Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has been not great. As a matter of fact, I am not excited about the release of new chapters.

I began working on a project; A fanfiction series called Boruto: Tenchijin. I have published 13 chapters on AO3 so far.

How it differs from BTBV manga?

It focuses not only on the protagonists but also side characters. Those anime-canon kids that you adore appear in the story but not to get disrespected and treated like irrelevant, flat characters. They are back to be fleshed out and have their moments of greatness.

There is actual fight scenes that don't feel like squash matches. Flashy destructive techniques return and the cast are versatile and powerful yet at the same time vulnerable and mortal. Even if one party suffers from defeat, they would not be deemed as weaklings as they'd already shown their capacity.

The lore-expanding and worldbuilding is not overlooked. There is an endless creation and compelling history events that needs to be explored.

Bonding is extremely important as it helps form a realistic story and add layers to characters. Your faves are allowed to fully express themselves in society and solitude alike.

Mar Morto narra a trajetória de Guma, um marinheiro baiano que enfrenta em sua vida a angústia e o perigo iminente de sua profissão adjunto a seus próprios dilemas pessoas envolvendo culpa, desejo e religiosidade.

Em sua escrita urbana característica, Amado nos apresenta em seu romance a dureza da vida daqueles que desbravam o mar, e mais ainda das mulheres e filhos que os esperam temerosamente em terra firme.

Recheado de conflitos sociais controversos como incesto, pedofilia, assassinato e promiscuidade, a narrativa por vezes se embola ao tentar construir uma linha de tempo cronológica e coerente

de tal modo que sub temas se expandem desnecessariamente e outros acontecimentos mais proeminentes introduzidos no início da obra foram ou mal desenvolvidos ou não concluídos totalmente

em especial para a relação mãe/amante de Rosa Palmeirão e Guma, que apesar de ter sido interessantíssima não teve muito desenvolvimento e a personagem perdeu completamente os holofotes a partir do segundo ato do romance (o que é irônico já que Rosa Palmeirão é a personagem mais memorável da obra, sendo marcada como uma das primeiras heróinas de Jorge Amado), gostaria de ter visto mais dessa dinâmica mas a narrativa tomou um outro rumo totalmente diferente que excluiu Palmeirão totalmente

Ao meu ver, Mar Morto é a mais pura representação da essência da escrita de Jorge Amado e o que ele se propõe a discutir em suas obras em geral, porém, de maneira alguma é o seu melhor ou mais relevante romance

Esse fator não deslegitima sua força cultural e literária é claro, acredito que Mar Morto tem sim sua parcela considerável de relevância não só por fazer parte dos primeiros romances do catálogo de Amado mas também pelo seu imensurável valor acadêmico em vestibulares, concursos etc

Cliff Notes for Boruto 18: You All Had One Job

Amado offers Kawaki a deal: he'll unlock Kawaki's power limiters so he can go on his suicide mission to fight Code and the Divine Trees. However, Kawaki needs to resurrect Akebi with his karma first.

Kawaki refuses to resurrect Akebi before killing Code, because this girl has major Final Boss energy. Amado does not deny this.

Sumire spends the whole chapter in the corner making a Surprised Pikachu Face at every development.

Meanwhile, Konohamaru completely beefs his seduction mission. His only job was to lure Matsuri into a false sense of security, and then he asks her not to refer to him as "Konohamaru-chan" because it's too familiar. Only Moegi gets to call him that. Matsuri then goes into yandere mode and prepares to kill her crush.

The chuunins somehow screw up their part of the plan even worse. When Ryu arrives, Yodo shows such obvious bloodlust that he can immediately tell this is a trap. Sarada's claims Yodo is safe; she just has resting bitch face. Yodo agrees, claiming all true ninja have resting bitch face.

Sarada then suggests Ryu use his thorn bulb as bait for Boruto. Ryu pretends to fall for the trick, but really he's using a fake thorn bulb made of sand as bait for Yodo. She goes full Leeroy Jenkins and races for the thorn bulb, exposing the team's plot in under a minute.

Ryu coats all the chuunin with iron sand and puppeteers their bodies to fight each other. Somehow Araya counters the jutsu by swinging his sword Loadstone (sic) in the air really hard. All the iron sand is then sealed into his sword. Part of me wishes Araya's sword had acted like a real lodestone and collected a giant clump of sand on the tip like a cotton candy stick. Tl;dr: Kawaki's getting a power-up, and Team Konohamaru and Team Sand completely screw up the desert mission.
