(I washed my hair in the sink the other day, waiting for the sirens that never turned on)

(I stopped sleeping at night, because that way I know someone's always awake in the house. I take naps at noon and wake up to bad news.)

I'm okay.

(I haven't left the house in days.)

It's not that bad.

(I use my inhaler, but breathing is still hard.)

(after the third time I was pulled out of the shower, I'm a little stressed about it. It's already been a struggle.)

(I can say, only by hearing, if the current missiles were countered midair or rather hit the ground. I can say where it was by direction of the explosion, or the distant smoke in the sky.)

But it's okay.

It's not so close.

The windows didn't even slam this time.

This night 27.04.2023 #Russia launched another mass missile strike on #Ukraine.....(more inside)

Most missiles were dispatched.

In Dnipro, a missile hit a private home killing a young woman and her 2 yo daughter.

The photos next are from Uman City. The missile destroyed a whole part of a big apartment complex. According to the administration, 109 people lived in the destroyed part. Already bodies of 7 people were recovered, total casualties still unknown.

One Ukrainian recorded the first moments after the strike and posted it to the Internet. She lives in the part of the apartment complex that withstood the strike. The explosion blew off her window panes and shattered all the glass. The family survived but suffered many injuries:

""A missile hit our house. The kids were sleeping there. We're all covered in blood. We have no windows, nothing. Bastards, I hate you! I hate Russians!"

In May 2021 Muhammad Abu Hattab lost 10 family members in an air raid strike on a refugee camp, surviving with his brother and 5 month old child, and now in 2023 he and 10 *more* members of his family were killed, it looks like ending not just his family line but the Hattab name. He was a reporter covering Israel's actions in Gaza and had just returned home from a live broadcast when his home was destroyed in an airstrike the IDF is denying even happened. When the news of his death was given to Palestine TV Journalist Salman Al Bashir, Al Bashir broke down crying on air and ripped off his press helmet and vest.

I can't help but feel like if people had cared enough the first time, maybe some intervention could have happened but I know that's not how world governments operate and it's disgusting....

Dr. Krankcase: I FUCKED UP!!

Mags: Krankcase, we have enough money to buy every chicken farm that has ever existed in all of time, WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I EVER ASKED YOU TO SLAUGHTER A LIVE ANIMAL?!

Wolfgang: (enters the room) Yo, wassup? Hey, it’s getting kinda late. Don’t you think you should start preparing the chicken?

Mags: Shut up! We don’t have time for you to laugh! Here, take my wallet, go put on a hoodie, go to the Falling Forest or some black market somewhere. By any means necessary, go get an identical looking falcon to the one Air Strike had!

Wolfgang: Wait, why do I have to go? I fucking hated that bird!

Mags: Because, honestly, you are more likely to steal it and we really need the speed right now!

Wolfgang: … Okay, that’s a fair point. Little hurtful, but a fair point. I’m gonna go.

Boom Bloom: (entering the room) Hey, why’s everybody in this room right… now…

Dr. Krankcase: …

Wolfgang: …

Boom Bloom: … You killed fake Birdie, didn’t you?

Dr. Krankcase: I’m so sorry! It was a complete accident!

Mags: Bloom, I’m so sorry, Krankcase didn’t mean to do it, it was a total mistake and did you just say fake Birdie?

Boom Bloom: Yeah, fake Birdie.

Mags: Yeah, no, explain. Now.

Boom Bloom: Well, it’s around Christmas time, and the Skylanders are filled with both the smartest and the dumbest fucking people in Skylands. No offense, Wolfgang.

Wolfgang: Yep, honestly, some taken.

Boom Bloom: So whenever there’s a holiday associated with the slaughter of an animal tangentially related to my friend’s favorite pet, I always assume that one of you is going to be dumb enough to slip up and end up killing him. No offense, Wolfgang.

Wolfgang: Yep, still- still some taken.

Boom Bloom: So, around the holiday time, I take Birdie, put him in an undisclosed location, and then I grab a replacement and let it… fly around the academy.

Mags: ……..

Boom Bloom: Yeah, hasn’t really been useful the last couple of years. But I know what I’m gonna thank Santa for this year!

Dr. Krankcase: Okay, so I didn’t kill Birdie?

Boom Bloom: No, dad, Birdie’s fine. This time. Let’s go eat!

Regardless of how you feel about the war, or anything else, this really isn’t good geopolitically. It’s very, very likely to lead to escalation of a conflict which has serious potential to fuck us all.

This morning there were over 100 rockets fired over Kiryat-Motzkin area where my mom lives. Everybody here is freaking out, and wanted me to freak out too, run to the shelter, hide, be afraid. Since 99.9% of all of the bombs are intercepted, I was much more interested to go outside and check it out.
