The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has sparked a revolutionary transformation in various industries, and perhaps one of the most profound impacts has been witnessed in the healthcare sector. AI is redefining the way medical professionals diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes, reducing costs, and improving overall healthcare delivery.
One of the primary areas where AI is making a significant impact is medical diagnostics. AI-powered algorithms have demonstrated remarkable accuracy in interpreting medical images such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans. These algorithms can quickly and accurately identify anomalies, such as tumors, fractures, and other abnormalities, often with a level of precision that rivals or even surpasses human radiologists. This not only speeds up the diagnostic process but also reduces the chances of human error, leading to earlier detection and treatment of diseases.
AI is also playing a crucial role in personalized medicine. By analyzing vast amounts of patient data, including genetic information and medical histories, AI algorithms can identify patterns and correlations that enable more targeted and effective treatment plans. This allows healthcare providers to tailor interventions to each individual's unique needs, maximizing treatment efficacy and minimizing adverse effects.
In addition to diagnostics and personalized medicine, AI is reshaping the drug discovery and development process. Traditional drug development is often time-consuming and costly, with many potential candidates failing during clinical trials. AI-driven approaches, such as machine learning and deep learning, can analyze massive datasets to predict the effectiveness and safety of potential drugs, leading to faster and more efficient drug development pipelines. AI algorithms can also help identify new drug targets and repurpose existing drugs for new therapeutic purposes, potentially revolutionizing the way we approach the treatment of diseases.
AI is ushering in a new era of possibilities in the healthcare industry. From improved diagnostics and personalized treatment plans to streamlined operations and drug discovery, AI is driving significant advancements that have the potential to revolutionize patient care and reshape the healthcare landscape as we know it. As technology continues to evolve, stakeholders must work collaboratively to harness AI's potential while safeguarding patient privacy and ensuring that the benefits are accessible to all segments of society.

The AI hype bubble is the new crypto hype bubble
Tumblr media
Back in 2017 Long Island Ice Tea — known for its undistinguished, barely drinkable sugar-water — changed its name to “Long Blockchain Corp.” Its shares surged to a peak of 400% over their pre-announcement price. The company announced no specific integrations with any kind of blockchain, nor has it made any such integrations since.
If you’d like an essay-formatted version of this post to read or share, here’s a link to it on pluralistic.net, my surveillance-free, ad-free, tracker-free blog:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/03/09/autocomplete-worshippers/#the-real-ai-was-the-corporations-that-we-fought-along-the-way
LBCC was subsequently delisted from NASDAQ after settling with the SEC over fraudulent investor statements. Today, the company trades over the counter and its market cap is $36m, down from $138m.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/textbook-case-of-crypto-hype-how-iced-tea-company-went-blockchain-and-failed-despite-a-289-percent-stock-rise
The most remarkable thing about this incredibly stupid story is that LBCC wasn’t the peak of the blockchain bubble — rather, it was the start of blockchain’s final pump-and-dump. By the standards of 2022’s blockchain grifters, LBCC was small potatoes, a mere $138m sugar-water grift.
They didn’t have any NFTs, no wash trades, no ICO. They didn’t have a Superbowl ad. They didn’t steal billions from mom-and-pop investors while proclaiming themselves to be “Effective Altruists.” They didn’t channel hundreds of millions to election campaigns through straw donations and other forms of campaing finance frauds. They didn’t even open a crypto-themed hamburger restaurant where you couldn’t buy hamburgers with crypto:
https://robbreport.com/food-drink/dining/bored-hungry-restaurant-no-cryptocurrency-1234694556/
They were amateurs. Their attempt to “make fetch happen” only succeeded for a brief instant. By contrast, the superpredators of the crypto bubble were able to make fetch happen over an improbably long timescale, deploying the most powerful reality distortion fields since Pets.com.
Anything that can’t go on forever will eventually stop. We’re told that trillions of dollars’ worth of crypto has been wiped out over the past year, but these losses are nowhere to be seen in the real economy — because the “wealth” that was wiped out by the crypto bubble’s bursting never existed in the first place.
Like any Ponzi scheme, crypto was a way to separate normies from their savings through the pretense that they were “investing” in a vast enterprise — but the only real money (“fiat” in cryptospeak) in the system was the hardscrabble retirement savings of working people, which the bubble’s energetic inflaters swapped for illiquid, worthless shitcoins.
We’ve stopped believing in the illusory billions. Sam Bankman-Fried is under house arrest. But the people who gave him money — and the nimbler Ponzi artists who evaded arrest — are looking for new scams to separate the marks from their money.
Take Morganstanley, who spent 2021 and 2022 hyping cryptocurrency as a massive growth opportunity:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/morgan-stanley-launches-cryptocurrency-research-team
Today, Morganstanley wants you to know that AI is a $6 trillion opportunity.
They’re not alone. The CEOs of Endeavor, Buzzfeed, Microsoft, Spotify, Youtube, Snap, Sports Illustrated, and CAA are all out there, pumping up the AI bubble with every hour that god sends, declaring that the future is AI.
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/wall-street-ai-stock-price-1235343279/
Google and Bing are locked in an arms-race to see whose search engine can attain the speediest, most profound enshittification via chatbot, replacing links to web-pages with florid paragraphs composed by fully automated, supremely confident liars:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/02/16/tweedledumber/#easily-spooked
Blockchain was a solution in search of a problem. So is AI. Yes, Buzzfeed will be able to reduce its wage-bill by automating its personality quiz vertical, and Spotify’s “AI DJ” will produce slightly less terrible playlists (at least, to the extent that Spotify doesn’t put its thumb on the scales by inserting tracks into the playlists whose only fitness factor is that someone paid to boost them).
But even if you add all of this up, double it, square it, and add a billion dollar confidence interval, it still doesn’t add up to what Bank Of America analysts called “a defining moment — like the internet in the ’90s.” For one thing, the most exciting part of the “internet in the ‘90s” was that it had incredibly low barriers to entry and wasn’t dominated by large companies — indeed, it had them running scared.
The AI bubble, by contrast, is being inflated by massive incumbents, whose excitement boils down to “This will let the biggest companies get much, much bigger and the rest of you can go fuck yourselves.” Some revolution.
AI has all the hallmarks of a classic pump-and-dump, starting with terminology. AI isn’t “artificial” and it’s not “intelligent.” “Machine learning” doesn’t learn. On this week’s Trashfuture podcast, they made an excellent (and profane and hilarious) case that ChatGPT is best understood as a sophisticated form of autocomplete — not our new robot overlord.
https://open.spotify.com/episode/4NHKMZZNKi0w9mOhPYIL4T
We all know that autocomplete is a decidedly mixed blessing. Like all statistical inference tools, autocomplete is profoundly conservative — it wants you to do the same thing tomorrow as you did yesterday (that’s why “sophisticated” ad retargeting ads show you ads for shoes in response to your search for shoes). If the word you type after “hey” is usually “hon” then the next time you type “hey,” autocomplete will be ready to fill in your typical following word — even if this time you want to type “hey stop texting me you freak”:
https://blog.lareviewofbooks.org/provocations/neophobic-conservative-ai-overlords-want-everything-stay/
And when autocomplete encounters a new input — when you try to type something you’ve never typed before — it tries to get you to finish your sentence with the statistically median thing that everyone would type next, on average. Usually that produces something utterly bland, but sometimes the results can be hilarious. Back in 2018, I started to text our babysitter with “hey are you free to sit” only to have Android finish the sentence with “on my face” (not something I’d ever typed!):
https://mashable.com/article/android-predictive-text-sit-on-my-face
Modern autocomplete can produce long passages of text in response to prompts, but it is every bit as unreliable as 2018 Android SMS autocomplete, as Alexander Hanff discovered when ChatGPT informed him that he was dead, even generating a plausible URL for a link to a nonexistent obit in The Guardian:
https://www.theregister.com/2023/03/02/chatgpt_considered_harmful/
Of course, the carnival barkers of the AI pump-and-dump insist that this is all a feature, not a bug. If autocomplete says stupid, wrong things with total confidence, that’s because “AI” is becoming more human, because humans also say stupid, wrong things with total confidence.
Exhibit A is the billionaire AI grifter Sam Altman, CEO if OpenAI — a company whose products are not open, nor are they artificial, nor are they intelligent. Altman celebrated the release of ChatGPT by tweeting “i am a stochastic parrot, and so r u.”
https://twitter.com/sama/status/1599471830255177728
This was a dig at the “stochastic parrots” paper, a comprehensive, measured roundup of criticisms of AI that led Google to fire Timnit Gebru, a respected AI researcher, for having the audacity to point out the Emperor’s New Clothes:
https://www.technologyreview.com/2020/12/04/1013294/google-ai-ethics-research-paper-forced-out-timnit-gebru/
Gebru’s co-author on the Parrots paper was Emily M Bender, a computational linguistics specialist at UW, who is one of the best-informed and most damning critics of AI hype. You can get a good sense of her position from Elizabeth Weil’s New York Magazine profile:
https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/ai-artificial-intelligence-chatbots-emily-m-bender.html
Bender has made many important scholarly contributions to her field, but she is also famous for her rules of thumb, which caution her fellow scientists not to get high on their own supply:
Please do not conflate word form and meaning
Mind your own credulity
As Bender says, we’ve made “machines that can mindlessly generate text, but we haven’t learned how to stop imagining the mind behind it.” One potential tonic against this fallacy is to follow an Italian MP’s suggestion and replace “AI” with “SALAMI” (“Systematic Approaches to Learning Algorithms and Machine Inferences”). It’s a lot easier to keep a clear head when someone asks you, “Is this SALAMI intelligent? Can this SALAMI write a novel? Does this SALAMI deserve human rights?”
