Alright, just wanna ask because I'm legit curious and I'm not sure I'm the only delulu one in here... Do you guys also Headcanon animal traits/ quirkys on characters?

Because well...

I have many things to say about our fine gentleman right here.

hi thank you. I have a lot but most of them come from other people, which you've most likely/definitely already seen. or even wrote seeing as there's like 3 🍑📖🦔 shippers. here's a few I came up with myself (I hope...)

some of these aren't of all 3 of them but 🤫

Aizawa sometimes thinks Ide has a terrible sense of fashion (we've all seen the tacky leopard print pants & those awful weirdly patterned grey ones.) He's not much better. Green dress top, brown overcoat, and brown pants? He looks like a dirt block from Minecraft. I'd like to think Matsuda points out his hypocrisy sometimes.

Ide listens to Radiohead & Matsuda makes fun of him for it.

Aizawa & Ide met sometime in college (sorry I'm not a "they met during NPA training" truther.) But with Matsuda, I'd like to think he met Aiza & Ide when he joined the NPA. Of course, they both thought he was a bit... underexperienced, to say the least.

^ I think Aizawa and Ide struggle a bit to help him with this at first. they're all grieving. Half of the NPA is dead. Light was Kira. fuck do they do now? A sad few months, I'm sure. They heal together eventually, although I'm sure one of them will never truly recover.

Here *throws random and actually much more important than I realised at first OC redesign at you after two and a half years since the OG*

Meifeng, Ming-Hua’s cousin! I just randomly remembered that she exists while putting together my OC family tree and since the only art I have of her is… nearly 3 years old and mediocre at best, and Kat and I have recently spent so much time focusing on Red Lotus siblings, I thought “Hey, why not redraw her? Just because she’s a cousin and not a sister doesn’t make her any less special than Lien-Hua, Summiya, Aiza or Haya!” (On that note… Nia give someone a brother challenge. The only one that counts is Aiza and she’s only a brother half the time)

Some headcanons about her, both new and old (the old copy-pasted over and slightly edited to save everyone the second hand embarrassment of going to look at my old art), which will go under the cut because this has gotten LONG:

Old:

Older than Ming-Hua by around 10 years

Her dad is the older half-brother of Ming-Hua's mom who’s… not the most fond of their side of the family

Has never left her home in the Foggy Swamp Water Tribe

Master healer, specialises in children. Can't have any of her own because of the high pollution levels in the swamp which is why she puts all those motherly instincts into teaching and caring for kids

Got a scar on her leg while saving Ming-Hua from some wild swamp creature when the latter was a child who was absolutely convinced she could handle everything herself and never listened to anyone. Ming-Hua still insists she had everything under control that day

She tried to understand Ming-Hua's perspective on things, she really did, but ultimately tribe mentality and fear for her cousin’s safety, believing her not to be nearly as capable as she claims to be, won over

Attempted to stop Ming-Hua from running away but was, obviously, unsuccessful

Was the one consoling Nuying after Ming-Hua left

Helped Suiren learn waterbending and held genuine affection for the girl, although she ultimately refused when Suiren begged for the chance for her and Midori to escape from Haya and live with the tribe. She thought that while Suiren would most likely adjust well, Midori was simply too Gaoling to survive in a place as dark, damp and isolated as the Swamp. She regrets that decision every day since she found out Suiren became an assassin

Mourned Ming-Hua more than anyone else in the tribe when informed of her death

New:

Was the one who babysat Ming-Hua a lot when Nuying was going through one of her depressive episodes after Cadeo left, and Ming-Hua actually enjoyed spending time with her because she was a lot less overbearing and protective than her mother. Was the first person to start calling her Ming. Sometimes Ming-Ming, but Ming-Hua had a tendency to deliver a very hard kick to the shins every time she tried that

Never left Nuying’s side when she got sick in the years following Ming-Hua’s disappearance, no matter how much everyone, including her own father, told her to stay away, there’s nothing she can do to help her. In her final moments, Nuying was delirious with fever and called out for Ming-Hua. Meifeng didn’t have the heart to remind her that her daughter left so instead let her hair down, covered her own hand in water and told Nuying that she was “right here, mom. I’m right here” and stayed like that until Nuying passed

