My engagement with tiktok is exclusively the 10min meme compilations on youtube I watch with my partner before bed. But if its the same as the depictions on here of a teenage Remus who is tall, muscular, dark and sorta grumpy/cocky looking... with a skinny, pale, manic pixie Sirius covered in cutsey muggle tattoos...

...I don't recognize these people. Whatever fanfic or AU it is from... I just assume its a really specific re-imagining...? To the point where I question how much can even be called 'Remus' or 'Sirius' anymore. And that's being flattering. I don't understand it so I don't engage with it, apart from reblogging the occasional pretty fanart.

They are both OOC - and not in interesting ways. I love headcanons. Exploring a character so hard that they don't look the same anymore, because they take on different forms, for different situations... I'll never fault people for having fun like that. You know how there's like... 10,000 different Sans Undertales? They typically still feel like Sans. I like the one where Sans and Papyrus swap personalities, and the one where the monsters are 'more evil' - and more red.

That doesn't mean it can't be done in a way that's boring and lame, that is less exploration of a character and more a destruction. Personally - this version of Sirius and Remus is boring and lame.

I don't understand why they have scattered muggle tattoos. There are 100 ways you could imagine the Wizarding World having cool tattoos... or at LEAST better designed muggle tattoos? Movie Sirius has these chunky amateur looking runes on his body, like he drew them himself with his finger... but fanon Sirius, and sometimes Remus, look like a kids gone crazy with a ballpoint pen - and not in a way that adds childish teenage character. In a way that looks like they've been scrolling pintrest. It sucks the individuality and character OUT of them. Makes them look like a sample book. You could give Sirius a really cool looking sleeve that incorporates his interests and personality in a tight, unique pattern... or you could draw a bunch of disjointed icons and words.

I don't understand why they often have cigarettes. Why cigarettes? Snuff, chew, hookah, cigars, pipes... ANYTHING you could imagine with a wand or magical tool - but they use cigarettes specifically...? Like... I don't HATE it... There is character, story and interest you could add via habits. But it's not used like that. It's used as short-hand for 'sexy rebels'.

Why is Remus so stern? Why is Sirius a manic pixie dream girl? How do these boys grow up into the men we can recognize...? Or... is the world so different that every narrative thread is snapped? In which case: Why are they Remus and Sirius? Whats the point?

It's like the passably-drawn porn that is just a stock position with two characters put in it - but doesn't resemble their personalities or mannerisms at all. Yknow what im talking about ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) It's hard to have an opinion about that other than 'thats not them.' You wanna see Whitebeard fucking Nico Robin? And Nico Robin has an expression she'd never pull? And Whitebeard is like 6ft tall - instead of 22ft tall? But they're doing reserve cowgirl, if you're into that. ...They're just filling the roles of 'masculine dom' and 'feminine sub'. If that's what people wanna do... ok. They can have fun. I just wish it was tagged it as whatever AU or fanfic its based on rather than just the character names.

Dystopian Omegaverse AU: Suppressants and Medicine

Suppressants and Medicine are made by the Ministry of Pharmaceuticals, led by Senator Placido Marchesi. The suppressants and medicine are highly important for maintaining a positive mood for all ranks. The citizens start taking them at age five. The suppressants and medication are non-addictive and harmless. Delta Minuses, mainly female, aid in the management and distribution of suppressants and medicine. Each rank has its own based on color and shade. They have nine distinctive appearance types. They are a fish egg-like soft gel pill, a pastille for children, an elixir-like drink, an ointment, a dissolving film, a tablet, a transdermal patch, a serum via injection, and gas via an inhaler.

In General

Pax- An off-white pill that is used for agitation, vertigo, muscle spasms, stiffness, and seizures. It is available for all ranks and it helps to suppress some natural instincts to prevent disorder.

Alphas

Rut Suppressant/Alizone- A silver pill meant to stop ruts in Alpha, mainly unmated, whenever an unmated Omega is around.

Height Suppressant/Topivid- A charcoal tablet that originated from the pills for Alphas in general, where some pills are to stop Alpha’s genitalia from growing inhumanely large. This was created because there were some cases Omegas nearly died or passed out during the consummation with an alpha who had inhumanely large genitalia or stamina.

“Mistress”/Diclotide- A mist-like gas that Alphas would inhale via a hookah, pipe, or cigar. It gives a calming and hallucinogenic effect on the user. Only Titanium-level visitors have access to this.

Deltas

Tutis- A mint green pill that prevents Delta Plus’ aggression from getting worse. Their Gamma Plus spouses would give them whenever there’s an event with other Delta Pluses.

Cafepine- An kelp green film that Delta Minuses take that gives them more energy while preventing their aggression from increasing.

