Highlights from the stream:

Here are the anecdotes shared during the epic draw-fest. Nearly all of them have been shared elsewhere at least once, but the new ones for me were about Greg Universe's orientation and the prototypical name for what Steven and Pearl's Fusion was going to be.

Rebecca Sugar loved Peridot's floating fingers and wanted to do all kinds of fun things with them before they would be gone forever. That's why we see her making arrows with them and biting them nervously in the episode right before she loses them.

When selecting clips for promotional use, they tried to be super careful about not picking anything that would show Peridot's real hands before the reveal had been aired. They didn't want a promo to accidentally ruin that surprise.

While doing the show they had an "eye theory" where the three main Gems would always have a different number of eyes showing. Pearl had both her eyes visible; Amethyst usually had one covered; and Garnet had either no eyes showing or three eyes showing.

With Rebecca and Ian's decision to get married and the characters Ruby and Sapphire being based on them, they figured well, of course now they have to get married too. (Though Rebecca and Ian got to do so AFTER their characters did!)

One of Rebecca's "post-Future theories" is that Steven gets a Gibson Hummingbird guitar.

Cookie Cat was originally based off of Cookie Puss, a very strange Carvell ice cream cake. It had a complicated backstory, which was appropriate for working with their own characters' complicated backstory. The branding and packaging of the Cookie Cat is important within the show.

Jeff Liu composed the Cookie Cat theme on a Game Boy and pitched it.

Rebecca has a "theory" regarding how Steven and Connie's faces kind of "fit together" with Connie's face sticking out at the top and Steven's face sticking out at the bottom.

Rebecca used to do a lot of fan comics, and learned a lot about storytelling while practicing with others' worlds and characters. They love when people make things based on these characters.

The original appearance of Rainbow Quartz was inspired by a music video from the Cars that Rebecca loved when they were younger. The Cars are referenced a lot throughout the show because their videos were a huge inspiration to Rebecca.

Lapis is very much based on a character from one of Rebecca's comics from the art school days.

Everybody on the Crew had different ideas of how Steven's head connected to his body and how his hair worked; Rebecca felt that they learned from everyone's various ideas.

If you've heard that Rebecca was against Finn being in a relationship while working on Adventure Time, that is not true. Rebecca worked on lots of the Flame Princess episodes. Finn and Flame Princess were still together when Rebecca left the show (last episode "Simon and Marcy").

Greg Universe's sexuality was never explicitly stated on the show, but Rebecca thinks of him as sexually fluid. Regarding him as bisexual is also completely valid--and appreciated by Rebecca as a bisexual creator who puts lots of their own personal traits into characters and feels that bisexual characters are pretty rare. Greg's gender on the show is pretty solidly established as male, so Ian says he is probably not gender fluid, but Rebecca is fine with alternate headcanons about that too.

Some of the earliest concept art from "Mr. Greg" was everybody in suits. Getting everyone in a suit was a primary agenda.

Everyone also wanted Connie to have a Space Camp outfit in the earliest concepts for her design in the movie.

Rebecca used to love doing signings while doing the show because it was like a chance to come up for air and go back to work energized by knowing how many people were touched by the show.

Rebecca Sugar wanted Pink Diamond to feel a bit influenced/inspired, design-wise, by the work of Iwao Takamoto. Rebecca loved his work in the Hanna-Barbera Alice in Wonderland and on Sleeping Beauty.

Rebecca drew the rough of the poster's art and Danny Hynes did the colors. Rebecca loves that they got to do this poster because they didn't get to do the final Comic Con with any art depicting Future or beyond (the finale of Future coincided with the emergence of Covid, so everything was closed down), so this is their way of "going rogue" and doing it!

An early prototype of a Steven/Pearl Fusion was called Coral. Rebecca said maybe they could share some drawings of this Fusion sometime. Rebecca shared this factoid with the viewers while drawing Rainbow Quartz 2.0, and mentioned that Ian boarded the scenes including their introduction.

Rebecca would often draw Garnet with a huge smile on her face whenever Garnet was the requested character--even before Garnet had made an expression like that on any aired episode. They had to be careful not to drop any Garnet lore before viewers knew what her center was about. For the short period before "Alone Together" had aired that they were doing conventions, some people were getting mysteriously grinning Garnets and not being familiar with that expression, but once the episodes aired, they understood for sure.

Shelby Rabara, Peridot's voice actor, is a professional dancer, and she choreographed the tap-dancing in "Mr. Greg" as well as provided the foot-taps that you actually hear in the show during the dancing.

Rebecca thinks of art and writing as just two different ways of expressing what you mean--they're not exactly as different from each other as most people think.

Everyone on the Crew was so excited about Steven's neck as an older teen. Mainly because figuring out how Steven's head joins to his body was an issue in original SU.

Unfortunately, while it was also kinda nice to see so many people enjoying Rebecca's drawings and commentary, there was a lot of rudeness and obnoxiousness in the chat. I know, I know, it's expected; I too live on the internet. But I'm disappointed to say the chat was full of people demanding Black Diamond, or repeating their own name and what character they want every 3 seconds (like, literally, pasting it over and over again for a long period of time), or harassing them about "weird Ed Edd and Eddy art," or spamming "REBECCA WHAT WAS IN THE CHEST," or wanting constantly for them to say hi to them personally, or repeatedly asking if Rebecca has read Homestuck. Or even writing snotty things like "maybe you should stop drawing and get up and give us a new season." Holy shit. can u not

Fun Lore Ideas for Fawcett City

I've been sitting on these concepts for ages and need to get them out of my system. For my current WIP, it was important that I have a strong concept for what kind of city Fawcett was going to be. While the plot isn't technically taking place in Fawcett, a huge amount of my lore interpretations/characterisations rely on there being a solid original setting to draw from. Also, it's super fun to extrapolate history and economy for a fictional magic city to try and make it feel as plausible as possible.

Now, to start with, I had to establish where the city would actually be located. Fawcett is typically represented and/or thought of as being in the Midwest, so I was able to whittle down my options even more. I couldn't have it too close to Central City, Keystone City, or Smallville since I wanted Fawcett to retain its isolated feel. It'd be harder for it to get away with being magic if it was a stones throw from speedster stomping grounds, for instance. In the end, I looked up old maps of America DC Comics had officially released for inspiration. What I got were these:

The first didn't have Fawcett at all, and the second had it placed near the border of Wisconsin. The latter was serviceable for my purposes. However, I wanted something more to draw from. I wanted to make Fawcett feel like an actual city with history before I slapped on the magic superhero. It technically was just an ordinary city until Shazam placed a portal there after all.