When Ming-Hua returned, Meifeng was the one to break the news to her. Later, when Ming-Hua asked how and when it happened, she couldn’t quite stop herself from snapping at her because she should have been there, Meifeng shouldn’t have had to pretend to be her so her mother could die without worrying about where her daughter was. Their relationship never really fully recovered after that fight

Still, she had met Suiren when she was little on the rare occasions when the Red Lotus passed through the Swamp and Ming-Hua chose to take her daughter to visit the tribe. She never met Midori, but she did see Ming-Hua pregnant with her once

Didn’t know about Ming-Hua’s imprisonment until an 11-year-old Suiren told her because world news don’t reach into the heart of the Swamp. She just thought they had decided to stop visiting. The news crushed her but… a part of her couldn’t help but go “you should have fucking listened to me when I told you to stay, then this wouldn’t have happened”

Her teaching Suiren waterbending involved mostly the basics of combat (she herself doesn’t know much of it since she’s a healer), plantbending and healing. Suiren reached her level of mastery and proficiency as well as figured out icebending on her own through sheer determination and spite (she’s so much like her mama 🥹🥹🥹)

Is the only one from the tribe Suiren had ever confessed to about being an assassin. That knowledge broke her heart and she spent all those years absolutely terrified that Suiren would meet Ming-Hua’s fate. When Suiren stopped visiting at one point (when she left for her mission to kill Kuvira, got injured, recovered at ATI, reunited with her parents, broke Kuvira out and started living with her, etc etc) she had assumed that it really did happen, until Suiren randomly showed up one day with Kuvira in tow (Meifeng did not approve bc of the whole spirit vine thing 😅)

Absolutely reunited with Ming-Hua at some point and it was an extremely emotional moment

Ripped Cadeo a new one when he suddenly appeared looking for his daughter after 45+ years after it became common knowledge that the RL are all alive and no longer wanted by the law

All in all… quite an interesting character that I really should do something with at some point, bc how come Ming-Hua’s family is the only one to get 0 attention in our discussions?? #justiceformeifeng2024

Kousei and Takashi Aiza friendship things?

Thanks for the request! I love doing headcanons for YLIA. :) 

Even though Takeshi loves to trash talk Kousei (while Kousei just laughs because he knows he doesn’t mean it), he will FLIP if anyone else dares to call him the human metronome 

When Emi’s in a tempestuous mood, the two of them bounce ideas off of each other as to what could be wrong with her 

Takeshi always carries painkillers in his bag in case Kousei needs them 

Going to classical music concerts together and fanboying over their idols 

When Kousei isn’t feeling well, Takeshi takes over teaching his piano lessons for a few days 

Kousei invites Takeshi to outings that don’t have to do with music (baseball games, dinners, the movies) because wow, and he thought HE didn't have a life, but Takeshi’s obsession with music is even worse!!!

Kousei giving secret reports to Takeshi about Nagi’s progress bc she’s too shy to tell her brother how it’s going 

Takeshi makes it very clear he wouldn’t trust anyone else with Nagi’s musical development and it’s kinda sweet

Headcanon #001

Aiza the Copperajah

Aiza has been Rose’s companion since he was eleven. Given to him as a birthday gift by his mother, Aiza and Rose are practically inseparable. She accompanied him through his Gym Challenge, and may have been the reason he faced the Champion, had it not been for Sian’s Chandelure. 

She’s more aware of her situation then most think she is, and realized that something wasn’t right with Rose far faster then even he did. 

After Sword and Shield, she was confiscated by the Galarian Police, only to be returned to Rose after his release, at the persuasion of Bede. Since then, the two have only grown closer, and Aiza recently gave birth to a yet unnamed female Cufant. 

Aiza is the mother of the group, and will not hesitate to scoop any of her teammates up, or her trainer for that matter, and dump them into a bed or by food or water. She’s half the reason Rose gets any sleep at all.

TWO HEADCANONS YOU HAVE FOR YOUR MUSE:

Titor always has wires that he has curled up and close to his back. He can use these as either extra tentacle-like limbs or to connect to other magitek. They can be removed if he is using peripherals, but they’re definitely close by in a bag or pocket. 

