I think if you asked Brynjolf his favorite color he'd try to laugh it off. He'd smirk and lean over the desk, one finger curling under your chin to ensure he's the sole thing you're focused on. "The color of your eyes, of course." He'd chuckle, voice velvety and smooth. If you swatted at his hand and insisted for an honest answer, he'd heave a dramatic sigh before making a show of contemplating it. "Honest truth?" His head would tilt, sending a strand of red hair over his cheek. "It's got to be gold, love. Preferably snagged from some lordling's pocket."

"Blood." Cicero would grin if you asked him, eyes narrowing in on yours. "Deep and dark when it spills, or the pretty pink in my Listener's cheeks!" One gloved hand would pinch at your face, his voice shrill and gleeful. "Why do you ask Cicero such a question? Are you scheming to get poor Cicero a new outfit? Oh Listener, you're too sweet to your Keeper! Always so thoughtful, you are." He'd probably rattle off a few more poetic examples of how pretty red can be, though he'd sneer at the garish shade adopted by the Imperial Army.

Farkas would contemplate it for quite a while, eyes cast far out over the plains surrounding his home. Tilting his head closer to yours and flashing a hint of that dazzling smile, he'd finally answer. "Green." His voice would be hushed, as if he didn't dare to disturb the nature sprawling out at your feet. "Dark, like those trees." Following his finger, you'd see the expanse of coniferous trees covering the hillside. With fallen needles pooling around their trunks the shades melted together into one soft mix of green, one that felt welcoming and safe. If you pressed him for a reason, his smile would soften before he spoke again. "No matter how far away I get, once I see that color I know I'm almost home."

"I don't have one." Vilkas would grumble without turning to face you. His muscles would keep flexing, sword continuing over the grindstone. His brows would tighten, muscles in his jaw feathering as he tried to work through why you'd ask him such a silly thing. Unfortunately for him, he's all bark and no bite. It would be fairly easy to pick up on his preference - the way he drifted toward deep indigo dyes when repairing his armor, the various shades of blue bedding he'd collected over the years, even the faded navy socks you frequently caught him wearing around Jorrvaskr. You would probably have to point out that he does, in fact, have a favorite color.

ok so i know i've literally never posted abt sanders sides before on this blog (i haven't been keeping up for a few years) but i've been tumbling down a waterslide lined with my old hyperfixations for the last few hours and ended up creating D&D au character designs for the core four sides using heroforge. images and descriptions under the cut if you're interested ❤ bonus points if you can guess what classes they are (this is EXTREMELY self-indulgent so pls forgive the ranting abt them, they're very important to me ok)

First up we have Roman! my beloved. one of my first questions when starting his design was how can i make him look as cunty as possible? the answer: heeled boots and winged eyeliner (It's a little tricky to see but he's got gold metallic eyeliner). I ADORE Roman's colour pallet so i kept it as close to accurate as i could, making white the base colour and accentuating it with the gold armor and the dramatic red shoulder cape as my stand-in for his sash. he's wielding a katana OF COURSE how could he not be. he's slaying ⚔ 🐉 and slaying 💅💋

moving on:

Patton. my baby, my honey, my ragtime gal. i decided to make his hair a little longer than roman's bc i thought it made him look softer and more approachable. it was UNBELIEVABLY hard to find something that sort of replaced his cardigan without looking too chunky but i did like this kind of loose tattered mantle, so i went with that. kept the sky blue shirt and gray cardigan/shawl, but gave him more greyish blue pants so they didn't blend into the shirt too much. glasses are round instead of square bc again i thought they made him look friendlier than the square ones. freckles bc i personally think freckles are very cute and patton is very cute so he got freckles. no shoes he's travelling the realms like the gods intended. the dad vibes are strong i want him to give me a hug 🥺

next up:

logan is quite possibly my favourite side so i really wanted to get his design right. the MOST important thing was giving him his iconic necktie, which ended up being pretty much the same color as his canon design. i couldn't give the tie specifically a pattern, so i made his vest stripy like his tie is in the show and i think it looks really good. his glasses are the more classic nerd ones which is perfect for him and i gave him black eyeliner bc i thought it made him look more serious. i added the coat for more of a d&d look (it doesn't make sense to traverse planes wearing a vest and tie) i think it gives him an extra bit of style that i love.

