Arcane actor AU scenarios!
☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆
Jinx and viktor have a sibling dynamic and they always goof off on set despite not having many scenes together. They always get in trouble for talking during scenes they aren’t in and they are constantly told to stop laughing so loudly.
Vi has embraced the flop duo title and calls Jayce her “floppy.” The crew then surprised them with chairs that say “flop duo.” Jayce proceeded to cackle so hard he had to be escorted off set to get a breath of fresh air.
Caitlyn and Jayce love to film TikTok trends together and they did the “give me my money” prank on viktor. He hit Jayce with his cane.
“Ok so what is this?”
“Ok so me and Jayce have been seeing this thing on TikTok and you have to say “just give me my money” and then after wards we all clap.”
“Yeah! But you have to be dramatic or like funny when you say it.”
“Uhm? What’s the point in that? I don’t understand the joke.”
“We don’t either but everyone is doing it.”
“Hmmm… okay? I guess I’ll do your tic tac.”
“Ok I’ll go first… ahem… just give me my money!” Caitlyn struck a dramatic pose and Jayce cheered and whistled as viktor just clapped.
“Alright… just give me my money!” Jayce said it in a weird accent that made them giggle and they both clapped, Jayce clapping for himself.
“Ok… uhm. Just. give. me. my. money!” He said in a sassy tone and he smiled at the camera before he realized he’s been set up. He looked at Jayce and Caitlyn both of them averting eye contact and just snickering amongst themselves. Viktor took and deep breath, grabbed his cane, and threw it over his shoulder like a bat making Caitlyn and Jayce shriek trying to run away from him.
Mel made a secret group chat with Caitlyn, Ekko, and Viktor where they take pictures of their cast mates sleeping in their trailers. They make it a challenge to see who can take the most absurd awful picture. Ekko always wins because he’s always taking pictures of Silco with the .5 camera setting. Mel comes in second place taking pictures of Sevika since she sleeps with her mouth open.
Vander is seen as father figure by most of the cast mates and he always comes to set even in scenes he’s not in to make sure everyone is doing ok. He helps them with their lines, grabs them coffee, etc. He once had to give Jinx a serious talk because she was doubting herself as an actor. The conversation ended in them both crying and hugging each other.

Masterlist, Latibule 2.II
Taehyung looked up from his cellphone to his eldest hyung that was currently cooking their dinner. He pouted when he was not given the appropriate amount of attention he should be given. Honestly, he deserved it! After a moment when he still did not get what he wanted, he finally asked the question he had been dying to know the answer to.
“Hyung, is it always like that?”
“Hmm? Like what, Tae?” he asked while chopping diligently the vegetables the renowned doctor was preparing for a certain psychologist and his brothers that insisted they were hungry as well.
“When it ends…does it always hurt like that?”
Seokjin blinked at Taehyung’s unprompted question. He paused before he finally brought his eyes to the actor. He knew that the younger man had always been eccentric. His clinical condition definitely explained his behavior, but not this. He was never curious about the emotions he couldn’t feel, nor did he ever show any interest on understanding emotions. As the years passed by, Kim Taehyung got better at masking and pretending by learning the root causes of the emotions he could see. The brothers had always thought that this was precisely why he chose to be an actor. Everytime they watched him cried, laughed, or acted furious for his movies and dramas, they thought he was a different person.
Jin thought it was just understandable why he dropped the knife he was holding.
“What brought this on?”
“He-“ he lifted his mobile phone to show Jin the picture Jimin snapped of their Yoongi hyung looking like he had lost all his will to live. Taehyung found it so ridiculous that Jimin even made a collage of him and a cat that depicted their hyung. “-looks like breathing is a chore and is only fighting to live so he can end his enemies.”
Jin would have laughed had this happened before he met his sunshine. But now, the mere thought of her leaving set him on edge, and he knew he would be similar to Yoongi if not worse. Slowly, he picked up his knife as he carefully chose his words. He was always like this with Taehyung ever since he knew that something was not quite right in his mind, well…more than any of them, to be honest. The younger man took things at face value, and all the brothers knew to talk in a straightforward manner so there wouldn’t be any confusion on Taehyung’s part.
He kidded you not, once when they were still teenagers, they asked him to go ahead and get them a table in a restaurant. He left without any qualms only to return not an hour later carrying a big ass table from a restaurant. That was a horrifying memory, Jin thought, and that was when they all decided to change the way they talked. It was Namjoon that took it too far and enrolled the man in a body language class to better cope with society. However, it was Jungkook that forced him to take psychology classes with him for fun.
“I think it’s different,” Jin started, busying himself once again with cooking. “Yoongi never has love like that, I guess. It’s understandable that he acts like a sad lonely cat.”
Seokjin could still clearly remember how Yoongi looked at you. It was like you were all he ever wanted and more, like you were his reprieve from the darkness in his life. You were, as he called you, an angel to him. And then he lost you.
“Why?”
“Well…she’s his personal slice of heaven,” he answered, his voice contemplative and understanding of what Yoongi was going through. Jin paused in his chopping, a thoughtful expression crossing his features as he carefully considered his words. “And he’s been living in hell the very moment he was born. What do you think would happen if he was given a taste of heaven and then lost it?”
“Just like Hoseok hyung,” Taehyung nodded, slightly understanding the downfall of these strong men.
“Seriously, you are all worse than the ahjummas who love to talk about other people’s lives. Be better than that, guys,” Kim Namjoon observed with his deadpanned voice as soon as he walked in the kitchen. He took in the scene of the two men conversing and the other man quietly eating the snack Jin prepared him.
Jin scoffed as he rolled his eyes at Namjoon. “As if you wouldn’t react like that when your secretary finally resigns.”
To which, Namjoon only smirked. “Who says she can leave?”
“How will you stop her and her son if the father finally shows up?”
Namjoon, with his hand in his pocket, calmly uttered words that no normal people would believe to have any other meaning. “Well, as you said, the dead don’t exactly come back to life, do they?”
Jin chuckled at Namjoon. Of course, he did something about that man. It was apparent, he thought. He could still vividly remember the look in Namjoon’s eyes when he told him that his secretary was pregnant and that the asshole of a father even put his hands on her. Suffice to say, it was the most unhinged Namjoon ever was.
“I think Namjoon will be the worst among us if he ever loses the love of his life,” Jin noted with lightness in his voice.
“Nah,” Jungkook finally lifted his head from his bowl. “I sincerely think it’ll be Taehyung.”
The conversation never left Jeon Jungkook’s mind. Anyway, he didn’t need anyone to tell him to do this. He did this out of the bond he shared with his brothers. Had this happened to any among them, he would have done the same.
He thought that it was cruel to let them experience the same hell he had been living every single day.
And so, he worked tirelessly and utilized every available technology and connection he had just to look for Yoongi’s angel. When he said she was alive, when he said he felt in his heart that you could have not gone where he couldn’t follow, then he’d believed him. He wouldn’t lose anything by looking for you, Jungkook rationalized. But he didn’t want to unnecessarily get his brother’s hopes up until he had evidence that you were indeed alive.
One morning, it finally happened. There you were.
Jungkook’s eyes could not have gone any bigger as he watched the CCTV of a far province in his office.
That was you, he was sure.
Without a moment's hesitation, he reached for his phone and dialed the person he knew he could trust. "Hyung, can you come to my office?" he requested urgently, the excitement and disbelief evident in his voice.
“That’s her,” Kim Namjoon validated after a moment. He was standing beside Jungkook’s seated form as he leaned in the monitor. He was ever the image of calmness with his hand in his pocket, his suit immaculate and not a crease in sight.
Seokjin raised his brows as he sat in a relaxed manner on the couch. Jungkook didn’t even call him, yet he was here because he was, per his words, bored and that a certain sunshine was not where she should be. “So the dead can indeed come back to life,” he noted with a tone the two men couldn’t understand. “Pray tell, Namjoon-ah. Should we tell Yoongi?”
Jungkook blinked at the rising tension between the two men. Whereas Jin merely looked curious, Namjoon looked like he was looking at the end of the sword with the way his jaw was clenched. He stood up straight and took a second to answer Seokjin.
“Of course, hyung. This is a great news, after all.”
“Hmm,” Seokjin smirked, his legs crossed as though nothing could have fazed him. It was moment like this when Jungkook could see the mafia prince in his usually playful hyung. Everybody knew not to cross this man despite him appearing goofy and motherlike to them.
Jungkook thought that it would only take one momentous catastrophe for him to return to his dark persona. He didn’t want to see that, though.
“He’s suffered enough, right?” Jin asked the room with a light tone, yet his eyes pierced through Namjoon’s. “Right, Namjoon-ah?”
Seven Mississippis passed before he answered. Jungkook knew because he counted, and he hated the tension he didn’t know why was present.
“Jungkook, tell Yoongi hyung,” Namjoon ordered.
—-
Min Yoongi’s brows were pulled together as he walked in a bustling street of a faraway province. He had to drive almost four hours just because their maknae told him to be here at this exact hour, claiming that he desperately needed him to be there. However, Jungkook was not answering his phone despite numerous calls from him.
Where was even that little shit, Yoongi asked himself as he surveyed the whole place.
Despite barely getting any sleep, he found himself in a situation where he might have to scold his youngest brother for the first time. He should have been in Seoul right now, but he couldn’t exactly say no to him. He had shit ton of things to do and yet he was indulging the youngest brother.
Maybe this was exactly why he was spoiled? Ah, but anyway, he was a good kid.
So where was he?!
He walked further into the thick of the plaza, his phone plastered in his ear as he listened to the annoying and incessant ringback tone of Jungkook. Seriously, at this day and age? His eyes roamed the area of happy locals, at which he rolled his eyes.
