Hey out there, FNAF fandom! I’ve had this sitting in my drafts for months now, but I wanted to finally introduce ya’ll to my designs for the Afton family (based heavily in many of the FNAF official arts, but with a few unique twists, and in my own style, plus my OC on the second from the right, whom I’ll talk about another time.)

I also made a version without my OC, for ya’ll canon-only Afton family lovers:

I could talk a lot more about this painting, but I’ll probably get into it later, instead. lol

'Smash' Cake!!!!

Sooooo, my friend texts me at way-too-late-o'clock last night, and asks me if I've seen the smash cake trend, where you put celebrity crushes/fictional crushes on a cake, and thus, it's a smash cake. What is the most batshit gift you could make up for a vampire or hybrid?

You can take ANYONE you want regardless of anything like oh they never interacted like that DOESN'T. matter!

Just anyone you want to build the ultimate gift in ten generations or less. (I'm a sims player btw that's why that generation number is so high)

I feel he already exists, his name is Afton, his gift is he's invisible if you don't look at him. Can't improve upon that.

If you put a gun to my head, though...

Alistair and Siobhan combine forces (unclear how exactly since she's infertile) to create a tracker who can find people if he has no intention of finding them and in fact wasn't looking to find them. He'll just turn around and whoever is standing in front of him must be who he was looking for.

He reasons the universe must have led him to this point in the time-space continuum for a reason and every encounter has a deeper, mystical meaning to it.

"I'm a cosmic tracker," he says to anyone who asks.

So, after seeing this post by @the-most-pathetic-edge-marquis, I ended up going through the Illustrated Guide a bit more thoroughly to look at the ages of all the Twilight Vamps when they were turned. It's a bit creepy honestly, and the woman the woman is for sure not trying to hide her knks with these mostly teenagers. 

And i dunno, quick fic info sheet if it helps anyone 🤷‍♀️

Victoria – Born in the 1550s, transformed late 1560s, at around 18.

James – Born around 1780, turned around 1805, making him about 25. 🚩

Laurent – DOB 1700s, turned around 1740s at about 40.

There is not really any info on the girl’s mother, Sasha, that isn’t in the books, but the immortal child, Vasilii, she created was 3.

Aro – Ok, so the guide says ‘Born around 1300 BC’ and ‘Transformed around 1260 BC’ But at the bottom of the same page says he was ‘transformed in his mid-20’s’ so ????

Marcus – ‘Transformed before he was 20’ But at the top of the page has his DOB as ‘Around 1350 B.C’ and his date of transformation ‘Unknown’… Like girl can you not do simple math!?

Caius – Late 40’s. But same as Marcus, has a DOB but and unknown date for his transformation.

Sulpicia – Described as a ‘lovely young orphan’ 😶

Didyme – No age, but is younger than Aro.

Athenodora – No real description, was already turned when she met Caius.

Alec – 12 or 13

Jane – 12 or 13

Tia – As a human, she was 3 years younger than Benjamin. But she was turned 5 years after him when she was 17. They are also distantly related. Because of course they are 🥴

Siobhan – Born around 1490, turned around 1510, at approximately 20.

Maggie – Born 1832, turned 1847, also 15! 👶

If Alistar and Bella had an offspring, what would the gift outcomes look like?

jhskajlghsjfan are we doing vampire superpower selective breeding today?? I feel like I keep seeing asks about gifts passed down through generations.

I guess Alistair and Bella both have "don't look at me" powers, so maybe some type of invisibility, like Afton's gift? a more physical shield, or even an ability to disappear off radar or scramble technology? there are lots of possibilities tbh.

but also...while canon implies that some gifts are hereditary, it also outright states that gifts are a more intense and literal manifestation of a person's strongest personality traits as a human. those things don't necessarily go together, IMO! sure, bella is implied to have inherited her gift from her dad (and Reveille from her grandmother) but charlie could just as easily have had a super extroverted daughter, or one who was really outdoorsy and had a knack for hunting/tracking/fishing, or literally anything. personally, if I were writing some kind of next-gen OC, I wouldn't limit myself to versions of their parents' gifts.

Lore Below The Cut! 📌

Anna and Liam are Madonna and Alistair’s kids (per canon), and our tragic little tale of woe begins when Liam Mysteriously Disappears. Liam was known for being a rebellious child, so at first everyone thought they had simply run away...But the way the couple was acting in the aftermath had some of the neighbors raising eyebrows--Madonna was making a spectacle of her grief, while Alistair stood silently nearby, almost looking...defeated. it was very odd behavior for parents who's kid was only reported missing.

Suspicions only heightened when their other kid later died in a Freak Accident. Not much information on the case was disclosed made available to the public, since the files had been sealed. They just know it involved her "tampering" around with some of the animatronic parts the family kept in the basement.

Maddie was one of the neighborhood kids who was close friends with the both of them growing up. Strangely enough, she also went missing. Its spectated by a few that she might’ve seen something she shouldn’t have.

There’s a pretty substantial time skip that happens here, ultimately culminating in the Pizzeria being shut down (TL;DR Alistair goes missing after Going off The Shits making robotic replicas of his kids and their dead friend and without him, the business just kind of fell apart).

Tavy is the security guard. At least...At first. He used to go to the pizzeria all the time as a kid and when he saw the job ad he immediately applied.

And…well. It’s FNAF. You know how it goes 💀.

Their brains all got a little scrambled egg post death and how much comes back depends on the person. Right after is probably the most Blank Slate things get though. Gotta give them a few days to cook.

Liam and Maddie pretty much have a handle on things at this point. Liam remembers but is driven by rage and vengeance and sometimes that makes them forget. Per usual, Maddie is the most well-adjusted of the bunch. Meanwhile Anna is over there forgetting she used to be a person half the time (something something getting your frontal lobe bitten out has ramifications post-death 🤭).

Hi Vinelle!
