Battle Baby

Set during the plane scene in Origins because that scene has a chokehold on us at the moment

Victor got on to the plane with his brother smiling. He enjoyed their line of work sure it was gruesome at times but it thrilled the inner beast in him to sink his claws into something nothing could beat the feeling of that right?

It didn’t take long before he heard their annoyingly talkative teammate Wade speak up.

“You know I love this sword more than anything in the world. You know why that is?”

Wade spoke while sharpening the katana blade.

“No.”

Victor half growls while Logan looks up from having his head between his legs.

“It’s memorable. Sure it’s bulky and hard to get on a plane. But you whip out a couple of swords at your ex-girlfriend's wedding and they will never, ever forget it.”

Victor scoffs.

“That’s funny Wade, I think you confuse me with someone who gives a shit.”

“Right it’s probably not as intimidating as a gun or bone claws or the fingernails of an old bag lady.”

Victor gives Wade a threatening smile extending his claws a bit ready to attack the annoying man across from him.

“Manicure?”

Wade asks, taking out his classic baby knife.

“Victor. Easy.”

Logan spoke up through gritted teeth. It was in that moment that Victor felt a strange protective pull he could tell his brother was not just uncomfortable from flying but he was feeling much more off. Logan was regressed and far from being battle ready. He growls a bit when Wade goes to talk to Logan.

“Aww does the Honey Badger not like flying?”

Wade asks as the plane goes to land.

“If we were meant to fly we would grow wings.”

Logan mumbles.

“Don’t worry Nancy, more people die driving than they do flying.”

Agent Zero spoke with a joking tone that sort of leaves a sour taste in Victor’s mouth. Oh how he wants to rip the smile off of that guy's face cause no one makes jokes about Jimmy's fears but him.

“Jimmy ease up a bit.”

Victor’s voice sounds in Logan’s ear trying to get the younger feral to relax.

“I’m here, I ain't going nowhere. I’ll tear anything and anyone apart before I ever go anywhere without you.”

He keeps speaking in the younger’s ear to get him to stop clawing at the seat. Logan just gives a low growl in response he is far too terrified right now to listen to reasoning but he also wants Victor or hell he’ll even take Wade’s excessive yapping anything to keep his mind off of the fact they are thousands of feet off the ground.

“M not scared Vic back off.”

Despite his words his bone claws come out and he grips the seat tighter.

“I got you baby brother.”

Victor spoke, placing a hand on Logan’s shoulder rubbing soft circles into the younger's shoulder.

“That’s it, focus on me and ignore everything else.”

Victor kept speaking as he watched how the fear and tense slowly left the other the more he spoke. The instant the plane hit the ground Logan was the first to bolt off of it.

“Jimmy slow down!!”

Victor commanded, to which the other’s on the plane saw that Logan surprisingly listened, slowing down and letting the older feral wrap him up in a hug.

“You good now Jimmy? Is my little wolf okay?”

Victor asked him very quietly and he waited for a nod before letting go and letting Logan complete the mission at hand.

"What the actual fuck."

Logan had been around for a long time. He’d seen a lot, and ‘a lot’ was plenty enough for him. But despite it all, nothing could’ve prepared him for this. Laid out before him on the porch of his cabin was a gutted little fawn. It must have been a fresh kill, evident by the bright red trail of blood tainting the snow as it came out of the forest.

Aside from the overwhelming smell of iron, there was another scent in the air. "Creed," Logan thought. And he’d have thought right, as he stepped outside to look around, finding Victor sat bloody on his porch, just out of view from the doorway.

"It’s not my birthday, bub." Logan began. "So what the hell is this?" He asked, gesturing to the deer. He’d have expected a horrible display like this on his birthday, but today was far from his special day. He needed answers.

Victor only huffed, as he attempted to wipe his mouth, smearing the blood on his face instead. "Gift." He said, making no effort to elaborate.

Logan clenched his jaw, quickly losing patience. "What’s the occasion?" He asked, extending his claws with their signature snikt.

"Birthday," Victor replied.

"Ain’t my birth--"

"Not yours; mine." Victor quickly interrupted with a grunt.

"What?" Logan was taken aback. Victor never seemed to him like he was the type to celebrate his own birthday. The only time he seemed enthusiastic about a birthday was when it was Logan’s. "You’ve gotta be shittin’ me." Logan scoffed. "Gifts go the other way around, you know that, right, bub? So why the hell am I gettin’ the fresh meat?"

"Wasn’t thinkin’." Victor replied, his words slightly slurred.

"Yeah, no shit!" Logan wanted to cut him up and throw him off his property, but he restrained himself. "What the hell’s up with you? You sound like you’re hyperventilating." He retracted his claws after some hesitation and walked over to the other mutant. "God, you look like shit."

Victor growled at the comment. "‘m fine," He spat. Logan could easily tell that Victor wasn’t fine; far from it, in fact, but he couldn’t see any noticeable injuries on him.

