It was certain that the Gokou would deploy their agents to regain this Curse Tool,the “Box of transformation”.Now with the whole Fight nanoka chan is in feral mode ,and she gives the chills.

However about how much are Maonoka sufficient when they’re up against these two Tough agents?Renji of the Intence hatred and Firebugs user,Sagusa User of the Water.

Rumiko's Word about Nanoka:)

On the start of the week Rumiko sama outlines her protagonist Girl of MAO:Kiba Nanoka.

"Nanoka had a terrible accident when she was young and lost both of her parents, but I also like that she hasn't lost her positivity. She's in that kind of situation so she doesn't force herself to try to be cheerful, and I think she's a cheerful girl at heart." -Rumiko Takahashi.

My say:Nanoka chan is a strong girl,cool,sweet and Original.Cause she's really new,an innovation in manga.She's also good one how she interacts with these centuries old,Immortal Onmyoji:Mao,Hyakka,Kamon, and Natsuno.

A Good win for Maonoka

It's so refreshing what they achieved,in chapter 140. For the first time they managed to destroy a Curse tool of the Gokou! They distroyed a Curse tool of the Gokou!!

Plus it's Good because they cooperated well too:)

Nanoka chan,you’re Great.

Nanoka han has evolved from “I am weak,I can’t do a thing” to seriously say “Souma,To someone the likes of you I won’t loose”!

I see it’s Great they foiled Souma’s mission,his irritation is obvious:).

Just to be Stronger on an other field:She has to learn and master the Techniques and Spells,before kagari gets back.

In chapter 128 Nanoka seems being Sure to use the Onmyodo gestures and techniques.That’s the Wright thing when She’s Serious to assist Mao and all her friends.Yes,from the first time she sta to learn the gestures to now she;s unfolding her Potential.She’s getting Stronger,much more than  the times she  cried “waaah I can't do anything!" [Below:Chapter 101]

Plus that Mao has warmed up to her,he consideres her opinion and her feelings.If he would’ve a shielding attitude on her that would be taxing,and he can’t refuse her vital assistance in the various battles.[Below:The man kindly smiles to her]

I am Curious;Does this chapter is just a break from the arc,or there’s something else? Such as connected with the Gokou? By a first glance I see this House being Creepy(: How did Rumiko sama did this is Awesome.

The Weird Abilities of Akanemaru katana.

I noticed something on the wakizashi Katana Nanoka yields, Akanemaru.

When it first appears it seems alike an ordinary knife.Is it really so?

But shortly after passing into Nanoka's hand there's a significant twist:It brought up a bumper. Or should I state it generated (the bumper)!

Blacksmith Meimeidou gave a wise piece of advice to Her, about how to Master it. I'm confident that Nanoka is gaining control on Akanemaru.

Facing the Cursed Deity.

Nanoka chan up against th Cursed God.She’s Having in Mind the lessons from Natsuno,and the ceramic bell attached on Akanemaru.

The current Ominous Case,where Maonoka came to investigate,turns out more than they Anticipated.

The Mask of Jugdement(a Gokou Curse Tool) is a Fire generator,stronger than the Genbu beast(:

What will Nanoka chan do?  How will they make it out of this?And it’s not only the Hair-Raising.How will they save the People,from this so Evil man? And ironically,nearby the two agents of the Gokou are watching.Waiting for Mao to win for them.Irony cause with no sweat then they would  get the Mask,and bring it to Shiranui.

Such Anxiety,perils too.

I don’t know how will the current MAO arc go.Nanoka chan began as saying herself "i'm weak! I can't fight!". After so many adventures she tells with confidence "I won't lose to you!".I Love that.What about the Needles and Curses user Kagari? What are the Overall Purposes of this Arc? As far as I can tell the one is:

Getting the insights of the Hoshou family,particularly Kagari’s ambition to rise as Curse user. And Rude feelings she has on others.Nanoka notices this Rude side of her personality,now she resents her in greater degree than before. Mao didn’t aniticipate Kagari’s abrupt charge.Nanoka didn’t challenge her to this fight.What if Our Girl lose to Her?What’s the point if She gets beaten by her?

Btw as a simple joke(if it really is):The hem of Kagari’s blouse goes under the waist.Bad way wearing the clothes(: Why didn’t see herself in the mirror,how bad she looks?

 This aside:Nanoka should’ve grabbed this book from Kagari’s hands,disarming her that would be so Effective.Things are so Perilous.

Certainly the body blow is Serious,but Inadequate to put her down.

