I usually don't ship Sanji x Ace, but I don't mind seeing the pairing, but check em out..

Ace, who's a Devil Fruit user, he ate the Mera Mera no Mi, while Sanji is flame resistant.

Sanji not getting affected around Ace's flames made Ace fall for him as if like Sanji accepted Ace for something he is dangerous of.

Part 2: Dining Room

Sanji was raised to be a gentleman, and he’d consider it rude if  he didn’t greet the host first, no matter how many of them there are. 

“I think I should say hello to Luffy first,” he says to Bon-Chan, “You said he’s in the dining room, correct?” 

“Of course,” they reply with a bright smile and a laugh, “He and his brother always have trouble waiting for the dinner part of dinner parties, and end up hanging out there until the food is ready.”

Sanji wasn’t aware Luffy had a brother, but then again, their only interaction had been a very brief and chaotic affair. Still, he’s very curious about them both, and heads off to the room Bon-Chan indicates. 

The dining room is a large, magnificent space, with a huge wooden table in the middle of it big enough to seat twenty. He notices, however, it’s only set for seven, with the fine china carefully arranged on the end closest to what he assumes is the kitchen. There are cabinets circling the room from floor to ceiling filled with more dishes, and huge windows behind the head of the table, the rain pattering quietly against them.

There’s a large chandelier hanging above the table, along with a young man in a straw hat swinging from it.

Luffy, he recognizes immediately. Their host for the evening.

He’d met Luffy only a few days ago, when he’d been working on a case. He’d been hired by a chef to find out if their recipe had been stolen by a competitor. He’d found himself in the alleged thief's kitchen with Luffy — why he was there was anyone’s guess — and ended up feeding him while he figured out if the spice combination in this restaurant’s curry was exactly the same as his client’s. 

Luffy had been enamored with both his food and his stories of past cases, at least until the cops showed up to chase them both out for trespassing. But he’d insisted he come to his dinner party, scribbling down his address on a nearby napkin and refusing to leave until Sanji took it and promised him he’d be there. 

Now, watching him swing so recklessly from his own chandelier, Sanji is starting to have second thoughts. 

“He’ll be fine up there,” a calm voice says nearby, “Don't worry about him. He’s a tough one.”

Sitting at the table is a slightly older man with a smattering of freckles and a charming smile. 

Sanji can feel a blush on his face as he offers his own smile in return, “You’re his brother, I presume?”

“You got it,” the man laughs and holds out his hand, wincing a little as he shifts, but he quickly hides his pain, “The name’s Ace.”

“Sanji,” he says as he shakes his hand, “Sanji Black.”

“Sanji, huh?” Ace raises a brow as his eyes rake up and down him, and Sanji tries his best not to fidget under the attention, “You know, you look an awful lot like that famous detective, Mr. Prince.”

“Yes, they call me that,” Sanji nods and smiles, “But I wouldn’t say famous. I just help out where I can.”

“You solved that kidnapping in Marineford a few years back, right?” Ace tilts his head and flashes a charming smile, “That wasn’t nothing. Don’t sell yourself short.”

“I…” Sanji clears his throat, flustered by the praise from an attractive stranger, but says sincerely, “Thank you.”

There’s a loud crash as Luffy jumps down from the chandelier, landing on the table not far from them. Luckily both he and the sturdy table look no worse for the wear, both seemingly accustomed to the reckless behavior.

“That was fun,” he laughs, his bright gaze and sunny smile landing on Sanji, igniting him from head to toe, and he suddenly remembers why he agreed to come in the first place, “Sanji! You made it!”

“Of course,” Sanji smiles easily back at him, “Sorry, I seem to be a little late, and soaked, but thank you for having me.”

Luffy hardly seems to care about the state he’s in, launching himself at Sanji and wrapping him in a tight hug, making Sanji blush even harder. 

“I’m so glad you're here,” he laughs in his ear as he pulls away and turns towards his brother, “Ace, he’s the guy I told you about, the one with the curry.”

“The chef?” Ace chuckles, his smile wide and pleasant, “Luffy, you’re selling him short! He’s a world famous detective!”

“World famous is a hell of an overstatement,” Sanji scratches behind his ear, embarrassed by the praise. 