Bender’s most famous contribution is the “stochastic parrot,” a construct that “just probabilistically spits out words.” AI bros like Altman love the stochastic parrot, and are hellbent on reducing human beings to stochastic parrots, which will allow them to declare that their chatbots have feature-parity with human beings.
At the same time, Altman and Co are strangely afraid of their creations. It’s possible that this is just a shuck: “I have made something so powerful that it could destroy humanity! Luckily, I am a wise steward of this thing, so it’s fine. But boy, it sure is powerful!”
They’ve been playing this game for a long time. People like Elon Musk (an investor in OpenAI, who is hoping to convince the EU Commission and FTC that he can fire all of Twitter’s human moderators and replace them with chatbots without violating EU law or the FTC’s consent decree) keep warning us that AI will destroy us unless we tame it.
There’s a lot of credulous repetition of these claims, and not just by AI’s boosters. AI critics are also prone to engaging in what Lee Vinsel calls criti-hype: criticizing something by repeating its boosters’ claims without interrogating them to see if they’re true:
https://sts-news.medium.com/youre-doing-it-wrong-notes-on-criticism-and-technology-hype-18b08b4307e5
There are better ways to respond to Elon Musk warning us that AIs will emulsify the planet and use human beings for food than to shout, “Look at how irresponsible this wizard is being! He made a Frankenstein’s Monster that will kill us all!” Like, we could point out that of all the things Elon Musk is profoundly wrong about, he is most wrong about the philosophical meaning of Wachowksi movies:
https://www.theguardian.com/film/2020/may/18/lilly-wachowski-ivana-trump-elon-musk-twitter-red-pill-the-matrix-tweets
But even if we take the bros at their word when they proclaim themselves to be terrified of “existential risk” from AI, we can find better explanations by seeking out other phenomena that might be triggering their dread. As Charlie Stross points out, corporations are Slow AIs, autonomous artificial lifeforms that consistently do the wrong thing even when the people who nominally run them try to steer them in better directions:
https://media.ccc.de/v/34c3-9270-dude_you_broke_the_future
Imagine the existential horror of a ultra-rich manbaby who nominally leads a company, but can’t get it to follow: “everyone thinks I’m in charge, but I’m actually being driven by the Slow AI, serving as its sock puppet on some days, its golem on others.”
Ted Chiang nailed this back in 2017 (the same year of the Long Island Blockchain Company):
There’s a saying, popularized by Fredric Jameson, that it’s easier to imagine the end of the world than to imagine the end of capitalism. It’s no surprise that Silicon Valley capitalists don’t want to think about capitalism ending. What’s unexpected is that the way they envision the world ending is through a form of unchecked capitalism, disguised as a superintelligent AI. They have unconsciously created a devil in their own image, a boogeyman whose excesses are precisely their own.
https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/tedchiang/the-real-danger-to-civilization-isnt-ai-its-runaway
Chiang is still writing some of the best critical work on “AI.” His February article in the New Yorker, “ChatGPT Is a Blurry JPEG of the Web,” was an instant classic:
[AI] hallucinations are compression artifacts, but — like the incorrect labels generated by the Xerox photocopier — they are plausible enough that identifying them requires comparing them against the originals, which in this case means either the Web or our own knowledge of the world.
https://www.newyorker.com/tech/annals-of-technology/chatgpt-is-a-blurry-jpeg-of-the-web
“AI” is practically purpose-built for inflating another hype-bubble, excelling as it does at producing party-tricks — plausible essays, weird images, voice impersonations. But as Princeton’s Matthew Salganik writes, there’s a world of difference between “cool” and “tool”:
https://freedom-to-tinker.com/2023/03/08/can-chatgpt-and-its-successors-go-from-cool-to-tool/
Nature can claim “conversational AI is a game-changer for science” but “there is a huge gap between writing funny instructions for removing food from home electronics and doing scientific research.” Salganik tried to get ChatGPT to help him with the most banal of scholarly tasks — aiding him in peer reviewing a colleague’s paper. The result? “ChatGPT didn’t help me do peer review at all; not one little bit.”
The criti-hype isn’t limited to ChatGPT, of course — there’s plenty of (justifiable) concern about image and voice generators and their impact on creative labor markets, but that concern is often expressed in ways that amplify the self-serving claims of the companies hoping to inflate the hype machine.
One of the best critical responses to the question of image- and voice-generators comes from Kirby Ferguson, whose final Everything Is a Remix video is a superb, visually stunning, brilliantly argued critique of these systems:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rswxcDyotXA
One area where Ferguson shines is in thinking through the copyright question — is there any right to decide who can study the art you make? Except in some edge cases, these systems don’t store copies of the images they analyze, nor do they reproduce them:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/02/09/ai-monkeys-paw/#bullied-schoolkids
For creators, the important material question raised by these systems is economic, not creative: will our bosses use them to erode our wages? That is a very important question, and as far as our bosses are concerned, the answer is a resounding yes.
Markets value automation primarily because automation allows capitalists to pay workers less. The textile factory owners who purchased automatic looms weren’t interested in giving their workers raises and shorting working days. ‘ They wanted to fire their skilled workers and replace them with small children kidnapped out of orphanages and indentured for a decade, starved and beaten and forced to work, even after they were mangled by the machines. Fun fact: Oliver Twist was based on the bestselling memoir of Robert Blincoe, a child who survived his decade of forced labor:
https://www.gutenberg.org/files/59127/59127-h/59127-h.htm
Today, voice actors sitting down to record for games companies are forced to begin each session with “My name is ______ and I hereby grant irrevocable permission to train an AI with my voice and use it any way you see fit.”
https://www.vice.com/en/article/5d37za/voice-actors-sign-away-rights-to-artificial-intelligence
Let’s be clear here: there is — at present — no firmly established copyright over voiceprints. The “right” that voice actors are signing away as a non-negotiable condition of doing their jobs for giant, powerful monopolists doesn’t even exist. When a corporation makes a worker surrender this right, they are betting that this right will be created later in the name of “artists’ rights” — and that they will then be able to harvest this right and use it to fire the artists who fought so hard for it.
There are other approaches to this. We could support the US Copyright Office’s position that machine-generated works are not works of human creative authorship and are thus not eligible for copyright — so if corporations wanted to control their products, they’d have to hire humans to make them:
https://www.theverge.com/2022/2/21/22944335/us-copyright-office-reject-ai-generated-art-recent-entrance-to-paradise
Or we could create collective rights that belong to all artists and can’t be signed away to a corporation. That’s how the right to record other musicians’ songs work — and it’s why Taylor Swift was able to re-record the masters that were sold out from under her by evil private-equity bros::
https://doctorow.medium.com/united-we-stand-61e16ec707e2
Whatever we do as creative workers and as humans entitled to a decent life, we can’t afford drink the Blockchain Iced Tea. That means that we have to be technically competent, to understand how the stochastic parrot works, and to make sure our criticism doesn’t just repeat the marketing copy of the latest pump-and-dump.
Today (Mar 9), you can catch me in person in Austin at the UT School of Design and Creative Technologies, and remotely at U Manitoba’s Ethics of Emerging Tech Lecture.
Tomorrow (Mar 10), Rebecca Giblin and I kick off the SXSW reading series.

Update/Pinned Post
Welcome to my art archive. I've posted a lot about my OCs, TWEWY, Persona 5, Xenoblade X and in other fandoms.
Unfortunately due to recent-ish changes on Tumblr I no longer feel comfortable posting here much or at all. I'll keep my blog up for the foreseeable future or maybe even forever because of how Tumblr stores data. I'd rather have the link back to the source.
Or if the other sites explode in the meantime.
This has nothing to do with the date sadly. I'm just at my limit.
Here's where you can find me:
Pillowfort: gramophoneturtle. The most artist respected place and a decent long form blogging place.
Neocities: I'm currently developing an art archive on neocities over here. This will be THE archive place, one day! With RSS, one day!
Bluesky: gramophoneturtle. Twitter replacement. I don't trust it but it's meshing with me more than mastodon. Stream announcements are here b/c I ran out of energy for crossposting.
cohost: gramophoneturtle. I don't trust it'll stay but it has both a draft system & can save alt text on draft edits. Wild stuff to praise but when porting art out of Tumblr, it's helpful to have new drafts.
Twitch & YouTube: I stream weekly on Twitch and store VODs on both. Twitch has all my VODs and YouTube has VODs from Fall 2023 and onwards.
More details, pros and cons about each site below for those who are curious. Thanks for sticking around and reading.
Pillowfort
It's user funded and transparent about the breakdown of funds
They're against generative AI. Their reinforcement came out around the time Tumblr's not-really-against-it stance came out. This is huge to me.
They're working on a PWA of the site so it will have a way to function like a smartphone app
Image post options aren't great but you aren't limited to 4 (unlike cohost - kinda, and Bluesky)
Alt text gets eaten if you edit a post currently which is awful. (Tumblr used to do this.) Alt text isn't an option for picture type posts but is for text posts with pictures. But hey at least you can include alt text!