He was on the verge of deciding whether he should just go ahead and kill Jungkook when he finally answered.
“Where the fuck are you?” he growled over the other line, his patience running thin when the man just answered innocently.
“At Seoul, hyung-“
“Then why am I here?! I swear to heavens, if you made me drive here just to buy you a weird snack then I’ll really kill you!”
“Seokjin hyung will be mad!”
Right. The eldest was protective of the youngest. What a nuisance, he thought. “Then I’ll do it in secret.”
Jungkook chuckled nervously. He couldn’t place whether he was joking or not. His money was that if his hyung could get away with it, he’d be floating in the river at this very moment. “I asked you to go there because I have a surprise for you, hyung.”
“I don’t particularly enjoy surprises-” he began, but was swiftly interrupted.
“I know, I know. But this one, I’m sure you’ll like. This is the most beautiful, most precious, most amazing surprise ever. You’ll stop sulking and looking like a sad cat and Jimin hyung will finally stop taking badly captured and cropped photos of you and make it into a collage. Taehyung hyung will stop observing your miserable demeanor for his next movie. You’ll finally stop living like it’s such a chore and-“
His back was bumped by a force. Turning around, he prepared to glare at the perpetrator only to stop because there it was.
There was you.
It was as if the universe finally said that he had enough and stopped punishing him because he saw you when he was not even looking for you. Your mouth hanged agape, your hand going to your forehead as you murmured apologies to him.
He was stunted. No, he was bewildered.
Was this real? Or was this one of his cruel dreams again, a figment of his mind playing tricks on him?
But no.
He had been living in hell, yet moment he heard your voice, all the sufferings disappeared. This was really you. You were truly alive. He was frozen as his wildest dream was brought into life. His whole body went into a state of shock, something that he never thought could ever happen.
It didn’t really matter the years he spent without you because one touch, one word- these were all it took for him to forget the bitterness your separation brought him.
With a trembling voice, Yoongi dared to call for you. “Ange-”
But before he could say another word, you interrupted, your voice light and apologetic.
“I’m really sorry, mister. I didn’t see you,” you chuckled, slightly lifting your walking stick to explain the small accident. You bowed down at the man before going your way.
And he stood there, watching as the love of his life walked away from him, unseeing. He thought he could no longer hurt. He thought that nothing could have fazed him any longer. But he was wrong. Watching you walked, unseeing as you traversed the plaza with only your walking stick pained him.
How did this happen to you?
Was it because of the incident?
Was that why you couldn’t return to him? Because you weren’t able to?
Or did he miss all the glaring signs?
Slowly, he lifted the old phone you gifted him years ago to his ear. “You didn’t stop looking for her?”
Jungkook was quiet for a moment. “Well…I would never wish this hell on anyone, much less my brother,” he stated, his voice carrying a certain tone of sadness they often heard from him. “Go get her, hyung.”
The bustling city streets faded into a blur around you as you walked, your steps slow and deliberate despite the cacophony of noise that surrounded you. Your sight may have been almost gone, but your other senses seemed to have sharpened in response, each sound and scent painting a vivid picture in his mind.
You remembered that when you were younger, you read a passage from a book entitled, ‘The Song of Achilles’. You thought it was a well-written book, a love that transcended even death. There was a line your college friends always thought to be a masterpiece. But you never understood it. The line so many people loved never really touched you.
Until it did.
Until you understood each word written in that book.
“I could recognize him by touch alone, by smell; I would know him blind, by the way his breaths came and his feet struck the earth. I would know him in death, at the end of the world.”
Because right now, the words made sense. You could recognize him despite your deteriorating eyesight. You knew him. He was here. And he was following you…to what exactly? Was he here to end you? Was he here to make sure that you wouldn’t tell the world of his secret identity?
Regardless of the reason, you tried to remain calm as Hoseok always ordered you to. You had no choice but to lead him back home, otherwise you were sure that he would be suspicious. The man that you used to love was perceptive, and any suspicious movements could alert him. From the moment you opened the front door to the time you closed it, you knew you only had a couple of seconds.
You fished the phone Hoseok gave you, one with tactile buttons and controls that made it easier for you to use it. You knew you couldn’t use the speech-to-text feature, otherwise he’d hear. And so, with a tense movement, you sent a message to him.
He’s here. Don’t come home. Leave with my son.

AOT ACTOR AU HEADCANONS TO COPE WITH THE FINALE PART 3
✨ On set beef did occur during the filming of the final season, it's the toughest one yet, everyone's worked up, which has led to everyone's worst sides coming out. The silver lining to this? This frustration/anger translated into the actual shoots. There go the secret behind the "exceptional acting"
✨ Eren wanted to go method, they stopped him right there (aint nobody got the time to deal with that)
✨Levi reads every DM he gets....and he never responses.
✨ Floch is a streamer and he gets cancelled every other month
✨ Connie starts thirst trapping like crazy in the S4 era. He's HOT yall, he's a unique beauty and he WILL flex that
✨ The upside to this? He's getting more publicity. The downside? He has had to disable his comments because of the stuff Jean and Eren write
"Couldn't even edge to this, I just busted straight up"
"What if we were prison buddies and you dropped the soap"
"that gray buzzcut is MINE ❤"
"Is the tip pink with a slight curve?"

Best Underrated Anime Group K Round 3: #K8 vs #K2
#K8: Fishing with friends (both human & alien)
#K2: A show where any universe/plot is possible
Details and poll under the cut!
#K8: Tsuritama
youtube
Summary:
Yuki Sanada has always felt like a fish out of water. Socially awkward and anxious, he struggles to fit in with his surroundings and moves from town to town with his grandma. As he and his grandma settle into the charming seaside town of Enoshima, Yuki hopes for a fresh start. However, his reputation at school is jeopardized by the arrival of fellow transfer student Haru. The eccentric Haru immediately makes a splash, wildly claiming to be an alien and declaring that Yuki is his friend. Pairing the reluctant Yuki with their classmate and fishing talent, Natsuki Usami, he tasks both of them with the absurd mission of saving the world from a mysterious threat in the ocean. Mischief and hijinks ensue, as these three embark on a whimsical adventure filled with laughs, heart, and self-discovery!
Propaganda 1:
Tsuritama is a heartfelt show about learning to cope with anxiety by building confidence through learning new skills (fishing). It’s also about learning to be vulnerable with others and rely on them. The soundtrack is almost entirely recorder, as they asked the Kuricorder Quartet to put it together for the show. On top of that, the color scheme is very bright and hopeful.
Propaganda 2:
This show left me feeling both happy and incredibly emotional. It started off very goofy but really reels you in (get it? Reels?) and becomes quite an emotional journey at the end. Also, the art style is really beautiful and colorful and the opening is a bop!
Trigger Warnings: None.
#K2: Beryl and Sapphire (Xiaolü He Xiaolan)
Summary:
The series is based on a manhua where the main characters are drawn as stick figures, so they can be placed in any situation, essentially making different AUs canon while any genre is possible. Some of these stories have overarching plots (they’re sort of like actors), some are more slice-of-life, and some have more hard-hitting moments of angst or occasionally cute, romantic stories between the leads: the mild-mannered Beryl (Green) and the easily-embarrassed Sapphire (Blue).
In this show where each episode is set in a different world, how would they encounter each other time and again?
Propaganda:
It’s genuinely just such a cool concept! Getting to see these characters in practically any story/setting while still featuring the (usually same) main characters means you still get attached to the main cast, but you really get a diverse range of plots and ideas.
You may find yourself getting super attached to one (as I did for the Robo-Beryl arc, because I liked the character of Robo-Beryl but I also found Sapphire’s shyness/crushing adorable), and many of even the shortest ones are really interesting.
The OP even features them as actors and the title cards are film clapboards, which is such a cool way to tie in the main set-up!
Plus, because the manhua features them as stick figures, Ocarina (the original creator of Beryl and Sapphire) has way more room to explore deep ideas or just silly jokes; the flexibility of stick figures means we get lots of deep, philosophical writing/dialogue, and the donghua adapts that quite well.
Beryl is fun and Sapphire is super cute, and I love seeing how they interact in different universes/stories (and yes, they are very shippable!). Their default design is technically male, but sometimes they’re female too.
Some of the storylines are also super creative and really really do just punch you in the gut with feels. I don’t think I’ll ever forget some of the more tragic arcs…
Yet at the end of the day, Beryl and Sapphire is a really cute donghua, with a lot of feel-good stories to it! It even finally came back after like 4 years with season 2, which focuses on one of the over-arching arcs (the Demon King Beryl one), and we’re still getting discussions of deeper ideas alongside comedy, and Beryl and Sapphire are as cute as ever!
The new art style is quite pretty and hey, if you’re a fan of the playful, teasing (yet still can be rather emotionally reserved) type and the easily blushy type, Beryl and Sapphire may just be for you! 😉
Trigger Warnings: None.

honestly man, i am just going to resort in planning and writing my own aemond targaryen fanfic now to help cope with the shitshow of a show. smh. maybe grrm should hire fanfic writers now. smh.
i also hope that the actors don't shy away from working with scripts written by fanfic writers because, it's clear that HBO's non-fanfic writers don't know what they are doing. especially, the male actors. male actors have the tendency to stay away from female gazey shows because they want the respect of other men, which is like *insert eyeroll here*.
especially, ewan mitchell. that guy is built to star in fantasy romance shows.
also, i hate it when someone disses on fanfic writers! fanfic writers bring an incredible amount of passion to the creator's work! not just write smutty fics! but then again, grrm is nice to hbo's writers with no fanfic experience because he's cashing their cheques. smh.
brb. going to ao3 now.