“Oh, really?” Luffy turns his wide, pleased gaze back to him, “That’s pretty cool! But you’ll still make me that curry again if I want, right?”

“If you’d like,” Sanji says with a laugh, once again getting swept up into Luffy’s pace, “But perhaps some other time. I’m sure your chef already has a meal planned for tonight.”

“Yeah!” He says with a little jump in the air, “It’s gonna be great! I can’t wait to eat with everyone! Oh yeah, that reminds me.”

Luffy dashes off to the other side of the dining room, stopping near the kitchen door. 

“That’s Luffy for you,” Ace says with a fond smile on his face as he watches his brother, “Always on the go. Never a dull moment with him around.”

There’s an open seat next to Ace, pushed out slightly as if waiting for Sanji to sit in it, but Luffy’s glancing back at him as well, as if waiting expectantly for him.

Y'know what's funny? That some of the Sanji AU's can exist in a same ASL+S childhood friends universe- (with Acesan or even Sabosan - Ace or Sabo having a childhood crush on the boy and just years later starting to date him, just to discover WHO is boyfriend parent's are)

Like, Warlord!Sanji who starts to "work" at Baratie to know how to cook a little early but from time to time go to Amazon Lily, Alabasta, Dressrosa, Kuraigana or Fishman Island. But meets the ASL while going at Foosha and ends up becoming friends with him. (Would be funny if, like-

Or Croc!Sanji when he is with Zeff, or even Golden!Sanji with Mihawk (even a little worried) let his son be in Baratie sometimes, even if Sanji is most of the time in Kuraigana until he's 15/16.

That is so fucking funny. I'm answering in a few parts because you gave me brain worms so thanks. Also there's a few different scenarios here. Croc and Golden!Sanji above the cut and rather short but sabosan warlord!Sanji below the cut!

Croc!Sanji with guardians Zeff and Sir Crocodile who fucking hate each other. Sanji tells Crocodile about his friends in Foosha who Zeff doesn't let them see anymore because of how often he's gone in Alabasta and he needs the experience and the work so Crocodile after picking him up sails to Foosha with him and Daz. Sanji being scooped up in a big hug when he finds Ace and Luffy and they're all yelling at each other happily. Crocodile and Daz watch because Sanji is mostly used to adults both in Alabasta and Baratie so to see him with kids around his age is strange. Crocodile gets them all dinner and watches his kid bolt off into the woods after as he and Daz look at each other.

Crocodile fucking knew it because that kid with the scar under his eye beat his fucking ass with his son and while he is proud he's ready to strangle his son's childhood friend.

Mihawk takes Golden!Sanji to eat and eventually work every few weeks if he's not on a job when Baratie is open. At some point their in Foosha for a few days when Ace accidentally bumps into him and Sabo starts laying into Ace because that's Dracule Mihawk you idiot and Sanji is looking at them from behind Mihawk and Makino is telling ASL off and to go sit and be quiet. Mihawk tells her and them it's okay, they're children and it was an accident.

Luffy points at Sanji and asks why there's a baby with him and Ace and Sabo immediately thump Luffy on the head but Luffy says Shanks doesn't let kids go with him why would any pirate? So Mihawk asks how Luffy knows Shanks and invites the three of them to join them to try to get Sanji socialized a little bit with kids his own age. Makino is staring at them with worry the entire meal but Mihawk easily guides them and answers most of the questions Luffy has about Shanks. Mihawk follows them into the jungle with Sanji and watches Sanji actually play with them.

He calls Shanks from the Baratie and tells him about Sanji and ASL playing which makes Shanks question because Luffy doesn't have brothers and Mihawk laugh that he does, and they're all insane.

Warlord!Sanji being taken to Baratie every time it's in port but for some fucking reason it's always in Foosha when they go. Sanji works the prep and lunch shifts and then during the evenings is sent out to the town with whichever parent is there with him.