My second go of looking for inspiration was much more fruitful. I looked at a few fan-made maps and eventually stumbled upon this one in a reddit forum:

Upon closer inspection, I realised something.

That's fucking Chicago.

The idea that then formed was brilliant, my best one maybe ever. If I don't want to write a 2K+ document detailing an organic history of fictional Fawcett City, coupled with local industry and culture to boot, I can just STEAL a real one!

The existence of IRL Chicago is not necessary for my story, and its absence would be barely noteworthy in the grand scheme of things. Functionally, it wouldn't even be gone. Its location and major historical events would still have occurred, just under a different name. It not only saves me tons of labour as a writer, it's also fucking hilarious.

The heart of ALL of magic lies in an abdoned subway station in downtown Chicago Fawcett, the Windy city that houses pagan subcultures, talking animals, cursed objects and people who still think it's 1945.

Southern Lake Michigan has freshwater mermaids. The flat lands of the city proper are surrounded by bluffs as old as the ice age, which thrum with prehistoric magic. The sunset is always pink, and moonbeams are brighter somehow here. In the river that flows through art-nouveau styled skyscrapers swim fish with rainbow scales. The people are happy and chatty and full of little secrets, kept close and safe for rainy days. The woman who dresses in leaves and sleeps on park benches is liable to be simply human, but the jolly old milkman who visits you every morning is fae through and through. Weird is normal and normal is weird.

All while in Chicago, Illinois, one of the most populous, wealthy cities in America since the 1870s. The mechanic who enchanted your car to not break down anymore was raised by regular steel mill workers. The politician who dreams of addressing the city's entrenched class divides is stuck doing paperwork to establish legal protections for the local gnome population's tree houses. When it snows in winter, Yetis clear driveways and salt the sidewalks. No one talks about it much because what is noteworthy about public servants doing their jobs? So what if they're Yetis? You got a problem with that?

Fawcett blows Gotham out the goddamn water for weirdness, but because they're so nonchalant and humble about it, Gothamites walk around smugly assured of their tolerance for insanity, unaware of the bigger fish, which is the average Fawcett citizen. When tourists come to visit, the very genre of reality changes the second they step foot within city lines.

Fawcett solos, tbh. DC writers are weaksauce for not seeing the vision that is mystic Chicago city, home to all of magic.

COYLE

- This man would wear leather 90% of the time, including leather pants. He takes wonderful care of his leather as well, makes sure to condition it as often as needed to keep it beautiful. If you see him sniffing his leather jacket, ignore it.

- It does not matter that he's sweating to death in said leather, he's not taking it off. He can't let you see his shirt with puppies on it underneath /j

- Prefers his clothing rather tight, super loose fitting clothing feels like it gets in the way. He likes the feeling of the wires wrapped around him for that reason.

- Would commit denim on denim crimes. Denim jeans, denim jacket, denim boots (referred to as doots by futterman). He does this to piss people off.

- Despises too much color in an outfit. Bright and colorful disgusts him, he's wearing neutrals and only neutrals.

- Would let a reagent decorate his beard with bows if he was promised pistachios. This is only if the pistachios are in his hands while they decorate.

- You'd think he'd wear heeled boots to make himself seem taller, but you'd be wrong! He's got the insoles that make him taller instead :)

- I think you could convince him to wear a rodeo cowboy outfit. Tassels and all that. You'd tell him he looks cool and he'd believe you.

- Cargo short dad vibes. Each pocket is full of cigarettes and/or pistachios. He doesn't care about the fashion he likes the utility. Takes him a good 5 minutes to get anything out of a pocket though.

- Wore fingerless gloves when he was younger bc he thought they made him look cooler. He'd try them on again and Franco would bully him relentlessly for trying to act younger than he is. He's crying in his room afterward.

MOTHER GOOSEBERRY

- She'd be the English teacher with a collection of fun skirts. Cute patterns, silly patterns, gaudy patterns, you name it, she's wearing it. Futterman says she looks like a rainbow threw up on her.

- She'd also love bold earring choices. Big earrings that make you double-take to make sure you saw them right, earrings that light up, anything with frills. She's a lover of the bold, partially because the children love her crazy styles.

- She'd play around with different lipstick colors if she had access to them. A nice purple lip would make her happy. If Futterman didn't call her a whore for wearing it.

- Futterman would also call her a whore if she tried to wear a shorter skirt, but she'd still tried to get away with it. Not super short, mind you, she's got an image to keep up for the children, but maybe something a little below the knees?

- If a reagent offered to do her hair, like put little accessories in it and detangle it, she'd cry. She wants to feel feminine and she wants to feel pretty, and a pretty bow might help her with that.

- She'd love to wear a petticoat under her skirts, the extra poof would make her feel fun. That's if Futterman didn't find a way to make a fat joke about it.

- Futterman himself would have a collection of very dapper bow ties. Polka-dots and stripes and maybe even little stars, and a variety of colors. He feels fancy when she changes them out for him.

- He'd hate it, but I think Phyllis would have a variety of little hats for him. I wanna see him in one of those little propeller hats. Spin it and she takes off of the ground.

- If it were modern times I could absolutely see her wearing a giant t-shirt with something like a kitten or a puppy on it. Maybe even tie-dye. She'd be a big t-shirt enjoyer is the main idea here.

- Would LOVE chunky heels or maybe even platforms if she was feeling adventurous, but I have this bad feeling she already got shit for being a tall woman. Let her be an even taller queen.

FRANCO

- I love the concept that he wears his clothes too big to feel smaller. While I'm not sure if Murkoff gave him his outfit that he wears in game, I don't think he's too upset about it being oversized.

- I also think that he likes wearing his suits bc they make him feel a little less ugly. He knows the suit is dirty and stained with a bunch of different shit, but a suit is a suit, and suits make you handsome, right?

- He's very particular about his bow ties, he only likes a select few patterns and colors. They still have to match with his suits, though. Can't have himself looking like a fool who doesn't know how to dress!

- Would attempt to steal one of Futterman's bow ties bc he likes it and thinks it'd look better on him. Would almost get fucking annihilated as a result.

- We know his hygiene isn't great from the comics, but I think he's at least slightly ashamed about just how filthy his outfit is. I think he's just kinda accepted that it's not going to be cleaned/he has no way to clean it.

- If you put him in a brand new zoot suit and stuck him in front of a mirror, he'd try to act cocky and like he knew he was handsome as hell. But you'd absolutely be able to tell by how he's smiling and how his eyes are watery that he hasn't felt this attractive in awhile.

