I can't explain you guys how soul-repairing it is for me to do fan art of Áfram Latibær and Lazy Town. So here's one of Íþróttaálfurinn! (aka Sportacus)

A few days ago I rewatched the stage play of Lazy Town because it's one of my favorite things ever. I'm serious when I said it was life-changing when years ago I saw posts about it here and then I watched it. It's so fun, I specially love to see the differences and similarities it has to the Lazy Town show that people mostly watched, also it's lovely to see more fans here giving the stage play so much appreciation and love <3 About this, I love the small but great community there is in here, I can't speak to no one about this show irl because they either don't remember or haven't seen it, so it's super nice I'm able to share my fixation with other fans on the internet :)

Maybe this chain of thoughts is from being tired and in neck pain, but random LT thoughts with Clear

The first play can simply be summarized as one tired mayor looses chaotic elf on his town, and I think that's neat. Also Ipro mildly scares me with the amount of child endangerment shenanigans he commits. How do you explain random elf breaking into your house, fireman carrying you around, or jumping through your TV Screen to slap you around

The second play, my beloved. Glanni Glæpur wears the most obnoxious, European monarch, "Bow down to me peasants" high heels in bright pink. I will be dying on this hill. Also 24 year old Stefan Karl singing while poisoning a town is... something. Definitely darker. (Also the ending is great)

The show itself? I remember half these episodes from my childhood, but rewatching them now is WILD. Sportacus is such a supportive Dad and I love him. (And would kick the shit out of Homelander.) I also didn't remember Trolls and Pinocchio being canon but... anything's possible.

Anyway. I will also be collecting more feats from my rewatch because someone Quadruple Dog Dared me into doing so. (Ahem. @acesofspade @thefemboylinkagenda )

So I saw someone mention that Robbie actually had a good relationship with his mother canonically. I didn't really look into it much and couldn't find sources but I bet I'd find more if I looked over episodes again.

In the episode First Day of Summer, tho we see Robbie hang up this huge portrait of a person with #1 on the frame? They looked very much lik Robbie and so I supposed it was his mom hehe :) so here's sketches of him and his mom Regina Rotten

Yes a lot of this is very headcanony! But I like imaginatively expanding on the world of Lazytown :D

Something that I’m thinking about in regards to LazyTown

I noticed that in season 1 of LazyTown, most of the kids have their own little theme/leitmotif or song based on the original Icelandic plays. Like, Stingy has the Mine Song (Afram Latibær), Pixel has Gizmo Guy (based on Megabæt from Glanni  Glæpur Í Latabæ), Stephanie has Bing Bang (again based on Glanni) and Ziggy has that lil leitmotif from Afram Latibær. But...

Trixie doesn’t have her own lil theme tune !

Tbh I think that’s a massive injustice cause she’s such an interesting character, and she had so much development in the old plays, and plus her funky lil rap in Afram Latibær, this one:

And I think it would have been so cool if that tune that was in the background of the song was Trixie’s leitmotif in the 2004 show.

• bro has not aged since like 1995

• his whole career came out of a bet with his friend

• created a tv show that took over the world for a second

• once claimed that sportacus was taking over his body

• every photo of him he’s looking at the camera with so much intensity

• once moved someone out of their aeroplane seat so he could sit next to stefan karl to talk about lazytown

• eats fish straight out of the river

• casually built a whole ass house once

Speaking of Afram Latibær and the show, it's like night and day, especially with both versions of beloved elf boy.

Sportacus is very polite, a sweet boy, and is basically a Dad. Love him a lot, and he's so dad coded, I giggle and kick my feet whenever he's on screen being Dad.

Afram Latibær Iprottaalfurinn is that wet dumpster rat you found in the dumpster behind the local fish market. My man is probably feral. And he has elf tappy feet, which I love.

Random thoughts? Yes. Headcanons? Absolutely.