Communities are nice for fandoms and stuff. You can search by tags but you don't follow tags, you join/watch communities.
They have funding for the next 6 months past any month that was fully funded. So as of April 1, 2024, funding should last until (the end?) of October if they were to not get any more donations/subscriptions from now on. Basically, they have a 6 month buffer and so far for 2024 they've been keeping it and maintaining their monthly funding goals
Neocities
Home page URL should not change but artwork URLs might
The artwork section is inspired by Tumblr's archive page/system. I don't think I want it to be exactly like it (might be a limitation of static pages re: tag filtering) but I want to try and partially make it
Artwork on there have been nightshaded and glazed. I would like to reglaze some pieces that are too glazed for my liking, now that I have a better computer for it (so it doesn't take forever). That's why not a lot of art is on there yet
I might go into detail about how I automated some of the web dev stuff to make my life easier on my my main blog. In summary: I'm using 11ty (eleventy), generating pages from data and templates, using github for version control and github actions for updating the site automatically
Bluesky:
Feeds are cool. I've found and made (through SkyFeed) a lot of Feeds. Feeds can look for text in posts and alt text, and/or specific tags. Can filter out reblogs or replies. Can work off of user lists. Can include/exclude specific posts - like Twitter Moments. There's a lot of flexibility and filtering.
Feeds can lookback anywhere from 25 hours to 1 week when not looking at one user. So when pulling from many users, you could just get the latest updates. For one user (say your own gallery of whatever) you're allowed to go back to the beginning, it can be your art gallery. And then people can just follow that feed so you don't have to worry about your art getting buried if people just want to follow your art
There's a setting you can turn on to warn and prevent you from posting until you add alt text. I love this. Especially since, like Twitter, you can't go back and edit a post
Forcing ALT text has the added bonus of leaving it last so I can double check tags and text in case I accidentally hit the post button before I'm ready
Twitch
There is art. And VTuber stuff. And life updates. Art/project updates. Lots of OC talk. Like I wish I could post more about Null considering how much stuff I've spoken about them on stream but freaking time! And energy.
YouTube
Used to do more Timelapses but stopped because laptop was not having fun with it. Now that I have a new computer it might be better!
Also has Twitch VODs because I want another place to back up VODs since local recordings take up a lot of space. And I can mark Chapters(/Moments?) timestamps to find stuff again.
Special thank you to those that made it all the way down here!
So what is the blog for now? Archiving, mainly, as I said at the beginning. I might link to my neocities page in maybe art updates or to pillowfort. And I might need a place to fall back to if the other sites don't last. I know bluesky and cohost are not much better/probably not better in other ways so I know that posting on them probably won't be good long term.
But that's why I'm working on the art archive site on the side. I'll always have a safe and controlled place where I can have all my art and details and stuff. It's gonna take a while and it's challenging but it's what I feel like I gotta do now.
I'm just so tired.

ESC2023 Reaction Post
Just like the title said, I'm writing this post as I listen to most of the 2023 entries for the first time. So far, I have only heard Italy (of course), Spain, Finland, Serbia, Portugal (I just couldn't miss their national finals), and Norway (heard it in the wild).
My top 6 of these entries would look like this:
1. Finland: Käärijä - "Cha Cha Cha"
I've definitely caught the Cha Cha Cha fever! At this point, I've streamed it 240 times in less than a month. It's an instant dopamine boost, it hits several spots of my taste in music, the transition between the two halves of the song is seamless and reflects the lyrics perfectly (I recommend Eurovision Histories' analysis of the song, he explains it really well), Käärijä is such a charismatic performer and an absolute sweetheart, but most of all...
Tumblr media
2. Spain: Blanca Paloma - "Eaea"
I rarely cry over a song, so when one does manage to get my eyes wet, it must be special. The fusion between flamenco and a contemporary production, together with Blanca Paloma's flawless and intense vocals, make "Eaea" a contender not only in my ears, but also in my eyes, as the staging completes the package effectively. Hopefully she doesn't change it much for Liverpool!
3. Serbia: Luke Black - "Samo Mi Se Spava"
It seems like Konstrakta might have paved the way for a more experimental side of the Serbian music scene! I first heard "Samo Mi Se Spava" at Pesma za Evroviziju's final and, while I loved the dark electro-pop style, I was also left a little confused - maybe it was the vocals that I couldn't fully get? But with more listens, I've now warmed up to it. Its only flaw is that it's too short. Give me a 7-minute long extended mix with a drop going absolutely bonkers, please.
4. Italy: Marco Mengoni - "Due Vite"
Yes, it's a classic Sanremo-style ballad. But the artist can make or break this kind of songs with their way of singing, and Marco definitely makes it with his distinctive vocals and artistry. While he has a bunch of upbeat bangers and I would have loved him to show this different side of his music this time around, I really can't complain as "Due Vite" makes yet another entry we can be proud of. Forza Marco!
5. Portugal: Mimicat - "Ai Coração"
This keeps growing on me! Such a cute and classy song, retro sounding in the best way. Portugal is one of my favourite country in the ESC, and "Ai coração" is faithful to their brand. Mimicat is such an endearing performer and definitely sells the song!
6. Norway: Alessandra - "Queen of Kings"
It's 'last' as for now, but I'm sure it won't be last in my overall ranking! In fact, I can't see it dropping outside of my top 20 once I've heard all of the entries. Epic feel, pumping bass, powerful vocals - I wouldn't be surprised if "Queen of Kings" landed the second top 10 placement in a row for Norway. Bonus points for Alessandra being half Italian!
Needless to say, I really enjoy all of these songs. It feels so hard for me to imagine a personal winner other than "Cha Cha Cha", but maybe I'll be surprised...
Now to my live reaction to the remaining 31 entries: what I'm going to do is play ESCBEAT's Spotify playlist on shuffle without looking at the title, so I'll make it even more interesting for myself and try to guess which country's song is playing - with the exceptions of Armenia and San Marino, as they're not available on Spotify yet so I'll check them out individually on YouTube.
Armenia: Brunette - "Future Lover"
Ok, before the song starts, let me say that basing her song on Tumblr quotes is honestly iconic behaviour. Truly one of us. However I fear I won't be able to take it 100% seriously after reading this fact.
Alright.
After listening: you know what... it makes a lot more sense to me now. The first verse can be interpreted as her scrolling her dashboard, reading such posts and fantasizing over this ideal partner to do all of these cute and mundane things with. The second verse is when she gets hit by reality and acknowledges that she's spent so much time obsessing over someone who doesn't even exist, and that realization hits her hard. The music seems to explode together with the racing thoughts in her mind. Solid, r&b-tinted track, has potential to be a memorable moment on the Liverpool stage. Oh, and once again Armenia shows that they're capable to make a music video.
San Marino: Piqued Jacks - "Like an Animal"
I have already read the lyrics to that, and they are definitely Something™. Let's see if the music and the performance can make up for it...
I was expecting so much worse from what I've read around the eurofandom spaces? It's a pleasant, very well sung rock song. The lyrics didn't even bother me that much while listening, although they're kinda awkward indeed. Maybe they'll change them up in the upcoming revamp?
Now to shuffling the Spotify playlist.
Sweden: Loreen - "Tattoo"
Oh, this has to be Tattoo. The start is indeed a bit reminiscing of The Winner Takes It All! It's what Sweden can do best - a strong pop song with slick production, in which Loreen's personality and artistry is the added value. I wish she had presented something more experimental, but seeing how it went with "Statements", can we really blame her? "Tattoo" does sound like a jury winner, and it would surely be deserved. I'm sure it's even better live - I'll make sure to check her Melfest performance out!
Australia: Voyager - "Promise"
Have no idea of what this could be, but the sound is interesting. Hope the build-up does not disappoint.
Okay, it has to be Australia! I was expecting it to evolve into a full-on dance-pop song, lmao.
I'm digging this! "Dreamer" was a national final favourite of mine last year, and while I'm not sure I like "Promise" more, I still did like it a lot, and I can hear some common patterns between the two songs - poppier verses, the chorus suddenly getting heavier, and then the peak in the breakdown and the final chorus. Oh, and there's a short but sweet guitar solo in here! I wonder how it will be received on the ESC stage, as it might come across as confusing to some.
Slovenia: Joker Out - "Carpe Diem"
Is this Joker Out? I've been SO curious to hear their song, as I heard some of their back catalogue and it sounds really cool.
OMG I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. Such a strong indie-rock banger, reminiscent of what I used to hear on the alternative radio stations in the mid 00s, but still sounding fresh in 2023. Also Slovene sounds adorable together with rock music. It's been absolutely worth the wait! I NEED THIS TO QUALIFY OKAY.
Austria: Teya & Salena - "Who the Hell Is Edgar"
OH MY GOD YOU'RE SUCH A GOOD WRITER. Yeah, recognized it instantly. MASSIVE BOP ALREADY. Was... not expecting this opera bit.
POE POE POE POE POE POE POE POE POE POE POE POE POE POE POE EDGAR ALLAN EDGAR ALLAN
Everyone stand up for the new Austrian anthem. Honestly iconic. Loving it unironically, great production, love me some satire, and I trust them to deliver live. Hope they go bonkers with the staging. I feel like ranking these entries is going to be hell...
Switzerland: Remo Forrer - "Watergun"
Oh, piano intro.
Army mention. Switzerland, isn't it?
