Person B struggles to make friends. They spend most their time in the school library reading on the floor in the corner, avoiding other people. Person A has noticed them in their usual spot a few times, so one particular day, they grab a book of their own out of their locker and wordlessly sit down on the floor beside them with a small, polite smile. “Do you mind if I join you?”

“Not at all,” B shakes their head, feeling a blush begin to appear on their cheeks as they study the person in front of them for a moment. They can’t help but notice the warmth in their eyes and their heart flutters simply from looking. “Uh- do you need something?” 

“No.” A pauses to search B’s face for any sort of discomfort, scooting back a little to ensure they didn’t cause them any distress. They offer another polite smile, noticing the tint on B’s cheeks redden a little more almost instantly. “Just a friend.”

Daemon and Soulmate AUs

A fun thing about daemons in a soulmate story is that I think it could have a big effect on the shape of a daemon and it could also have precisely zero effect. It depends on what your soulmates are.

If your soulmates are literally two parts of 1 soul then maybe their daemons are identical, because the daemon is the soul or at least a piece of it. Maybe they’re identical but for some fun color reversals, or just the same animal but not exact copies.

If your soulmates are not 2 parts of 1 soul but still destined somehow, as enemies as lovers as friends or just as someone important good or bad, maybe their daemons are somehow opposites, or maybe they’re creatures that fill the same environmental niche.  Maybe the animals themselves don’t seem to have any relation, there’s just something about the way they fit together like a pair of puzzle pieces.

If your soulmates are just 2 souls going “hey, same hat!” then maybe their animals that share symbolism because if your souls are seeing something of them reflected in the other, it would be something important enough to who you are that it could be reflected in your daemon.

But also “soulmates have precisely zero effect on the fixed form of daemons” works for all of these, so there’s that.

So I’ll be honest, I may or may not of been scrounging around tumblr for the past two nights looking for writing prompt lists 🤦‍♀️ I wanted to do off the wall AU scenarios though and could only find dialogue ones really. So I’ve taken matters into my own hands and decided to spend the past hour making my own list! They aren’t very creative and are probably very basic and extremely cliche (again I made this list in the span of about an hour 😂) but ask box is open! Feel free to pick one of these scenarios by the word in color and the couple of your choosing (ShinRan, HeiZuha, KaiAo)! Again, I don’t find my list any special but if anybody wants to use this prompt list for their own, feel free to reblog and use it 😊💜

Arranged Marriage AU Prompts

1. Royalty~ Person A and Person B are both princes/princess of neighboring kingdoms. Their family’s are close so their marriage was arranged since they were born

2. Modern~ Person A’s family is in debt. Person B is the debt collector but asks for marriage instead

3. Dystopian~ In a society that chooses who your spouse is, Person A and Person B are matched as soon as they reach adulthood

4. Bought~ In a society where your wealth is everything, even your marriage. Person A buys Person B- or places the highest bid

Story Idea?

This could be an au or an original story. Either way I just think it’s a cute idea. Person A is person B’s drug dealer and somehow person B’s mom sees them together. Obviously person B panics because they don’t want their mom to know they’re buying drugs so person A grabs their hand and tells her that they’re dating. She smiles and invites them to have lunch with her. They do and Person A absolutely adores Person B’s mom like the mother they never had. Person A begins to hang around a lot more and having to pretend that they are dating Person B still. The two obviously fall for each other for real eventually.

A concept in my head that been rolling around a lot:

Hanahaki, but instead of it being triggered by unrequited love, it's triggered because all the love you have for a person turns inwards because you're too afraid to show it.

So it kills you, not because someone doesn't love you back, but because you don't let it out and all that love you have stored, that could grow into something beautiful, turns on you and turns your insides beautiful.

Love is growth, and without any place for it to grow outside, it grows in. If you confess, reciprocated or not, the disease goes away because it's no longer trapped. It gives self-destruction a new meaning.

Gareth is in charge of the Corroded Coffin official TikTok account, being the only one who actually uses social media on a daily basis.

He's playing Fuck Marry Kill with the three random celebrities generator and trying to make the other guys join as well.