I understand your disappointment with the season finale, I didn't like it too much either, but I decided not to think about it and just focus on the scenes with Ewan that will surely rekindle many writers, including me.
I don't know if I fully understand what you mean by men not taking on roles with female directors. I don't like using stereotypes, but it sounds a bit like that to me, and I think it's unfair. Every person decides about themselves and their career, how they choose roles is their private matter, also depending on their comfort and approach.
Maybe Ewan simply doesn't want to play in movies with romances? Maybe he prefers strange and disturbing characters? Not everyone has to feel good in such roles, in my opinion it's not up to us to judge.
I don't think it's about the female gaze, but rather how it is in a specific case: if someone feels that this female directorial gaze is inappropriate, toxic, or simply something they can't relate to, they have the right not to participate. Let's stop blaming people for rejecting something we don't think they should reject. Let's stop creating groups of "male gaze" and "female gaze" and think about the "human gaze." Women also want respect and praise from other women. I don't know why that would belittle them. We all want to be appreciated.
My heart goes out to the fanfic writers in this fandom, they do an amazing job, they are very nasty and imaginative, they create a lot of AUs, and they are very talented. I am happy to be one of them and I don't really care what GRRM thinks. I hope you also find joy in writing, and that's what I wish for you. 💕

✨actor au headcanons ✨ part 2
i was really feeling this last night so!!! here are some things that happened during production. i'll do a social media one soon.
historia and eren were shit stirrers and the problem children of the entire cast, doing the whole partying thing because they had to cope with so much fame so fast but they always covered for each other but eren fell into worse habits whereas historia was able to get herself out
eren was doing a stint in rehab during the final part's shooting so that's why he was largely not present during half of the season's episodes. he comes back for the final stretch of episodes and he's clean and cuts his hair and all that and is finally able to grow up after seeing his character's fate
arumika's date was largely a PR stunt because a) she'd just broken up with jean and b) the rumor mill was stirring that armin was fooling around with annie, who's currently in a relationship. rumor has it that they might've hooked up too but neither confirm it and armin alludes to them making out once in his tell-all.
armin writes a tell-all where he airs out all the dirty laundry (with everyone's permission) but he does confirm that annie was cheating with him for months while she was with bertholdt and the two of them got into such a bad fight that they had to rewrite scenes or shoot them separately because it was so so bad
as for the zeke-pieck thing. yeah the two of them had an affair while shooting their season 3 cameos. and yelena was his wife of 2 years at the time and it was a major scandal leading to a divorce because pieck got knocked up. they married the day after the divorce was finalized but they divorced a year later for reasons no one really knows. it was so bad that the "divorce" was written into the plot but they made up and remarried later.
eren and mikasa's relationship actually started on the second to last day of shooting right after their cabin scene and eren's fresh out of rehab. yes the cabin sequence is the final thing they shoot. so technically the last thing is the kiss and both of them realize that they don't want to end up like that so they confess their love for each other in mikasa's trailer that night. they marry a year later and they're one of those rare celeb couples that actually stay together and aren't surrounded in scandal.
mikasa is the set's hot girl because she's been on dates with most of the guys. she did go off and on with jean throughout the seasons though. they had a break up during season 1 and got back together and so forth. he was about to propose but she broke it off before he could because she knew she didn't love him in the way that he loved her. she had a brief fling with porco too and it was a fling for all intents and purposes that last for a month tops. she was going through it because eren was at his worst and they were rumored to have had a huge blowout.
maybe em hooked up once between seasons 3 and 4 and that sent eren hurdling towards rock bottom but also was his wake up call too.
levi's an enigma and his personal life is the subject of so much media scrutiny but he never comments. he's been linked to a few of his co-stars and even other well known celebs but he never never comments and he's rumored to have beaten up some sleazy journalist once. he has a side-gig and that's the owner of a successful chain of tea-shops across the world.
reiner becomes a huge mental health advocate and spends a lot of time helping out with charities. he's sort of a golden child which is why when he checks into rehab, everyone's shocked. turns out it's because of exhaustion and his mental health that he wants to take care of so he leads by example.
because so many characters get killed off, they get a free spa day, a meal at a nice restaurant, and a big bottle of wine followed by a "sorry, you're dying next episode" note from the writers and producers.
connie grows his hair out immediately after because he hates being bald
when shooting the epilogue on the boat, connie and jean recreated the "i'm flying" scene from titanic and it was put into the blooper real and they had no idea lol
if em were bad when it came to finally getting together, aa was really had at staying together for more than a few months because of all the media pressure and annie's own insistence to stay out of the limelight. they did finally stay together and married some years after filming wrapped. annie retired from acting and became an interior designer and that really did wonders for her.
hange actually has a phd in zoology so they brought that into their character and even went off-script several times but the writers loved it so much they just kept it.
ymir actually went onto becoming hugely successful and once she and historia get together, they're a complete power couple but they did play chicken with the media for years before announcing their engagement via the fake baby bump post on instagram. also both of them wanted a kid so they also announced historia's actual pregnancy via sperm donor and the rumor is that either armin or porco were the donors.
zeke and historia are distant cousins but they shared an ancestor maybe 8 generations back.

Since my mind only seems to come up with these things during school and very late at night when I should be asleep-
Actor AU!! this does feature shipping so if that makes you uncomfortable feel free to skip this, it’s only with content creators who are ok with it tho!! and ofc personas and characters, not the irl people
- Techno is the stunt choreographer/trains all the actors in stage combat, Dream actually did parkour and skateboarding before auditioning so he and Techno bond over doing stupid tricks and choreography
- Karl is an assistant director, he’s fresh out of college and a bit of a klutz but he loves helping out around set and he always remembers everyone’s coffee orders
- Philza is Tommy and Tubbo’s agent/manager, although he’s close friends with Wilbur and Techno as well
- Since I absolutely love Tommy and Dream’s dynamic we’re going to throw in some Tommy/Dream mentor/mentee vibes, Dream finds Tommy practicing some stunts one day in the studio and goes over to help him out, they end up talking for hours while training, now it’s a Thursday night tradition (Techno shows up sometimes too)
- Dream gets anxiety attacks sometimes, Tommy helps him learn how to manage them (Tommy got them too for the first few years of acting, Tubbo helped him learn how to cope)
- George and Sapnap have been acting/modeling for years, although Sapnap is definitely a better actor. George gets a lot of modeling gigs, Dream takes every opportunity to make fun of how he doesn’t have a fashion sense of his own but still ends up on the front page of Vogue
- Wilbur and Fundy prank everybody on set all of the time, Wilbur’s known for purposely messing up lines or going full improv mode (although they usually end up keeping the improv scenes for the final cuts)
- Fundy and Niki help design the costumes sometimes, Niki and Wilbur both sit in the costumes room and sew to destress, and Fundy is surprisingly good at design
- Tommy and Tubbo share a trailer on some of the outdoor sets, it’s covered in posters and string lights and empty cans of coca cola but they hold sleepovers there sometimes when filming goes really late
- Tubbo is secretly really good at hacking and has sabotaged filming on more than one occasion just for fun
- Eret is really good with makeup/special effects, he helps out the makeup team when they’re prepping Tommy for a fight scene and gives him a huge cut across his arm, Tommy takes a million pictures for Instagram and immediately goes to find Tubbo and scare him
- Dreamnotfound but they’re too oblivious to realize their true feelings, fake dating trope for the publicity, it goes well enough for the first season but once they inevitably ‘break up’ things get rough
- Dream gets really close with Fundy during the filming break, they watch Treasure Planet together and talk about how difficult all relationships are as a celebrity
- Techno and Dream fight each other and challenge each other to do reckless parkour moves all the time, they’re amazing at coming up with fight choreography together even if they won’t admit it
- Premiere night of the first episode! Everybody gets ready in the same hotel room, it’s loud and chaotic and there’s a lot of panicked yelling while people pull on dresses and suits and do their makeup
- They all decide to wear some variation of the strawberry dress in support of Tubbo, Eret and Niki wear the actual dress, Tubbo wears the dress over a black turtleneck, Dream wears a strawberry-patterned button up with suspenders and a jacket, George wears a pink suit coat and a strawberry tie, Sapnap wears a black suit with strawberries on it (and a cowboy hat, much to everybody’s confusion), Fundy has a patterned button up and a vest, Wilbur has a pink sweater and a black coat lined with strawberry fabric, Tommy wears a white suit with a pink shirt and tie
- It makes quite a statement at the premiere, they’re on the front page for weeks and the show is an immediate success
- Dream skyrockets to fame as well, which is a bit overwhelming
- Quackity, Punz, Ponk, Antfrost and Schlatt all join for the second season, there’s some controversy with Schlatt because of his contract and then him leaving during the first season, but everything gets smoothed over
- Dream and George don’t talk at all during the filming break, even at conventions and signings and photoshoots they manage to avoid each other
- Until the script read-through, of course
#mcyt#mcyt au#actor au#dreamnotfound#not tagging all of those people lmao#also#...#may or may not be starting my very first animatic ever??#probably will give up by tonight but#:eyes:

hi darling!!!
I hope you’re week’s going great!! You’re half way through!!
