SCRIPTURE:

"I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of My Name.” ~ Acts of the Apostles 9:16

OBSERVATION:

How much - in general - have I suffered?

How much suffering has been deserved - because of my selfishness - my willfulness?

How much has been for the sake of His Name?

Publicly for the sake of His Name?

Or privately because I want to do things but "suffer through" not doing them?

Or worse, because I've followed my wants and will anyway?

How much has that made HIM suffer?

APPLICATION:

Consider my suffering...

Suffer for the sake of His Name!

PRAYER:

Patient, longsuffering Father God - I come confessing I haven't suffered because of Your Name in the ways so many have - in the ways You expect me to by forsaking my selfishness and sin - for standing up when I ought - I ask forgiveness for the fears that keep me silent - May Your Holy Spirit continue to prod and encourage me to submit to Your will over my own, and stand against myself first to find the joy in suffering for You - in Jesus's Name and by His example, for Your glory and praiseful worship in all things...

For Him... for you... for yours...

Genesis 1:2 First mention in the Bible.

The Spiritual Person. Someone who realises that God has blessed them in order that they might be a blessing to others. We have the mind of Christ. Being about the Father's business.

The Holy Spirit is God, not the power of God.

Pentecost Filled Wind, tongues of fire, speaking in other languages that people spoke.

Repentance, baptism

3000 saved that day.

Acts 8:17 - 23 God chose how people received the Spirit. (People don't have to pay money to receive anything!)

Repentance, acceptance of the Gospel

Heirs, first born sons.

One does not need to speak in tongues to be saved!

The world is on fire. Boyfriend’s lab partner has ascended to godhood and is now taking over the world. Boyfriend yells at you for manipulating him. You have to kill your mother because she teamed up with magic Jesus. Boyfriend sacrifices himself and lives in the cosmos for the rest of eternity with his lab partner. At least she got cool powers ig.