When it's Eddie's turn, he's having none of it "they're just gonna get mad at me because I know no one! let me live in peace!"

Gareth insists until he shoves the phone in Eddie's face, giving him no chance to escape. The filter generates three pictures on top of Eddie's face.

"I have no fucking clue who these people-" he stops talking as his eyes focus on the last picture, it's a man around his age with voluminous hair and beautiful features. Eddie pulls the phone up close, ripping it out of Gareth's hand, to have a better look.

"you okay man?" Gareth asks, out of frame.

"Kiss, have sex with, marry, and adopt a puppy with him," he says, pointing at the guy on the screen "kill the other two."

"That's not how you play man, the fuck??" Gareth appears in frame and looks at the celebrities "you mean the third guy? are you serious?"

Eddie glares at him sideways "have you fucking seen him? he's a fucking-" but the video is cut off by the time limit.

The most liked comment under the video is by none other than famous baseball player Steve Harrington:

"I'm more of a cat type, but how about we discuss it over dinner? ;)"

Jason can clearly say that becoming a halfa was the best thing that ever happened to him.

If not for the lack of green in his head now a days than it’s because of all the new material he now has to fuck with his family.

He has successfully tricked B into thinking he can stick to things like Spider-Man instead of just turning off gravity.

Damian is now much more wary about threatening people with his sword now that Jason let him cut off a hand without telling him it would grow back.

Currently, he’s slowly gaslighting his brothers into thinking he’s pregnant.

Man, he has really been enjoying his new ability to turn invisible.

Danny: why am I here again? I’m not even adopted.

Dick: you and I both know that it’s not because B hasn’t offered in his own emotionally constipated way. Anyways we are here to discuss the elephant in the room, Tim, the board.

Damian: Grayson. Drake. this is getting ridiculous.

Tim: but it makes sense. Last week Jason started looking up pregnancy symptoms! He claimed they were so that he could help his girls out but then why did he use his personal computer for this “research”?

Dick: now this wouldn’t be concerning in of itself but the last few days Jason’s fighting style has changed.

Tim: he’s still being out “hard hitter” but his style has suddenly became more defensive and focused on blocking his center and core.

Dick: he has also been complaining about aching back and weight gain! He hasn’t drank in two weeks and I swear I saw a bump last night while changing!

Tim: the nausea, the dizzy spells! He was searching up doctors last night!

Damian: Have you buffoons forgotten the fact that Todd is in fact a cis male?

Danny: Actually he’s a halfa, so gender isn’t quite as strict on him anymore.

Dick: .. what do you mean?

Danny: well, ghost are just made of emotions..? So besides a core everything is just subjective preference? Sure he’s not full dead but there’s only like four of us so we don’t really have a lot of knowledge on the inner workings so..

I've been reading sad prompts again and need some happy:

Soulmate AU Jason/Danny

In this universe, on the youngest soulmates 18th birthday, the two people swap bodies for an amount of time. I think typically in this type of soulmate story, it's supposed to happen when they're asleep (they wake up in the other's body), but the chaos of it happening when they're awake/in the middle of something is too funny. Maybe they switch at the exact minute the youngest was born?

Anyway, imagine:

Danny is suddenly in the body of tall muscular beefcake Jason and Jason is in the body of is-this-a-child-? Danny (short twink king Danny).

1) They switch when Jason is in the middle of family dinner at Wayne Manor.

2) They switch when Red Hood is in the middle of kicking the shit outta someone.

3) They switch during Danny's daily ghost battle. (Danny was flying when they switch, so Jason immediately falls 50 ft to the ground)

4) [Angst] They switch while the Fentons are in the middle of vivisecting Danny.

5) They switch while Danny was in the Ghost Zone and Jason is very stressed about being in some sort of Lazarus realm.

6) The switch while the Batfam is in the middle of fighting Joker. Danny throws Jason's gun in the Joker's face and then just starts pummeling him. Danny does NOT like clowns and this one's clearly an asshole.

7) They switch while Jason's in the middle of making dinner and Danny does NOT know how to cook.