- A personalized pacifier WOULD be considered a part of an outfit. If his paci matched his outfit he'd feel so damn cool. And if it had his name on it and looked nice? He'd feel like a prince.

- He's gotta wear his dress shoes, they're a mandatory part of his look, but he wishes they had a little more heel to them. He's joining Coyle in the insoles that make him taller. My short king.

- Outside of the suits, he'd love a soft, heavy sweater. Something that really makes him feel like he's being cuddled. The color wouldn't really matter to him, as long as it offered him some comfort.

- I'm a firm believer in him wearing diamond earrings. I know it doesn't fit as much with the baby part of him, but the mobster in him loves showing off his wealth. He'd fiddle with them a lot, though.

I accidentally assigned Gooseberry's style as "lesbian art teacher" and I won't be taking it back ❤️

(I have been keeping up with the reboot news despite being semi-active. I'm nothing if not nosy.)

Anyway basing a transformation off of aerial acrobatics is objectively a good idea, but it's just...not executed well. Other people have made better posts about why it doesn't work, and I'm probably person #86 to tell you it's bad. And bad may not even be the right word, rather...uninspired? Uncanny? Unfinished?

Parts of this make sense; use vines because Flora's a nature fairy and you've used them in her transformations before (including her first 3D one!). Use aerial acrobatics because it invokes the idea of flying, and has a grace that really does remind me of Flora. There's plenty of flowers in her hair and on the dress and on her boots!

But it doesn't come together. The focus isn't the outfit, or even Flora, really. It's on these spin moves that are so fast you don't get much of an opportunity to see what's happening. Her dress and wings are on in a second. Instead the biggest focus is on her boots, which are basic and boring. It's a win for feet people and no one else.

It's also kind of jumbled? I hate that the background goes through 3 separate color changes in 30 seconds. No other transformation does that (Harmonix is the closest with its tie-dye, but its way more cohesive in its color pallete and pattern). It's jarring. It gives the impression that 3 separate teams made this without collaborating, and the main editor didn't feel like changing them.

(We're not touching the song. The lyrics and composition are fine, and I found out today it was performed by a child.)

I also wonder if any weird stuff is just from the jump to a new animation style or if it's more AI usage that Straffi swears he didn't do even though there's a shit ton of evidence saying otherwise. Maybe his "competitors" broke into Rainbow and swapped the footage, the same way they're "spreading rumors" about his AI usage! So that's a super fun worry in the back of my head every time something comes out.

Like I said before I don't hate this, but it gives rough draft vibes. It needs a good final rewrite and some polish to really shine. Only time will tell if this is an outlier of the new transformations, or the standard.

☆ Will because WE NEED HAPPY WILL IN OUR LIVES!

WE DO! Buckle up!

When Will laughs really hard, his face turns red, and when he smiles super wide, he gets dimples. Mike loves both, and both end up with him grabbing Will's face and peppering it with kisses.

Will constantly wears a ton of bracelets - some gifts from Mike, others friendship bracelets, one's just rainbow - and he loves them all. He wears hairties on his left wrist, too, because he likes giving them away to his long-haired friends (and sister).

Will and Max are both disabled, and they hang out a lot. Their service dogs like to play with each other, and they frequently go to Will's favorite flower shop, their favorite coffee shop, the park, the mall, etc. Will tells Max what's going on around her (especially what stupid thing Mike's doing so she can properly make fun of him) and she holds his arm and lets him lead them around places, and she signs what she hears at Will when he takes out his hearing aids. She taught him to skateboard, and he learned a style of 3D painting so he could give her art. He also drew her D&D character in this style and made a Braille character sheet. (She cried.)

Will and Hopper get along great. They hang out regularly, Hopper attends the parent function thingamabobs, and they become close. They even come up with a scheme to sneak in a stray kitten and hide it from Joyce at one point - it lasts for less than an hour, but Joyce lets them keep the cat, so they're still happy. El names him Whiskers. Their real bonding moment came with music - Hopper was blasting Steely Dan, and Will came in and made him listen to Fleetwood Mqc, Queen, The Clash, and The Cure.

Mike joins a band, and he and Eddie cajole Will into learning an instrument. Will ends up trying bass and he fucking loves it. Eddie says he's a natural - it's in no small part because Will takes out his hearing aids when he's playing, and he just feels the vibrations of the notes and can tell what note it is just by vibration. He loves it, because music can sound weird through the hearing aid, and he's able to feel it playing bass. (He plays for Jonathan when he visits him at NYU.)

When the Party start 11th grade, they start school at a Montessori K-12 school, which they all do well in, especially Will. With a less structured school, minimal homework, disability aid, and shortened hours (8:30-3:00), he's able to get straight A's and pack his schedule, too. He has talk therapy on Tuesdays and Thursdays (3:15-4:30 PM) as well as physical therapy (5-5:30 PM), art club on Wednesdays (3-3:45 PM), science club on Mondays (3-4 PM), D&D on Saturdays, family pizza and movie nights every Friday, and volunteers at his synagogue on Sunday (a lot of the older ladies adore him). He works at a flowershop with El during the summers, and frequently goes to gay speakeasies and immerses himself in Deaf and LGBT+ culture (he starts to take out his hearing aids more the longer he spends with other Deaf people, as he learns sign language and starts to find his place without hearing) and makes a lot of gay friends.

Will gets a service dog. His name is Charlie, a rescued Burmese Mountain Dog, who adores Will. He takes a minute to warm up to the idea, but when he does, Will fucking loves that dog. I'm talking sneaks-him-extra-treats, that-dog-sleeps-in-Will's-bed-every-night, Mike's-cuddle-position-might-get-replaced loves. He's thrilled that Charlie gets to go with him everywhere after a bit, and with the dog around, Will's a much calmer, happier person.