Betas

Cafepine- An kelp green film that Delta Minuses take that gives them more energy while preventing their aggression from increasing.

Aquacor- A teal blue ointment that reduces pain, insomnia, fatigue, and anxiety. It also gets rid of acne, dry and itchy skin, and blackheads. These are used on massages and skin treatments.

Congruo- A sky-blue pill that calms Betas down and relieves stress. There would be Congruo dispensaries in malls, studios, schools, and offices. They can also exist as pastilles for Beta pups.

Gammas

Pudicus/Blitz- A weak heat suppressant only meant for Gamma Plus and some Gamma Minus. It looks like a magenta elixir and would often be taken at the beginning of the day.

Optiprex/Grape- A grape color pill used for leisure and relaxation. Gamma Pluses would take them before their recreation sessions and Gamma Minuses would take them at the breaking of their breaks or after a day of work.

Ibutrim/Frenzy- A strong aphrodisiac medicine that exists either as a gas via incense, injection, or elixir. They come in a Chinese violet color. They are primarily used in the Pleasure Venues for the Gamma Minuses and their clients. Though, there are times when they are used in the Hunting Meadows and Alphas and Delta Pluses Households.

Omegas

Omegas are not allowed to have suppressants but are given three medicine to improve their mood and livelihood.

Alferiva/Mist- A poppy red elixir that is used for aromatherapy. It would help them to remain docile and in bliss. Their aroma lamp would be red with various different styles.

Brimodocin/Frost- A cherry blossom ointment that has a mint feeling. It relieved stress, fades away stretch marks, improves post-partum care, and soothes roughness from breastfeeding.

Clintate/Bliss- A chocolate cosmos antidepressant pill that is given to “tamed” Omegas. It helps them to block away “painful” thoughts and “traumatic” experiences from the Droughtlands.

Pups

Decinam Abatasonide/Sooth- A white oral ointment that helps soothe teething among pups.

Penimane/Jiggy- A white pastille that helps pups to be in bliss and allows them to be more focused on their rank. It can also be in elixir form to mix onto their drinks. This is a part of the female Delta Minus training where they provide jiggies to other pups.

Droughters

Fizz- A light orange injection that Droughters would have. It functions similarly to cocaine. In the Savage Zoos and Menegeries, they are given clean needles.

Boom- An inhalant via water pipe that Droughters use. It functions similarly to heroin. The water pipes are orange with “savage” decorations, such as feathers and beads.

Tourists

Supernova- A yellow psychoactive pill that tourists are given. It functions similarly to Pax and Congruo. It is only available to Gold, Diamond, and Titanium-level tourists. It can also be available in a gas form and can be inhaled via a hookah.

Dystopian Omegaverse AU: Alpha Household

Overview

The Alpha household is not only a house but also its residing family and the system meant to help them. These houses were built after the war as a part of the Reconstruction Era of Sol Fertilis when the majority of all buildings were rebuilt by the Ministries of Housing and Urban Planning. All of the Alphas are entitled to live in a mansion with servants. Each room has a function to ensure the perfect development as overseen by the Ministry of Marriage & Family. The Shrine has a special function as seen by the Church of Cilistinu.

Pledges

This is the pledge an Alpha has taken when they introduce their newlywed Omega to their house.

"I will always love and protect my Omega

I will never use violence on my Omega and pups

I will promise to allow my Omega to have martial freedoms

I will use my authority to benefit my household and council

I will remain faithful to my Omega and loyalty to Sol Fertilis”

This is the pledge an Omega has taken when they officially become a part of the household

Rooms

In General

Master Bedroom: The Master Bedroom is the most sacred part of the household due to it being not only where the Alpha and Omega sleep but also where Consummation and Mating Ceremonies are held. The bed size must be at least a King size, though larger sizes are available. There must be two nightstands, one for each side, two wardrobes, two lamps, and a lectern with the Book of Mars Sol.

Kitchen: The kitchen is where the food is being cooked. Only the Gamma Minus cooks are to work there. Omegas are not allowed to cook.

Pantry: This is the storage area for food. This is where pups can access the snacks, mainly from the Muffin Man and Baker’s Dozen.

Dining Room: This is where the family eats every evening. It is prepared by the cooks to nourish the family and present the prosperity of the household. Titanium-level visitors are allowed to dine with them.

Shrine: The Shrine is a sacred closet in the Household that the Omega has to maintain. It contains the Book of Vesta Luna,  relics, pictures of the family and its extended relatives, an altar, and offerings, such as fruits and bread. It is a religious duty that the Omega must do to ensure blessings in the household and pray once daily.