Gosh I don’t like coding but honestly don’t worry, as long as you stay on top of it then you’re fine. I did not stay on top of it so therefore I don’t know how to code lmao. Still don’t know how I got away with getting a degree without understanding coding lmao.
omg so I stopped watching aot halfway through the last season. and I couldn’t pick it up after the manga finished because it affected me so much, like seriously it affected my mood for weeks on end soooo I’m refusing to watch it at the moment lol. I might try and catchup on it by end of February if I’m in a good mood. Idk what it is but books affect my mood so much. Like I get so drawn into it. I’m trying to think of aot in an actor au, it makes me feel better, yknow? JEAN AND CONNIE LOOK SO FINE THOOOOO, TIME TO GO SEE THE EIFFEL TOWER WITH THEM GDIAJWBEOSJWJE
BUT I have been watching kny and man oh man this season is so sexy, holy crap that last episode?!??!!?!!? SO FRIGGING COOL (also uzui and his wives are just so fucking hot)
I went to see my frien today for lunch!! We had a kbbq buffet and there was a food waste fee so we overstuffed ourselves. We waddled out of there, trying to keep the food inside us. Ended up sitting in a cute coffee shop tho hehe 🥰
-🐈⬛
ny weeks been okay, I hope yours has been going great!!
yeah coding is a true pain in the ass, I finally finished my first assignment and now I have another one due blegh
ur very valid about aot, it's so heavy and my mood just spiraled too when s4 aired its so depressing, oh God and I remember the final few chapters of the manga were coming out around that time and I was active on twitter when 138 dropped and I was like physically sick and anxious it was....I ended up catching up on the manga because of it oddly enough because I couldn't handle not knowing but it was bad
my mood also gets affected by books, and shows a lot too, which is why I can never be a casual fan of anything 🙃 but yeah I stopped watching fruits basket for a long time because of how sad it was I couldn't put myself through that
LMAO I WOULD TELL MY FRIENDS ITS AN ACTOR AU JUST TO HELP THEM COPE SHSHEHE
oh god and DEMON SLAYER???? FUCKING AMAZING !!!!!! AMAZING AND I CANNOT KEEP MY EYES OFF OF UZUI AND HIS WIVES HOLY SHIT WHEN HE TOOK CARE OF ONE OF THEM AND WAS HOLDING HER I WAS SCREAMING HES SUCH A GOOD HUSBAND AND I WANT TO SUCK HIM DRYYYYY
oh gosh me and my friends with sushi 😭😭 we end up ordering too much and then can't walk after whewwww I hope you had a fun time with you friend!!!!

On the rating of 10, how do you rate the writing of each legacies characters, why and who deserves better? What aspects should be improved?
I updated some of the opinion for clarity and also added Finch because I forgot her originally
I'll just make a list and go down it and I'm sorry in advance I love responding but I'm horrible at grammar/punctuation and also I might tend to ramble but I'll try to be as concise as possible. It should also be noted anything I state that might possibly relate to ships is a personal opinion and I have nothing against any ships/characters gay or straight/Good or Evil. However would it be said that I definitely mean more towards the gay/Badass with a Golden heart side of shipping with any fandom.
Hope Mikaelson- As of now I would rate her writing at about a 6. And I only say that because as we know a majority of her characters personality slightly has always but this season especially related to her relationship with Landon. And I wish we would see the Badass Tribrid Hope we've been promised since season 1 I mean sure there are no lack of examples of her bravery and martyrdom. But I am tired of her always feeling down on herself and like she's a cosmic mistake when it has literally been proven by Lizzie's wish in season 1 that their life would be infinitely shittier without her. What they can do to improve it is have her focus on friendship and herself instead of trying to always focus on Landon. She deserves more than just to be a boy obsessed character I mean she's the daughter of Klaus F****** Mikaelson for Pete sakes she literally descends from the most powerful supernatural family ever to exist and is rightfully the most powerful being on the f****** planet.
Note: I found Handon's relationship cutesy in season 1 but now not so much especially since they use him dying as a plot line way too often it just doesn't have the same effect that used to***
Josie Saltzman-As of now I would rate her writing at about an 8. I like how her character at least for a while had her own storyline going off the mystic falls High School plotline and how she lived with delena because it was a good call back for us TVD fans but I think it could have definitely lasted longer than a few episodes. We all know it was just used as a lot device to introduce Ethan as a series regular and as an introduction for her to Finch's character. But overall I feel throughout the seasons she has experienced at least some personal growth as exhibited even in 3x15 where she admitted she has to stop saying sorry especially to Lizzie for not always jumping to do what she needs / she wants all the time. Whereas before Android AU version aside because she literally had to do what she was programmed to do. She has an exhibited that she's starting to do what she needs to do for Josie before others most of the time or she's trying to. And as far as her relationship to Finch well I don't see them being endgame I have no problem with them and I do see Finch being one of her major loves of the series that teaches her whatever lesson she needs that leads her to whoever her endgame love is. With her relationships I will always miss Posie and I wish they could get Lulu back at least just for one episode. Also I feel these last two episodes of the girls being a trio they have a really Been serving Hosie with the looks but also I feel like in general Josie and Hope have been really in f****** tune. In conclusion I just don't know because Kaylee's acting skills and just turning general I would rate a billion she could choke me and I would literally thank her.
Lizzie Saltzman-as of now I would rate her at about a 7. I feel as if she has had great personal growth over the series and hell even this season. I also like hell despite everything in her life especially her eternal struggle with her mental illness she is always trying to do better and not just for herself but mainly for others and some people would say that's not good but I like it because it truly shows what she stated in 1x03 during the gargoyle incident that she never wants to be the bad or evil one. She has all this s*** thrown at her being called broken, being seen as the lesser than sister, and not to mention the absentee parents. Yet through all this she manages to only get stronger especially once she builds a genuine friendship with hope. However what I will say is that I don't like the regression of her friendship with Hope in correlation to her progress of especially her mental illness. And what I mean by that is it's almost been shown that once she had even the seeds of a true friendship with Hope that Hope would never give up on her hell not but like even an episode or two into their newly formed friendship in S1 Hope went to Josie when she Lizzie was on the verge of a bad episode and "sweet" Josie was basically like fuck her she needs to fall on her ass for once and Hope ass was appalled y'all she was like Lizzie can't control her brain chemistry and was so defensive/protective it's like once they got over that hurdle that mainly Josie gave them everything clicked into place and they were almost instant bff's. So for them to do so good in season 2 and then it seems like it showed especially in these last several episodes black magic incident to bring Landon back aside that Lizzie's old issues of resentment and jealousy towards hope are starting to come back and I don't like that because the more Lizzie had A Friend in Hope it seems like the better she got at coping and doing better mentally.(sorry if this has been a confusing several sentences). And no by that I do not mean that Lizzie is mental progress has solely relied on Hope but I do think it has helped significantly for her to have a true friend. Also let it be noted now out of every ship though I should Hosie too HIZZIE is my #1 ship on Legacies two phenomenally beautiful woman also the enemies to friends to lovers trope *chef's kiss*which might be plausible as I always wondered what they meant in the Hosie crush confession scene of season 1 when Josie said that she always went after everybody josie liked hinting that Lizzie might be at least bisexual or maybe that was just what Josie perceived at like 12/13 years old. Also on the note of relationships Mizzie was a cute concept at the beginning but I do love the fact that MG is finally finding himself and standing up for himself but he did also do it and I kind of a******-ish way towards Lizzie. And that's all I can say for her. Actually I could probably write a novel on this women and also Hizzie but I won't lol.
Alaric Saltzman- As of now I would give him a rating of like a 4 . In the last several episodes I think he's been trying to make progress at being a better person but that's about all I can say I'm not an anti. But he definitely will not be winning the father of the year award anytime soon and like many people have pointed out he was a great guardian to Elena and Jeremy so he has the potential in parenting he obviously just ain't using it or lost it over the decades. I don't hate him but I do believe they're doing a discredit towards the better man he was in The vampire Diaries especially at the beginning.
Landon Kirby-His writing is like a 3. He is just there to be arm candy for hope. Until the last couple episodes where he became this for once realistic not optimistic hardened badass he literally brought nothing to The season other than someone for Hope to obsess over. And to be someone that they repeatedly kill for shock value even though it literally shocks no one anymore. I don't hate his character but he doesn't tickle My Fancy as much anymore. His character has a lot of potentialy especially if they ever bring back in his Phoenix side and truly explore it beyond his almost endless ability to revive and being a "Bird Boy" lol. I mean truthfully they're doing him a disservice Aria is a phenomenal actor who could take his character places if they just let him be more than a basic ass plot device. Also can we talk about how gorgeous of a man Aria is especially in these last few episodes looking love it and fine as f***.
As it has become apparent to me I ramble too much and I just don't have the capacity as it is now almost 1:00 in the morning my time to do anymore characters in depth so I will be doing a simple excerpt for the rest now that I have done the main 5 people.
Kaleb Hawkins- His writing is a 8. I do like how he's coming to himself over the years and is a a right hand man to Alaric now instead of being just a uncontrollable vampire(the only hate on this part not towards Kaleb but Alaric is that it shows he will virtually mentor/uplift almost any teen that ain't his own daughters). Though in my opinion he always kind of had a point on some things especially about the hypocrisy of Alaric in season 1 especially on the bmood drinking thing. Him and Mg's relationship is awesome I'm glad they made up in the last episode and our brothers again. Also I was rooting for him and Cleo I think they would be a cute little couple. Also I need his backstory immediately especially after saying to Cleo the last time he was vulnerable he died I need to know how he turned.
Milton Greasley(MG)- His writing is a 9 the season. I say that because he is really came into his own and stopped being the punching bag. Though I think the idea or used to think at least that him and Lizzie would be cute together I am proud of him for standing up to Lizzie finally even though I liked him always being there for her I was tired of him being a fallback for her when it didn't work with whoever however I do think he could have went about the rejection a little bit gentler especially with how he knows of Lizzie's emotional problems. And don't even get me started on Alyssa that was just a disaster that should have never even been brought to fruition her cheating with Jed was probably the best thing that could have happened. I liked his little side adventure with Ethan though I do think they could have wrote it a little better I was sad when he had to compel the memories away like they still could have been friends he just couldn't have known about the supernatural stuff also I'm still not convinced Ethan won't become supernatural later in the series if he stays on. And that's all I have to say on that one love my baby.
