I see a lot of people upset about William Kaplan being dead and no one mourning him cus Billy stole his body and I just don't see it that way. The kid in Wanda Vision is Billy Maximoff, The teenager at the Bar Mitzvah is William Kaplan, the Teen that got taken to the hospital after the wreck is neither and both Billy Maximoff and William Kaplan. That Teen went home with the abilities of Billy Maximoff, to the home of William Kaplan, with memories of neither and lived there for three years. He cares about Rebecca and Jeff, he lied to the to protect them from pain, they are his parents. He wants to find Tommy, he has magical powers, he wants to know who he is. All of these things are true. I wouldn't say William Kaplan is dead he just doesn't remember, like Agatha wasn't dead when he was Agnes, she just didn't remember.

During the first time watching this, I didn't really think much of Alice jumping in to try and save Agatha instead of let her be punished, but much like the last episode/last trial - Alice had to defeat her curse.

And maybe here, when Agatha is pleading not to be left alone with her Mother and promising she can be good, this is where Alice genuinely FEELS for Agatha.

Generational curses, grandmothers/mothers/daughters, wanting and needing to be good and not wanting to be the burden again and again. Alice feels for Agatha because she wants all that, too. She wants to be better by breaking the curse and the ties between past women who couldn't end it, couldn't be 'good', couldn't be 'saved'.

Alice is the Knight of Wands. Fearless, brave. And she is labelled the Knight of Wands by Lilia AFTER her own trial in THIS trial.

The Knight of Wands (reversed) can also be interpreted as a card of cancelled or delayed travel or sudden unexpected departures. And that, at the end of this episode, we do get Alice's fate. Death. Was it unexpected? The Knight of Wands reversed is also hasty and reckless and that leads into Alice's demise.

Her curse was broken (and like Rio says in a later episode when she escorts Alice to the afterlife), she died protecting someone. She fulfilled her full fate front to back.

So I saw this cute little trend and decided to do it! It was hard deciding each of these but ultimately I think this sums up my taste in characters pretty well!

I just rewatched Alice’s death and as upsetting as it was, she was really the only person who could have made Billy finally turn against Agatha and unleash his full power.

The writers set this up so perfectly, making Alice the one person who showed the most humanity towards him (besides agatha). Once she warmed up to him, it was unconditional and they always seemed to be a team.

Lilia had been relatively indifferent, and Jen just had a colder demeanor towards him. If Agatha had “accidentally” (not sure) killed one of them, Billy would have been upset but not enough to completely betray her.

Alice didn’t only die protecting agatha, her death was able to free Billy and move him forward on his journey.

Agatha All Along Tarot Reads

Episode 5 - Darkest Hour, Wake thy Power

Back again, with Lilia's tarot reads from Episode 5. There's a LOT to talk about with this episode, but other people are going to do that to death, so I'll focus on the tarot. As always, I'm an amateur, and I may get things wrong - see the edit on my post on episode 4. I've also done analysis on the cards mentioned in Episode 2 as well.

Knight Of Wands - This one is triggered when Alice goes to save Agatha by blasting her with power - and thereby triggering Agatha's magic suck power. It's a card that's absolutely referencing Alice in that moment.

At it's bare minimum, this could just be a basic, literal-ass read. Face cards tend to refer to people in your life as much as energy, and Wands are the fire suit, ergo the Protection/Fire Witch is a heroic knight.

Alice is definitely those things in the moment, but why stop there, when overanalyzing stuff is so much fun?

Knight of Wands is a lot about energy and motivation. It talks about someone who has found their passion, energy, and drive, and has the enthusiasm to move forward towards their goals. Given the events of the previous episode, I think that gives us a good idea of where Alice's head is at now. She battled the curse, came out triumphant, and now has the motivation that she'd been lacking most of her life, and the energy to finish the Road for her mother. She started to really be the Protection Witch for her Coven. It's interesting to note that of the four real Coven witches (still not sure about Sharon, Rio is something else entirely, and Teen is... ), Alice was the only one who started on the Road with all of her of her powers reliably intact. (Agatha's lost her purple, Jen's bound, Lilia's is a bit wonky) Because of the curse, and her mother's death, though, she didn't really embrace her power. Her trial changed that, and she definitely now has that Knight of Wands energy.

But the Knight of Wands is an impulsive card; in the "new project energy" vibe, it's easy to get in way too deep to quickly. Those it represents tend to be more "act first, think later". It's very much Alice's downfall; in a rush to do what is right, she makes herself vulnerable and gets hurt for it. I firmly believe that the ill-advised impulsiveness are probably what triggered the read from Lilia in the first place, even if Alice fits other aspects of the card as well.

The difference between Upright and Reversed readings on this one is.. odd, and I'm not sure how applicable it is to Alice. Both axis of the card reference impulsive thoughts and behavior, but the Reversed implies there's frustration and anger tied to an inability to properly express creative/motivated energy. And I don't think that's something we saw in Alice at that moment. It may be possible to read it as her 'misdirected energy' being the magic she blasted Agatha with, but it feels a little like a stretch. It might be more of a reference to Alice's past; a witch working dead end security jobs, blocked from doing any real good, any real craft because of a curse that made everything she touch go bad. Another possibility is that it could come into play later; despite what we saw, I don't think we're done with Alice Wu. I really hope not.