Living Room: It is the only room in the Household where the family can socialize with each other without worry. They can watch movies and shows, play approved games, have conversations, and plan for family outings. No visitor is allowed to enter as it is guarded by two Delta Minuses. There are two main chairs with a sofa. A black formal armchair for the Alpha and a red Gainsborough chair for the Omega. 

Parlour Room: It is the formal reception room where visitors and guests can be entertained and meet with the family.

For Alphas

The Black Cabinet: It is the personal office of the Household’s Alpha. It has a desk with a chair, a few chairs, lamps, three signal bells for Beta Neutrals, Minuses, and Gamma Minuses, a computer, a laptop, and a radio for news. It also has the Books of Mars Sol. An assistant would be there as well.

The Library: It is the personal library for the Alphas living in the household. Other ranks, including Omegas, are not allowed to enter. 

The Onyx Room: It is a dark andron room with Alphas would reside and rest. Omegas are not allowed to enter there. All of the furniture is in various shades of black and gray. There is a TV, radio, hookahs, suppressants, board games like chess and checkers, and alcohol. The Alpha’s staff and Titanium-level visitors are allowed to be there.

For Omegas

The Rose Room: It is a red boudoir where Omegas would reside and rest. Alphas are not allowed to enter there. All of the furniture is in various shades of red and pink, hence the name. There is a television and radio for them. They are only connected to Red channels. The TV channels are their county’s Local News Central, or LNC, an Omega hobbyist channel known as Ruby Crafts, an Omega kids channel known as Blush Kids, and an entertainment channel known as Tea Rose Entertainment. The same goes for their radio. The channels are Fuchsia Music, which is a music channel only for Omegas, and Apple Eats, which is a lifestyle radio channel. There is nothing to tune through channels. There is an aroma lamp with Mist, a dispensary for Bliss, a tray of ladyfingers, a tablet to contact their personal shopper and chauffeur, a cabinet with decorative art supplies, and appropriate games such as Uno. The Omega’s personal staff are allowed to be there. 

For Pups

Nurseries: The nurseries are the bedrooms for young pups. They are in two different rooms. One for Alpha pups and the other for Omega pups. Each of them has a crib, a rocking chair, a nursing pillow, a changing table, a baby monitor, and a dresser. The Alpha nursery is a gray room with black furniture, where there’s a bookshelf, complex games, a gray radio, and a gray toy chest. The Omega nursery is a pink and vermilion room with a pink/vermilion toy chest, a pink/vermilion radio, and extra bedding and pillows. They are not allowed to have a bookshelf. As they grow older, some of the furniture would get either removed or replaced. Once they reach adulthood, their room is no longer a Nursery but a bedroom. The furniture would be stored away until a new baby is born. 

Home Classroom: It is a learning hall meant to cater to both Alpha and Omega pups. A governess would teach them the functions of their roles and help condition them. When the pups get older, a tutor will be sent to assist them with their higher education. 

Playroom: It is the room where the pups, including the young staff and the servants’ children, can play. Children of Titanium-level visitors can play there as well.

For Staff

Delta Mobile Homes: These are smaller movable homes for Delta Minuses. They can live here until they are married to a Beta Plus, where they can move into approved housing close to the Household. 

Beta Cottages: These are cottages that are a part of the Household, where Beta Neutrals and Minuses live. Once they are married, their Gamma Minus spouse can live with them. 

Gammas’ Quarters: These are the apartment-like area located within the Household. The Gammas’ Hall is the common room where they all meet. Primarily, unmarried Gamma Minuses live there.

For Guests

Guest Room: Each Household must have at least three guest rooms. They must be in a golden colors.

Guest House: For some Alpha Households, there would be a cottage for the guests.

Personal Brewery: It is a small brewery for the Household, mainly for the Alphas and guests. It is managed by an alewife from a church.

Personal Shopper: Gamma Minus, shops for the Omega in luxury malls, communicate with them through the tablet and makes suggestions for them. They are only allowed to have cards with the pre-approved amounts of Novas.

For pups

Governess: Female Delta Minus, assists young pups in their education

Nanny: Female Gamma Minus, usually older, helps the Omega in raising the young pups, never allowed to take more than a third of the childcare

Tutor: Male or Female Beta Neutral, assists older pups in their education

Nursery maid: Female Gamma Minus, cleans the nursery and rearrange it

Between maid: Young female Beta Neutral, works Omega pups with time management and entertain them whenever they got bored

Flower girl: Young female Beta Minus, helps Omega pups with getting flowers

Tea Girl: Young female Gamma Minus, helps Omega pups with getting snacks, toys, and games, often plays with them

Lackey: Young male Delta Minus, plays with the Alpha pup, able to endure rough play