Titor’s limbs are quite numb. He has some feeling in them, but not very much. He’ll keep this a secret though as he doesn’t want people to question his abilities as a medicus or alchemist. He does, however, heavily rely on visual input for performing complex procedures. 

THREE THINGS THAT YOUR MUSE LIKES DOING IN THEIR FREE TIME:

Processing Data - Even though it’s one of Titor’s primary jobs, he finds it highly amusing and entertaining. It is one of those situations where his work and hobbies overlap

Trying out exotic foods  - Even though Titor does not eat all too much, he absolutely loves trying out exotic and tribal foods. He has a penchant for bitter foods, and finds that Steppe food often incorporates this into their dishes, so he enjoys trying out Steppe food in particular. 

Playing with Morty - Morty is Titor and Dex’s virtual pet. A fat-cat that can show up in augmented reality. Morty is one of Titor’s favorite things, and he could play with the digital feline for hours on end. 

SEVEN PEOPLE THAT YOUR MUSE LOVES/LIKES/RESPECTS:

Dex, Citadel 71( @digitaldisaster-xiv​ )-What turned out to be a frightening attack against him ended up becoming the greatest love of his life. Titor is certain that Dex is his datamate, and they are compatible with each other both as individuals and on a code level.

Drag - Like a brother to him. This Allagan node is always in a cheerful mood and helpful. Titor’s mood is usually lifted after talking with Drag, and Titor is quite concerned about his wellbeing

Kage Krueger - After Kage had inadvertently hacked admin permissions on Titor’s augment, Titor had become rather attached to the man. Titor respects Kage quite a bit and is always looking to please him. Kage’s talks about airships fully pique Titor’s interest.

Aiza Epocan ( @aizaepocan ) - Titor’s previous boss and very good friend. Aiza has always showed such kindness and understanding towards him, and as such, Titor would put his life at risk to protect her in return. 

Lucien kir Korbinius ( @glowinggunmetal ) - This kir definitely deserves a higher rank than he has. After having saved Titor’s life from a few close encounters with viruses and hacking attempts, Titor really owes a life-debt to the man, and hopes that he can repay it someday.

Mahv Kelsin ( @waywardskylarking ) - Although Titor has just recently met the summoner, they seem to get along pretty well. While the egis scare the crap out of him (and Tertius), she seems to be inquisitive enough and he is curious to get to know her more.

Glace/Frost ( @winterdeepelegy )  - Titor has mad respect for Frost and hopes to win his approval someday. Titor wishes he could be more like the man in feelings and judgement, and highly respects and fears the Elezen’s skills and abilities. 

TWO THINGS YOUR MUSE REGRETS:

Not speaking up when he knew an experiment was going to fail.  Back in his early 20′s, he was volunteering as part of a project on time travel. He knew something was off with the calculations, but was assured everything was fine. He felt it, but kept quiet. Everything was not fine, and it ended up destroying the entire lab group as well as himself.

Not being in control of some of his impulses. Titor’s augment will sometimes amplify or reduce emotions or feelings. This can lead to him entering feedback loops during certain occasions. He has ended up hurting some people that he loves, with the primary be going too far and severely damaging Dex. 

A PHOBIA YOUR MUSE HAS:

Agoraphobia - Titor actually has mild fear of open places or places that he can’t easily escape and hide from. The larger the space, the more his calculations go wild and the harder it is to control variables and predict outcomes. He is able to mask it most of the time, but he’ll often feel great anxiety in marketplaces or large events.  (I am excluding water here since it’s less of a phobia and more of a valid concern for him to fear)

Watch Dogs Headcanons - Animal Quirks/ Symbolisms.

Feels like I'm writting a newspaper but nah, just more delulu Aiza journal 😭

Anyways!! Remember when I said I had Headcanons of giving my fav characters animal refs/ symbolisms? Well... Decided to do that today! 🥳

So lemme start with the list! First gonna do with some of the characters from WD1 that got most of my attention/ are more well-known. ( PS: trigger warning for people with Arachnophobia when arriving at Clara's part? Is right under Aiden's, skip if you so wish)

Aiden Pearce - Gray Fox. (Urocyon cinereoargenteus)

Ok, this one is basically common knowledge since we all know that's where his damn nickname comes from lol.