Logan sighed, crouching down in front of Victor. "Look at me," he demanded. When Victor didn’t look, Logan grabbed his jaw and forcefully lifted his head. "Look. At. Me." He repeated before letting go. Victor kept his head up and the two stared at each other in silence for some time.

Logan carefully scanned Victor from head to toe, taking in the other’s unusual behavior. Victor kept fiddling with his hands and tugging at his clothes as though he needed to keep his hands busy. He couldn’t seem to sit still.

After a moment of silent thought, Logan spoke. "How old ya turnin’, bub?" He asked with an unusual softness in his tone. He knew what this was; some students at the school had shared their own experiences with it. Logan never thought he’d see the day, but here Victor was, regressed.

"Doesn’t matter." Victor retorted, hugging his knees close to his chest.

"Matters to me." Logan said warmly as he sat down in front of the other. "Gotta know what number candles to put on your cake." He hesitantly looked over at the dead fawn. "Or, uh, your deer." He added, looking back at Victor.

Victor glanced over at the animal and then back at Logan. "Ten." He reluctantly replied, sounding not entirely sure of himself.

"‘Bout ten, then." Logan repeatedly the number given, letting it roll off his tongue as though he were testing the quality. "You’re a big kid, huh. You sure that deer will be enough to fill ya?" He asked in a teasing manner.

Victor nodded, seeming confident. "Yeah."

And Logan nodded, too. "Okay, up." He said, picking himself up and gesturing for Victor to do the same. "C’mon, birthday boy. Let’s get you some food."

"And beer?" Victor asked as he stood up.

"No beer," Logan responded, shaking his head. "Kids can’t have beer." Logan lead Victor inside, stepping around the corpse and bringing Victor over to a table. "Can’t believe you found me out here, kid. I’m impressed." He patted Victor’s back before head out to carry the deer inside. "I’ll get this ready to eat; you go wash up, okay, bub?"

"‘Kay." Victor said quietly, watching as Logan hauled his kill into the house.

"Bub," Logan paused, feeling Victor’s eyes. "Wash up." He repeated his earlier request, now sounding more like a demand. Victor lowered his gaze, mumbling something that sounded like a sorry before getting up to go to the bathroom. Logan let out a sigh of relief once he heard water running and continued hauling in the deer.

This was going to be one interesting birthday, but he’d be damned if he didn’t make it a good one for lil Vic.

Ainsell! May I ask: What are the platonic yanderes (in your fic Lost and Found) ways of handling Reaader and the others? They want to use age regression, yes, but how do the platonic yanderes go about it?

Second question: Which ones are high-key about it, which ones are in the middle, and which ones act the most normal or low-key about it?

And third: How do the ferals (Sabretooth, Wolverine, Beast, and Laura) act around Reader now? What do they plan to do with Reader? How do they try to take care of them? And how feral or alpha/beta/omega does it get?

So the way that they'll start enforcing agere is by taking away autonomy in little ways. Of course with our quad squad going through what they did they will notice the attempts and do what they can to slow or stop the attempts. This opens up an opportunity for the more manipulative of the yanderes, mainly Hank, Morph, and Gambit.

The most obvious would be Charles, Erik, Jean, Scott

The in-between are Mystique, Storm, Wanda

The least obvious would be the younger of the teens, Hank, Morph, and Gambit

But the ones who can completely blindside reader? Their own team of course! Kitty's, Kurt's, and Pietro's behaviour will be brushed aside by reader since they went through something so horrible together.

The ferals will be the most over-protective of their children, including Kitty for Logan, I plan to start going into more extreme forms of the ABO dynamics by using Laura so it's not too sudden of a shift. I also have their own route different from the others planned for them. They may be best to be with long-term but they will most likely be the most extreme of the group. I'm not too sure about that yet though.

Baby Logan and Big Bro CG Victor

Oh Yes!

This will be based on the X-Men movies and not the comics or shows

I like to believe that after Logan got his memories back they repaired their relationship

Logan first started regressing during one of the wars and Victor didn’t understand but he sure wasn’t going to let anything happen to his baby brother or let anyone say a single bad thing about it

After their falling out when Logan left sure Victor would comment on Logan going soft and such he would never say anything negative about him regressing because that’s still his baby brother

Victor is very protective of his baby brother, no one even get away with lightly teasing Logan without Victor getting his claws out

Logan has the best puppy dog eyes, and his brother is not immune to them, regardless of what Victor might tell you

This one is just canon but, he does not care how many people know him as Logan, Victor will always call his baby brother Jimmy

It’s harder now that he has an adamantium skeleton, but Logan loves getting piggyback rides and being held by his big brother

They play fight a lot, Victor usually let’s Logan win after a few minutes of tussling, on occasion he’ll give it more effort, if Logan is feeling big enough to handle it

Logan isn’t as sneaky while regressed but he likes to try to sneak up on his brother and scare him, most people probably still wouldn’t notice him, but Victor certainly can, so he pretends to get startled like big cats do when their babies practice stalking them

Logan likes to mimic his big brother a lot, if Victor swears at someone Logan will be right behind him doing the same, or the closest approximation in his baby babble