He meets ASL and looks at them with his head tilted in confusion. Sanji asks where their guardians are and they say they don't have any. They live by themselves in the jungle and Sanji looks between them and the jungle and they convince Sanji to go with them for a bit and Sanji watches in curious horror at the fire they build and how they cook meat. When it starts getting dark Sanji apologizes that he has to leave so they take him back to the edge of the woods and Sanji promises to see them again next time he's in Foosha and runs off to where ever his parent

Sanji doesn't come by often, every couple of months but he teaches them how to kind of cook and leaves Sabo books on the importance of nutrition and some cookbooks. Ace might be good at building fires but Sanji shows him how to build them for cooking more easily. He leaves whenever it starts getting dark with waves and promises to come back soon. ASL think Sanji is weird because sometimes there's a man waiting for him in the road near the woods, sometimes a woman, but they think the guy is weird because he always looks different.

When Sanji comes after Sabo "dies" he cooks a bunch of food for Ace and Luffy. He doesn't cry in front of them, he doesn't want to show weakness to the toughest kids he knows. So when it's time for him to go and he meets with the woman who is there sometimes and she crouches down to talk to Sanji and look at them. They know Sanji is telling her they don't like adults, they live with mountain bandits sometimes but like the jungle more. She looks between them and waves at them with Sanji before they leave.

It continues that way for a few years until Sanji stops having an adult wait for him. He stays out longer than he used to. Ace and Luffy don't ask him about the adults. Everything stays the same until after Ace is saved from the execution and suddenly Sabo is staying with the crew as much as possible to make up for lost time. He confesses to Sanji and they start dating, Sabo is wooed from how knowledgeable Sanji is about food and nutrition and then a seeming too wide net of subjects that don't really make sense to anyone. Sure finances go well with cooking, his dream is a restaurant but why does he know that much about poisons and how to make them in various forms?

Why does he know how to synthesize so many drugs? Sanji knows a lot about body decomposition and weapons and so many forms of combat and a few languages which make Sabo and everyone look at him in puzzlement. Ace is constantly asking why he knows that shit and Luffy is just saying he's smart.

For some reason or another their meeting up with the other four warlords from Ace's botched execution and Sabo is asking why Sanji looks so pale and Sanji is apologizing to him as the warlords are looking at the hand of Sanji he is holding then to him, and then to Sanji. He feels a pooling sense of dread as all of a sudden Jinbei steps forward.

"This Sabo, from when Sanji was a child. Luffy and Ace's brother we thought to be dead." Jinbei says.

"So the dead kid is now the Chief of Staff for the Revolutionary Army and dating our son?" Boa asks to which Jinbei nods at.

"You're parents are the Warlords who helped at my execution?" Ace asks Sanji.

"They were the ones waiting on the road?" Luffy asks after.

"You guys never went to meet them?!" Nami yells at them.

"It's complicated!" Sabo exclaims.

"I want to hear this." Zoro grins.

"We hated adults!" Sabo defends.

"They did. They used to try to convince to me to stay." Sanji nods.

"They lived in a jungle. I heard about several incidents where they almost burned down the jungle." Crocodile nods.

"I'm sure we don't need to talk about what will happen to you if you hurt our son?" Mihawk asks Sabo who nods soberly as Robin giggles.

Vague summary of this year's Vinsmoke Shipping Week!

Day 1 - Meet cute / MortalxImmortal

Overall, Yonji (most shipped with Cosette this day) took over, followed closely by Reiju (with Perona) Niji and then Ichiji, both of whom had very diverse shipping!

Day 2 - First date / DetectivexCriminal

Apparently people decided that that day was ReijuxTashigi day, and it makes sense lmao, Yonji takes second place and Niji and Ichiji share third!

Day 3 - Meeting family-friends / DevilxAngel

Yonji's day again! (Mostly with Sabo this time), closely followed by Niji (with Uta), then Ichiji, and Reiju and Zosan share fourth place.

Plus a surprise Judge w Sora in their younger days!

Day 4 - Red String of Fate / HeroxVillain

Ichiji really took over this day! (With Katakuri), then was Niji (with Usopp), Yonji took third place and last came Reiju (with Kiku) and then we got surprise Sparking Red X Sora Warrior of the Sea!

Day 5 - Love Letter / RoyalxKnight

Another Yonji day! (With Cosette), second place is shared by Reiju (with Tashigi), Niji and Ichiji (with Ace), plus some Sanami at the end!