Will becomes a lot less reserved as he gets more comfortable with himself, happily sassing people, flopping down in Mike and his friends' laps, signing more often, being less ashamed of his sexuality and scars and disability, becoming more comfortable with his body, wearing nice clothes, etc, etc, etc.

curious as to how you feel about slime rancher's gameplay as a whole, if you wanna talk about it

oh boy.

slime rancher has a unique chaos-focused gameplay design unlike any other game ive played while also going for a chill farming vibe. after years of playing the first game, and just a handful of hours in the second.. i believe the gameplay loop and level design to be the reason I havent played the series in recent years.

everything in slime rancher is random.

crop yield, crop grow time, slime spawns, slimes feeding themselves, everything. and this is the core, foundational game design philosophy they’ve dedicated themselves to. and they’ve doubled down on the randomness in sr2.

shop stock is random every day. unlocking blueprints come unpredictably. resource nodes are randomly scattered about. weather, which can dictate slime AND material spawning, is 100% random. not even to what weather happens, but what DEGREE the weather is.

this much random chance has made the series appeal to me less and less with time. i love to strategize beyond all else in a farming game, and slime rancher’s “chill chaos” just doesnt accommodate my style of gameplay anymore. i want resource extractors. i want to have a reliable income in terms of resources so i can do all the incredible decorating they’ve added.. but i dont think anything could get me to play hundreds of hours of sr2 to collect resources by hand at the mercy of rng. i did this with gilded gingers for fun. i never wanted to do that for EVERYTHING.

now, to look at sr2’s gameplay and design decisions more closely..

slimes live in corrals. boxes. this is one thing i thought could have always been expanded on. enclosures are as simple as ever, essentially what they always were right from sr1 beta. slimes being fed are still dictated by the chance of food hitting their mouths at the right angle, right time, with the slime in the right mood. it just doesnt work reliably, leading to slime chaos despite any player’s best efforts. the devs seem to see this as part of the game, and not something that could be revolutionized or improved upon. the ranch expansions are as simple as ever. we can decorate them though…! i guess…! i wish there was more thought and love put into the ranching. more involved slime care. i had a lot of ideas i never drew down for how things could change..

moving on to the level design itself, the areas in sr2 feel more confusing than ever for me to navigate. and ive stubbornly believed that is not on me. the islands are focused on experiencing beauty and wonder, but not really designed with normal gameplay quirks that can help players navigate without even knowing they’re being helped. like landmarks. sr2 has the volcano, split tree and the conservatory. these three things are actually pretty difficult to spot in most locations, which really fucking sucks. if you’re lost on the sr2 map, they really just want you to open the map or wander. another thing that has always bugged me a TON, is in the rainbow fields there is a fucking death drop into water that looks like youre walking home. like…. LIKE???? another thing that feels especially controversial to point out is how the super-saturated aesthetic of every area can make an area feel samey, confusing even. rainbow fields have rainbows everywhere. imo, you could have gone for that idea while having brightly coloured trees, rocks, grass, that are DIFFERENT COLOURS. FOR CONTRAST. pick bright colours that complement eachother and sculpt the world with it. when i think of rainbow fields, i honestly can only imagine the purply blue grass and moss on grey stones…

it feels as though sr2 was all about pushing the teams creative and aesthetic abilities with a huge sacrifice to regular gameplay design. a slime rancher sequel was an opportunity to build anew from the ground up and address huge issues with 1’s unreliability due to physics and loading zones, etc. the full game isnt out yet so i cant speak on whether they’ll ever take these kinds of issues into consideration in future patches.

anyway at the end of the day, for a game so focused on aesthetic, slime rancher 2 doesnt even have properly textured tangle largos. I wont bother to look or photograph them all myself because tangles are only from rare weather. but next time you’re in game, check out that flat batty tangle flower for yourself. until that flower gets a proper texture patch i dont really have much else to say.

neil characters and their favorite my little pony characters—because i have nothing better to do on my day off

simon: well first of all he’d be offended at the idea he even watches mlp (he does when he’s little), but once you get him past that, he’s saying it’s rainbow dash. he thinks she’s super cool and would love to ride his bike with her, likes how blunt and “rude” she is. HOWEVER—it’s probably actually princess luna. also i feel like he would maybe even feel connected to nightmare moon a little, even tho celestia is the older sibling. he’d also really love rarity, but you absolutely would not be able to get him to admit that, both when he’s little or big, but you can still see the way his eyes light up when she comes on screen.

astarion: rarity, obviously. i don’t think there’s much to really elaborate on there. also totally princess celestia.

rob: he has literally no interest in mlp at all & when you ask him he looks at you like 🤨, but you’re forcing him to pick a favorite anyway because he has to have one, and he’s seen the show one thousand times atp because of how much you watch it when ur little. so after a bit of thought and some very put on sighing, he’d say applejack or rainbow dash. they’re both very hard headed no nonsense characters and he’d vibe with that. they’re also the ones that amuse him the most when ur watching it together.

seb: he’d like spike, i think. i also wanna say rainbow dash, maud pie, or discord as well. when he starts taking care of u when u regress around him, he’s all “whatda you wanna watch?” cuz he’s a little nervous about this whole thing, he doesn’t wanna do something wrong, especially since you’re in such a vulnerable headspace, and he thinks that watching smth with you will be the easiest way to ensure he doesn’t do smth stupid cuz you’ll be preoccupied. when u tell him mlp he’s like “….ok….” and he’s a little confused by everything happening at first, but spike is like—so cool to him and makes him laugh surprisingly, same with rainbow and maud. he just likes their attitudes and also he’d be really into maude’s obsession with rocks. like “yeah i get her.” also discord obviously bc of the amount of chaos he causes.

luke: rainbow dash or spike. once again you’re absolutely not getting him to admit he knows anything about mlp out loud, but…i also like to think deep down he likes some of the more “girly” ponies too. like he sees princess cadance or luna and lowkey starts to get really attached to them. “luke why are u looking for princess cadance figures online—“ “IM NOT!”

ernst: twilight sparkle and fluttershy. i like to think when he was on the island and going thru the wreckage of the ship for books, he finds a bunch of mlp books (ik stranded takes place way before mlp was even thought of, but we’re talking ab neil characters and anthropomorphic ponies rn, i don’t think this has to be rooted in reality) and after he finishes reading everything else he’s like “sure why not.” twilight is such an obvious choice for him, but he would relate to her so much i think😭 and tbh i think he’d like seeing some representation of another nerdy person cuz he probably feels really alone in that, especially on the island with no one but his family around. but when he gets off the island and for whatever reason starts talking ab mlp with other ppl, they all tell him twilight is like—made fun of a lot and ppl kind of find her annoying and he gets so offended and pouty about it.