and last but not least:

the Anxious BoiTM himself (i've only had him for five minutes seven years but if anything happened to him etc etc). virgil's was one of the easiest designs aesthetically and hardest mechanically (you'll never guess what class he is guys i took some BIG swings). I knew i wanted him in black and purple (obviously) and i knew i wanted to give him the iconic purple hair dye and eyeshadow. i almost said screw the genre and put him in a zippered hoodie but i do think that a cloak and cowl would suit him very well (good for hiding in) and i found a combo that looked equally cosy and spooky. a bow is good for attacking long range and keeping out of danger (appropriate for anxiety, i thought) and the mask looks intimidating but actually helps him with sensory overload (with the cowl and mask on he's basically in a mini sensory deprivation bubble). an eyebrow ring bc he's edgy idk why honestly i thought it looked cool.

So that's basically it! As i said before if you can guess their respective classes i'll give you a cookie (🍪). since i can't draw, heroforge is usually my go-to for character creation and i have to recommend it (i think i talk abt this site a lot but 🤷‍♀️) it's so helpful for non-artist types like myself.

Agent Kaikaina Grif (Flipflop AU)

Bursting at the seems with energy and well versed in all things armor tech, it's Agent Kaikaina Grif! Though rarely used, her codename is K.K.

Third Charlie Agent, and light of my life. She was definitely more fun because with how little screen time she gets in the show, I can effectively make her anything I need her to be for dynamic purposes. And thus, suit tech Kai was born! Also, I am using her to push my DocNutKai agenda.

Was recruited about a month after Dexter because of their siblinghood. Dex often says it's the one good thing The Director has ever done for him, but then again, he says that about anything good.

In a poly relationship with Donut and Doc! While at first it was just a group of close friends, they all collectively decided 'why not' and got together.

In her earlier days as an Agent, she was in a situationship with Tucker, though they've both since agreed to just stay friends.

She is the mastermind behind the agents' ridiculously well tailored armor. Originally, the process of fitting an agent into their specialized suits took over a month. Now, Kai has managed to cut that time down to a week.

She is also the main mechanic. While Team Bravo has their own machine-savvy agents that make sure Lopez stays in peak condition, many of the larger repairs go through Kai. She was closely involved in the creation of 2.0 aswell.

She doubles as Doc's security guard, throwing out unwanted guests or unruly patients that have outstayed their welcome.

She listens to everything. No joke, her playlist has songs from Nirvana right next to Babymetal right next to Tchaikovsky. Literal whiplash.

Little to no inside voice.

When she laughs, it always has a physical aspect. Like slapping a friends shoulder or shaking them from their arm or doubling over. Doc and Donut think it's adorable.

Strong. Very strong. Has, in the past, picked up Lopez and carted him back to her workshop for repairs. No one dared cross her the following week.

She enjoys hugging people. She'll greet you with a hug, say goodbye with a hug, hell she'll even embrace you for seemingly no reason if she felt like it.

Kai teases Grif about his crush on Simmons a lot. One year on Valentines Day, she managed to lock the two in a storage closet for several hours.

Smells of motor oil, metal and sweat

Organized Karaoke Night, which happens monthly. She also has dedicated herself to securing as many games as possible for Game Night.

She's always snacking on something. Be it a small baggy of chips that never seems to end, or a sandwich she threw together while rushing to her workshop for emergency repairs.

She dyes her hair a lot with Donut's help, never keeping the same color for more than 2 weeks.

That girl can tear it up on the dance floor.

Where is she from?

