So I've been really interested in mythology and folk tales lately, and the ideas they embody and the idea of inventing myth. I mean as a storyteller, that's kind of what you do, right? it's such an interesting process, tracing back myths, finding their retellings, seeing what is similar and what isn't. myths are so cool

anyway this took some inspiration from a real myth (the tanabata myth) and a myth we're sort of working on as a side project (fellow writers know our minds are restless with ideas)!!