ET: maud pie also probably likes rainbow dash, discord, and gabby. he likes all their attitudes and thinks rainbow and gabby are super cool, appreciates the chaos of discord like seb, and he likes how laid back and blunt maud is. also like seb he’d like her thing with rocks, but purely cuz he relates to that kind of autistic dedication (has watched the movie ET 23 times and named himself after the character)

quinten: fluttershy :3 he relates to her love of animals (ono destroys a bee hive that quinten is looking after in the book) and he likes how soft spoken and gentle she is. he’d relate to rarity’s attitude tho and he’d also rlly love pinkie pie and her goofiness.

charlie: similar to rob, he’s got no interest in mlp whatsoever, but you force him to watch it all the time when little, and tbhhh it’s definitely queen chrysalis. you’d yell at him and be like “but she’s evil u can’t like her!!” and he just shrugs and is like “ofc i can” before pinching ur tummy (u want to get a plushie of her for him, but he’s the one paying for everything so he’s basically buying it for himself with an amused little smile)

nikolai: specifically nightmare moon. not princess luna, just nightmare moon. also queen chrysalis too. he truthfully would not have many thoughts on mlp beyond finding it to be just…kind of weird. like. “what is this odd human thing. you watch this? they show this to children? how strange…” but you like it so he’ll obviously watch it with you and try to memorize everything he can about it.

hook: also just nightmare moon and queen chrysalis. probably any villain tbh. he likes giggling when they do smth mean to the mane 6 and making u pout and scold him for it.

father anthony: fluttershy :( she’s the most relatable for him i think and similar to quinten, he likes how gentle she is. he finds her love of animals admirable and truthfully would maybe just find her to be comforting when he’s watching the show with you amongst all the other chaos.

and after all this you get to find out that my favorite character is fluttershy and also angel (her bunny) makes me think of simon. i love pinkie pie too, there was a point where she was rlly rivaling fluttershy for my favorite.

Well this I didn’t know who to write this for & then a friend online said they really liked Marcus Moreno & I was like ahhh this is gonna be a good idea for him with this prompt so here we go. Let’s have some fun with our super hero.

Synopsis:- Marcus is not happy with his new super hero outfit.

“The fuck” he says as he hold up his new super hero outfit. “What are you making me wear?”you giggle.

“It’s not just you Marcus” you try to not laugh as he actually takes his glasses on & off again to check he’s not seeing things & that it is that bold & colourful. “Everyone in the team has something similar, it’s pride month after all”

“I get that but these…” he shakes his head, he’s trying to remain angry but he’s also trying not to laugh “it’s a bit over the top”

“Please Marcus just try them on & you should be lucky you’re not Lava Girl, she’s already complaining about too much glitter” he rolls his eyes & grabs the rest of the bag & pulls the curtain in front of him in the locker room to change into his new super hero costume, that the team had been working on for the last 8 months for everyone. The message needs fo be very on brand, after last year a couple of the older heroic had comments that were not very inclusive & had old fashioned values. Something you have been trying to remind them about. One of these heroics has since retired.

5 minutes later out he step & you laugh, bending over as you can’t even Keep it calm or quiet. He puts his hands on his hips & pouts. He smirking, he can’t hide it.

“I don’t see what’s so funny, it’s atrocious” there he stands swaying about & bending to his knees in his new rainbow styled super hero suit. The rainbow trousers were boot leg cut & he just keeps looking down at them & shaking his head. The more he gets pissed at them the more you love them. “Stop laughing” he says trying not to join you, your laugh he always finds contagious.

“Sorry Marcus, but it’s so funny that mr serious who’s almost always in dark blue or black is now in the colours of the rainbow. It does look cute.”

“I’m not meant to be cute or a certain brand depending on it being National coffee day or international cat day, I’m the leader of the heroics, what will aliens think if they drop in & have to fight me?”

“They will go oooh he’s an ally” you try to stop laughing, your face hurts from doing to much of it.

“You & costume know full well if I go out in this to fight crime & save the world that I’ll become a meme”

“& is that so bad”

“I have a teenage daughter…”

“What” Marcus has no idea that Missy has been in on all of this & wanted her dad to be as vibrant as possible. He then finally does look in the mirror looking at the whole thing.

“I mean I guess it’s comfortable, they’ve made some worse outfits, but why is it so… colourful?”

“Cos you’re meant to be proud & out there” you stand behind him & run your hands across the back of his shoulders. “ & you are out there Marcus” you whisper & he turns to face you, looking straight into your green eyes. “You keep the world safe, & Missy & me are proud of you for doing that” you slowly stand on your tip toes & gently kiss his lips & slowly run your hands through his hair as he squeezes your bum.

“Hmmm if you weren’t head of marketing & such a good kisser I’d be very disappointed in you for making me put this on”

“Would it help” you say as you undo his belt. “If I said you don’t have to wear this if you really don’t want to but that I also have a rainbow tie, cufflinks & glasses for the next month?” You smile at him & see his frown soften. He then cups your face.

“I’d much prefer than sexy”

“Good,” you sigh before he caresses your cheek before kissing you again. A deep & sensual kiss. “Now let’s get you out of this stupid outfit”

so i got two different versions of the "leviathan au." one where it's a whole different situation from regular (not-a-game) HLVRAI, in which gordon and benry first meet when gordon is test driving an experimental exploration sub for black mesa... and another one where it follows along with the regular not-a-game AUs, and the leviathan is benry's true form. this second version also follows my headcanon that benry really was 'born' in 1994 (and is just a year younger than gordon).

benry hatched from an egg that had crashed down onto earth over a hundred years ago, and the crator its impact made turned into a small lake over time.

(the entity that laid that egg had been... dealt with by the overly territorial mr. coolatta, along with the rest of the clutch. unfortunately for mr. coolatta, he missed one egg. and said egg would prove to be a major headache source for him yeaaaars in the future.)

in the early morning of january 1st, 1994, the egg finally hatched, and a little larval space squid dragon crawled out. he remained in that lake for five years, curious about the world and other creatures beyond its shore, but always too nervous to leave the safety of his cradle.

until one day, when a smaller version of some of the beings benry had sometimes seen hanging around the lake finally spotted him. and gave him a candy bar.

this version of the AU uses the whole 'gordon and benry really DID know each other as kids' idea, and in this case, they knew each other over the course of one summer. lil six-year-old gordon and his family were spending the summer at a relative's lakeside home, and while exploring the lake beach, gordon encounters and soon befriends a 'lake monster'. (all the adults of course write the kid's tales of his new lake monster friend as a child's wild imagination, naturally.)

communication between the two of them is at first pretty one-sided, which doesn't bug gordon much cause he's pretty sure his new friend 'Sparkly' is just an animal (monsters are a kind of animal, duh) so he's not expecting sparkly to understand him. gordon is at least able to understand how 'sparkly' is feeling, though, as the weird rainbow bubbles he sings out make gordon feel things that don't feel like his feelings. which he thinks is really weird but also kinda cool and he wishes his cat missy could do that.

benry is eventually able to finally really understand what gordon's saying, once he's able to briefly make a mental connection with the human. VERY briefly. just long enough to get an understanding of the following things:

the english language (at a six-year-old's level at least).

that his new friend's species are called humans.

that humans don't think things like him exist, and would freak out if proven otherwise. this is why gordon won't let benry follow him when the bigger humans call him to come back to the big boxy shelter.

video games are a thing and apparently super fun. benry would like to try video games. pushing buttons to make a lil guy on a picture box do stuff, as if you were the little guy. sounds neat!

if benry wants to do anything outside of his lake without having to hide all the time, he needs to look less like himself and more like a human (looking like a human will also make talking like one easier. can't really form a lot of the sounds they make with just a beak.)

unfortunately, this didn't happen until like a day or two before gordon had to go back home. but gordon told benry that he'd be back next year! he'll think up a ton of new stuff for them to do until then!