Jed Tien-His writing I can't really give a writing I don't think it's horrible but I do think overall they could give him a better plot line as a series regular other than just being used for the comical relief eye candy/mentioning how he's the alpha. Though it was funny the whole pool tournament to decide who was alpha will Finch was just exactly that so bad it was laughable. However I do respect the fact that he even admitted to her that he knew she threw the game and that he is a genuine man of his word and has become better over the series from like this dumb jock stereotype to this genuine dude the Alyssa incident aside. He is a cinnamon roll and I will protect him at all cost.
Ethan- Again as he just became a series regular this season and barely showed up in his premiere season. I will not be rating him in any traditional sense. His writing is not totally horrible I liked his adventures with mg they could have been written better and they still could have let him be MG's friend without supernatural knowledge instead of compelling the friendship completely away. And I am still not convinced he will not become supernatural in some way depending on how long he stays in the series truthfully it's actually almost inevitable unless they go the whole route of making him the Matt/Token Human of the show which I really hope they don't I mean he can stay human but don't make him a supernatural hater.
Cleo-her writing is 10. I say that because she has been a phenomenal character and I've never seen the actress before but she is obviously phenomenal as well. I like her whole connection to Malivore and how it's a legitimate one that seems to be interwoven with the story that's already been presented and add something new. I also like how she tried and really wanted to genuinely be friends with all the characters especially hope but at the same time she was also very realistic and new probably and truthfully the only way for Malivore to be defeated was for Hope to Go full Tribrid and she wasn't above actually trying to murder hope to save herself and just get rid of Malivore which I can't blame her.
Malivore-after the end of season 3 / the first couple episodes of season 4 which were supposed to be the original ending to season 3 I better never hear the name again I am so tired of it this should have ended like at least a season ago at this point it's dragging on. This was supposed to be a monster of the week type of series which is okay me personally I have always appreciated having one big bad of the season and then a couple of minor baddies that get their characters arcs and take a few episodes to defeat or something as like a B or C plot. Point being is that this character and plot line has gotten stiff as can be. To be honest I think half of us aren't even here for plot line anymore we just want to see which of our ships get together.
Finch-I am loving her character and I do think she's cute with Josie. Also I stan anyone who is a sarcastic b**** Queen. I think it's nice how her will backstory was different than the traditional one but also I hated how sad it was like she literally didn't even know what she was doing. Though I will say calling Lizzie the "evil" twin that she can fight me because you don't talk about my blonde cinnamon roll like that is based on one impression from something that was only meant and done out of a good place and Lizzie's heart trying to find out her backstory. But other than that I have no real qualms with this character and it is too early to have a real in-depth analysis/opinion of her.
Thank you for reading this long rant hope I answered your question well enough if not PM me on anything specific.

15x04 Atomic Monsters - so many call-backs...
Honestly, Perez went to town on references to previous episodes in 15x04.
The Ouroboros narrative was working overtime.
I’ve already mentioned 5x04 The End references, and of course there are all the previous Becky episodes, particularly 5x01 Sympathy for the Devil, 5x09 The Real Ghostbusters and 7x08 Time for a Wedding!
@postmodernmulticoloredcloak has mentioned the call-backs to 14x15 Peace of Mind (where Chip Harrington was a Chuck-avatar trying to keep his world in “back to the fifties” aspic, just as Chuck now seems to be trying to keep the Winchesters’ story in back to S1/2 aspic) and @flyingfish1 has pointed out the reference (in the re-casting of Billy’s parents’ actors) to 1x08 Bugs.
Then there’s the fact that we see Benny LaFitte in Sam’s red-verse mind-AU, and Dean has to execute Billy the vampire with a machete, just the way he killed Benny in 8x19 Taxi Driver.
In Becky’s house we see fan-made posters for 3x08 A Very Supernatural Christmas and 1x03 Dead in the Water (and just look at that ominous chessboard on the table - a visual signifier of the way Chuck treats his characters as chess pieces, rather than living, breathing, feeling beings with free will).
Dead in the Water and A Very Supernatural Christmas were both key early-season episodes for elucidating facets of Sam and Dean’s traumatic childhoods.
In Dead in the Water we learn that Dean simply stopped speaking for a while after Mary died, because he was so grief-stricken and traumatised.
And in A Very Supernatural Christmas, in the flash-back sequences, we see Dean trying to parent Sam as best he could, having had that too-heavy responsibility thrust upon him by John, and indeed trying to make up for (and even covering for) his father’s neglect.
We can see the relevance of these episodes to the S15 present, because Mary Winchester is once again dead (apparently) so the Dead in the Water reference re-inforces the fact that Dean’s old trauma has resurfaced big-time, making it really difficult (once again) for him to find his words.
And, as Sam struggles with the effects of the God-wound, Dean is trying to paper over the cracks (take care of Sammy) and pretend like everything’s OK for his little brother, the way he did as a kid in A Very Supernatural Christmas.
But 15x04 shows us that these old coping mechanisms, as completely understandable as they were for child-Dean, are now no longer functional, and are instead causing both brothers pain.
The last turn of the Ouroboros must be the final shaking off of these old, deep, wounds in the psyche, so Sam and Dean can truly be free, in direct opposition to Chuck, who wants to keep things the way they were back at the start of his SPN narrative.

Female Protagonists Deserve Their Stories
Believe me, I get it. I am not the target audience for shows like Shadowhunters, Veronica Mars, or GoT. I am far, far removed from ship wars, cons, and the overall social media craziness that seems to animate fandom culture for shows like these. These shows -- particularly Shadowunters -- are really just guilty pleasures for me. With bonus points b/c they are sci fi/supernatural/fantasy/action & adventure genre pieces with strong female protagonists. That’s all. Just a genre that I love. Nothing life-changing.
So why, months later, am I still so pissed off about GoT S8, Shadowhunters 3B and the &*%& Shadowhunters finale, and basically all of Veronica Mars S4? Especially when the writers/ show runners behind these projects -- and huge chunks of the fandom -- really, really don’t give a shit about what someone in my demographic thinks.
Fundamentally, I am pissed off because each of these shows destroyed the narrative arcs of their female characters. And, because the showrunners -- a bunch of middle-aged dudes -- should have known better.
This post focuses on Shadowhunters. And I am writing it just for me. I appreciate and understand that others may disagree.
Ok, let’s just acknowledge the demographically engineered pulpy charms of Shadowhunters (TV) up front. The cast were (and still are, obviously) uniformly gorgeous; the casting was racially diverse (YAY!!!); each season features lots of angst-y love triangles, break-ups and make-ups (Oh, the drama :-)); and, the show deliberately centered LGBTQIA relationships, especially Malec (again, YAY!!!)
So, what’s my problem, when there is so much to like about the show’s stated desire to be inclusive and diverse? Especially when I believe that representation matters, particularly in genre projects like Shadowhunters, which historically have tended to lack diversity with respect to race and sexual/gender identity.
My problem is that somewhere along the line, the Shadowhunters showrunners decided that to tell the story they wanted to tell, they had to eviscerate the narrative arcs of Clary, and by extension, Jace.
To understand why the decision to sideline Clary (and Jace) is so frustrating, it helps to know a bit about the TV show’s source material. (Spoilers follow) SHTV is based on The Mortal Instruments, a six-book series written by Cassie Clare. Clary is the protagonist of TMI: Clare has described TMI as a “girl power” story, and she has made it clear that in TMI, she wanted to tell a story where a girl saves the world. She’s even clapped back at those who would question whether Clary is worthy of heroine status. Last year, in the Thule section of Queen of Air and Darkness, Clare showed us an AU where Clary doesn’t save the world (and is instead killed by Lilith, the mother of demons). It’s a hellscape: Clary’s evil brother Jonathan controls everyone and everything; angelic power no longer works; and anyone who tries to resist Jonathan is hunted, killed, “endarked” (turned into a soulless, murderous soldier), or otherwise enspelled. All of our other heroes are dead or enthralled. Realizing that he was turning into a demon, Magnus begged Alec to kill him (which Alec does, before committing suicide). And Clary’s love Jace? Devastated by Clary’s death, and enspelled by Jonathan, Jace becomes twisted and evil.
In addition to the Thule AU, Clare has written more generally about right of female creators to own their own work (on a Tumblr blog post). And, she has used other series in the shadowhunter world to center other characters and relationships (e.g., the Malec series currently underway); to interrogate gender roles (e.g., the Julian and Emma pairing in TDA); and to explore relationships and identities other than the Clary/Jace pairing (e.g. the polyamorous Christina/Mark/Kieran relationship in TDA). Why does all of this matter for SHTV? Well, Clare wrote TMI, and she made Clary the protagonist. So the fact that Clary is the protagonist of TMI was not some ancillary or inconvenient matter for SHTV. It was and is at the center of the books upon which SHTV is based, and as to which the show has IP rights.
[NB: This is not to suggest that Clare prefers Clary and Jace to other characters or other ships, or that other characters aren’t also heroic or ship-worthy -- they are, they are just not the protagonists of TMI. And, SHTV is still based on TMI.]
[NB2: And, I absolutely don’t mean to suggest that the show had to be a transcription of the books, or that only Clary and Jace should have gotten screen time. I am affirmatively HAPPY that the show gave rich story lines to other characters -- especially Simon, Magnus and Alec.]