Not bad, just sounds kinda cliché so far... very nice voice though. Can't see myself replaying it. Probably going to end up in my bottom 10.
Georgia: Iru - "Echo"
This is a banging intro, I'm listening respectfully.
...Georgia?
There's going to be a drop, I hope so...
I'm... disappointed so far? Not really hearing the build-up I was hoping for. It seems to be a fan favourite, but I'm not getting it. Maybe it will grow on me, who knows?
Moldova: Pasha Parfeni - "Soarele si Luna"
ROMANIAN. Has to be Pasha. Another song I was eager to hear!
THE DROP. THANKS FOR MY DAILY DOSE OF DOPAMINE. THIS IS SO GOOD HELP. The bass, the flute, the backing vocals, everything. This might be my favourite Moldovan entry ever. Pasha Parfeni came on this bitch mad as hell. Welcome back!
Azerbaijan: TuralTuranX - "Tell Me More"
Automatic voice message? This sounds kinda unserious idk why.
Oh, it has to be Azerbaijan.
I'm glad they left the artists more creative control this time around, but this is really not doing it for me. It sounds like the demo to some 90s song. My last so far. I fear this won't do well and the delegation will go back to Melfest rejects...
Ireland: Wild Youth - "We Are One"
We take our first breath and then we exhale. King of teaching us how to breathe. Can't figure out which entry this is, but it sounds cliché so far.
Oh, Ireland. Wild Youth, what have you done? I already knew their song "Can't Say No" and it's so good, are we sure it's the same band? It's like they came together and decided to deliberately write the most stereotypical ESC song. It's a no from me.
Latvia: Sudden Lights - "Aijā"
Interesting beat, wonder where it's going to go from here. Oh, guitars.
5/4 to 6/8 tempo transition? A bit confusing but in a good way, I'm enjoying it a lot! Definitely original. Could it be Latvia? I've been VERY curious to hear it.
Well, he's saying Aijā now so no doubt. First impression is really good already, but I feel like I'll end up being obsessed!
Malta: The Busker - Dance (Our Own Party)
Funky pop, nice. Enjoying it more and more as it progresses, and that sax? *chef's kiss*. It's sensual, retro but there's also something a bit futuristic about it at the same time? Still not sure about what it is, even now that the song is coming to an end. Kinda want to say Malta? I'll figure this out by exclusion. What's sure is that it slaps.
(Spoiler: it was indeed Malta)
Romania: Theodor Andrei - "D.G.T. (Off and On)"
Is it Romanian again? Thought Romania's entry was in English, so this is surprising. And it's pretty good? This was one of the entries I just couldn't figure out the vibe of from the eurofans' comments, and I'm positively surprised honestly! Was expecting it to be maybe more upbeat, definitely was not picturing this jazz-rock fusion. Oh, turns out it's bilingual. I don't know how memorable it will be in the mix, but it's solid. Such a diverse lineup so far, it's shaping up to be a stronger year than I thought!
Albania: Albina & Familja Kelmendi - "Duje"
Oh, this lady CAN vocalize! Something in the Albanian water...
I was expecting this to be more ballad-y for some reason but it's making me want to shake my ass. I feel like something in the production/mixing is holding it back a bit, though. Overall it's Albania doing Albania, and I can't complain.
Iceland: Diljá - "Power"
Iceland time, I think? I'm enjoying it a lot so far. EDM hasn't been particularly successful at ESC, but she has a lovely voice and her winning Söngvakeppnin suggests to me that she can deliver live, so this could be a dark horse!
Denmark: Reiley - "Breaking My Heart"
Very modern production for this and vocoder for this next song. Okay, this is probably Denmark. It's most likely not going to be one of my favourites, but it's a personal taste thing. It's a solid pop song, hope he can deliver it live.
Estonia: Alika - "Bridges"
Now a lovely tone of voice being accompanied by just a piano and strings. I've lost count of which songs are left to listen to, and while I'm at the last chorus, I'm still struggling to figure out which country this is. WAIT IT'S ALIKA FKFHFKFHDKDH. Girlie said "bridges" a ton of times and I didn't catch it lmao. Really liked it though! It could stand out in a less balladful year like this one.
Czechia: Vesna - "My Sister's Crown"
FINALLY HEARING VESNA'S SONG!!!! This has been so hard to resist BUT GOD HAS IT BEEN WORTH THE WAIT. I've been listening to their music for some time and I was so excited when they were announced for ESCZ. It's what I was expecting from them and more: a gorgeously sung, very well produced folk-pop tune, and the rap verses are such a great surprise! Up to my top 5 you go.
Belgium: Gustaph - "Because of You"
Gustaph delivers some good old eurodance, and I can tell this is going to be a sort of guilty pleasure for me... except I do not, in fact, feel guilty. It's the good kind of dated. Good job on bringing out the 90s kid in me!
United Kingdom: Mae Muller - "I Wrote a Song"
Sounds like slick pop so far. Oh this is building up nicely.
Yes, the UK delivering a quality, very radio-friendly host entry. They seem to be determined in changing their course, and hopefully we'll see a competent enough staging to bring out the entry's potential!
Greece: Victor Vernicos - "What They Say"
Is it Greece? Cute song, I just think I'm not the audience for it. He's really young and this seems to be his first performance on a big stage, so I'm a bit worried about how he might cope with nerves... But then again, there have been 16-year-olds who did amazing on the ESC stage, so fingers crossed!
Croatia: Let3 - "Mama ŠČ"
CROATIA TIME LET'S SEE
This is as all over the place as I was expecting, it's far from a musical masterpiece but it's clearly not meant to be. They're just vibing, and I support that.
Cyprus: Andrew Lambrou - "Break a Broken Heart"
What in the Imagine Dragons is this? Oh, that's Cyprus. This is pretty good, I just don't see myself coming back to it much. But I feel like it's the kind of song that might be elevated a lot by strong staging.
Poland TVP: Blanka - "Solo"
BEYBAH ITS KAINDA CRAYZAH.
...yeah. It's a song. I get those who say it sounds like a Margaret song, but it's also giving me early 00s vibes. At the same time, while I'm a slut for early 00s pop, this is giving me nothing. And the context around it makes everything worse.
Israel: Noa Kirel - "Unicorn"
I've heard "Unicorn" is a messy song, now I'll get to witness it for myself. So far it's a respectable dance-pop entry, but that "power of the unicorn" sounds so random ngl.
Oh well. This is definitely a song meant FOR a staging. The breakdown after the repeated "do you want to see me dance?" line reminded me of kpop a bit. The ending was... so abrupt?
Netherlands: Mia Nicolai & Dion Cooper - "Burning Daylight"
This might be the Netherlands' entry? You can surely hear Duncan Laurence in it. I was afraid it would sound too forced as a song and a duet, but it's flowing well so far. However I'm not a fan of what the drums sound like. They sound... buried? I liked it the most until the second chorus.
Germany: Lord of the Lost - "Blood & Glitter"
Metal? In MY Eurovision Song Contest? Love to hear it, especially from Germany, since it seemed like they were stuck in their safe approach to the competition. As for the song itself... maybe I'll warm up to it with time, but on a first impression, I like the intro and the verses a lot, the chorus not as much. The ending was great!
Ukraine: Tvorchi - "Heart of Steel"
Oh, what's this? Slightly off-beat chorus, very interesting!
Right, Ukraine! Tvorchi use their host entry privilege to bring something we've never heard at the ESC before, and definitely a change of pace from the folk-driven songs of the past couple of years, proving the richness of this country's music scene.
Lithuania: Monika Linkytė - "Stay"
ČIŪTOOOO TŪTO
Another returnee! Sweet ballad, really pleasant vocals. Turning into more of a midtempo now, with sort of marching drums. I can't remember which country is in which semi, but I wouldn't mind this in the grand final at all!
France: La Zarra - "Évidemment"
So far, so French. And yes, it's a compliment - I'm a French pop slut. It's now surprisingly evolved into pop-funk, and I'm loving it! France is truly on a great streak (STILL MAD ABOUT FULENN OKAY.) - maybe we'll see them win in the next few years?
Overall: what a year! I was planning to make an initial ranking, turns out I'm too overwhelmed right now. As the years go by, the songs seem to be less meant for a contest, and more as a bunch of stand-alone solid and diverse tunes that happen to compete with each other, therefore it feels unfair to choose some over others. I'll take my time to warm up to them, and see which ones I will come back to the most, which ones will grow on or off me.
I think Finland is still my favourite, though.
Most likely to end up in my top 10: Czechia (definitely top 5), Slovenia, Latvia, Moldova, Malta, Austria

The Impact of AI in Social Media
Artificial Intelligence is reshaping numerous industries with its advanced capabilities. Among the most significant transformations driven by AI is the evolution of social media platforms, exemplified by “AI in Social Media.” From Facebook to Instagram, and Twitter to TikTok, the integration of AI has revolutionized how we interact online, consume content, and connect with others. This profound shift is not merely a technological advancement but a fundamental change in the dynamics of social interaction, marketing, and content creation.
In the early days of social media, platforms were primarily static, with limited personalization and user interaction. Users were presented with chronological feeds, and content visibility relied heavily on manual curation. Advertising was broad and often missed the mark, as it lacked the precision to target specific demographics effectively. However, as social media platforms evolved, so did the need for more sophisticated mechanisms to manage the vast amounts of data generated by users and to enhance the overall user experience.