Fortelling Events

Steven Grant x divination witch female reader (Implied moon boys x fem! reader)

A/N: Please do NOT read if you have not watched episode 7 of Agatha All Along. Major Spoilers AHEAD. Happy Early Halloween 🎃! Hope you all enjoy this fic.

Summary: When you learn about the death of your divination mentor, Lilia Calderu, you are at loss. Nevertheless, your sweet boyfriend is there to comfort you through it.

For the last few days, you have had a bad feeling that something was going to happen. As a divination witch, you’ve always had that gift to be able to see beyond but have only used if and when absolutely necessary. Though another part of it had to do with the fact that having the abilities that you had made you different from everyone else.

All that changed when you sought out the help of Lilia Calderu a few years back. Despite being reluctant at first, she took you under her wing and helped you learn more about divination. Because of her, you found friendship. In fact, she was the one that told you about the love that you’d eventually find with the boys. Though at the time you didn’t believe her when she mentioned the loves of your live. Loves being more than one. In fact, you were for sure you misheard her until she begin mentioning more details here and there as you continued training with her. It would only be a few more months when she made her last prediction about your love life that you met the boys.

However, it was Steven you met first when you were at a bookstore looking for a particular book about unusual herbal teas. After that, it was only a matter of time that you met Marc and Jake did you realize that you realized that Lilia’s words were true.

You see Lilia Calderu in a Glinda the good witch costume with what you assume to be other witches, 2 women and a teen boy, surrounding her in costumes from various media .

The next thing you see is a Lilia talking to these individuals separately before telling the woman named Jennifer that she loved being a witch and shutting the doors.

Not completely understanding the situation, you know enough to know that the phrase seemed like a goodbye.

You then see seven dark figures begin to enter the room waiting to attack Lilia. As they began to move, Lilia grabbed the reversed Tower tarot card from the trial and flipped it right side up, causing the trial room to invert. Lilia and the Salem Seven plummeted into the swords on the ceiling.

After seeing those seven dark figures fall, you see Lilia seems content before letting go of the table and falling.

Not wanting to believe this is the end, you try to call out to her in hopes that she can hear you or maybe prove to yourself that this is only a figment of your imagination and that the older women is actually okay. You then hear her own voice tell you that everything will be okay. That this is how things are supposed to be, before mentioning how you will do great things.

“Lilia! Lilia! NO!!!!”

You then are awoken to Steven’s worried face. Feeling your face, you feel the tears rolling down your cheeks as well as the perspiration on your face.

“Love, are you alright? You were practically screaming bloody murder?”

“I…I…I’m fine.”

You then get up from the bed and head to the bathroom before sinking to the floor and crying for the mentor and friend that you lost. The one who you felt understood you for being what you are.

A witch with no coven.

These past few days, Steven had noticed that you hadn’t really been yourself. Though you tried to convince him otherwise, he and you had been dating long enough to know that this wasn’t your normal behavior. Nevertheless, he gave you space and kept reminding you to that he was there for you whenever you needed him.

Yet, hearing you scream in your sleep just a few moments ago told him that this problem wasn’t something minor.

After talking it out with his head mates, Marc and Jake, Steven decides to go talk to you. Knocking on the bathroom door, he begins to speak from his heart.

“Love? I don’t know what’s going on right now but whatever it is, I want to be there. Right next to you.”

Expecting for you to put up more of a fight, Steven is shocked to see you open the bathroom door. A second later, you are hugging him, breaking down as you tell him about the loss of your mentor, friend, and sister of the craft.

“…I could have done something to help her. Let her know of the visions I was having. Perhaps it would have been enough to save her.” You begin to sigh, as you wipe your tears. “For the longest time, I never thought I’d find someone that understood what I went through regarding my powers. At a young age, people thought me strange for knowing things. Now that she’s gone, I’m a witch with no coven.”

Steven shakes his head. “That’s not true, love. Though I may not be a witch or warlock, you and I are a team.” He smiles before bringing you into a side hug. “Marc and Jake said the same too. So now you officially have a coven, my love.”

You look up at him smiling. “Thank you, Steven. All three of you.”

“No problem, love”, Steven responds back. “Now, just know that I will be here to help you deal with this loss. As I said before, I’m a part of your coven. We all are.”

You lean into kiss Steven. For you are truly grateful for having him in your life as Lilia had once foretold.

As you pull back, you nuzzle into your boyfriend’s side as you think about the eccentric yet kind older woman who helped you all those years ago lead the life you currently live as a confident and capable witch.

It’s another few minutes before you and Steven get up from the bathroom floor and heading to your shared bedroom for the night.

Though it will take time to come to terms with her death, you are so glad to have a coven and family within the loves of your love.

if i had a nickel for every marvel series protagonist who.. well,

-originally just a jewish guy, but, at a certain point (in fact, right after a very jewish gathering) he was replaced in his own head by a new and separate consciousness

-specifically, it was a new manifestation of a consciousness born out of trauma, and at a much younger age

-he came close to death, or even properly died, but was brought back/saved from the brink supernaturally, and more than once

-has a story with a lot of relation to old legend, several immortals, and moon imagery

-towards the end of his journey, finds himself in a space full of nonmagical items that seem to be counterparts to the magical things he’s been dealing with, leading him to question whether all of this came from his own head

… i’d have two nickels. which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice, right?