With that background in mind, why do I think that Season 3B and the finale destroyed the Clary and Jace characters? Well -- and I know this sounds snarky -- let’s look at the parade of plotholes, the random redistribution of plot points, Clary’s loss of agency, the and general sidelining of the Clary and Jace characters and their heroism. (Again, spoilers to follow). I leave the memory wipe to last here, because I still can’t believe that anyone thought destroying three seasons of character development was a good idea.
1. Evil Clary story line: In the books, Jace is twinned with Jonathan. This makes narrative sense: Jace and Jonathan are “brothers” of a sort, having both been raised by Valentine, and Jace’s vulnerability to Jonathan (and Lilith) is rooted in childhood trauma of abuse and neglect that Jace endured at the hands of Valentine.
In the show, however, Clary is twinned with Jonathan. From the start, Clary’s ability to resist the rune is tied to her proximity to Jace. In fact, as 3B progresses, Clary becomes increasingly unhinged and violent any time she is physically separated from Jace. Eventually, when she is blasted behind a wall while on mission (and thus physically separated from Jace), she succumbs entirely. All of a sudden we have dark Clary, taking a walk on the wild side with the murderous brother who kidnapped her and nearly killed Jace just a few short weeks ago in show time. Dark Clary joining forces to burn down the world that she loved, and that she repeatedly saved. Really??? And then, when Jace and the others finally manage to free her from twinning rune, we see Clary saying that she WANTED to help Jonathan with his murderous rampage. And, we hear Jace saying that the call of blood was too hard for Clary to resist. Again, really??? The girl who killed her father, called upon an angel to bring her boyfriend back to life, survived the death of her mother, and who was nearly killed by her possessed boyfriend is somehow unable to resist the call of her Morgenstern blood? What about Clary’s agency? Her strength? Her love for Jace and her chosen family? Her identity as a shadowhunter? Enthralled book Jace at least still loves Clary, and has a scene where he temporarily breaks free of the twinning rune, and makes it clear to Jonathan that he hates him, and that he is being controlled. But Clary says she wanted to help her brother, and that it’s her fault for being unable to resist her “blood.” While team evil might have been fun -- and probably was a blast for the actors to play -- it didn’t make narrative sense to me. Not the biggest sin, and to each his own. But not for me.
2. Heavenly fire storyline: In the book, Jace is filled w/ heavenly fire. Clary eventually figures out how to get the heavenly fire from Jace into her weapon (heosphoros), which she uses to kill Jonathan. In the show, Izzy gets the entire heavenly fire storyline. Again, why??? For one thing, the scene in which Clary and Izzy fight (and Izzy ends up with the heavenly fire after being struck by shrapnel) -- while cool -- made no sense to me. Book Izzy is a formidable warrior. Show Izzy is disarmed by Clary (who has been training to be a shadowhunter for, like, 5 minutes at the time of their battle). Also, why does Izzy get the heavenly fire from a few bits of shrapnel, but Clary is totally fine after being STABBED by the sword? More generally, other than giving Izzy more to do, what was the thinking behind taking away this story arc from Clary and Jace? And, for making Jace basically a potted plant in 3B? (In contrast to book Jace — who was key to the good guys’ victory— show Jace is made to basically stand there: Show Alec, Izzy, Magnus, and Simon get literally every single heroic plot point in the finale — remember that we’re Lightwoods moment, sans Jace (the adoptive brother)?? — while Jace is relegated to crying or supporting Clary.)
3. The Jace character: While this post is principally about Clary, I can’t help but note that the show did everything possible to isolate Jace and make him incompetent and unlikable.
- Book Jace comes across as arrogant and as a wise ass, but Clary and Alec see the arrogance for what it is -- a coping mechanism/ PTSD following a childhood full of trauma at the hands of Valentine. Through his relationship with Clary, Jace learns that he is worthy of being loved, and that he can love without destroying. And, Jace’s parabatai bond is a source of strength and joy for both Alec and Jace. Show Jace gets none of this. 3B kept Clary and Jace apart from each other much of the time (what w/ Evil Clary preferring to help her murderous brother burn down the world). 3B also effectively eliminated the parabatai bond: Alec is entirely focused on his relationship with Magnus, and he is impatient with a clearly suicidal Jace. You can count on one hand the number of minutes that Alec and Jace are on screen together in 3B.
- Book Jace becomes (with Clary) head of the NY institute, having rejected and fought against bigoted members of the cohort. I appreciate that this likely could not be shown b/c the show does not have the rights to TDA, but this does not explain why the show made Jace so incompetent as head of the NY institute. Show Jace gets the job only because of nepotism (Herondale blood). Show Jace is on board with the downworlder registry. Show Jace is so incompetent that he abdicates in favor of Alec after about a day. None of this made any sense.
- Book Jace is all-in w/ Clary from the beginning. He has one encounter w. Aline, but that’s presented as being as much about Aline’s confirmation of her sexual identity as it is about Jace in turmoil. (I know some people object to CC’s writing of Aline, but again, it’s her story.) But even if the showrunners felt that the Jace/Aline hook-up was “problematic” -- and I get that some fans feel that way -- why did the show choose to do some weird male version of slut-shaming of Jace? There is the Jace encounter with Maia. (To be clear, this was shitty to the Maia character, too. She hooks up with a drunk rebounding Jace, whom she had just tried to kill. behind a bar.) And, the comments about Jace, Kaelie and book club. Everyone keeps talking on the show about how Jace sleeps around, and they judge him for it, when, in reality, Jace is pretty darn faithful to his relationship with Clary from the moment they meet. Simon, Clary, Alec, Magnus, and Izzy all have more sexual encounters (and in the case of Simon and Izzy, more partners) vs. show Jace. And no one calls Simon or Clary slutty. No one decides that Alec is unworthy b/c he lies to Magnus. And no one decides Magnus is unworthy or slutty or not devoted to Alec because he’s had many sexual partners in the past.
- As noted elsewhere, the show isolated and shamed a clearly depressed and suicidal Jace in 3B. He’s shown devastated and alone in 3B when he thinks Clary is dead in the “Lost Without You” montage: Alec (his parabatai) and Magnus are busy comforting each other; Maia is comforting Simon; Mayrse is nowhere to be found. Same thing after Jace almost gets himself killed on the mission involving the Seelie: Alec yells at him and tells him to suck it up; Mayrse once again is absent; and only Izzy checks in. Then, in the flash forward, Alec, Magnus, Izzy, Luke, Mayrse, and Maia all seem entirely unconcerned with Jace’s state of mind. Once again, he’s told to suck it up and move on.
4. Female characters/ sexuality generally on the show: So much could be written about the show’s treatment of its female characters generally. Book Izzy is strong and fierce, and yes, body and sex positive. Show Izzy is all over the map. S1 captures Izzy’s sass, but she’s treated like slutty eye candy sometimes. S2 and S3 Izzy has more depth, but less sass. Tell me again why she had to be a drug addict? Or, why she gets disarmed by Clary (who had a couple of months of training at that point in show time) in the finale? Or why she alone (vs. Mayre or Alec) is sent to check on a clearly suicidal Jace? To be clear, I loved the Jace/ Izzy bond, but why does the show let Alec and Mayrse off the hook w/ regard to Jace’s mental health, and leave Izzy w/ caretaking duties? And Mayrse, who seems to exist in season 3 solely for the purpose of being punished — and then being redeemed — for her S1 homophobia. She becomes “captain of the Malec ship” after being deruned, and then is shown caring for Alec when Magnus is in Edom, and nurturing the Malec relationship. But, she vacations in Brazil in the finale with zero regard for her grief-stricken, suicidal adoptive son? And then there is Maia. Why does she hook up with Jace against a wall behind a bar? And what’s with the forgiving her abuser storyline? And Clary. Believe me, nothing made me happier than the show’s decision to make reasonably short work of the incest story line. But to have Clary literally jump into bed with Simon, her bff? Immediately after learning --falsely, as it turns out -- that Jace was her sibling? Was that Clary’s first sexual encounter? Was is not weird to suddenly start sleeping with your friend (who you turned into the vampire, and who can walk in the daylight b/c he drank your ex-boyfriend/ now you think your sibling’s blood)? I know the books present Jace, Clary and Simon as a love triangle — YA, after all — but book Clary wrestles w/ her feelings for Simon. I get that aging them up on the show — which I liked — would have changed the dynamic around these relationships and the characters’ sex lives, but the handling of the Climon story line was so clumsy. And, in any event, why is S2 Clary snarky about Jace’s sexual past (the book club comments)? And in 3B, why does dark Clary manipulate — or worse — a basically roofied Jace at the club?
5. The Memory Wipe: OH.MY.GOD. I CANNOT EVEN CONVEY THE DEPTHS OF MY DISLIKE FOR THIS TROPE OF A PLOT POINT. In the book, Simon volunteers to give Asmodeus his memories, thus saving Magnus (and everyone else). Once again, this makes narrative sense -- Simon never wanted to be a vampire, and he (unlike Magnus) could survive the loss of his memories, and even return to mundane life. And, after Simon gives up his memories, his friends NEVER give up on him. Clary, Izzy, and the others watch him, they reach out to him, and eventually, with Magnus’s help, they reconnect with him. Magnus even says that stealing Simon’s memories was a little bit “fascist.”
Show Clary has it much, much worse. Let’s remember how it played out in the finale:
- Jonathan goes on a murderous rampage. Clary saves the world using her rune power, killing her last living relative, knowing she would be stripped of the Sight and her memories.
- Notwithstanding Jonathan’s mass slaughter and Clary’s sacrifice, the MOST IMPORTANT THING is that Magnus and Alec have decided to get married at the institute the very next day, after dating for about three months on-and-off in show time.