AI — a game-changer that has redefined the orbit of social media. AI’s ability to analyze large datasets, recognize patterns and make predictions has enabled social media platforms to offer highly personalized experiences. This has led to increased user engagement, as individuals are presented with content tailored to their interests and behaviors. The shift from chronological feeds to algorithm-driven ones exemplifies this change, with AI determining the most relevant content for each user.
Beyond personalization, AI has empowered social media platforms to automate and optimize various processes, from content moderation to targeted advertising. For instance, AI algorithms can swiftly identify and remove inappropriate content, maintaining a safe online environment. They can also analyze user interactions to deliver ads that resonate more with the audience, thereby improving the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Additionally, we will explore AI’s role in image and video recognition, predictive analytics, influencer marketing, targeted advertising, and more. By understanding these use cases, we can appreciate the transformative impact of AI in social media and anticipate future trends and innovations.
Understanding AI in Social Media
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a cornerstone of modern social media platforms, fundamentally altering how users interact with content, businesses engage with customers, and information is disseminated across digital landscapes. At its core, AI in social media refers to the utilization of sophisticated algorithms and machine learning techniques to analyze vast amounts of data generated by users and content on these platforms. This analysis enables AI systems to make predictions, recommendations, and decisions that enhance the overall user experience and optimize business operations.
The AI in Social Media Market, which reached a value of USD 0.99 billion in 2021, is projected to increase from USD 1.27 billion in 2022 to USD 9.59 billion by 2030, demonstrating a robust compound annual growth rate of 28.7% during the forecast period spanning from 2023 to 2030.
AI in Social Media: Use Cases and Applications
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has profoundly transformed social media, enhancing user experience, optimizing content delivery, and revolutionizing marketing strategies. Here, we delve into specific use cases and applications of AI in social media, showcasing how this technology is shaping the digital orbit.
Personalized Content Recommendations
One of the most prevalent use cases of AI in social media is personalized content recommendations. Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter use AI algorithms to analyze user behavior, including likes, shares, comments, and viewing history, to curate a personalized feed.
Example: Netflix uses AI to recommend movies and TV shows based on users’ viewing habits. This involves collaborative filtering, where the algorithm finds patterns in user behavior, and content-based filtering, where it recommends content with similar attributes to what the user has previously enjoyed.

Sentiment Analysis and Social Listening
AI-powered sentiment analysis helps brands and social media managers gauge public opinion by analyzing user-generated content. Social listening tools track mentions of brands, products, or topics across social media platforms, providing insights into consumer sentiment and emerging trends.
Example: Tools like Brandwatch and Sprout Social use AI to perform sentiment analysis on social media posts, helping companies understand how their audience feels about their brand and products. This information is crucial for reputation management and marketing strategies.
Chatbots and Customer Service
AI-driven chatbots are widely used on social media platforms to provide instant customer service. These chatbots can answer frequently asked questions, assist with orders, and even handle complaints, providing 24/7 support and improving customer satisfaction.
Example: Many companies, such as H&M and Sephora, use AI chatbots on platforms like Facebook Messenger to assist customers with product recommendations, order tracking, and general inquiries, enhancing the overall customer experience.
Image and Video Recognition
AI-powered image and video recognition technology enables social media platforms to analyze and categorize visual content. This technology is used for various purposes, including content moderation, ad targeting, and user engagement.
Example: Facebook and Instagram use AI to detect inappropriate content, such as nudity or violence, and remove it to ensure community guidelines are met. TikTok employs similar technology to recommend videos based on the objects and scenes recognized in user-uploaded content.
Predictive Analytics for Trend Identification
Predictive analytics utilizes past data to forecast future trends. Social media platforms leverage AI to analyze user interactions and predict upcoming trends, helping brands stay ahead of the curve.
Example: Twitter uses AI to identify trending topics in real-time, allowing users and brands to engage with relevant and timely content. This feature helps brands capitalize on trending discussions to increase visibility and engagement.
Social Media Analytics and Reporting
AI-driven analytics tools provide deep insights into social media performance. These tools track metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, and content reach, helping brands understand the effectiveness of their social media strategies.
Example: Tools like Hootsuite and Buffer use AI to analyze social media data and generate comprehensive reports. These insights help social media managers optimize their content strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Experiences
AI is also driving innovations in VR and AR on social media platforms, creating immersive experiences for users. These technologies are being used for interactive ads, virtual events, and enhanced user engagement.
Example: Snapchat’s AR filters use AI to create interactive and engaging experiences for users. Brands can use these filters to create unique advertising experiences that resonate with their audience.
Influencer Marketing Optimization
AI helps brands identify the most suitable influencers for their campaigns by analyzing various metrics such as engagement rates, follower demographics, and content relevance. This data-driven approach ensures that brands partner with influencers who can effectively reach their target audience.
Example: Platforms like Influencity and Upfluence use AI to analyze influencer profiles and recommend those who align best with a brand’s objectives. These tools also track the performance of influencer campaigns, providing insights into ROI and engagement.
Enhanced Advertising Targeting
AI has revolutionized social media advertising by enabling highly targeted ad campaigns. AI algorithms analyze user data to deliver personalized ads to the right audience at the right time, increasing the likelihood of conversion.
Example: Facebook Ads Manager uses AI to optimize ad placements and bidding strategies. Advertisers can target users based on their interests, behaviors, and demographics, ensuring their ads reach the most relevant audience.
Content Moderation and Community Management
AI-powered content moderation tools help social media platforms maintain a safe and respectful environment by automatically detecting and flagging inappropriate content. These tools are essential for managing large volumes of user-generated content efficiently.
Example: YouTube uses AI to detect and remove videos that violate its community guidelines, such as those containing hate speech or violent content. This helps keep the platform safe for all users and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Fraud Detection and Account Security
AI is instrumental in detecting fraudulent activities and enhancing account security on social media platforms. AI algorithms can identify suspicious behavior patterns and take action to protect user accounts.
Example: Instagram uses AI to detect and block fake accounts and bots. This helps maintain the integrity of the platform and ensures genuine interactions among users.
Challenges and Ethical Considerations
While AI in Social Media brings numerous benefits, such as enhanced personalization and targeted advertising, it also presents challenges and raises ethical concerns. One significant challenge is user privacy. AI relies on vast amounts of user data to personalize experiences and target ads effectively, which raises concerns about data privacy, transparency, and consent.
Platforms must balance the benefits of AI-driven personalization with respect for user privacy rights, especially under regulations such as the GDPR in Europe and the CCPA in California, which aim to protect user data and hold platforms accountable for how they collect, store, and use personal information.
Another ethical concern is algorithmic bias in AI in Social Media. AI algorithms learn from historical data, including biases, which can perpetuate discriminatory outcomes in content recommendation, advertising, and moderation. Addressing algorithmic bias requires ongoing monitoring, transparency in algorithmic decision-making, and diversity in data sources used for training AI models.
Future Trends and Innovations
Looking ahead, AI in Social Media is poised to further transform with advancements in natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and predictive analytics. Future innovations may include:
Improved Content Understanding: AI algorithms capable of understanding context and sentiment in text, images, and videos to enhance content recommendation and moderation.
Augmented Reality (AR) Integration: AI-powered AR experiences on platforms like Snapchat and Instagram, allowing users to interact with virtual objects and environments in real-time.
Voice Recognition and Virtual Assistants: Integration of AI-powered virtual assistants on social media platforms to enhance user interaction and support.

The Next-Gen Runway: Fashion's Digital Evolution
Launched in 2020, DressX was created with an ambitious vision: to craft “digital fashion” for the virtual world. This revolutionary concept sparked the birth of the world’s first “meta-fashion” company, establishing a major presence in Meta’s avatar-fashion marketplace alongside heritage brands like Prada and Balenciaga. But unlike traditional fashion brands, DressX isn’t here to replace physical wardrobes; instead, it’s transforming fashion for a digital audience. Particularly, influencers and YouTubers who require frequent style changes can now turn to virtual garments to keep their looks fresh without the environmental footprint or financial strain of real-world outfits.
In September 2023, DressX pushed the boundaries of digital fashion even further through a collaboration with Italian fashion brand Diesel, bringing the iconic Diesel jeans into the metaverse. Digital replicas of Diesel’s denim jackets, jeans, and sneakers were crafted, allowing fans to outfit their avatars in virtual Diesel gear across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, and Quest VR. This fusion of fashion and futurism demonstrates how digital fashion is revolutionizing the industry and paving the way for a new era in which personal style knows no physical bounds.
Virtual Influencers: The New Face of Marketing
Virtual influencers are fictional, computer-generated personas used primarily for social media marketing. Unlike traditional influencers, these digital characters never age, rest, or take a day off, making them invaluable assets for brands. Popularized by virtual personalities like Lil Miquela, who boasts millions of followers, these avatars embody unique brand identities, often appealing to tech-savvy, younger audiences. Notably, supermodel Bella Hadid collaborated with AI influencer Miquela in a Calvin Klein campaign, underlining the mainstream appeal of digital personalities.
For brands, virtual influencers represent a cost-effective and highly customizable marketing strategy. Because these characters can be tailored to reflect a brand's values and aesthetics, they resonate deeply with audiences and achieve high levels of digital engagement. This shift suggests a future in which digital personas become as influential as real-life celebrities.