Aiden has a lot of paralels with Gray Foxes, from the round faces, to climbing skills to hunting abilities!

Foxes in general represents Cunniness, Witt, a Sharp Mind and a Dubious Morality with it's Trickstery Nature. However, Gray Foxes represent neutrality, a symbol of maturity, but also sadness and indecisiveness... That sounds familiar, does it? It fits Aiden's description awfully well!

For my HC of his mannerism:

- When Aiden was younger, he used to climb trees all the time back at Belfast. His mom used to yell at him afraid he would fall. ( Wich he did. A lot actually.)

- Like a fox, he has great hearing, detecting easily when people are approaching by.

- He loves fruit (He likes Strawberry Shortcake and Banana Cake) and meat! Although he rarely has time to cook for himself and relies heavily on fast food, he is an enjoyer of chicken and hare meats!

- When Aiden manages to sleep without stress (in very rare occasions), he tend to sleep curled up under his sheets without noticing.

- He has a strong smell. When not because of his constant exercises running after criminals, is because of his wooden deodorant + his trench coat of leather. lol

(Like even after showering, his smell is not bad, just strong than usual.)

- His face is secretly very sensible. If he shaves his face and gets touched their somehow, he'll shiver and recoil bc that's a VERY sensitive face. Even with his stubbles, he can easily feel the texture and touch of someone on his cheeks, like a fox with it's whiskers. 🥺

Clara Lille - Trapdoor Spider! (Liphistius malayanus)

This one is also, once again, common knowledge! I mean, she's called like that in game- lol

Our dear Badboy17, the tattoo girlboss herself, it's pretty obvious where the spider parallels go with Clara: Her lethality, how she work in the dark, carefully using the web in her favor... But is there more to it? 🤔

Spiders represent the Resilience, Unseen Danger and the Connectedness.

All those meanings fit Clara perfect: She's connected to many things, Aiden, the Club, Dedsec... She works in the dark corners, weaving her web of connections and the benefits she can get of it. Similarly, she is an unseen danger, a person that can discover everything about others without them even suspecting, and using that against them... But she's also Resilient. Despite her connections and actions, she weaved her own path to redemption on helping Aiden, to try to fix her mistake and make amends for her past actions... And much like a spider, she was easily killed, because while Spiders are easy to disappear from our sight, people won't think twice about killing them if they're considered a "threat" to them...

For my HC of her mannerisms:

- Clara is excelent with handscraft: Eletronics, Art, Sewing... She's great at anything that requires hand work since she's very precise and perfectionist.

- She's into Urban Exploration! She loves to find dark, abandoned and hidden places left in urban areas, specially if they have some connection to Blume as a bonus.

- One of her favorite foods is Sushi! Is quick, pratical and she just like fishes. (One of Trapdoor Spiders prey 🥰)

- Is not afraid of insects but doesn't like them at all, will either kill or try to take them away from the place, if the insect is harmless.

- Clara has pretty good instinct, mostly reflex in near-body combat, but she rarely displays them since she rarely needs to fight someone nowdays or is caught offguard by gunned opponents.

- She is a solitary person, in the sense that she stays hidden in her little corner and rarely gets out with others, aside for working at the tatto studio she works on. :')

Jordi Chin - Korat Cat. (Felis Catus)

This one was suggested by @paul-poppy-art but I think everyone here agrees Jordi gives major cat energy. XD

Our favorite Fixer is funny, odd and sarcastic lovable sociopathic asshole and we all know it, but saying out loud, that does fit the description of a cat! 😂

Cats are hunters, and their symbolism is mostly tied to Indenpendence, Inteligence and Mystery, this fits Jordi perfect.

A man that works indenpendely, his only criteria is who pays more, wich will be more advanteging to him. An Inteligent and calculative killer that always has a plan in mind and a mysterious person whose' past we know nothing about! Still, he stays by Aiden's side and display his affection in a more non-verbal way (like a cat lol)

For my HC of his mannerisms:

- He has a pretty light walking, you can't hear him comming behind you... Wich is either very dangerous or annoying, depending on your situation.

- Jordi is incredibly sensitive to his surroundings and always knows what is happening around him. You can't surprise him, you simply can't.