...doubly unfortunately, sometime late fall of that year, black mesa finally finds benry and takes him down to their facility in new mexico. so the next year that gordon's family goes to visit at the lake in summer again, gordon gets no response when he calls out to 'sparkly,' no matter how many times he does. after a time he gives up, accepting that his lake monster friend is gone, and then eventually even forgets he ever existed, believing any memories to be imaginary friend stuff, like his mom and relatives always assumed.

benry didn't forget, though.

...but he did forget what he orginally looked like. not long after gordon's family left, benry got to work on practicing looking human. the hands were the easiest part, he already had hands like that, he just had to get rid of one finger (why humans only got five??). arms and torso were no biggie either, really. the hard part was the head and legs. legs weren't toooo hard to figure out, they were kind of like arms, sorta, but human heads and his head are SO different, like, wow. that took a while.

by the time black mesa had found him, he was looking mostly human. but not enough to trick anybody. especially not anybody with ways to detect the cosmic energy his body radiated.

black mesa never knew about benry's true form, as he never went back to it once during his captivity (and eventual employment for good behavior) at the facility, and eventually benry himself even forgot what he really looked like... which could possibly be blamed on some of the experiments conducted on him. his memory may be a bit wonk in some regards, but it's not THAT bad.

it's not until after the big beatdown in xen that he finally starts to remember... he respawns, but in that midform, rather than his usual human disguise form.

he's unable to try and shift further, as the 'containment' mr. coolatta mentioned turns out to be a whole new research facility that black mesa sold benry off to in order to secure extra funds for repairing and rebuilting their own labs.

this new place, Lancer Labs, seems to have gotten the same weird 'dampening field' that 'mesa had to keep benry's powers nerfed.

the scientists at lancer are also not as 'nice' as black mesa's, if you can believe that.

benry's stuck there for a year, being as uncooporative as he possibly can. lancer has been able to learn all they can from examining his body, but they have made like 0 progress with mental/behavioral studies, and they're starting to get real tired of benry's shit. so upon reviewing various files and reports they got from black mesa, including some recordings from during the rescas, the researchers at lancer labs get an idea for something that might finally get their prized specimen to stop being a stubborn ass.

in the middle of the night, gordon freeman is abducted from his own home.

they could tell from some of the rescas recordings, that benry seemed to be rather fond of the humans he was travelling with. lancer is going to use gordon as a barganing chip.

benry had become pretty listless and dejected during his new captivity, but seeing gordon get dragged into this shit was the kick in the pants his drive to escape needed. gordon may have been a big jerk, but he doesn't deserve being locked up in a lab for the simple crime of knowing benry.

benry just has to wait for the right moment to break outta here....

Curtis Parents hcs let’s goooooo

I don’t know why. But Mrs. Curtis was definitely a spring or summer baby.

Her name was Carolina but she went by Lina! Or CC. Me. Curtis called her CC when they got married

I like to think she was kind of a petite woman-she had the thickest hair imaginable. She was seriously beautiful (I mean…look at her kids)

She had this waist length, wavy, golden hair and these bright green eyes. She definitely had a more doe like look.

She used to love eye makeup. Mr Curtis used to call her Bambi because she looked so deer like sometimes with her eyes lol

She loved sundresses and bright colors and often wore a white dress with yellow flower prints on them. That was Pony’s favorite af least.

Mr. Curtis was definitely a load taller than her

He canonically looks like Darry-I’m imagining him to have these grey eyes-or maybe brown! Maybe even heterochromia honestly! One brown eye and one grey eye.

He used to be a shop class teacher at the high school! He had Darry in his class actually. He taught Darry how to start woodworking and the tips and tricks, hence why he roofs homes now. He feels like he’s with his father when we’ve he goes

He was definitely bigger in build and looked SO scary but he was the goofiest man ever

The two met on a blind date! Mrs. Curtis wore her yellow dress and that’s how they ended up finding each other

Their first date was to a fair and out for dinner. They go to fairs a lot, and they had their first kiss at the top of a ferris wheel I’m calling it

He’d call her Daffodil a lot because she had one in her hair when they first met 😭🙏

Neither of them had big families-Mrs. Curtis was raised in a modest house-she didn’t have much growing up but it taught her to be a hard worker

Mr Curtis was honestly the same-except he had it a lot worse

He didn’t get to eat often so whenever his family was eating he would say his stomach hurt at dinner all the time and would wait for everyone else to have their fill before saying he would “try to eat” (this was a plot to make sure everyone was fed before him)

Darry learned this from him tbh

Their wedding was suuuuuper fun tho-they both have big extended families and they were able to throw a really big ceremony for them

Nrs. Curtis got pregnant with Darey on their honeymoon. They were pretty young when they had him-they’d canonically be at least in their early 20s

It was her idea to name him Darrel too. She thought he looked just like him, even as a baby

Aftee him they wanted another baby (Mrs. Curtis got HORRID baby fever) and they had one-but unfortunately that baby didn’t make it.

Soda was a rainbow baby by default-they told him and he thought that meant he was born rainbow

She did NOT wanna name him Sodapop but Mr. Curtis was very persuasive

By the time Ponyboy came along she gave up and let him name him Ponyboy 😭

Mrs. Curtis worked as a kindergarten teacher! The kids called her Miss Sunshine a lot because of her hair and the bright colors she wore

She was super good at music! She used to do club performances when her and Mr. Curtis were dating (just singing and playing piano) and Mr. Curtis immediately fell in love with her

She taught Darry and Pony how to sing and play piano. Soda had n interest lol

She also loved nature! Mr. Curtis did too-he was like a big puppy who just constantly needed attention and to be outside lol

They went brid watching a lot too!