Cordhelia Aquilae is a Star Elf, born in the Yuirwood, to Cassius Aquilae, the General of her tribe. Her mother passed shortly after her birth, so Cordehlia was raised by her father, who taught her all he knew about fighting and military strategy. He doted on her, letting her play with all the other elflings of their tribe including Astarion, the son of their tribe’s High Lord. He eventually became her best playmate, her childhood sweetheart, and eventually betrothed lover. The rest of their story is in the fic 😉😉

What is her favorite color and why?

Violet, a deep blue purple—the color of Astarion’s eyes before he was turned.

Is there a particular nightmare that haunts her?

For centuries, Cordehlia suffered. After losing her betrothed in Baldur’s Gate, Cordehlia threw herself into serving her father in his army. After his death fighting Ketheric Thorm at Moonrise Towers, she dove deep into her darker tendencies. She became Lady Corvus, a warrior for her people and a mercenary for hire. After one particularly gruesome battle, where every enemy was left on the field for the birds to pick clean, she became known as the dreaded Bone Picker. Only after centuries of blood and victory was she forced into retirement by her people, living in isolation in the wilds nearer Baldur’s Gate, where she was when the Nautiloid picked her up.

Her dreams are often filled with the sights and sounds of battle.

What is her most prized possession?

She is never without her dagger, designed to look like the plumage of a Raven, her namesake as the Lady Corvus. However, she would never admit it out loud, but her favorite thing she technically doesn’t own is Astarion’s camp shirt which she loves to borrow and wear around the Crimson Palace.

Describe her ideal day:

She has two.

After becoming Astarion’s Consort after his ascension, his little Raven, Cordehlia loves the days where she’s busy as a sort of vigilante. The Netherbrain may be gone, but it takes time to dismantle the cults of Bhaal, Bane, and Myrkul. Where Lord Astarion spends his days using his nepo baby, princely charm in politics, Cordehlia lurks in the shadows to remove the remnants of their enemies and any potential obstacles that present themselves. Being a Vampire Bride has only made her that much more bloodthirsty (pun intended).

Lately, she’s been feeling nostalgic, longing for the days where she spent hours with her beloved in the forests of the Yuirwood. Sometimes, she would love nothing more than to lie on a blanket under the shade of those same trees, doing nothing but picnicking, resting and fucking.

Some more Voorpret lore art. (I may or may not have started tearing up drawing this) This scene takes place during V batches first assignment/mission when separatist forces attacked the base and caused a large explosion. Voorpret, Vance, Voss, Vapor, and Vaheed were all caught in the direct explosion, along with a few other brothers. Voorpret, Vance, and Voss were the only three to survive the incident. Lil snippet from the fic(WIP so excuse my grammar):

Voorpret climbed into his bunk, yawing heavily from the long days worth of lessons and training. It was lights out in his sector, all of the younger cadets were expected to have plenty of sleep in order to mature properly. Like anyone cared. Out of nowhere Vapor climbed up into Voorpret’s bunk settling down in front of him.

“Hey V! How are you going to stand out?” The young clone asked, grinning at his batchmate prodding him in the chest lightly.

Voorpret looked at him for a moment, blinking at his younger brother in confusion. Realizing he was inquiring about his appearance, he answered quietly.

“Tattoo’s maybe,” Voorpret shrugged, unsure of his response, “I haven’t really thought about it much. How about you vod’ika?”  Vapor’s eyes lit up, and his grin widened if possible.

“I was thinking of dyeing my hair and having some cool tattoos on my face!” Vapor said, running his small hands through his hair. 

Voorpret giggled. 

“That sounds like an awesome idea vod’ika.” 

“V!” Vapor whined, “you know I hate it when you call me that.” He huffed.

Voorpret chucked.

“You’ll always be vod’ika to me.”

Voorpret blinked.

His ears were still ringing, he faintly heard the alarms blaring. He sat up onto his elbows wincing, putting pressure onto his lacerated abdomen. Whipping blood from his eyes he looked around, coughing from all of the smoke and fire. A few yards away Voorpret was able to make out the body of one of his brothers. Tears began welling in his eyes. He tried to stand but his leg was of no use to him, he had broken it in the explosion and his blood was visible on his white plastoid armor. He drug himself over to his brother collapsing onto him coughing again. It was his beloved vod’ika. His kind hearted, gentle, caring vod’ika. Voorpret let out a broken sob, frantically grasping at the limp form of his brother.

