“King Abdullah II is a joke. He was “shocked” & “outraged” by the assasination of a former U.S president who is racist & islamophobic amongst other things. But as of now, he can’t be bothered to utter a word about the political assasination of Ismail Haniyeh, the Hamas leader, by Israel which massively hindered the ceasefire negotiation process. Other Muslim nations like Turkey openingly mourn the deaths and even Arab leaders like the Qatari emir attended the funeral - what’s Abdullah II’s excuse? This man is a coward and US/Zionist bootlicker.” - Submitted by Anonymous

1 November 2023: King Abdullah II met with Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha, and called on the international community to shoulder its responsibility in pushing towards an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
During a meeting held at Lusail Palace in Doha, King Abdullah warned against the expansion of the cycle of violence into the region, stressing the importance of communicating with the international community to emphasise that a military or a security solution will not succeed in resolving the Palestinian issue, and that what is needed is a political solution to reach just and comprehensive peace on the basis of the two-state solution.
At the meeting attended by Crown Prince Hussein, the two leaders stressed the need for the Palestinians to obtain their legitimate rights and establish their independent state on the 4 June 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital. (Source: Petra)
His Majesty and the Qatar emir also stressed the importance of protecting civilians and allowing the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, as well as maintaining coordination and consultation between the two countries in light of the rapid developments.
The King renewed Jordan’s rejection of attempts to forcibly displace the Palestinians in Gaza or cause their internal displacement.
His Majesty commended Qatar’s positions towards the Palestinians, as well as its efforts, under the leadership of Sheikh Tamim, to coordinate with Arab countries and other stakeholders in working to stop the war and maintain calm.
Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, General Intelligence Department Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Husni, and Jordan’s Ambassador to Qatar Zaid Lozi attended the meeting.
From the Qatari side, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Interior Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, and a number of senior officials attended the meeting.
Earlier, the King and the Crown Prince were received by Sheikh Tamim upon arrival in Doha.

- Paul Claudel
The Hôtel Lambert, on Paris’s Île Saint-Louis, has long been the city’s most glamorous townhouse, welcoming guests from Balzac to Brigitte Bardot. Its inhabitants, such as the notorious Baron de Redé, used its 17th Century Baroque interiors as the backdrop for mythical parties.
The country home, originally built in the 1640s by the French financier Jean-Baptiste Lambert and his family, had been taken over in the intervening centuries by other aristocrats, including the Marquise du Châtelet who lived there with her lover, the author Voltaire, and the exiled Polish Prince Czartoryski. In its heyday, it had hosted cultural luminaries like Coco Chanel, Delacroix, Chopin and Balzac in its gilded salons, although it had fallen into disuse by the early 20th century.
Guy and Marie-Hélène de Rothschild, members of the French banking dynasty, bought the hotel in 1975 and restored it to its former glory. In 2007, Qatar’s Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Thani picked up the keys to the house, for a reported $90 million, and further restored it, filling it with period furniture and decorations, to the tune of around $147 million.
More recently, the property was sold to French telecom billionaire and art collector, Xavier Niel, in February 2020, for a reported $226 million. He plans to turn the building into the headquarters for his private cultural foundation.
Over time, it became the home of a stunning assemblage of historic objects, from Louis XIV’s carpets to Marie-Antoinette’s carpets, which were auctioned off in a once-in-a-century sale in Paris in October 2022. Like its visitors, each piece of gilt or porcelain has its own special history.
Following a week of auctions in Oct 2022, the final hammer came down on the extraordinary collection offered from Paris’ most beautiful private residence. Over the course of six volumes and over 1,000 lots, the sales together brought around €76.6 million - marking a world record for a sale of French Decorative Arts, and for a ‘House Sale’ staged at Sotheby’s.
International collectors and French institutions came forth in large numbers to compete for pieces from a unique collection that combined the most precious examples of the decorative arts paired with an innate sense of harmony and beauty.

“While sheika moza and sheik tamim are busting their tails off trying to solve the Palestinian crisis, the JRF are doing absolutely nothing. The king and queen are hardly speaking out. They payed millions for a wedding to launch the future king and queen yet the crown prince is barely working and doing anything and the future queen is in the US enjoying fine dining and having fun with her friends. Queen rania has a lot to learn from sheika moza. I hope she tries to copy her hard work and dedication more than trying to compete with her over fashion and being jealous of her.                                 The Al Thani Collection
~ “One of the most spectacular collections in the world, it contains works of Indian art from the 16th century to the present day. The collection is adorned with beautiful pieces from the collection of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Thani, a member of the Qatari royal family. Since November 2021, as part of a long-term agreement between the Al Thani Collection Foundation and the Centre des Monuments Nationaux (CMN), highlights of the Al Thani collection are on public display in a dedicated museum space at the Hôtel de la Marine, an exhibition located on the Place de la Concorde in the heart of Paris. It is worth noting that in India, jewellery is something that suggests the rank, caste, region of birth, marital status or wealth of the wearer. So there is something to look at, since the 16th century (the Moguls) took jewellery making to the heights of craftsmanship. Needless to say, Cartier did the rest, creating dozens of outstanding pieces of jewellery art for the Maharajas of India.” ~

REGNO UNITO – Regina Elisabetta II BRUNEI – Sultano Sir Muda Hassanal Bolkiah Muizzadin Waddau OMAN – Sultano Qabus bin Said DANIMARCA – Regina Margerita II SVEZIA – Carlo XVI Gustavo SWAZILAND – Re Mswati III GIAPPONE – Imperatore Akihito LIECHTENSTEIN – Principe Giovanni Adamo II NORVEGIA – Re Harald V LESOTHO – Re Letsie III GIORDANIA – Re Abdullah II BAHRAIN – Re Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa MAROCCO – Re Mohammed VI LUSSEMBURGO – Granduca Henri CAMBOGIA – Re Norodom Sihamoni EMIRATI ARABI UNITI – Sceicco Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahya MONACO – Principe Alberto II KUWAIT – Sceicco Sabah IV al-Ahmad al-Sabah BHUTAN – Re Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk MALESIA – Sultano Muhammad V di Kelantan TONGA – Re Tupou VI OLANDA – Re Guglielmo Alessandro QATAR – Emiro Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani BELGIO – Re Filippo SPAGNA – Re Felipe VI ARABIA SAUDITA – Re Salman THAILANDIA – Re Vajiralongkorn Un esercito di supponenti reali che, come i Puffi, affermano d'avere il sangue blu. Claudio Khaled Ser