Mrs. Curtis had a super sweet and soft voice and Mr. Curtis had the thickest accent ever 😭

Mr. Curtis was a lot like Bandit from Bluey. That’s the best comparison I can make-he was super goofy and fun loving but he was always putting his kids before anything else

When the Curtis brothers buried their parents they put daffodils on both their graves. They can’t look at daffodils anymore without tearing up or crying

In this AU, Disgust and Envy are the stars of the show! They’re an aspiring journalist duo who hope they can get their big break with a hit story. Alongside their partner Anxiety, they have their watchful eyes on a criminal group, The Rainbow Renegades. Made up of 6 members, these guys are tough cookies to deal with, and so Disgust, Envy and Anxiety will have to use their smarts to get intel and bust these outlaws. However, the duo doesn’t know that they have a secret weapon that can help them bust the Renegades, but it won’t come out to them that easily…

Disgust

The lead investigator. Loves dressing up and writing about gossip. She’s been doing it ever since high school. Runs a small newspaper/magazine with her sister Envy called HotGloss News. Having sewing and fashion design as a hobby, she uses this skill to her advantage and designs all sorts of disguises for the trio to use. Her biggest weakness? Bias.

Envy

Disgust’s little sister and partner. She aspires to be just like her sister when she grows up, and run her own newsletter! Despite only being 9 years old, she helps her sis in investigations and does it amazingly. I mean, nobody expects a child to be an undercover investigator! She has a blossoming friendship with Anxiety, and often wants to tag along with her when she goes out, even though she keeps insisting that she shouldn’t. Huh.

Anxiety

A friend of Disgust’s that took this job to aid the duo in getting intel. Also, it’s just fun to go undercover and spy on people. Anxiety says she’s also trying to escape something from weighing on her, but the “something” she mentions is unknown. She goes out often to run errands of her own, but always comes back out of breath, tired, and nervous. Sometimes she even seems to come back hurt in some way, which makes this habit sketchier. Little do Disgust and Envy know, she has something bigger hiding behind their back…

The Rainbow Renegades

Sunshine (Joy)

The leader of the Renegades. Always comes up with a devious plan to smash and grab. Her specialty being the “sunburst” in which she pulls out a gun and spins while pulling the trigger. Sounds cute, but it’s extremely deadly.

Flamethrower (Anger)

The Renegade best known for setting the ransacked place on fire. For some reason, it comes out of his head. (!?)

Greg (Fear)

Instead of having a super-cool alias like the other renegades, this guy just goes by “Greg”. But don’t let his vulnerable personality and look fool you, as he has strength at unbelievable levels.

Au_revoir46377 (Ennui)

The renegades’ in house hacker. Going by her online username, she finds places that got the goods they want, and locates them for the renegades to ransack. Also usually turns off all security cameras as well.

Smasher (Embarrassment)

On the same floor as Greg, but Smasher is a bit more shy to throw punches. He’d rather just take the stuff.

The most important character, out of all of them, is actually Anxiety, and for a special reason. Remember how I mentioned that she goes out fairly often, and comes back suspiciously exhausted every time? Well, that’s because she’s secretly part of the Rainbow Renegades.

Zap (Anxiety’s alter ego)

When Anxiety goes out to “run errands,” what she’s really saying is that she’s going to go meet up with her comrades, the Rainbow Renegades, and go break the law. Under the alias Zap, she is probably one of the greatest criminals the Renegades have ever had. She can pull off a heist that would usually take more than one person, all under one minute. In fact, Sunshine considers her the bestest friend and partner in crime she’s ever had! However, both sides don’t know about her identity on the other. Disgust and Envy don’t know about her criminal life as Zap. The Rainbow Renegades don’t know about her real and investigator life as Anxiety. Yet, she’s way too nervous to come out to both. She thinks she’ll either disappoint or enrage either of them. So for now, she’s just going to figure out how to live a double life.

Everyone got news from Eddie dear that a new neighbour will come into Welcome home and become it's 10th resident, everyone was excited that the day before your scheduled arrival, the residents kept on talking about the kind of puppet you are what you'd like and all the fun things theyd do with you.

Finally the day has come, Welcome home was about to welcome a new resident. Before you step into the neighbourhood you took a deep breath, preparing for the reactions you'd get from the puppets here. You were confident in your style of course, but there are times where words have an impact, but you sucked it up and made your way into the town. Everything was brightly coloured and rainbow, opposite of your colour scheme: black, dark that of which could be compared to what most would wear on halloween.

You were in awe with how the neighbourhood looks that you didnt realise all the residents in front of you eyes widen prepared to welcome you.

"Welcome to Welcome home new neighbour!" Julie said with excitment making you look at her and the rest of the puppets.

"Oh! Thank you!" you smiled and waved "my name is (first and surname) I hope we all can get along well"

Sally and Julie went up to you with sparkles in their eyes

"My name is Sally!" Sally started "Woah! Youre wearing all black! What a contrast to the rest of us! You look like the moon"

"I agree with Sally! I love your outfit so much! My name is Julie Joy"

You laughed and thanked them both before looking at the other residents. One by one they introduced themselves and complimented your style. Wally Darling was the only resident who was more interested in you than the others, but he cant pinpoint why

Wally wasnt really known for small talk, all he does is smile and listen but with you it was different.

The little get together with the rest of the neighbourd went well and was fun. From that day forward you were offically known as Welcome Home's 10th resident.

Little by little you started hanging out with Wally Darling more and everyone could see the contrast between the 2 of you more and more by each day.

It's not just how you both present yourself, but also your personality. Wally was calm, curious and collected. You were boisterous, confident and always ready to learn new things, despite all that you both still find things in common and everyone found that amazing.

You both made it offical after a while and became the towns couple. Its a shock really if you both didnt become the talk of the town, puppets were awed, envious (in a good way) and admired you both. When he found out that people at your work were giving you shit for being queer, he was pissed.

It’s 2099 god damnit, how are people STILL homophobic.

“You should have told me, I can talk some sense into those assholes.”

Even if you said you could handle it he would not take it.

Goes to your workplace and lodges a complaint about the coworker(s).

If HR gives some bullshit about not being able to do anything, he tells them they fucked up big time.

Starts investigating every little thing about the company while helping you look for a new job, he’s taking the place down and you’re going somewhere better.

Man has power, so he gets a LOT of dirt on your harassers and the shitty management.

Once you get a new job all the info gets leaked to the press and their rightful legal organizations.

Company goes under not long after.

All because they refused to be decent human beings.

Also he takes you out for a tasty meal as celebration.

Miles Morales

He’s super supportive of you, and he knows you can handle yourself.

