Do you think any of the next Gen kids have mental health disorders? (Alex, The triplets, etc?) Given the time I imagine undiagnosed but y'know
Well, for one thing, the triplets are autistic, although that’s more neurological. They’re all different flavors of autism sure, but they all have a lot of the really classic ASD signs, even from early childhood.
They all handle it a different way, and have varying strengths, weaknesses, sensory issues, social skills, and symptoms, but Henry and Charlotte have no problem handling it, probably because they got the ‘tism directly from their father LOL.
Alexander has definitely got a bit of OCD. He isn’t outwardly anxious, but he deals with this ever present fear that awful things are going to happen to everyone he loves, and the actual bad things that have happened really don't help that fear.
He sometimes feels like he was the one who should have died, since he was so young and people would “miss him less.”  He also feels bad he doesn't remember his brother, because he really doesn't. Alex was only three when Christopher died, and Anna is really the only sibling he has ever known.
His brain gets really stuck on the idea that Peter is going to die, it’s going to be all his fault, and people won’t remember his best friend, and he’ll be all alone. Then what will he do??? How would he honor his friend, how would he fill Peter’s brilliant shoes, how would he live with himself? He used to worry that Peter would get bored of him and leave, but he actually calmed that fear down pretty quickly. He really does trust Peter, who is always happy to slowly break down his worries and help soothe them.
They spend plenty of time sitting in quiet rooms at night, going through everything Alexander is afraid of, everything he knows isn’t true, but he just needs to get out.
He’s got a couple of the classic OCD traits to, opening and closing his door four times before leaving it shut, clicking lights on and off, but it’s not necessarily horrifically intrinsic.
He’s got it pretty well under control in the modern day though. He knows how loved he is, does some meditating, and stays out of situations he knows will stress him out.

Uncle Andy AU @nicascurls @fairchilds-glasses
*Bullying Prevention Day at school*
Miss Fairchild: Junior, what would you do if one of your classmates viciously teased you again and again?
Junior: Oh, that’s easy. I’d take a pencil out of my pencil case—
Miss Fairchild: To write something to your teacher?
Junior: —make sure that it’s really sharp, and ram it into their eye at full tilt! My uncle Andy always says the pencil is mightier than the sword because they can’t outlaw bringing pencils to school!
Miss Fairchild: *internal screaming*

"well, look what we have here." dontaz snorted under his breath as he crossed his arms, eyebrows raising as his eyes raked over the other, disdain obvious on his face. "they're just letting anyone come to these things, aren't they? i figured they would have been better at vetting through everyone in attendance."

“The Mother of All Jams”
“Here is the mother of all Jams!! Two years in the making for me after Wizard gave up,lol. Wizard wanted to do a special anniversary piece for the magazine so they got George Perez to do the layouts on most and then sent the piece all over the world to get all the star artists to do their key characters they were most associated with. The project kept getting held up and it was just too much trouble to get it completed. There are almost 150 characters in this mammoth Jam Poster Illustration.I love how the whole piece has direction. All the characters are either moving right on their respective side, left, or right in front of ya.
We have here..
Full figure pencil and inks of Spawn and Spiderman by Todd Mcfarlane. There is no other piece to my knowledge that has spidey and spawn hand drawn by Todd on the same board. They have a combined image of 11x11in with that incredible spaghetti webbing.
Alex Ross- Superman
Travis Charest- Grifter
Jim Lee/Scott Williams- Batman
George Perez-Wonder woman, Starfire, Scarlet Witch, Beast, and the Thing
Erik Larsen-Savage Dragon
Danger Girl, Fairchild, Grunge, Roxie, Burnout, and Rainmaker are all by J. Scott Campbell
Then I had David Finch do everyone else over George Perez's layouts. It is huge, 23X39in
David Finch is one of my favorite artists out there today and it was an honor to have him finish this incredible piece of history. Parts of it were published in a 1990's Wizard Magazine.”