Blurring Reality with the Virtual World
The integration of virtual and physical realms is further evident in collaborations between luxury brands and virtual platforms. Gucci’s foray into Roblox with Gucci Town exemplifies this trend. Gucci Town allows users to outfit their avatars in exclusive virtual Gucci items, merging the allure of high fashion with the playful, imaginative environment of a virtual world. This isn't simply a marketing gimmick; it’s a strategic move that leverages digital spaces to expand Gucci’s brand presence and connect with the younger generation increasingly immersed in online environments.
These virtual experiences are blurring the lines between the real and digital worlds, redefining our perception of value and exclusivity. Virtual fashion items are no longer confined to digital storefronts but are gradually being integrated into daily lives through gaming platforms, social media, and even workplace environments.
Virtual Try-Ons: Revolutionizing Online Shopping
Another groundbreaking development in digital fashion is the rise of virtual try-on technology, transforming how people shop online. Google’s Virtual Try-On feature uses generative AI to showcase how clothing might look on individuals with different skin tones, body shapes, and sizes. This powerful technology allows users to preview how clothing items drape, fold, and fit, creating a more informed shopping experience that resembles in-person shopping.
Similarly, Amazon Fashion’s Virtual Try-On for Shoes offers a 360-degree view, helping customers make more confident purchases and reduce the likelihood of returns. As virtual try-ons become increasingly sophisticated, they address a key limitation of online shopping by giving consumers a more tangible sense of how an item would look in real life.
NFTs and the Rise of Digital Collectibles
The rise of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) has introduced the concept of digital ownership, and brands are quickly capitalizing on this new trend. Nike, for example, launched its platform .SWOOSH, a community-driven space where digital sneaker drops are unveiled. In May 2023, Nike introduced its first digital collection, Our Force 1 (OF1), a tribute to 50 years of Air Force Ones. Each digital sneaker is essentially an NFT, meaning the owner possesses a unique, virtual Nike collectible.
These digital sneakers aren’t merely pixels; they come with 3D files that can be utilized across platforms, including games. For sneakerheads and collectors, this concept of digital exclusivity is a novel experience that fuses fandom with the potential of reselling or showcasing rare digital items, blurring the lines between virtual fashion and real-world collectibles.
AI-Powered Shopping Tools: A Smarter Way to Shop
AI-powered virtual styling tools are revolutionizing how consumers shop for clothes by providing personalized recommendations. For instance, the Styleriser tool allows users to upload a picture of themselves to receive AI-driven style suggestions tailored to their unique features. According to CEO Mark Hunsmann, Styleriser boosts purchasing confidence by as much as 80%, as consumers feel more assured about their choices before making a purchase. The tool also promotes sustainability by reducing the number of returns, thus benefiting both businesses and the environment.
With AI-driven tools becoming more widespread, consumers now have access to highly personalized shopping experiences. These advancements represent an evolution in digital retail, moving towards a future in which artificial intelligence serves as a personal stylist for each individual.
AI Celebrities and Marketing Campaigns
AI isn’t only revolutionizing how we shop but also how brands market their products. Lenskart, a popular eyewear retailer, launched a campaign inspired by K-pop in 2023 featuring Astro IRIS, a virtual K-pop band created entirely through AI. Astro IRIS’s digital members—Jiang, Dawn, Valentine, and Lyla—sport Lenskart’s new collection, appealing to global fans of South Korean pop culture. This strategy allows Lenskart to tap into the massive fan base of K-pop without the logistical and financial limitations of a traditional celebrity endorsement.
The Ethical Implications of Virtual Beauty Standards
As virtual influencers gain popularity, a new ethical question arises: How are these digital avatars impacting real-world beauty standards? Avatars like Lil Miquela, with seemingly flawless features, are reshaping societal expectations of beauty, often setting unrealistic standards. Critics argue that digital personas may contribute to self-esteem issues and unrealistic self-image expectations.
Yet, the allure of these virtual characters is undeniable. As they become increasingly embedded in popular culture, society faces the challenge of balancing the benefits of digital innovation with the need for healthy, realistic portrayals of beauty.
Conclusion: A Digital Runway for the Future
Digital fashion is redefining the fashion landscape, from virtual try-ons to AI-powered styling and NFT collectibles. As brands like DressX, Gucci, and Nike innovate in the digital space, they are not only expanding their markets but also transforming how we think about fashion, ownership, and personal identity. In this new era, the distinction between physical and virtual becomes blurred, enabling an unprecedented level of personalization and engagement. The digital runway is open, and it promises a future where fashion is as limitless as our imaginations.

From Quantum Computing to Infinite Possibilities: My Journey and Philosophical Reflections:
Part I: The Raw Journey
My Quantum Computing Journey
It all started with a YouTube video—IBM Quantum Computer—and from there, I let myself daydream. On my birthday, I treated myself, imagining owning my own business. In my secret fantasies, I often envision a family-owned business. And when I dream, I dream BIG! I also purchased the Black Opal certificate program on my birthday. Momentum came to a halt when I hit a speed bump—a roadblock, really—realizing my lack of physics knowledge. I’ve never taken a physics or calculus class, which threw me off course. Yet my mind constantly wanders, as I juggle business ideas and a golden opportunity (GOLD!). I wondered if I was accomplishing anything at all, especially while managing constant pain and recurring mental health challenges.
April 2024: 1 day spent learning quantum computing, and 1 day spent researching quantum computing stocks and deciding which ones to invest in.
November 2023: 5 intense days full of creative bursts and sparks of imagination. These sessions lasted around 20 minutes, but I spent an hour or so watching videos, mostly rewinding and learning, trying to focus and absorb everything.
October 2023: 8 days spent actively trying to connect my ideas into practical code, but I struggled without a background in coding. I sought help from various AI tools, and my favorite quickly became ChatGPT. It was a learning curve, figuring out prompts and writing them in ways that gave me better results. After reaching my limit, I turned to Azure, Microsoft, and eventually Q#.
P.S. This is to keep track of my interests and knowledge of quantum mechanics. I’ve never taken calculus or physics, but I love to think and learn. This is my approach to quantum theory, and I plan to continue learning by taking those courses in the future.
String theory—the way I visualize it—is like picturing a baseball wrapped in yarn, where the ball of yarn is still there. That’s how I see the multiverse and the 4th and higher dimensions existing all at once, interconnected with each other. This is how I explain time travel and the “ripples” or ways of splitting and not coming back, as well as going back and forth, seeing subtle changes. It’s how I understand phenomena like the Mandela Effect and even concepts like the Earth being flat when I explain it philosophically.

What Is the Latest Most Important Trend in Digital Marketing?
Tumblr media
In the rapidly evolving landscape of digital marketing, staying updated with the latest trends is essential for businesses aiming to remain competitive. As we look into 2023, one trend stands out as particularly transformative: the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). This trend is not just a passing fad; it fundamentally changes how businesses engage with consumers, analyze data, and optimize their marketing strategies.
The Rise of AI and Machine Learning in Digital Marketing
What Are AI and Machine Learning?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines programmed to think and learn. Machine learning, a subset of AI, involves algorithms that allow systems to learn from data, identify patterns, and make decisions with minimal human intervention.
Why Is This Trend Important?
Enhanced Customer Insights: AI and ML enable marketers to analyze vast amounts of consumer data in real-time, uncovering valuable insights about customer behavior, preferences, and trends. This data-driven approach allows for more informed decision-making and more effective marketing strategies.
Personalization at Scale: With AI, brands can offer highly personalized experiences to users. Algorithms can analyze individual customer behavior to provide tailored recommendations, content, and advertisements, significantly enhancing engagement and conversion rates.
Automation of Marketing Processes: AI-powered tools can automate repetitive marketing tasks, such as email marketing campaigns, social media scheduling, and customer segmentation. This not only saves time but also allows marketers to focus on strategic planning and creative efforts.
Predictive Analytics: AI can help businesses anticipate future trends and consumer behavior through predictive analytics. By analyzing historical data, companies can identify patterns and make proactive decisions, improving campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Chatbots and Customer Service: AI-driven chatbots are revolutionizing customer service by providing instant support and answering queries 24/7. This enhances the customer experience and allows businesses to handle a high volume of inquiries without additional manpower.
How to Implement AI and Machine Learning in Your Marketing Strategy
Invest in AI Tools: Explore AI-powered marketing platforms that offer analytics, customer relationship management (CRM), and automation features. Popular options include HubSpot, Salesforce, and Adobe Experience Cloud.
Utilize Chatbots: Implement AI-driven chatbots on your website or social media platforms to provide real-time assistance to customers. Ensure the chatbot is designed to handle common inquiries and direct users to human agents when necessary.
Leverage Predictive Analytics: Use AI algorithms to analyze customer data and predict future trends. This information can guide your marketing strategies and help you tailor your offerings to meet consumer needs.
Focus on Personalization: Collect data on customer behavior and preferences to create personalized experiences. Use AI to segment your audience and deliver targeted content and recommendations based on their interests.
Continuously Optimize: Monitor the performance of your AI-driven strategies regularly. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and adjust your tactics accordingly to enhance engagement and conversions.
Other Emerging Trends in Digital Marketing
While AI and machine learning are leading the charge, several other trends are gaining traction in the digital marketing sphere:
Video Content Dominance: Video marketing continues to rise, with platforms like TikTok and YouTube becoming central to brand strategies. Engaging video content helps capture attention and drive engagement.
