Tessa Ralston has spent five years investigating cold cases while following the trail of the killer that took the life of her police partner in Denver. When a tip comes in that Deke will be in Denver, she soon flies out of Wisconsin to Denver hoping to bring Deke Mitchell to justice. Detective Ian Sullivan is eagerly waiting for Tessa’s arrival as he still has feelings for her and hopes they might get a second chance for a HEA. First, though, they have a killer to find and bring to justice…if they can.

 RESCUE – HERO STYLE by Rebecca Zanetti

Ella Riverton is getting over Caden Scott at the Cattle Club when he reappears. Caden has determined that Ella and he are meant to be together and is ready to make it happen only to have Deke and his criminal cohort show up in town, make life more difficult and put Ella at risk. In this one I became curious about the men who run the Cattle Club and wondered if Ms Zanetti might have a series out about them in the future.

 ONE LAST KISS by Kat Martin

This starts out as a lost/spoiled little rich girl being sent to learn what is important by working to inherit what her uncle has for her. It sounded familiar and I felt I had read it before, and I had. It was just as good this time as the last and saw Libby remembering parts of her past while learning what she really valued in life as she fell in love with Sam Bridger. In this novella the remaining bad guys are finally receive their comeuppance with the aid of some interesting characters that I would gladly read about in spinoff stories of their own.

 The three stories segue together nicely with a satisfying conclusion and all three stories in the collection were a joy to read.

My favourite reads from December

Ok so this list is shorter mostly because a lot of the stuff I read were sort of 3-star reads. You enjoy it enough but really forgetful or you know you enjoyed some of it but not everything in the story.

- American Gods I love to re-read and cannot recommend this enough to fantasy book fans seriously go and read iiiiiit !!!

- Court Of Blood & Binding - read this early in the month but i loved it especially for a book 1 of a fantasy series. Yep it was so so good!! Book 2 has its problems but this was really good.

- Vampires never get old - hmm I love a good short story and almost anything with vampires so this was win win !!!

- One Down - One of Alexandra Ivys better paranormal stories and the pacing is perfect especially the insta-lust which almost screeched to a halt but I loved this !!

- A Mate for York - This claims to be vampires x humans but feels more like the old alien-porn of the 2000s and it was seriously hot. A very light plot and heavy on the sexy times type of book but I love it for what it is. Quick light fun !!

- Bound & Barbed - Ahhh Vampires x Humans so I knew this was a trilogy when I got book 1 (2 books out of 3 are released) but the comments/reviews sold me on it and the start? Chefs kiss !! The middle was also great (where I find most books usually fall apart) but the ending? It annoyed me in a very 2000/2010 kinda way but I enjoyed 90% of this book so it’s included in my most favourite books of December (not least!) because the ending aside I did really love this book!!

Color whell Challenger - Soul Calibur VI

This is a challenge I did in watercolors with the girls from Soul Calibur 6, which is exclusive to my Twitter account that I made at the end of August, (Link below at the end of the description)

Although this challenge is done in digital drawing, my digital art leaves a lot to be desired and I am better painted in watercolors, because of that I painted each character with the most prominent color in them in SC6.
