It means so much to me, especially rn where I really needed something to make me smile during a time where I haven't had much reason to. This was the highlight of my day - no, probably my WEEK, and I'm absolutely in love with how it turned out!

BG3 Tag Game ✨

Favorite romance: Astarion. I met him in early access, thirsted after him and imagined our tragic chaotic evil romance until the full game release... after which I saw his vulnerable wet-cat face during his confession scene, instantly buckled, and gave him the softest, most loving ending I could manage. I'm not often surprised by video game characters, but Astarion's character and story are so unique and beautiful that I'm still recovering. And just look at his dumb lil face looking at Naeve, oml:

Favorite class to play: Warlock. Eldritch blast with a knockback effect is the most fun a girl can have, plus high charisma to get in or out of any trouble I want? I adore it.

Favorite NPC: Look. I'm not saying that it's healthy to get all excited whenever Raphael shows up to call me a little mouse, while still looking forward to killing him later... Moving on.

Favorite song off the soundtrack: Forging the Fate, with the Harpy Song is a close second. I love a spooky lady singing.

Tell us a little about your Tav: Well, since Naeve is teeeeeechnically a Durge, I'll go with my first ever BG3 character, Fessigan. She's based on a D&D rogue I played: an unrepentantly manipulative, power-hungry charlatan. At least she was -- until she fell in love with one of her marks (a noblewoman who saw through the roguish facade).

Since Fessigan is happily married and retired in the D&D world, I used the BG3 as an alternate universe where her wife had been killed. Fessigan blamed herself for her wife's death, so she badly regressed and was using every possible method to hurt herself -- including taking a warlock pact and letting herself be used by Astarion. Thankfully, she and Astarion slowly healed together, even if they had no intentions of doing so at the start of the game. :)

Something you wish was in the game: More dynamic companion action in camps. I love talking with everyone, but wish I could see our companions moving around camp and talking more amongst themselves, similar to Red Dead Redemption 2. Particularly in Act 3, I barely got any party banter -- it would have been nice to witness it at the Elfsong instead. Can you imagine if we'd gotten something like this instead of everyone standing next to their tent/bed?

Do you create fanworks? Share something with us: BG3 inspired me to get back into fanfiction after a 15 year gap. I've done a fair amount of original creative writing and read a ton of fanfic in the meantime, but writing fanfic is uniquely rewarding (and uniquely stressful lmao). My ao3 is here, as well as the link to my smutty Astarion character study two-shot and my post-game, unascended Astarion-finds-the-spawn multichapter fic.