Voice Search Optimization: As voice-activated devices become more common, optimizing content for voice search is crucial. Brands need to adapt their SEO strategies to accommodate conversational queries.
Sustainability and Social Responsibility: Consumers are increasingly drawn to brands that prioritize sustainability and ethical practices. Digital marketing campaigns that showcase a commitment to social responsibility resonate well with modern consumers.
Omnichannel Marketing: Creating a seamless customer experience across multiple channels is vital. Businesses are integrating their marketing efforts across platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement.
Conclusion
As digital marketing continues to evolve, the integration of AI and machine learning stands out as the most important trend in 2023. By leveraging these technologies, businesses can gain deeper insights, enhance personalization, and optimize their marketing strategies for better engagement and ROI.

Why Video Content is the Future of Online Learning: The Role of AI in 2024
Tumblr media
As the world moves toward more and more digital solutions, one trend is becoming increasingly clear: video content is dominating the online learning space. According to a report by Cisco, it's expected that over 82% of all internet traffic will be video by 2025, and a great chunk of that growth is brought about by education. With the rise of e-learning platforms and digital classrooms, educators and businesses are finding that video content isn't just engaging-it's effective. However, it's not about just the video; rather, it's about how we're creating it. Welcome AI, turning video content production into something easier, faster, and more accessible.
In this blog, we explain why video content is the future of online learning, and how AI is going to change this landscape in 2024.
The Power of Video in Learning People love videos, and there's a reason why YouTube, TikTok, and even Instagram are so popular. Video content has this knack for commanding attention, retaining engagement, and communicating information in ways that text alone can't. This is especially true when it comes to education. Research shows that people retain about 95% of a message when watching it in a video compared to just 10% when reading it in text form.
It also activates learning. Be it an explainer video, a tutorial, or a lecture, the concepts come alive, and learners can review, repeat, or fast-forward through content at their own will. For example, consider that a study undertaken by Wyzowl indicates 69% of people would prefer to learn about a product or service through video; this again relates to educational content.
And the trend is unmistakable: learners want video. So, it is no surprise that a full 94% of educators said they are using video in their classrooms, per the EdTech Video Usage Report 2023. The challenge? Producing high-quality video content at scale is no mean feat-at least, it wasn't until AI entered the frame.
How AI Is Revolutionizing Video Production for Learning AI is currently disrupting all industries, from health care to finance. It would not be an exception in education. AI integrated into video production removes barriers and democratizes the creation process. You no longer have to use a full production team, high-end equipment, or advanced editing skills to create engaging, education-rich videos. AI streamlines the process to be cost-effective and even fun.
Faster Production Times The most challenging part of video creation for online learning has always been the time taken to actually produce it. If not days, it may take weeks to create a professional-quality video, right from scripting down to filming, editing, and post-production. Educators in fast-paced industries have to keep up with overnight trends, and that requires churning out content as quickly as possible.
That is where AI steps in. AI video generators can take a simple script and transform it into a finished video in a fraction of the time. As an example, instead of manually editing clips and transitions, AI can analyze the actual content of a script and automatically match it with the right visuals, audio, and effects. This means something that would otherwise have taken days to do with a team could be easily done in a few hours if not minutes. In fact, a report by Gartner considers that companies can reduce the production time of content by as much as 60% with the use of AI.
Economical Solutions Until recently, high-quality video creation was expensive. Hiring videographers, renting equipment, and purchasing editing software licenses add up fast. Tech Jury estimated that even just one minute of professional video creation can range from $1,000 to $10,000 or more, depending on the quality and what is included. For many educators, small businesses, and even larger institutions, that cost can be prohibitive.
AI-driven video creation changes the game. AI can drastically cut down the costs of video production by automating the most time-consuming tasks, thus making it more accessible to all. MarketsandMarkets reports that the global AI in education market will grow from $1.1 billion in 2020 to $3.7 billion by 2025, due to this potential cost-saving primarily. That means the adoption of the AI-powered video tool for creating their online learning materials will be more frequent come 2024.
Personalized Learning Experiences The most important thing in education, though, is personalization, and with video content, it is no different. This can also be deduced from the fact that 80% of consumers are more likely to engage with content when it's personalized based on their needs. In an educational context, personalized videos can enhance learner engagement by making the material much more relevant and easy to understand.
AI can have educators create multiple versions of a single video to meet the variety of learning styles, speeds, and preferences with ease. For example, some students may require a slow-paced, highly detailed video, but others may appreciate the ability to quickly view a fast overview with resources for follow-up exploration. The beauty is that AI does all that work for the educator automatically. That means educators can adapt their teaching to meet individual learning needs without needing to create multiple videos from scratch.
Also, AI may support adaptive learning where the content dynamically changes depending on how well a student is mastering the content. If a student is weak in a particular concept, AI may recommend extra videos or perhaps modify the content to suit that particular student better.
Better Engagement Due to Interactivity Engagement is very crucial in online learning. A learner would easily move to something else or get disconnected if they are staring at the screen for a pretty long period of time. Artificial intelligence, on the other hand, allows instructors to make more interactive and engaging video content.
Engagement through interactive videos really provides a platform where learners might click some elements, answer some questions, or choose different paths. Hence, interactive video becomes an increasingly emergent feature in this e-learning world. According to Kaltura, "90% of students believe that interactive video helps improve their learning experience." With the introduction of AI-which can enable interaction features in a very short time-the educator now has the ability to turn static video lessons into engaging and dynamic experiences.
For example, in a biology lesson, students may learn about the functions of a virtual plant by clicking on its different parts. Or, in history, they might be given a choice of which historical figure to follow, each one leading them along a different narrative path. AI allows for this level of personalization and interactivity without extreme programming.
The Role of AI in the Future of Online Learning Undoubtedly, the future of online learning is inextricably bound up with the future of video content, and AI will continue to play an ever-more-eminent role in how that content is created and consumed. As AI technology continues to evolve, it is likely to enable more advanced tools capable not only of automating video production but also of enhancing the overall learning experience.
For instance, AI may allow real-time feedback in video lessons, adjusting the content based on immediate responses of students. We can also expect AI tools to let educators create virtual reality, or VR and AR learning experiences, in almost no effort at all. Imagine students being able to virtually "travel" to different parts of the world in an immersive video while on a lesson about geography-this is something AI can make possible.
Conclusion Going into 2024, it's safe to say that video is here to dominate in the field of online learning. Combining the generally engaging nature of video with AI capabilities in streamlining and personalizing the creation process changes everything for educators, students, and businesses alike. Using the right tool, exceptional educational videos require no big budget or technical knowledge to create. AI makes video creation easier, quicker, and more accessible than ever, which means creators can free up their time for what really matters: creating impactful and engaging content to help others succeed.

commission statued reminded PART 2
As from 2023- to 2024, as of now....
I will be beginning helping out with the art community scene and on behalf of the OC x Canon community scene officially, despite the rise of AI, which is taking over the world because of the lack of videos and art that is start crash falling everywhere online, as things not looking good expected for the online scene.....
What is sad in the reality is that people don't like to do commission stuff, because self-ish and various of things on, people have a career and dreams and things to do officially. Also moment of saying, although that people are trying to do a following dedication also.....
Now that people are using AI to make art and videos, so much more- so, I decided to help the community of the art scene to save it and put a stop on AI to prevent things from happening until AI needs to stop and completely completely.
The right thing to do by paying artists on commission, and on behalf try to make the OC x Canon couple remembered scene be stronger and be remembered- which people need to do also, despite the fact time has changed-people accuse the OC x Canon couple's saying it jealously and cancer and controversy, while it isn't, but it people opinions...
It is also sad that people don't look up on decent creator like myself included-who are trying to the best what they want to do, especially doing a career for them self and dreams-could not catch up to those, which in currently I'm doing my process, and I'm doing a following about myself doing a following about me upon my fanbase- now it's becoming stable and currently strong as it is and getting things straighten up onto my discord server group-thus it is sad that there aren't people whom I met (kept in touch and etc.) don't have discord nor use those (it fine but that their choice), now that my discord server groups is finally straightened up the mess completely where it originally started..........
Alot of make it up big time over last decades ago I did not like to do commission, but over many years to now, it is time that I need to do the right thing and save the art community and keep it stronger as ever.. alot of making it up to do, since 2023 I learn how to do this till now...........................
A lot of made it up big time over the last decade ago, I did not like to do commissions, but over many years to now, it is time that I need to do the right thing and save the art community and keep it stronger than ever. Alot of making it up to do, since 2023 I learn how to do this till now...........................
, now, I have paid off to my close friends/ close folk whom I speak to sometimes, paying less much money, and now I'm poor again that is result the matter, in the future I will do more things for the need of my help and the two community that I'm helping them strongly-it can be the same with other things on common/ hobbies officially too.
I'm trying to be stronger and more intense strict to get everything stepped up,. That would have been what happened in 2005-06 are when I first came online, as online things aren't doing great to expectations. It is sad....
It is also a making up from last decades ago I wasn't a big fan of commission online paid art since then, but I was open of doing commission art paid on convention event which I prefer that better....
I would do a YouTube video update if something came up about this whole decline and downhill uses and things on another date.....
For now, I'm slowly trying to get back into creation work,, slowly remaking old OCS art and doing fewer new OCs of mine........... seems what is going.
Currently, now I'm doing only little amount of commission paid only between 1 and 30 sometime 40 buck amount dollar to do commission, until after November and December......   Two events I'm going to.   For now...