“Vapor!” He sat up best he could, pulling his brother into his lap cradling him, “Vod’ika please wake up.” He removed Vapor’s helmet and shook him lightly.

Voorpret’s tears finally flowed down his face combining with his blood as he held Vapor’s bloodied body in his arms. His handsome face was bruised and bloodied, his purple hair caked with blood. Voorpret assessed his little brother wounds, putting pressure on his abdomen where the largest gash lay.

Even as Vapor died, he grinned at his brother, his caramel colored eyes crinkling at the corners. He studied his brother's face, chuckling a bit which turned into a coughing fit. Blood trickled from his mouth and down his chin.

“Looks like you’re finally going to stand out V.” He said, motioning towards Voorpret’s wounds.

Vapor choked up blood, his body slowly going still.

“Hey now-“ Voorpret sobbed, shaking his brother. “Please no. NO! Don’t leave me like this vod’ika. PLEASE!” He pleaded with his brother.

Even in death his grin remained on his face. Voorpret sat there hugging his brother’s motionless form tightly to him, cradling his head against his shoulder. His lavender colored hair contrasted with his tan and bloodied hands. This was his first brother he’d lost, his best friend. They were going to fight alongside each other and win the war together. Now that dream was lost. He knew this war would take sacrifice, but it was much too soon for this. Much too soon.

“Over here!” A voice called from within the smoke.

Voorpret hugged his brother tightly to him as they approached, not wanting to let him go. He was grabbed quite forcefully by the shoulder yanking him away from Vapor.

“NO DON’T TAKE HIM PLEASE NO!” Voorpret screamed at them. 

He looked wild as he tried to fight them off, but he was too overpowered. He was ripped away from his brother, tears still streaming down his face. It stung, but he paid no mind, they were taking his little brother. 

“Stun him now!” One of the officers said to one of the troopers accompanying him.

in my game i always dye astarion’s armor “lush burgundy” which, in his current armor, decks him head to toe in the shiniest, most intricate gold you’ve ever seen. i love the idea that his former master dressed him in rags, but now…now he has a beloved partner, an equal, that showers him in gold to make up for all the years he wasn’t treated like the lovely, precious, thing he is.

a few thoughts on the new ahsoka show

i'm unsure about my feelings on the backstory we didn't get to see with sabine and ahsoka. their interactions all felt reasonably in character, but there's just. so many holes. why did searching for ezra become jedi training? why did ahsoka decide to stop it? did sabine decide to put away her armor before or after that? how'd she end up just being depressed in ezra's tower?

if the rest of the show does a good job with these questions and making it seem like the story we're seeing IS better than that story and makes sense with it just in the rear view, i will be satisfied. but those are a lot of ifs, you know?

i really liked sabine's casting and feel like they did a great job with chopper. hera's pretty good and they did a good job with her makeup, and her go-betweening with sabine and ahsoka was well-done. we didn't see a lot of ezra but i did like his actor

i don't know what we're doing with the sith master and padawan or why. it could very well end up working out, but i just. don't know yet? other than her and sabine's homoerotic duel. that was hot

the morgan character is... interesting? i guess? seeing nightsister costuming in live action was cool and there could be something good going on here, but again, it's too early to tell how well it's going to work in context.

i'm on the fence about jedi! sabine, but i'm a lot more onboard with it when it's presented as "sabine is not good at this". i'm not sure WHY they're going this direction or if it will ultimately work, but i'm going to give it a chance.

The dyeing in blood of the garments is forbidden. This is discussed in the Book of Mormon, where the Spirit of God says "I did not wish my garments to be stained with thy blood."