8) Jason is the younger and the Batfam decides to try to look as normal as possible, so they set up a birthday party for Jason. When they switch Danny has a moment of 'Oh fuck no' because his soulmate is rich.

9) Jason is younger and Danny is very concerned about how shitty his apartment is. Were those gunshots?!

List of “they’re fake dating but are crossing way too many lines to be considered fake anymore” prompts

Character A’s arm around Character B’s waist, subconsciously keeping them close; glaring at people who try to get close to Character B. 

Heart twisting uncomfortably in Character A’s chest when they see Character B’s eyes lighting up when they’re talking to someone else, so much so Character A has to tear their eyes away to calm themselves down. The reminder of fake, fake, fake repeats in Character A’s head. 

Seeking for Character B’s hand subconsciously, intertwining their fingers, palm pressed against palm; snug and warm, the feeling of never wanting to let go almost overwhelming. But this is fake be damned — for now, it’s all about the comfort. (It becomes a habit.) 

Drunken kisses. God, the drunken kisses, with Character B’s fingers in Character A’s hair and Character B perched in their lap, kissing them with no restraint; things getting heated, Character A’s hands slipping under Character B’s shirt and earning a slight shiver from them. All the while, Character A could only wish Character B would kiss them like this when they’re sober. Character A lets that thought linger until they both fall asleep in each other’s arms after kissing way too many times to count because they can’t seem to get enough of each other. 

Late night phone calls or endless text messages at two in the morning, never wanting the conversation to end. It makes Character A wonder, but they stop themselves before these thoughts spiral out of their control. 

The thoughts of wanting Character B in a way they can’t have them becomes more frequent. They know it’s only going to break them by thinking like this, but they continue to entertain the idea of it; of how it would be like to call Character B theirs, for real. (It’s unhealthy, so fucking unhealthy, but they can’t help it.) 

Kisses becoming longer; more desperate, more passionate, with no need for alcohol. It burns to have Character B kiss them like they mean it; like there’s supposed to be something there, but they push it down because this is fake. It’s fake. This is all an act. (Character A convince themselves, at least for a little while more.)

Gazing at each other like they’re in love with each other, even though the both of them know they’re not in love with each other (or maybe denial is more blissful than they realise?).

Instead of Summoning the Ghost King, they summon his Weakness

The Justice League has heard rumors of the Ghost King Pariah Dark, and coincidentally they interrupt a summoning of said Ghost King, but after subduing the cult the group discovers that the runes are different but can’t understand their meaning. With no way to stop the madman from arriving, the Bat Clan waits with dread, hoping the containment shield holds.

What they don’t know is that the previous King had been defeated and now another, much kinder, king rules: Danny Phantom. They also don’t realize the runes have changed. Summoning not the king himself but his closest ties to the mortal plane; his greatest weakness.

What the League does expect is a mad king hellbent on destruction, but what they don’t expect is a child’s corpse, blackened skin barely hanging onto the charred bones that now lies at the center of the summoning circle.

Elsewhere, a certain young halfa suddenly goes absolutely batshit, the only thought running through his head is ITS GONE ITS GONE THEY TOOK IT WHO TOOK IT WHOTOOKIT—

Danny’s family dies for some reason right, and then he gets is adopted by the Wayne’s or the Kent’s or whoever you’d like really, and when he eventually gets to Gotham he feels the sheer amount of lost spirits and immediately finds the tallest rooftop possible, and starts dancing. Full on, around a bonfire type dancing, he’s doing a specific reaper dance that the ancients taught him to ease the souls of the lost, forgotten, and damned, so they can pass on safely to the zone and whatever awaits them next. He wants to help them, wants to ease the burden Gotham holds, taking care of all these lost souls. He smiles and laughs, dances to the songs Gotham herself gives him, the hustle-bustle of the night that he adores so much. His glowing freckles brighten for every soul that passes on and no matter how many bats come and try to interrupt him, he is just very very excited to be able to help so many souls, to ease Gothams burden, to be able to satisfy his obsession for the first time in weeks, he’s just, so so happy.