European Union putting in more totalitarian rules–yes 666 is coming
@bible-news-prophecy-radio
COGwriter
The European Union keeps making new rules in its attempt to be the lead in setting standards for the world related to control of the internet and other matters:
How EU Law Has Made The Internet Less Free For Everyone Else
April 30, 2024
If you have been using the internet for longer than a couple of years, you might have noticed that it used to be much “freer.”
What freer means in this context is that there was less censorship and less stringent rules regarding copyright violations on social media websites …
EU regulations played a part in bringing it about. The first important piece of regulation we will deal with is the Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market that came out in 2019. Article 17 of this directive states that online content-sharing service platforms are liable for the copyrighted content that is posted on their websites if they do not have a license for said content. To be exempt from liability, the websites must show that they exerted their best efforts to ensure that copyrighted content does not get posted on their sites, cooperated expeditiously to take the content down if posted, and took measures to make sure the content does not get uploaded again. If these websites were ever in a place to be liable for even a significant minority of the content uploaded to them, the financial ramifications would be immense.
Due to this regulation, around the same period, YouTube and many other sites strengthened their policy regarding copyrighted content, and ever since then—sometimes rightfully, sometimes wrongfully—content creators have been complaining about their videos getting flagged for copyright violations.
Another EU regulation that is of note for our topic is the Digital Services Act that came out in 2023. The Digital Services Act is a regulation that defines very large online platforms and search engines as platform sites with more than forty-five million active monthly users and places specific burdens on these sites along with the regulatory burden that is eligible for all online platforms. … The vagueness of terms such as “hate speech” and “disinformation” allows the EU to influence the recommendation algorithms and terms of service of these websites and to keep any content that goes against their “ideals” away from the spotlight or away from these websites entirely. … supranational bodies such as the EU and the EU Commission have vested political incentives and are influenced by many lobbies, which may render their decisions regarding what is the “truth” and what is “disinformation” to be faulty at best and deliberately harmful at worst. …
Another important thing to note is that just because it is the EU that makes these regulations does not change the fact that it affects everyone in the world. …
One final issue of importance is the fact that the EU is investing in new technologies such as artificial intelligence programs to “tackle disinformation” and to check the veracity of content posted online. An important example of this is the InVID project, which is in its own words “a knowledge verification platform to detect emerging stories and assess the reliability of newsworthy video files and content spread via social media.”
If you are at all worried about the state of the internet as explained in this article, know that this potential development may lead to the EU doing all of the things described here in an even more “effective” manner in the future. https://www.zerohedge.com/political/how-eu-law-has-made-internet-less-free-everyone-else
Last month, the EU went for regulation of Artificial Intelligence (see CNBC: World’s first major act to regulate AI passed by European lawmakers).
Since from at least as far back as 2007, I have warned that the the EU wants to set standards for the world (e.g see EU-USA trade deal feared to result in loss of USA sovereignty: But end result will be worse)–what it has just done related to Artificial Intelligence is another step towards that.
While European Union leaders want to project the idea that their new rules will “would enable innovation, while safeguarding fundamental rights,” they will tend to have the opposite affect.
Regulations tend to stifle innovation, governments tend to override fundamental rights (and can change the rules, ignore the rules, and/or interpret them differently than their intent), whereas AI will help governments be able to increase surveillance over society as well as individuals.
What the new rules really are look to be another prelude to 666.
Do not believe that human rights will be properly protected, no matter what the promoters of these rules may indicate.
The Bible shows that more improper censorship is coming:
11 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord. 12 They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord, But shall not find it.  (Amos 8:11-12)
As far as totalitarian steps in Europe go, notice also the following:
European Union Grabs More Power: Are We Heading Back to a Communist Future?
April 29, 2024
The Spanish government will expropriate beachfront real estate and “let the owners use it” for 30 years. …
Owning property in Spain at this point is, in my opinion, irresponsible.
And to anyone who responds with, “Oh, but I don’t own beachfront real estate,” you are completely missing the point. You really think they’re going to stop there? Good luck to you if you do. …
The PM signaled that his administration would “start the procedure to eliminate the granting of the so-called golden visa, which allows access to the residence regime when more than half a million euros are invested in real estate. We are going to take the necessary measures to guarantee that housing is a right and not a mere speculative business.
That last reference to housing being a “right” is straight out of the idiot’s guide to Marxism.
Imagine a country run as a business, and in this country you invite boat loads (literally) of uneducated folks, almost exclusively men of military age from cultures drastically different and in many instances entirely antithetical to those of the society they now live in. They come predominantly for social benefits. We know this based on the numbers of those still on welfare checks many years after arriving.
While this is going on, you then begin eliminating the incentives to attract capital. …
What could possibly go wrong? https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2024-04-29/european-union-grabs-more-power-are-we-heading-back-communist-future
What could go wrong?
Well, according to the Bible, Europe will reorganize to become a dictatorship:
12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)
Related to change coming to Europe, notice also the following:

Western liberal hegemony has failed and must be destroyed, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated on Thursday, suggesting it could end as soon as this year.
Addressing the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC Hungary) in Budapest, Orban criticized the existing “world order based on progressive liberal hegemony,” saying it has spawned numerous figureheads who are “not fit to be leaders,” with even “beauty pageants” knowing more about peace then they do.
He accused liberal politicians of building “hegemonic ideological control to which everyone must submit” instead of actual governing, while turning “state bodies into tools of oppression.” Such forces are a dangerous enemy whose time is coming to an end, Orban claimed.
“The progressive liberals sense the danger, the end of this era also means their end,” the prime minister argued. Their dominance could be overcome as soon as this year, Orban predicted, citing the upcoming EU Parliament and US presidential elections. https://www.rt.com/news/596567-orban-liberal-world-order-over/
Notice that Viktor Orban is calling for Europe to reorganize.
And he is not alone (see also European Union parliament election sentiment shifting to ‘the right’–setting the stage for the coming reorganizations of Revelation 17:12-13?).
Europe will reorganize, but it will end up with a totalitarian dictator.
Much is happening and privacy, financial and otherwise, is being lost. Europe is trying to rise up.
We also know that financial controls are coming to Europe. Related to 666 and controls, the Apostle John was told by Jesus to write the following:
15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:15-18)
666 is the final revival of the Roman Empire. Hence, 666 is a European power. When Jesus had the Apostle John pen this 1900+ years ago, there was no way to monitor most buying and selling. With computer software, including AI, much is already being done, and more will be done. A totalitarian system is being put in place. Europe wants to lead it.
As far as 666 pointing to the Roman Empire, the first writing that has been found that suggests that a Roman, or Roman empire, is 666 was by Irenaeus, who claimed to have listened to Polycarp when he (Irenaeus) was a young man. Irenaeus wrote:
Then also Lateinos (LATEINOS) has the number six hundred and sixty-six; and it is a very probable [solution], this being the name of the last kingdom [of the four seen by Daniel]. For the Latins are they who at present bear rule: (Irenaeus. Adversus haereses, Book V, Chapter 30, Verse 3. Excerpted from Ante-Nicene Fathers, Volume 1. Edited by Alexander Roberts & James Donaldson. American Edition, 1885).
The New Testament was written in Greek, and John penned the Book of Revelation on the Greek speaking island of Patmos (Revelation 1:9). They still speak Greek there. Anyway, adding up the values of the Greek letters for the word Lateinos brings you to 666:
 L = 30lambdaA = 1alphaT = 300tauE = 5epsilonI = 10iotaN = 50nuO = 70omicronS = 200sigma——–666
This is consistent with what the old Worldwide Church of God taught:
In the 2nd century A.D., Irenaeus, disciple of Polycarp, the Apostle John’s disciple, explained that in Greek the word Lateinos — meaning “Latin man” or Roman — adds up to 666. (L = 30; A = 1; T = 300; E = 5; I = 10; N = 50; 0 = 70; S = 200) This, he stated, was the, intent of the scripture.
The number 666 is thus anciently branded on the old Roman Empire and its revivals. (Stump KW. Just What Do You Mean… ANTICHRIST? Plain Truth, September 1981)
Specifically 666 is the number of the first beast in Revelation 13 as distinguished from the Antichrist, who is the second, the two-horned beast, in the same chapter. And as Revelation 13 shows, the two-horned beast works with, and promotes, the seven-headed (and ten-horned) first beast in that chapter. While some have tried to state that the number is actually 616 and not 666:
the earliest extant Greek manuscripts of Revelation visually represented the number 666 either in longhand number- words (hexakosioi hexēkonta hex), or in alphabetic shorthand (χξϛ). (Winkl RE. Recalculating the Number of the Beast in Revelation 13:18. 2019 SBL INTERNATIONAL MEETING ABSTRACTS, July 2, 2019)
Yes, the number is 666. A number of imperfect humankind.
That said, please understand that the leader of the ten-horned Beast of Revelation 13:1-10 (see Europa, the Beast, and the Book of Revelation) and the one called 666 in Revelation 13:10 is also the one who is the final King of the North. He is also called the ‘man of sin’ in 2 Thessalonians 2 (see also Who is the Man of Sin of 2 Thessalonians 2?).
Steps towards 666 in Europe are taking place.
Are YOU paying attention? Things are changing and will not remain as they have.
Remember to pray, as Jesus said (Matthew 6:10), for God’s Kingdom to come.
