Haced todo lo que os dijere (obediencia).

Agua: Sustancia líquida sin olor, color ni sabor indispensable para la vida (Juan 4: 14 pero el que beba del agua que yo le daré no volverá a tener sed jamás, sino que dentro de él esa agua se convertirá en un manantial del que brotará vida eterna.)

Jesús purifica el templo

El atrio: patio que sirve de acceso de los gentiles. estaba lleno de mercaderes y los extranjeros tenían dificultad para adorar. (Juan 2: 16 y dijo a los que vendían palomas: Quitad de aquí esto, y no hagáis de la casa de mi Padre casa de mercado.)

A través de la muerte y resurrección de Cristo la adoración en el templo en Jerusalén fue abolida (Juan 4: 21 Jesús le dijo: Mujer, créeme, que la hora viene cuando ni en este monte ni en Jerusalén adoraréis al Padre.) y en su lugar vino a instaurarse en el corazón de quienes se convirtieron en un templo espiritual, es decir, la iglesia (Efesios 2:19-22 19 Por eso, ustedes ya no son extranjeros, ya no están fuera de su tierra, sino que ahora comparten con el pueblo santo los mismos derechos, y son miembros de la familia de Dios. 20 Ustedes son como un edificio levantado sobre los fundamentos que son los apóstoles y los profetas, y Jesucristo mismo es la piedra principal. 21 En Cristo, todo el edificio va levantándose en todas y cada una de sus partes, hasta llegar a ser, en el Señor, un templo santo. 22 En él también ustedes se unen todos entre sí para llegar a ser un templo en el cual Dios vive por medio de su Espíritu).

El motivo principal de visitar el templo es la adoración.

Jesús conoce a todos los hombres

Muchos llegaron a creer en Jesús por las señales milagrosas.

Jesús buscaba la conversión genuina en vez del entusiasmo por lo espectacular. (Juan 2: 23 Pero llega la hora, y es ahora mismo, cuando los que de veras adoran al Padre lo harán de un modo verdadero, conforme al Espíritu de Dios. Pues el Padre quiere que así lo hagan los que lo adoran).

Nuestra adoración es tan importante que debemos cuidarla con diligencia, recordando siempre que la adoración que hagamos impactará a otros positiva o negativamente; mostrando nuestros frutos o siendo piedra de tropiezo para otros, permanezcamos en su palabra, esa es la forma para ser sus discípulos no para hablar de lo que creemos o pensamos sino de lo que la palabra dice.

A house in the middle of the city.

The regulations allow the construction of a ground floor and two floors, with a considerable depth that perfectly meets the needs of the client’s program, but at the same time this very deep condition suggests that it could be a house with an interior area that is too dark and bad ventilated. The project begins with the challenge of qualifying the centre, prioritizing it and turning it into the best place in the house.

Converting the centre into a space much more connected with the outside, full of light and with the possibility of opening up and ventilating the whole house. A space in between that – although programmed and deeply architectural – lets in the natural intensity of the climate from the roof and divides the house in half, emptying it, making it more spacious and letting it breathe. A space that, due to its less domestic conditions of height, light and ventilation, manages to convey a feeling of being outside. The verticality of the central space and the zenith opening organize air and light. They make the invisible visible by sliding natural light to the bottom of the atrium while stimulating the speed of ventilation and the exit of hot air upwards to the exterior.

Doctor Who: The Armageddon Factor

I rewatched this, the last of the key to time season, on 29 March 2023. I know I’ve seen it before, but I have no memory of it. Oh, and it seems that some of it — the Drax stuff — I misremembered as being part of Underworld. Brains, hey. Weird things.

We begin with an odd clip of what looks like a commercial. No, it’s a romance set in a time of war. We are on Atrios, which is waging a terrible war against Zeon. There’s a princess, Astra, played by a fiery Lalla Ward, who is kidnapped by a mystery chap in a skull-like mask. It transpires he’s the Shadow, the rather inefficient agent of the Black Guardian employed to do the same job as the Doctor and Romana… I mean, come on, five segments to not quite one. Thinking about it, the Shadow is like a stand-in Master, only rubbish.

There are a lot of ingredients that should make for a fun tale and satisfying conclusion to the quest narrative arc… but for whatever reason, it doesn’t quite hang together.

We say farewell to Mary Tamm as Romana, and hello to Valentine Dyall as the Black Guardian.

God i know bisan cant exactly organize long term in the position shes in, but this weeklong strike is not going to happen, it literally cant. A 3 day notice is not long enough to raise a strike fund or for strikers to save pto or even just cash to help mitigate the cost for people to survive missing a week of work, not to mention those wholl lose their jobs if they just dont show up for week with no warning.

Part of the point of a strike is to use it as leverage before the strike takes place. Besides giving people time to prepare and raise a strike fund so they dont lose their homes or the ability to feed themselves during and after the strike, the point of announcing a strike months or even over a year beforehand is so that you can go to the people you want to negotiate with and say "hey, if you dont do this thing we all want, this many people are already willing and prepared to go on strike and cost you money" and make them negotiate with you so they know what is being demanded and can maybe even give it to you before the strike has taken place. The best outcome for a strike is for it to get results before it happens!

People have not prepared for this strike, no one has informed the people we are protesting against about the strike or its demands, theres nothing in place to help the people that will lose their jobs if they participate, which means most people simply are not GOING to participate. Thats not an organized strike. Thats just a bunch of random people whove happened to abandon their jobs at the same time. Thats not going to pressure anyone into doing anything.

If people really think a strike is the way to go, then someome in a better position than bisan needs to actually put in the work to organize one. Actually go around and contact unions and get them in on organizing one. Because change IS possible, but you wont get it by taking random swings at the machine and hoping your hand doesnt get caught in it.