- And so we have much of the finale devoted to the wedding. We see everyone smiling and happy (despite the slaughter of shadowhunters around the world the day before and Jonathan’s death at Clary’s hands). We see Clary in a very revealing dress sobbing as she dances with her boyfriend and her runes are obviously disappearing -- but no one notices. We see Jace letting a sobbing Clary walk out the door.
- And then we see Clary alone, sobbing on the street in a revealing party dress, in the cold, with no memories, no I.D., no best friend, no love of her life, no money, no home (burned down in season 1), no mother (killed by Alec), no father figure. Nothing. I get that sacrifice is a shadowhunter virtue, but the trope of a memory wipe (I see you, Chuck) is SO far from canon, and so inconsistent with how Clare wrapped up the Clary (and Jace stories). Zero emotional logic.
- Then, to make matters worse, we jump ahead one year, and no one gives a shit about Clary or Jace or their sacrifice at all. Alec and Magnus are living their best life mixing cocktails in Alicante (leaving Alec’s clearly devastated and suicidal parabatai to just figure things out, I guess). Maryse (Jace’s adoptive mother) and Luke (Clary’s father figure) are vacationing in Brazil, seemingly more concerned about the humidity than they are about Clary or Jace; Izzy and Simon are loving life together at the NY institute (so much for Clary and Izzy as parabatai, or Simon and Clary’s friendship); and Simon tells a grieving, suicidal Jace -- the same Jace who almost killed himself a couple of weeks prior in show time -- to stop checking on Clary and to move on. Apparently, Simon thought that Maia’s naming a salad after Clary was enough. So much for Jace’s mental health. So much for Clary and Simon’s friendship (and in the books, their eventual parabatai bond).
- But, we we did get closure for the lizard/ Lorenzo; Underhill’s first name; and an update on Raphael. All of these developments were apparently more important than honoring Clary’s narrative arc, her chosen identify as a shadowhunter, her relationship with Jace, and her chosen family.
None of it made any sense.
1. Why would the angels strip Clary of the Sight when she used her rune power to SAVE THE DAMN WORLD? After all, let’s see who gets to keep the Sight/ memories in the showrunners’ telling: Valentine (insane, imprisoned an angel, killed downworlders and shadowhunters ); Jonathan (murderous, insane); Alec (killed Clary’s mother while possessed); Izzy (also possessed); Jace (killed his grandmother and mundanes while possessed, threw Clary off a roof, almost killed Alec); Jocelyn (almost killed Jace, circle member); Aldertree (despite getting Izzy addicted to drugs and torturing downworlders). The list goes on. But Clary’s invention of runes to stop her insane brother from destroying the world incurs the wrath of the angels?
2. The showrunners would have us believe that Clary lost the Sight (and her memories) because the angels were spiteful. How does this fit with Cassie Clare’s conception of angels AT ALL? They are completely unconcerned with human emotions in the books. And, why would only Clary suffer this fate when, as noted above, there are shadowhunters who did terrible things for entirely selfish or otherwise awful reasons?
3. In what world would Jace not notice his girlfriend’s runes disappearing? In what world would he ever let his sobbing, de-runed girlfriend -- whom he just got back from the twinning rune/possession/killing her last living relative -- walk out the door alone?
4. For a show so concerned about representation, what about Jace’s story as a survivor of childhood abuse and trauma? What about Jace’s near suicide earlier in 3B? Why does everyone in Jace’s life (specifically Alec after the Seelie mission and Simon in the finale) tell Jace to suck it up and move on when he is clearly depressed and suicidal? What about the show’s depiction of the relationship between Jace and his adoptive family? What message does the finale send about who was — and was not — a member of the Lightwood family when Mayrse and Alec either ignore Jace or yell at him when he is grieving and suicidal? So much for family. And, what about Clary’s mental health, after the showrunners stripped her of her friends, family, chosen family, memories, identity, home, and love?
And then, after all of this, the showrunners made things worse by talking up how important the wedding was for them, even as they made it clear they didn’t care about the resolution of the Clary, Jace and Clace story lines.
- The show runners misidentified the supposedly spiteful angel who I guess would have been the big bad in Season 4 in press coverage of the finale.
- They said they didn’t know where the Clary, Jace and Clace story was heading, and that “fan fiction” would figure it out.
- They talked about how difficult and important the seating chart was for the wedding, and about how they had tried to get every character, no matter how minor, back for the “reception” scene. And they spent precious time in the finale showing us party scenes involving ancillary non-canon characters (Underhill, Lorenzo) vs. coming up with a coherent resolution to the protagonist’s story.
- They engaged only with Malec content on social media, and talked endlessly how the show was a “love letter” to fans, and ignored less favorable fan reaction involving the Clary and Jace characters.
- Same drill for the writers, BTW. A young female writer for the show (who supposedly was the book stan in the writers’ room) has been on social media explaining how great it was Clary’s story line came “full circle” in finale. She’s now heading to a con with the show runners, having studiously ignored questions about the show’s treatment of Clary and Jace. (I get why she would do this — work, and all — but still.)
- To the extent the showrunners, producers, and writers have addressed Clary and Jace at all in press coverage of the finale, they have argued that the memory wipe was no harm/no foul b/c the final scene suggests that love conquers all. First, we knew that -- we are talking about a pulpy YA novel, after all. Second, if the last scene sends the message that love conquers all, it’s because Kat M. and Dom S., the performers, imbued that scene with more depth and emotion than the writing deserved. Finally, the love conquers narrative ignores the fact that Clary and Jace earned their character arcs as INDIVIDUALS, not just as half of a ship. Clary deserved her identity, her chosen family, and her love. Jace deserved his hard-won happiness with himself, and in his relationship with Clary (and in his relationships with Alec and Izzy). I personally didn’t want a wedding -- I don’t think anyone should get married after a few months of mostly unsuccessful dating. I did, however, want to see these characters enjoying their hard-won happiness vs. a dystopian future for two characters only, w/ a rom com meet cute tacked on at the end.
Fundamentally, the showrunners made SHTV into a fan service-, ship war- driven series of plotpoints in 3B and the finale. There are lots of potential reasons for this: Maybe they preferred the Malec storyline, and thought that playing to Malec fans might help the show get picked up (or maybe get a Malec spinoff approved); maybe they thought that punishing Jace and sidelining Clary might please some segments of the SHTV fandom; maybe they bought into the idea that the books are “problematic” and need to be fixed, or that dislike of certain performers justifies trashing the character. Whatever. The end result is the same: For me, they lost the narrative thread of the characters, and the emotional logic of the stories. They fed into a stupid ship war and a stupid book vs. show war. And, they played into scarcity, as if honoring Malec required tearing down Clace.
At the end of the day, the show runners’ decision to wipe Clary’s memory broke the show for me. No matter how much I love Malec, and no matter how amazing the last scene was (and how lovely the performances were in that scene), I will always believe that Clary and Jace deserved better.
And so I want to say to the showrunners and writers: NEXT TIME, LET YOUR PROTAGONIST HAVE HER STORY. SHE EARNED IT. (And FFS be tiny bit humble when there is source material :-).

"Damn, yer even taller in person." That was the FIRST thing Grimmjow blurted out at the other, upon walking up to him. He was fucking HUGE. Looks like today was FULL of firsts. First time in an actual filming studio. First time meeting his co-stars. And the first time Grimmjow had to come to work CLOTHED. "The name's Grimmjow." He held his hand out. "I ain't sure if you've heard 'bout me yet, but I'm gonna be playin Ángel." He smirked. "Don't worry. You'll be seein me around A LOT." [ACTOR AU.]
His mood? SHITTY. Actually, ‘ shitty ‘ was the understatement of the year. Nnoitra more or less felt like his life was falling apart. He KNEW he was being ‘ dramatic ‘ and that he should take a professional approach to all of this but— FUCK it was hard! The biggest problem was that all his attempts to get himself OUT of this situation had failed. He had thought that, yeah it all sucked - BUT he would be able to get out of it. All he needed to do was talk to the writers and the producers, to get them to understand that the script they had given him was completely out of character for Jian. But, somehow - FOR SOME FUCKING REASON, nobody seemed to see it from his point of view! Nobody shared his opinion, and even though he felt like he had explained it to them in a way that was easy to understand, they still hadn’t been able to grasp what he was talking about. Was it THAT difficult to understand that Jian was straight? Apparently. So, all in all? Nnoitra was fucked.
He hadn’t given up easily. He had been in several heated arguments with lots of people. He had made a few completely empty threats about quitting. He had considered that it might be better for Jian to get killed off rather than have his character completely destroyed with this new love interest he was getting in this season. But, it seemed like such a waste, to have all his hard work just end with the character dying in some random scene. Jian deserved better. He deserved better than falling in love with a guy as well, but there was nothing Nnoitra could do about it. When this realization finally sunk in, he became sort of… Depressed. He felt powerless and used. It sucked. Defeated, that’s what he felt - and what he was.
After the ‘ acceptance ‘ stage was over, Nnoitra had begun to actually LOOK at his script, to begin to prepare for the upcoming scenes. Since he always took longer than everyone else to learn his lines, AND he had gotten his script last, he was far behind the other actors. Because of the delay of his script ( it had needed some last-minute tweaking ), scenes not involving him were already being filmed. Nnoitra had spent a few days on set, to meet up with the new members of the cast, and of course to chat up his other colleagues. People he had known for years. After receiving his manuscript, Nnoitra hadn’t been seen for a few days while he tried to cope with everything. Now though, he was more or less done with sulking. He was… As ready as he would ever be to get on with all of this. He was on set today because he would be a part of a scene. Thankfully he only had a few lines. He had spent all morning practicing them. They were GOOD, and it really cheered him up to know that at least Jian still got to have some snarky comments. He needed that, seeing as he was literally going to be stripped of all dignity.
