Y’all what if, instead of being sent to the Void, Agoti was turned into a cat.

He can’t go back to Solazar and Aldryx for multiple reasons. They wouldn’t recognize him, wouldn’t understand him because of the language barrier, and I have a headcanon that they have a superstition about black cats.

So he’s stuck on the streets. Over an eighteen month period, he’s gained a major distrust in people, for multiple reasons (some are up to you if you wanna use this or smth).

But then Tabi shows up, and since Tabi loves cats, tries and, after a slight bit of effort, takes Agoti in.

Sure, you could turn it into a Tabi x Agoti thing, it could work like that, I’m just now realizing as I type this. I just thought the idea was cute.

Duke, who is tired of being bullied for still having only a few spots checked off on vigilante bingo, decides to get even when family game night includes Never Have I Ever. Danny, who is either a friend or basically adopted family at this point, was invited.

He brings up the fact that he has never died and been brought back to life. Multiple fingers are put down, groans and complaints are made, and then they all turn to Danny when he just stares at the ground.

"If it happened more than once, do I put more fingers down? Or just the one?" he asks. The room falls silent for a few seconds before the flood of questions start.

I've been brewing this post for far too long in my drafts, but I need more doomed!Bruce and Jason throughout universes. And it is not even always about the same Jaybin, dying in the warehouse scenarios!

Sometimes Jason is just a kid, who died in front of Batman, who maybe jumped in between Batman and the villain recklessly, to keep him safe, and whose blood stuck under Bruce's nails. His face haunts him in nightmares, still.

In other realities, Bruce meets Jason as a teen, and they never even get to become father and son officially - but they slowly get into each other's lives, until something awful happens, leaving a ghost of a smirking kid stroll behind Bruce's hunched figure for the rest of his life.

Or maybe it is one of these realities, where Jason crawls out of the Alley Crime himself, and manages to become famous in Gotham; the one, where he opens a charity fond, dedicated to people, who fight with the drug addiction. Bruce Wayne is sympathetic of a kid he meets during some of the events, and as they slowly start contacting each other more often, getting closer, he promises himself to protect him. Expect, Batman is late to save Jason Todd from the hands of yet another villain.

It could be the priest Jason Todd that meets bleeding out Batman on the stairs of the church, and who helps him out, for what he later pays with his life. Or they are not really vigilantes in any of these universes - just father and son.

And in some of these universes, they reconcile. In one of them, some of the medics connect the dots that a catatonic boy, who is covered in dirt, calling for his dad, for Bruce is Bruce's Wayne dead son, and try calling him. In another, LoA!Jason with his memory still being in a haze, crosses his path with Batman, before getting dipped in the Lazarus Pit.

But the point stands.

In all of them, Bruce Wayne is too late. In all of them, Bruce Wayne fails to save Jason Todd.

To summarize, the Disney Pinocchio's message to children is, "Obey parental authority," but its message to parents is, "Your authority is not enough to save your child."

You can't expect your child to blindly obey without explanation just because you're in charge. If you do, they'll be led astray by villains who do explain. You can't treat your child like a puppet who will obey your commands. You have to treat them as a person with a mind and heart so you can teach them why they should obey the rules and value the things you want them to value. If you send them out helpless and ignorant into the world, you could doom them to a terrible fate. It's your responsibility to teach them to recognize and avoid evil even when you're not around, so they can avoid learning by painful experience

I've got this image of Dad!Tsu’tey from my Father-son-shenanigans AU turning up in ATWOW during the aftermath of the SeaDragon, specifically on that one rock. And he has no idea how he ended up there, but whilst Jake and Neytiri are quaking at the sudden appearance of their dead friend (visibly aged from the joys of fatherhood), Spider pops out of the ocean.

Naturally, Tsu'tey only has eyes for his son, and immediately gets launched head first into Protective!Dad mode at the state of him. He looks like a drowned rat, has several sluggishly bleeding cuts along his body, his stripes are faded more than his Spider ever allows. Not to mention, his dreads are matted at the scalp and are in desperate need of a retwist. But most alarming of all, none of his other family members (The Sully's) seem to remember to check on him in their shock of discovering Tsu'tey's presence.

Since no one else seems to be bothering, Tsu'tey helps Spider out of the water, noting the shock on the boy's face as he hesitantly takes Tsu'tey's outstretched hand.

<"Are you okay?"> Tsu'tey asks, as he has done for countless years. And horrifyingly, instead of Spider replying with "yes Dad," or "no Dad" Tsu'tey gets a-

<"Yes sir.">

Spider has never referred to Tsu'tey as 'sir' before. It's either 'Olo'eyktan' when he's in a mood and wants to get under Tsu'tey's skin, or 'Dad'.

<"Sir?"> Tsu'tey repeats with a curl of his nose. <"Who the hell is sir? I am Dad to you. I have always been Dad to you."> And of course, Tsu'tey is dead in this universe, and Spider has no clue who this strange forest na'vi is. Not to mention he's had a very long and emotional day surrounding another father figure.

<"Dude, I have no idea who you are.">

Cue:

Tsu'tey from my Dad!Tsu'tey AU looking at Spider in our ATWOW: "Watch out kid because you're about to get the strongest and most stable support system any clan has ever seen."

BONUS:

If Spider were to admit to Tsu'tey that Quaritch is alive (he's only known the man for an hour but Eywa does he trust him to keep Neytiri from mauling him):

Side Note: Tsu'tey has it all under control, and now has recruited Neytiri to go hunt down that dead beat dad.

Not enough people talk about how Miles called out for Peter while Miguel was slamming him down on the train. A part of Miles still trusted and was looking for safety in Peter, at least enough to think he could’ve helped him…

The Rin & Kabru timeline is truly wild when you look at it. The Island dungeon was discovered at 508. They didn't leave home for two more years, and didn't arrive on the Island until the year after that. Even if you assume they left late in 510 and arrived early in 511 I would say that is probably at least a month of traveling together, if not significantly more. And then Kabru is trying to look for someone else to support in conquering the dungeon, and they don't form a party and start exploring themselves until 512.

That's like 1.5-2 years pretty much just the two of them, living outside of the elven lands for the first time since they were small children?? I know that Kabru is good at navigating new social environments, but even so. That's such a big chunk of time to only have each other.

I found that the warren of paths in the walls was more extensive than my father had told me. I wondered if he knew and had lied to me, or if the openings were so small that he had dismissed them. I had to set exploring aside for another time. I had many old Dreams to record, and each writing must be as detailed as I could wring from my memory. I wrote the Dream of the flying buck and the one about the tapestry with the tall ancient kings with golden eyes. It took six pages for me to write my Dream about the fish-white boy in the boat with no oars and how he sold himself as a slave. I wrote a Dream I'd had of my father cutting open his chest and taking out his heart and pressing it into a stone until there was no blood left in it. I did not understand the Dreams I wrote down, but I thought that one day someone might, and so I recorded them.

what are wade's flaws and how do they fuck up his relationship with logan? see link above for more details but basically, not just an endearing lack of self-esteem that gets fixed by being loved, but actual bad mistakes he makes and things he does wrong that cause genuine hurt and that they have to really work to repair. i've been LOVING everyone's thoughts about how logan fucks things up (check the notes on that post for some Delicious character analysis from various people) so i simply must ask y'all's opinions about wade's damage. :D? :D?
