based on this and in retrospect its kind of a weird thing to do. why not just make a psycho gm? but the art gave me the idea of a more plausible unit, a custom painted gigantic arms unit with a customized gm core.

The barzam 2. Trans beyond gender.

It’s pretty standard AoZ reboot stuff. Lotta spare parts and a bit of stickers/painting. It’s also a bit right-side heavy, so it can lean a bit unless you counterbalance it with something like taking the grenade launcher off and wielding it on its own.

I still have no clue how the head transforms into the form it does but it looks cool so I’m not questioning it. I do have one genuine concern/nitpick. The connection from the waist to the torso is a single peg and ball joint without much else to support that weight, kinda like the IBO gundam HGs. It’s also a bit finicky to actually pose, but there’s a lot of bits everywhere that make torso articulation weird anyways.

Oh! They also separately molded the crotch V so good for bandai everybody clap.

Here's a sweet story:

One day, a playful dog named Max discovered a knotty ball of yarn in his owner's craft room. As soon as he picked it up, he was hooked! Max carried the knotty yarn everywhere, whining and pawing at anyone who tried to take it away.

His owner, Sarah, laughed at Max's new obsession. "You're so silly, Max!" she exclaimed. "That old yarn is just a knotty mess!" But Max didn't care. He loved his knotty treasure.

As the days went by, Max grew more and more attached to the yarn. He'd curl up with it at night, his tail wagging softly as he drifted off to sleep. Sarah would smile, watching her beloved dog snuggle up with his precious knotty ball.

One evening, as Sarah was working on a new knitting project, Max trotted over to her, yarn in mouth, and dropped it at her feet. Sarah picked it up, examining the tangled mess. "Max, you silly dog," she whispered, "I think it's time we turned this knotty yarn into something special."

Together, Sarah and Max created a beautiful, cozy blanket. As they worked, Max would occasionally pick up the yarn and run around the room, whining excitedly. Sarah laughed, knowing that Max was happy to see his beloved knotty yarn transformed into something new.

When the blanket was finished, Sarah wrapped it around Max, who snuggled up close, his tail wagging contentedly. From that day on, Max and his knotty yarn blanket were inseparable. And Sarah smiled, knowing that sometimes, even the knottiest of treasures can become the most precious of friends.

1st test print, sizing is pretty good, especially because I didn't measure anything from the Bandai parts. Just a bit more tweaking and detailing now.

Last picture is with a 1/100 scale printed part and the CuteCube kit, looks pretty good.

My model turned out a bit beefier than the Bandai parts, I'm okay with that.

Happy new year, here's a lucky rabbit.

This is completely "unfinished" as it's going to be part of my AOZ April build in a few months, but I wanted to have a rabbit for luck on New Year's Day.

A little bun with a big gun (This kit is easily the smallest gunpla I have, but it's weapon is bigger than even some of my MG kits)

My attempt at an Advance of Zeta primer chart! At a glance it’s super intimidating to track all of the suits it presents, and the charts I’ve seen floating around get really complicated, so I tried to make a simplified guide.

The main goal was to find the AoZ MS that have a direct link between anime MS (thank you Gundam Wiki!) and have those be the representative samples. Once you learn all AoZ designs have some relationship to one or more of a TR series design it gets a lot easier to check what variants exist. The only reason I have a variant on here (the Hazel Custom + Icarus Unit) is because it’s a direct predecessor to the Byarlant. I hope this makes it easier for folks to digest some Advance of Zeta designs, because they really are cool to look at, but they can be heard to research!

On impulse I started a project attempting to make an SD Gundam Woundwort in scale with some SDs from a DS G generations game. I failed in that goal mostly because this is pretty much half the size of the rest of them but I'm happier with the end result of an insanely tiny articulated Woundwort SD. The figure has 13 parts, 11 joints, 20mm in height, was printed on a Mars 2 Pro in Siraya tech Fast Mecha resin and took me a day to get it this far along. It's currently unfinished as it needs the rest of the head and crotch to be complete but I'm very pleased with the current state of it, It's a rare thing for me to show a 3D printed project these days. The joint design is all pulled from a 1/144 Optimus Prime I have in my backlog making this a very very technical Transformers retool, as well as using universal balljoints and sockets on every joint except for the elbows. I intend to make other SDs following this design style and scale for maximum kitbashing fun!

and my resource told me they changed the game.. no prince RunninGunnin kiss scene in the new aoz and they changed some scenes to match with the JJ series like mentioning queen v