The above verses, with all the splattering of blood, scalpings, armor, and carousing, is just about what it takes for the wise to rid the world if the ignorance that claims bloodshed is the path to peace, happiness and salvation. All the wars, killing, violence, minting of weapons and corruption in the churches and states has to be rooted out. There must be proof of a just God on earth as there is in Heaven:

hello baldurs gate 3 community again: This time im talking about modding!

hello adventurers and shifty-eyed people, I bring to you some important stuff. Mod compilations! Below the cut, if you are interested, I have compiled a few things for what I think the bg3 tumblr modding community wants (based on me being in the tag for a month straight). Things I have compiled include: - Super basic install of baldur's gate 3 mod manager (and a bit of vortex) (9 Easy Steps!) - My OWN special "Computer helper" mod bundle with super easy installations (helps it run on my piece of crap laptop who hates me so much but I love her <3) - Companion and player mods (visuals only, and like de-ab-ing and stuff, I'm not going around adding all the extra eye colour mods) INCLUDING TRANS TOP SCARS AND DADBOD MODS + MORE - Some personal favourite mods that really helped enhance my experience. HOW TO GET THE MOD LOADER FOR BG3 IN 3 EASY STEPS

go to the github download page and scroll down until you see the first downloadable file that reads "BG3ModManager_Lastest.zip"

extract the file into an accessible area (your downloads folder should work fine, I just put it on my desktop) (just anything that won't require you to give admin permissions to download it. I would also keep this off Local Disc (C:) for convenience) You can use any free extractor program, 7zip works, i used to use Peazip and now I use Breezip and that works well.

Tada! You should have an open folder in your extracted location. 2 things may happen here: You will get the extracted folder with the other documents inside. Congrats, you're done! If you have an extracted folder with ONLY the .exe file in it, go back into the zip file and drag the other files into the folder. This should fix the problem, all files from the zip need to be there to work.

(OPTIONAL) you CAN use Vortex mod manager to manage your bg3 mods on there, in which case any nexusmods mod will have a direct download button for you. Personally I have my subnautica mods loaded from there so bg3 is unavailable.

HOW TO MOD BALDURS GATE 6 IN EASY STEPS + SCRIPT EXTENDER

Make sure you have Baldur's Gate 3 Installed. I have it on steam, I don't know how to help with EA, sorry.

open your file explorer/documents. Go to Admin -> AppData -> Local -> Larian Studios* -> Baldur's Gate 3 (leave launcher alone). Create a mods folder if you don't already have one, but one should have been created on your first bootup. DO NOT CLOSE THIS TAB. THIS TAB STAYS OPEN UNTIL YOU ARE DONE MODDING. * I also just search Larian Studios in Local Disc (C:) but that does take some time to load

Congrats, you're ready to mod! Now, most good mods will need something called the Baldur's Gate 3 Script Extender. You can find the download page here, and this time you're going to hit the green "code" button. Ignore everything else. Hit download zip

Extract the file again, but this time into Local Disc (C:) -> Program Files (86x) -> Steam -> Steamapps -> common -> Baldur's Gate 3 -> bin* ** * MAKE SURE to extract it to the bin folder. Some other mesh and texture mods use the data bin, so confusing them is bad. ** you CAN directly extract the folder to the bin, but I personally find it easier to extract the zip back into downloads, then open my other file explorer and click and drag the whole extracted file into the bin folder

The fun part begins! Go find some mods you like (nexusmods mostly, gamebanana MAY have some). Extract folder to your mods folder in larian studios -> baldur's gate 3 -> mods. ONLY DRAG THE .PCK FILE. YOU DO NOT NEED ANY OTHER FILES UNLESS THE MOD MAKER SAYS SO.

USING THE MOD LOADER: you are done with file explorers! Go ahead and boot up the bg3modmanager.exe file from earlier. Any INACTIVE MODS must be CLICKED AND DRAGGED over to the ACTIVE MODS side. If you don't see any mods, hit the blue circle refresh button. After that, hit the "export order to game" button right beside "export". If you see a green popup at the bottom, you are good to go!

All done! You are now on your modding journey! (if you have any outlying problems, my dms are open and there is a whole host of modders out there with answers!)

NOW TO THE FUN PART: MOD PACKS!