Day 6 - Jealousy / CelebrityxFan

Ichiji, Niji (with Uta) and Reiju (with Tashigi) share first place! Yonji takes second and we got some Acesan in last.

Day 7 - Free day!

Ichiji sweep! (With Ace) Second place to Sanji (with Zoro), third for Yonji and fourth for both Niji and Reiju. And some surprise SoraxZeff!

There were some extras too! Mostly for the quadruplets and specifically the terrible 3!

AceSan Week day 3: Modern AU! Sorry this is late in the day, forgot to post this on here lols

I don’t like Acesan, but not because I think it’s weird or I don’t like it, the idea of it just makes me really sad bc like. Sanji and Ace only ever met once, and they’re not going to meet again. Ever.

It doesn’t matter if you consider the filler eps with Ace canon or not, they only knew each other for a week or less in the anime and only a few minutes in the manga. I don’t like Acesan in the sense I don’t like thinking about how sad it is. Imagine meeting someone you fall in love with, or think that there’s the potential of falling in love with them if you get to know them more, but you have to part ways with them soon after. You think to yourself, “We have time. We’ll meet again.” And you go on with your life, thinking of the wonderful memories you had of this person and looking forward to the day you’ll see them again…

And then you find out they died. And there was nothing you could do about it. You were too far away to even try to save them. And you realize that those memories of when you first met them are the only memories you’re ever going to have of them. You met them for the first and last time that day, and you didn���t even know.

That’s what Acesan is to me. So I don’t like Acesan, because it makes me really, really sad to think about.

One particular that is on my mind is a Modern Werewolf au inspired by the fic Heavy on my mind.

Here, werewolfs have secondary genders,  and some of these folsk are living in separate communities or some live in society. The Strawhats formed their own pack, which is mixed because some of them are human.

Luffy has a birthday party with his crew/pack, and of course, his brothers are there as well. Long story short, Ace and Sanji drunkenly hook up. Morning after they just decide this not going to affect their relationship. (Which a little bit sucks because Sanji has a crush on Ace) They go their separated way, but fate brings them back together when Sanji shows signs of pregnancy a few weeks later.

But that's impossible. Sanji thoughs. It should be impossible because Sanji is a werewolf, and Ace is a human. He tells the crew/pack, and they support him, but they still ask who the other parent is. Anxiously, but he confesses that it's Ace. What surprises him is that Luffy is not mad. Luffy is not mad because then, as the pack leader, he doesn't have to accept some rando into the pack (he would accept the rando too. They just have to be a nice person)

A few days later, Sanji builds up the courage to tell Ace. Which also has to come with him telling Ace he is a werewolf and that Luffy is the leader of a mixed pack. (And maybe he tells him he has a little crush on him) At first Ace is confused but not angry and pretty quickly accepts the responsibilities (mostly because he doesn't want to be like his own dad) After they discuss what exactly Sanji needs for a more bearable pregnancy, one which is the scent of the other parent, Ace decides to move in with Sanji.

One day they have a cuddle session which calms Sanji's omega so much he almost doesn't notice Ace shoveing his nose in the back of his neck, licking the scent glands, and almost biting it. Sanji quickly comes to his senses to yank Ace's head from his neck. The other just yelps in confusion being forcefully woken up from his nap.

"What's wrong?" asks Ace

"You were licking my neck and tried to bite it!"

"I did? Sorry, I probably had a very vivid dream about food or something. Huh, but I did smelled something good. Is that bad?"

Bad? That's strange! It's peak alpha behavior, my guy. Which you shouldn't be!

This goes to the point that one day, while the Strawhats hang out, he out of nowhere growls at Zoro while he bickered with Sanji. Zoro, of course, instinctively feels treathened, and a fight almost breaks out, but Luffy and Jinbe stop them. Now everbody confused and Ace is even more. He has these thoughts and urges he can't put his hands on. As the senior Alpha Jinbe suggests that Zoro goes home to cool off, they cut their hang out short, and he stays to talk to Ace. This leads Ace to tell his new experiences since he lives with Sanji.

So Jinbe finally asks the question, "Are you sure you are a human? Because a while ago you were acting like you were protecting your mate from another Alpha." And Sanji, being there the whole time, understands what older means. Ace might not be what he thinks he is. It turns out, after some investigation (as in Ace telling the name of his bio parents), he is actually a half werewolf and an Alpha none the less.