- When not working, he tends to stay layed down or sit a lot, like a "big lazy cat". lol

- Is a clean freak. Likes to keep all his work and himself the most well-presented her can. He absolutely despite Aiden's lack of self-care. 😭

- Has extremily good reflexes and flexibility, if he gets to you, you're Fcked. (proof is at WD2)

- Is not a verbal type of guy to express his feelings, but more of the type of doing small gestures to the people he cares for. He brings them food as one of his love languages.

(Kinda like when a cat brings a bird at home to "feed their human". lol)

T-Bone Grady - Bearded Collie Dog. (Canis Lupus Familiaris)

Now is turn for the legendary Hacker Dilf himself!! 🥳

Honestly T-Bone was both easy and hard because well... His name. XD

I struggled a Lot with what race he could be, but looking a bit up, I think Bearded Collie would fit like a glove! For his character design, mostly. 😂

Dogs symbolism is tied to Loyalty, Fidelity, Alertness and Protection.

We see this a lot on T-Bone, he won't hesitate to attack to defend himself, although to his friend's he's loyal and always watch over them and their safety.

(Him trying to reach Aiden to alert him in the Bad Blood DLC) and of course, him always being in alert for Fixers after him.

My personal HCs for his mannerisms:

- Will occasionally pace around or throw/ destruct somethings if too stressed.

- Spend a lot of time on his hair and beared, and tends to let some hair strings behind.

(like a true big furred dog lol)

- Like the Bearded Collie breed, T-Bone doesn't usually "bark", he bites first.

- Can't really stay inside for too long, gets easily bored and just generally hates being idly by.

- Is curious and enjoys a challenge, this old a-hole will take anything to unlock areas/ information that no one else has access to.

- Will always be around the people he cares for, like, physically. He follows/ stays around his friends like a dog with his owner. 😭

Nicole Anne Pearce - Bumblebee. (Bombus)

HEAR ME OUT OK? The patterns on her shirt and her color palette reminded me so much of a Bumblebee! 😭

They're so chonky and floofy! Tell me Nicky ain't cute like them? 🥺🥹

Bumblebees symbolises Hardwork, Productivity, New Beginings and the Importance of a Community! I think those describes Nicole very well!

She's a hard-working single mother providing for her child(ren), her job as an Event Planner reminds me of the systematic work system of bees! Her community (family) is extremily important to her and she fought for their best... Unfortunetly, she had to re-start her life after everything that happened in WD, so all the animal symbolisms fit her character very well. :')

My personal HC for her mannerisms:

- She has the habit of "hum" while working, doing chores or running errands.

(Like the buzz of a bee lol)

-Nicky loves flowers but she doesn't have a garden since she rarely has time to dedicate to it. :')

-She loves honey! And she used to eat a lot of honey-made when she was a kid! 🥰

- Woman can't stay still, she's always moving around trying to do things: Chores, return calls, etc. Aiden used o joke she was "too much of a busy bee".

- She has a pretty characteristic floral smell. Almost all her house smell likes a garden, always with a floral hint in the air.

(Aiden used to find it comforting whenever he visited her and the kids.)

And that's it for today!! There are still missing some other characters from WD1 I still wanted to correlate to animal symbolisms, but this already long af 🥲

Kyrie is an Undead hailing from the Dark Souls verse. While not a voidsent, she has traits not dissimilar to them. Her true form has become a combination of her abilities as an Undead, along with an eerie transformation into a pale, dark-eyed creature. This state enhances her fighting prowess but she considers it a last resort. Lately, she has been training to achieve perfect control over her transformation without use of her Obscuring Ring.

Despite her skill in combat, Kyrie has a peculiar weakness when fighting breaks out around her unexpectedly. She tends to space out when violence occurs, as if she is holding back an urge to strike out instinctively. She does this to prevent escalation of conflict, though it leaves her wide open in the midst of an attack.

Going Without - Chapter Six

Hey guys!! So, I have this headcanon that Aizawa is a little messed up than he lets on after the USJ Incident. We know that his vision isn’t the same, but what about the rest of him? And PTSD?? I mean, that wasn’t an easy thin for him to deal with.

So yeah. :D I appreciate this chapter and the bonding. I hope you guys do, too.

Aizawa was up ahead, taking the long way to classes to avoid the crowds of students and teachers heading into the building. You perked up, picked up your pace, approached the shadow of his right side with your hand raised.