Oh Man!..

As Kagari approaches the client,to find out who interefered,she hears who are they:Maonoka.As they go to an appointment for healing a centipede now Nanoka and Otoya are under the Attack of Kagari,her say is a revelation of the reason.

”THE POINT IS:If I defeat Mao I’ll let know which of us is really Better! Now then,do lead me to Him”!Now the Battle begun

While it’s real Good she masters Akanemaru she didn’t figure:She ought to have grabbed the Book out of her hands.No point ever for your enemy to retreat with out casualties,no point ever to assume you’ve won yet!

Kagari uleashes Paper Spirit Dolls to subdue Nanoka,they hit her. I’ll be mad if she'll be a hostage.It will suck if by any way,Kagari wins over Maonoka(: We’re Anxious,we’re really holdind our breath.

Will we see them?

The two orphan boys form the arc with Natsuno are good.Yes these Nanoka protected them:)They’re minor characters,and Good too.Will we see them again some time?

Nanoka has gone from thinking that she’s a “frail, sick bodied, little girl”–to a Badass with a Blade.”Souma,to someone like you I Won’t lose to”!

To Beat Him.

Rumiko sama really keeps  us in such suspence.It's a reason more why I favor her:)

Recently the Ruthless assassin Renji didn't sweat at all.Having placed tormented fire bugs in Nanoka(to burn her instantly)threatens actually Mao to come along.

To Shiranui's residence.Mao tells Renji that he will come-only if he removes the fire bugs from Nanoka,if not he will kill him.

Renji accepts it and makes the bug leave Nanoka. Mao goes with Renji willingly, but tells Otoya to take care of things. Once he is gone Otoya asks Nanoka to pick up Mao's Hagunsei sword. But suddenly a turtle a turtle floates around the boat,turns into the huge beast Genbu.Which devours the fire bugs.

Renji tries to counterattack Mao. Mao aims to attack Renji's instrument-but the assassin warns him:That he did not take all of the fire bugs out of Nanoka,and if he continues to fight he will kill her.

(The Assassin thought he could prove badass>Lol)

With a single gesture Mao summons a column of water from beneath Renji's boat, trapping him inside and preventing him from strumming his instrument. Mao wonders to himself if he will have to kill Renji in order to save Nanoka.

Pondering

Renji had absolute,tight power on our Friends.He performed a Maximum Pressure on them.Would he really win ? *2

Not that easy!Cause Mao Zedong*1 the well knowing of guerilla warfare quotes:

"Don't squeeze the cat at the corner,persisting so she'll resist by striking on your face.Just cut her some slack".

That's right:If in a war you trap your rival  in a ringer,with Maximum Pressure,you didn't intimidate him.You just pushed him in Determined Resistance(depending on the degree of his High spirit).Now,here the cat is Dr Mao,the Onmyoji and boyfriend of Nanoka chan!

A Solid Win,and a new Danger here.

The new chapter is one of Amazement:

Meimeido listens to the whole incidents,now knows the background of Akanemaru,he offers to Maonoka tips of advices about how she'll tame the katana.That the blade has a connection to Nanoka's blood,so she's to exert her will on it.

Meimedo's wisdom is Great,I guess he's to stay in the series:)

Somewhere far there,in the Life Extension Garden,Souma wakes up,where Hakubi and Mei watch.Hakubi's discontent is Obvious,He could blow his temper and  slap Souma for his failure.But He's certain his pupil will make in a new mission.

Probably he's not suspecting Nanoka's connection with the Byouki.

But a familiar enemy is returning:Renji the assassin has decided to get a Huge fee,by getting Mao and bring Him to Shiranui.. The fishy part:Shiranui tasks him only about capturing Mao,but not a bit about Akanemaru!

They're the Gokou,but He doesn't know about the recent botch. Why isn't he been told about it from Hakubi? I'll share with you later how I ponder about the disorder.

Here where Renji enters to Mao's office,sending the tormented  some fire bugs into Nanoka's ears.He takes her as hostage,with aim to kidnap Mao.

My hunch:The whole reports disorder perhaps will define Renji's failure,cause he comes for one success,unaware how to maximalize it!If he knew about(the katana)he would come to get this,as well.  Plus Nanoka chan isn't a rookie to such dangers.

A point around:Renji doesn’t know how to learn from his mistakes and wrongs.Surely such a ploy(:taking hostages)seems okay to him,albeit it’s tactical element and not strategic. Maonoka will win in this arc.
