Will simon forget that betty isnt technically around because that happens with dementia right(?)

Absolutely. He tends to think of her as being away but not gone, like he could just go in the other room and find her there, or that she's on a trip.

He talks about her a lot and it's one of the main ways people have found to calm him down, to ask him about stuff with Betty gets him less agitated. When he gets more prone to wandering he tends to get confused and default to looking for her to try and figure out what he was doing. There's been a couple times where he gets brought back to PB and Marcy by a helpful candy citizen who found him wandering calling for her. He might default to calling women around him Betty or Princess and it can be hard to tell if it's a placeholder name or if he genuinely thinks she's there.

My mom passed away before Thanksgiving. Complications from Alzheimer's Disease. My grandmother also passed away from it over a decade ago. It's a nightmare that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

We suspected it for years, but she was only diagnosed in May, coincidentally, around the same time that Bruce Willis's dementia diagnosis was publicly announced.

I was never a huge fan or anything, but every once and a while through the fog of grief, or remembering some of the truly bad days, I catch myself wondering "I wonder how Bruce Willis is doing today."

HI HI I made an album based off my two special interests!! (The caretaker and pvz) for those who don’t know who the caretaker is, he’s most known for his project “everywhere at the end of time” which shows the progression of Alzheimer’s Disease through 1930s-40s music and it’s so fucking cool, but I used tracks from pvz instead and only recreated stage one tho since I don’t have any fancy audio editing tools and stuff.