“Aiza—”

Things were too quick. He whirled around, right hand locking around your arm, right foot hooking around your ankle, knocking you off balance. He fell with you, left hand poised to strike your throat. He stopped as your back landed harshly against the ground. He was panting. You were panting. Your hands were pressed against his chest, fingers trapped in the material of his scarf.

“I didn’t mean to scare you,” you whispered.

His heart pounded under your fingers. His head tilted towards his right shoulder and his eyes squeezed shut. He dropped his hand next to your head. “Sorry,” he grunted. He released your arm and pressed his palm to the ground.

“It’s fine,” you breathed. Your hands fluttered to his face nervously before you pulled them to your chest. “I didn’t mean to scare you,” you repeated.

Aizawa pushed himself up and back onto his haunches. You sat up, hands planted behind your hips. He scratched his ear. “I can’t hear very well out of this ear anymore,” he confessed, “or see too well with my right eye.” The reason was clear, even if you hadn’t been here: the USJ Incident.

Your hands moved again, fingers brushing over the scar under his eyes. His face warmed but he didn’t move. “It’s that bad?” you asked. He nodded. You tried to smile. “Pretty badass, you getting back out in the field after that.”

He scoffed and stood, the pink in his cheeks growing. “It’s all a ruse,” he muttered.

You laughed as you stood. “To draw me in, right?”

“Is it working?”

“Very well,” you replied. You stepped around him to his left side. “Mind if I walk to class with you?” you asked. He shrugged and shoved his hands in his pockets.

Emi knows the best place to get sheet music ordered and printed for cheap, and she lets Takeshi in on the secret when his go-to shop shuts down

They find out they actually have some things in common that have nothing to do with Kousei or music: they both like horror films, for example. (Yes, this means they drag Kousei to a ghost movie every once in a while even though he HATES them)

One time they entered a dance contest for no other reason than because they’re uber-competitive and realized that both of them are absolutely terrible dancers

Your Lie in April Second Generation And the Legend Lives On

So headcanon time in which Tsubaki and Kousei end up married and have a kid, naming her after the very woman who ended up ironically bringing them together through heartache and hardship. After learning that she was named after a violinist her parents knew, and her father dueted with, Kaori becomes infatuated with playing violin. Despite her parents trying to drive her away from it, she persists. Her faith is shaken when both of her parents die in a car accident on their way to one of her competitions. She gains he father’s illness of not being able to hear the notes she plays. “I never got to duet with dad... so he could play with her again.” Watari ends up taking her in after his wife passes away trying to give birth to their own child, who also did not make it. He falls in love with her music and encourages her to continue on. So she does. She ends up a world renowned violinist and ends up marrying a famous pianist who was also her accompanist during a recital, who was named Kousei after her father (though this doesn’t bother her as much seeing as his last name isn’t Arima). Watari attends every recital and competition she does, content with how it all played out. “If only you could see your daughter now.” He smiles as he sees the light of his friends who have passed on stage with her, playing with her and her husband. “Kaori chose Kousei after all...” He’s a proud godfather and guardian. “It seems... the legend lived on after all...” The world is shaken by the storm that is Kaori Arima and Kousei Aiza. “It’s like... the world never lost them after all.”

An "What if" AU concept to be exact. What if... Lena didn't died?

Hear me out, the accident could have made one out of two things: Leave her in a vegetating state OR leave her paraplegic, unable to walk again.

I still believe shit would go down south bc is Aiden, he would still go after who ordered the hit and stuff, all the shit-show... But I wonder if maybe in this AU, his guilty would have been more easy to carry?

Honestly, this is more bc yesterday I spend the whole day wailing about how sad Aiden's birthdays must be without his family with him anymore 😭

So this manifested as an comfort AU of sorts? Still angstish, just less depressing 😭

I kinda want to draw Lena in this AU. Like, her on a wheelchair, trying to move on with her life despite everything, and watching her uncle succumb to his thirst for her revenge for fucking with his family. See him become a killer and try to cope with that... I even imagine her on Legions, all grown-up, being able to walk again/ regain her motor functions (if on vegetative state) thanks to the technology of the game timeline 🥹