I actually planned to write a fanfiction out of this. I want it to focus on Sanji's pregnancy and Ace learning to be a werewolf as well.

Hello, it's Jim! So, I have a Acesan AU idea and I wanted to tell it ^^

The world is separated in two, the Grand Line and the New World. The Grand Line is a place full of unique creatures, mostly Demons, Angels and Sirens. While the New World has only humans, all scared from the uncommon creatures.

Ace was a prince, son of the old Demon King who had been killed from humans. He was raised with two other princes, the grandsons of the Angel King, Luffy and Sabo. The three of them were raised in a island far from everything.

In the other hand, Sanji was a prince from a cruel kingdom in the New World. Unlike his blood relatives, the boy was a kind person, but who suffer abuse from his father and brothers. The 3rd prince run away when he was 8, accidentaly going to the Grand Line.

And alone in a new island, he ends up finding the kids who named themself's ‘ASL brothers’. The two old boys knowed he was a human, even with the strange energy he have, but the kid was so scared and hurt they end up taking care of them.

The little human was happy someone was caring about him. And then, Sanji started to live with them. After some time, he end up discovering his mother was a Demon and he was the only child who had her powers.

The news surprised all of them, but quickly turned something good. Ace started to teach him how to use his powers, making them get closer and closer with the years.

They get closer to the point of, during their teenager, Ace and Sanji started to dating. Sanji discovered being trans and she get welcomed with open arms to her boyfriend and friends.

When Luffy decided to discover the sea, Sanji goes with him, finding more friends. She lives happy until her 21 years, when the blonde accidentaly crosses paths with her brothers again and is obliged to go back to Germa.

And when Ace hears about this, he is pissed. He goes to Germa with Sabo, Luffy and the StrawHats. And he fights Judge and the other Vinsmoke's, because no one hurt his girlfriend.

After all the batle, Sanji is so happy to be free from the hell her biological family is. She cries and hugs her lover, they are inseparable. And after more-or-less a Monty after this, Ace decide to ask her in marriage, and of course she says yes.

They marry after a couple of months and Sanji is more than happy to chance her name to "Portgas D. Sanji". All their friends are there.

And after some weeks, the Vinsmoke family receive a letter with a photo, saying that the 4th kid from the Germa kingdom married the son of the old Demon King.

Oh, Jim, you speak to my heart.

Sanji is a wimpy kid at first and flinches at everything. Luffy would bring beetles to show off to Ace and Sabo and Sanji would ball up and cry. It was funny at first but then they realized how sad it was. They had to take care of him! Not to mention that a human child in the grand line would become a target so easily.

At first Sanji had his doubts about training. He didn't want to be laughed at or beat up, like he used to be for being too weak. But then he saw how accepting they were and even to Luffy who was the weakest of the ASL brothers at the time.

After some time, Ace specifically started training better with Sanji because they both had powers related in one way or another to fire. With Sanji getting over his trauma of fearing men and boys his own age, he accepts the thought of liking them romantically more and more. And he also realizes that he might enjoy being taken care of and pampering himself like a girl too. Until one day he realized she's a girl. Nothing changed in their dynamic and Sanji feels so grateful for that.

They fought for her, she for them too, and she had never felt more honored to be seen...

Guy who never sleeps x Guy who cannot stop falling asleep. What a dynamic. You know, it'd be sweet if Sanji was having a rough week trying to sleep but couldn't, and Ace told him he'd be with him awake the whole night. Then Ace ends up falling asleep suddenly and for some reason Sanji finds it so endearing and it is such a relaxing and sweet thing that he manages to at least rest a bit with him <3

I was finally able to update my fic after two weeks! Since I've been sharing my sketchbook here lately I thought I'd share this too, because why not.

It's a Mamma Mia! retelling with shuggy as the main couple, with background zolu and acesan. You don't have to know or like mamma mia to enjoy this (but you should watch the movie if you haven't because it's peak cinema)

It's T rated, just some crude jokes and cursing. It's basically a romantic comedy. Give it a read if you're interested 🙏🏻