It was almost time for him to head over to the hair-and-make-up section and get into his costume. It had been a while since he had had his hair styled like Jian’s, and he was kinda looking forward to it. Getting his hair touched by his stylist was always soothing. Considering how tense he was feeling, it was something he sorely needed. He figured he should head over so that his stylist could spend a little extra time on him.
But, on his way over to the stylist section, someone stopped him. Nnoitra thought he had already greeted all the new actors, but this was a guy he hadn’t seen before. He was fairly tall ( though of course, no where near his own height ). That comment about him being tall was something he had heard about a million times, but it wasn’t often the first thing a person said to him when meeting. Nnoitra looked him up and down. He had that athletic build that Nnoitra could only dream of. His eyes were piercing blue, like he had a fucking SKY trapped in his head. Oh, and he was blonde. Nnoitra realized who he was before he introduced himself. Of fucking course. There was only ONE ‘ character ‘ he hadn’t met yet. Jian’s love interest. Nnoitra was so stunned by suddenly being face-to-face with the source of all the distress he had been in these past few days, that it took him a moment to take the other’s hand. On a professional level, he KNEW that it wasn’t this guy’s fault that the writers had decided Jian’s fate to be so messed up. So, Nnoitra took his hand. Grimmjow, huh? What a weird name. Nnoitra hadn’t heard of him before.
❝ I’m Nnoitra. ❞ Obviously. Grimmjow seemed like a pretty cocky guy, judging from that smirk. Clearly, he DIDN’T have a problem with the role he was going to play. Well, figures, since he must’ve auditioned for it. Nnoitra wondered why ANYONE would want such a role. Did this guy realize what he was getting himself into? Nnoitra wondered how many had been to the audition. Nnoitra squeezed the other’s hand in a FIRM hand-shake, as if to tell him who the FUCK was in charge here. While Grimmjow was smirking, Nnoitra was expressing his distaste for all of this. It was hard to not make this personal. He knew it wasn’t but… Yeah.
He’d be seeing him around a LOT, huh? Yeah. He was FULLY AWARE of that! The two of them had plenty of scenes together. Nnoitra pulled his hand way, and crossed his arms over his chest. Another sign that he was neither comfortable OR happy. ❝ So yer ‘da guy who’s gonna be playin’ HIM, huh? Why would ya wanna play that role? ❞ It might be rude, but he didn’t give a shit. He just wanted to know WHY he wanted that role. The fact that the show had chosen an unknown actor to play that role, when they COULD have afforded a well known one, did indicate that not that many people had audictioned for the role.
Nnoitra looked at him, and tried to imagine what it would be like to play against him. How was he supposed to make it believable that Jian was in love with him? Like HELL Nnoitra wanted his acting to look shitty just because he was thrown this challenge. It was the script that was bad, that did NOT mean his acting was going to be! But, how was he supposed to… Do this? How was he supposed to look at him like he was into him? And what about those… PHYSICAL scenes? Nnoitra suppressed a shiver. Not like the guy was bad looking or anything. Nnoitra could already imagine him getting plenty of fan-girls with those looks. But that didn’t change the fact that he WAS A GUY.
Another question that needed to be answered was - would it be easier to play this role if he KNEW the guy? Or would that make it even more awkward? Because of his inability to learn lines by reading them, he often had one-on-ones in private with the other actors. By playing out the lines, he was able to learn them. He knew many thought he was a pain in the ass for being so BAD at learning shit. But, he DID get along with some of the other actors, so that their one-on-ones were fun. How was he supposed to do that with THIS GUY? Without it becoming the most awkward situation known to man? Nnoitra didn’t think he had ever met someone who had given him so many questions. Or stressed him out this much. Not that it showed, apart from how his arms squeezed his chest a bit, and his shoulders tensed. How was he going to deal with all of this?

Because is friends #25th anniversary:
I'll do a 2019 AU, on how the show would go if it was scripted nowdays.
Rachel would be dropping off medical school instead of a wedding. " No, dad you can't keep paying for me to pass a class, i dont want to cut people open, i want to cut silk!, i dont want you to buy me silk dad ITS A METAPHORE".
She would be a digital influencer, and have a fashion blog. Would be "instafamous" in no time, but would have a hard time balancing her career and her fashion course at Uni (she gets a scholarship). And even tough she is is recognized, she only gets collabs and free samples, not actual money (to live off that), so she would still have to live with Monica, and work part time at the central perk. Ends up having a Family yt channel after Emma is born, she meets a cute Poc guy ( a model) that marries her and love Emma as if she is his own child. Ross is out of the picture once she realizes that their Toxic relationship isnt worth the work.
GRoss would be cancelled by season 02 because the fandom despite his annoying Ass. He would be a secundary character showing up randomly, only to be ridiculized and pay the price of his actions ( he is kinda like Janice would be on the original)
Susan and Carol the other way around, come back as part of the protagonists on s2, they tie the "women alliance" on the show together, and they have their own arc on the show, focusing on being a Young lesbian couple raising a little boy. Everytime Rachel have a fight with Ross, they support her, they have a blended family relationship since Rachel is their child's "stepmom" for a while, they get along pretty fine which makes GRoss pissed. (Can you imagine " Oh, no, im the stepmom, they are the moms" ). After Emma is born, they help Rach cope with this new part of her life.
(Lesbian represtation of a healthy happy family?yes please).
Monica works at a foodtruck at first, then que starts bloggin about her cooking methods and end up working for Tasty, the fans love her and she gets her own segments. She publishes cookboks, work at celebrities parties... She is Anxious Millenial™️ and goes trough the "i need therapy" arc, she tries doing yoga, meditation, and any other alternative for being in peace that phoebes comes out with, but at the of the day she goes home and just plays the most violent games she can find, she is really good at them btw. Also, hers and Chandle's journey trough infertility have way more screentime and they get to show their parenting skills and adorable funny moments with the twins.
Joey is bi and there is that. He is not out since the beggining so we follow his progress into accepting his own sexuality, and embracing sensitive side. Specially as a young actor is super hard for him, since he is afraid of falling on stereotypes, but the worst fear he has is losing Chandlers respect ( cue emotional scene when he finally opens up to Chandler, that ruin everything making a terrible joke, but then says the right thing ♡) dates a lot, but also have a couple of good relationships (because he is Soft and deserves better).
He goes viral after making a total mess of an interview and spilling Major top secret content of a project, and becomes the white boy of the year.
Chandler is Just Chandler, nothing says millenial better than sarcasm, loyalty to your friends, falling for someone you know for ever, mas having terrible unhealthy habits, oh, and having a fucking weird job no one understands.
First:add poc and minorities in general, EVERYWHERE.
Phoebes is also pretty much the same: speaks irony fluently, passionate vegan, boho style. Is addicted with making everyone's astral map.
Caries those cristals with healing powers but would puch a woman in the face if she hears antivaxx bullshit. Feminist, activist, anarquist.Makes fun of her own dark and depressive lifestory. Thinks she can make it as a Singer, but end up becoming a stand up comedian telling her streetlife stories that are so absurd, that no one takes it seriously.

i have a terrible anderperry au id like to throw into the void that is my blog:
so im rewatching the first season of american horror story and it got me thinking about todd and neil but like everything i do reminds me of them at this point.
todd as violet and neil as tate but like to a HELL of a lesser degree. todd moves to los angeles for a special writing program but his house is hella fucking haunted with some ghosts of teenagers, specifically a bunch of dead poets named steven, charlie, richard, knox, gerard, and neil. but todd doesnt know they are dead, he figures them to be neighborhood kids who sneak into his house all the time. his eccentric neighbor mr keating tells him stories of the boys who used to live in the house, but only refers to them by their last names as to not expose the secrets of the spirits. todd visits john often for advice when his parents are unhelpful, which is always.
steven was a chemist who got killed by one of his own experiments; knoxs house got burned down with him inside; richard got hit by a car outside; gerard got electrocuted by a faulty light socket; charlie choked to death; neil killed hinself.
todd finds a book inside of poetry that has distinctive handwriting of the boys, each over the years writing in it without ever signing it. eventually he meets them all after they keep pulling childish pranks like stealing clothes and opening drawers.
they become his only friends since he is so withdrawn at school. his parents ignore him and the poets are all he has.
steven likes to talk to todd about science and listens to music with him. charlie likes to pull the most pranks on todd and mess with him (sometimes he goes by nuwanda and gets somewhat irrational and violent, but the others tell him charlie does it to cope with trauma). knox is mopey as hell and talks to todd about someone named chris and his love for her. richard sometimes says rude things and discourages todd but he ignores it, most of the time. gerard keeps todd motivated and encourages his writing. they all love todds poetry and ask him to read frequently.
but neil is different.
he sweet talks todd, and finds him when hes his lowest. he says he moved to la to be an actor but after his father denounced his dream he said he would've killed himself if his father didnt eventually divorce his mother and leave them. neil tells todd he loves him and the others tease them but support their relationship.
the ending could go different ways:
1) soon todds parents find out about the poets and decide to send him to a mental institution. the poets are heartbroken, but neil most of all.
he insists to todd that he has to kil himself, that its the only way they can be together. he says that its like romeo and juliet, that they can finally stay together forever if he does.
the other poets find out and try to stop neil and save todd.
2) todd discovers the poets to all be dead and is enraged that they lied to him. they insist it was for the best but todd remains bitter.
3) todd gets sick and dies in the house, joining the dead poets
4) neil convinces todd not to kill himself after todd attempts, and they heal together.
this au has probably been done before but like,,, i havent seen it before :^)
#space.txt#dead poets society#anderperry#i think im gonna write this#i might change the ending to keep it more pure but i love dramatic neil
