Feedback on what hair type to give one of my characters???

I've been drawing her with these vague curls, but then I realized these loose curls are what I'd draw for a white character, and might not be right for her (tell me if I'm wrong I know next to nothing about hair 😭)

I checked out a couple articles and this lil tutorial. So uhh heres what I have so far

If you can't tell I was having some fun. I think what i wrote as 4b might actually by a 3c? I love the idea of braids with beads, but I also don't like the idea of drawing a bunch of braids with beads ON EVERY PANAL. I kind of like the (googling it) cornrows! Fun name! I wish all hair styles were named after foods. Like ballerina buns could be called donuts.

So uh... if anyone sees this lemme know what might be fun or if anything here is wildly incorrect :)