But when he’s walking down the hall and hears someone call you a slur, that’s when he gets mad.

Tells the kid to fuck off and drags you to his dorm, not caring that you both have class.

When you ask Miles what’s up he give you a ‘seriously?’ look.

”Is that the first time that’s happened?”

When you tell him no he just about flips out.

”What do you mean ‘no’? Why is no one doing anything about it?”

You explain that the guy had been ‘punished’ multiple times but that only made him madder and so he kept doing it.

Miles starts fuming.

He starts to do research on the kid, and when he finds out that he likes Spider-man he knows exactly what to do.

He starts to make changes in his regular life and his Spider-man life.

Tells people to cut the bullshit at school and starts opely supporting the LGBTQ+ community as Spider-man.

Goes to pride events in his suit, makes posts on social media in support, and maybe even adds a small rainbow pin to his suit.

If the kid doesn't cut it out he'll teach them a lesson.

Hobie Brown

He went into your workplace one day to visit you during your shift.

He heard your coworker make a homophobic remark.

Descrimination is a no no in his book (obviously)

When your shift is over he confronts the person and tells them to cut the shit.

If they somehow didn't find him intimidating enough he looks into their life a little.

Finds out their info and keeps an eye on them.

Does everything he can to absolutely ruin their life.

While Hobie isn’t against getting his hands dirty he also has friends who have way lower standards with causing pain.

Don’t question it if one day your coworker shows up with a black eye.

Or never shows up again.

He’ll take you out for a fun night and reminds you that you deserve love and being queer doesn’t change that.

november most popular: jackjoke and the confession of the year favorite: i'm doing three this time because this is my post and i make the rules. #1 is akk(ayan) x beginner's guide to destroying the moon (flash warning). this set ended up being less than the sum of its parts but i really like some of the components, like the shifting letters in the first gif and the the text illuminated by akk's lighter. #2 is jackjoke evil parallels because sets like this are very darkly fun for me to make and nothing fuels me like the 'sick and twisted' tags i get. and #3 is the sign rainbow because it's the first rainbow set i've made and i really like the way it turned out.

december most popular: style tormenting fadel in the kitchen. one of my better colorings i think favorite: gotta be ray x black box warning (flash warning). another set that was just fucking fun to make, the ideas just flowed so easily. and i love how it turned out. also honorable mention to this hope moment that changed my life. not many people felt the same way apparently but this set has a million notes. to me

Regressors Riley Andersen and Emotions Headcanons (Inside Out)

Suggested by anon; they didn’t specify a character, and I had ideas for both Riley and the emotions, so… Ya get both! 😁

Riley

Riley learns to love San Francisco, but she still misses her life in Minnesota. She finds that when she’s especially missing her old life, she starts acting like a much younger kid. At first she’s confused and a bit embarrassed, but when she tells her parents, they reassure her that if it helps her to feel better, it’s okay. After that she feels more comfortable about her regression and starts to truly enjoy it.

At first, before she knows about what regression is, she calls it “San Francisco preschool”; she loved her preschool in Minnesota, and she’s re-exploring some of that joy and security in her new town.

She’s rather clumsy when she’s regressed, often ending up with scratches and covered in rainbow bandaids.

She loves skating and hitting the puck around, but she doesn’t have the attention span to actually play hockey.

She’s extra silly, making ridiculous jokes and acting completely goofy.

She LOVES drawing, and the fridge is completely covered in pictures.

Her absolute favorite regression foods are dino nuggets and ice cream.

She is CONSTANTLY singing. Little Riley has a song for absolutely any situation.

She’s a pretty sensitive kiddo; it doesn’t take much to make her cry. Fortunately, it also doesn’t take much to cheer her up again.

She doesn’t like to tell people about her regression, but she does want a friend to play with. As it turns out, another girl on her hockey team also regresses and is very open about it, and she and Riley become regression buddies.

Riley’s mom and dad completely encourage play dates and nurture the heck out of both girls.

The Emotions regress in order to help Riley regress, and while they mostly embody different parts of her regression, they do have a few traits Riley doesn’t.

Joy

She is the hyperest kiddo that has ever lived, constantly bouncing and running and playing and laughing. Every once in a while she collapses in a nap, but then she’s right back to being a wild child.

She’s super excitable. Absolutely everything is amazing to her, everything is cool, everything is fascinating. She just loves the whole world!

She is VERY bossy of the other emotions, even more so than she usually is. She wants everything to be exactly “right” at all times, and only her definition of right will do.

She loves playing games. Any game at all is fun for her!

She frequently calls up specific memories and plays alongside the memory version of Riley.

Sadness

She is the “oldest” out of the emotions, and tends to look after the others to a certain extent.

She experiences verbal shutdown when she’s regressed.

She is the biggest napper out of everyone. She can doze off anywhere.

She’s very cuddly and loves to snuggle the others.

She really doesn’t care about playing, but she likes to line toys up and admire them.

Fear

For Fear, being regressed means seeing everything as an even greater threat. Being small and helpless means absolutely anything could be dangerous!

But, on the other hand, being regressed means he’s especially trusting and so can be calmed down much more easily. If the others tell him something is safe, he’ll believe them almost immediately.

He LOVES to be swaddled. Being wrapped up is one of the most calming experiences for him.

 He also likes being talked to. The subject doesn’t matter, he just finds voices soothing.

He surrounds himself with familiar items and finds a lot of comfort in identifying them and exploring their textures.

Disgust

She is SUPER bratty, and very demanding. You never need to wonder whether she likes something because she’ll tell you if she doesn’t.

(On a related note, she’s the pickiest eater out of the group.)

Despite her brattiness, she actually needs a lot of reassurance. She feels really self-conscious about regressing and needs to be told frequently that it’s okay, she’s still the coolest, etc.

She is the most fixated on having regression gear. The others could take or leave pacifiers and bibs, but for Disgust, it’s VITAL she “looks the part”.

She loves to tease the others, especially Anger.

Anger

He’s the biggest mischief kiddo. He loves making messes and playing tricks.

His absolute favorite activity is building towers and knocking them down - but he gets enraged if they fall before he’s ready.

The biggest advocate for fairness - and by “biggest” I really mean “loudest”. Even if it’s a situation where he gets the better deal, he’ll yell “THAT’S NOT FAIR!” and correct it.

Out of the emotions, he’s the one who most enjoys playing by himself. He’s not interested in any group games.

It actually takes a lot to get him into full tantrum mode, but when he gets there, watch out. Endless screaming, throwing things, fire everywhere - it’s a lot.
