This is like less of a bizarre one but just more of a random one that I have no explanation for, but I like to think that Agnes actually loves the ocean.

Any body of water, really. But she specifically has a fondness for the ocean. It confuses the hell out of all the Lightless Flame cult member, like come on, she's the messiah of The Desolation, she was born in fire, hell she HAS fire in her.

But I like to think it kind of calms her. She couldn't explain why, maybe it has to do with it being the opposite element to what she was made from. But when she was alive, she'd randomly disappear from where the cult thought she was and maybe a week later, she'd return and say, "Oh, I was just out on the water." And that was it. No other explanation.

This also brought her into the company of Simon Fairchild, who happened to see her waiting on a dock for a ship. As they get to talking, it's clear they share a similar fondness for the ocean, and this actually endears Simon to her. He even gives her one of his yachts so that she can go on ocean trips whenever she wanted.

When she died, he was actually quite sad. He actually ended up naming one of his ships after her, Agnes. He considered naming it The Messiah, but knowing Agnes, it would do her a disservice, when all she wanted was to be able to choose her life that simply become what she was fated for.

(For a more bizarre one, I think that Helen Distortion talks about The Backrooms like they actually exist and everyone is genuinely starting to think that The Backrooms is a genuine space of The Spiral (though Simon complains it should be The Vast).

Jon absolutely knows The Backrooms don't exist but he also thinks it's REALLY funny to watch people go, "She's lying...Right?? I mean The Backrooms can't actually exist, right???" And Jon just gives them like an annoying smile and is like "I don't know, you'll have to find out yourself."

So first off her has obviously done vore before. It’s weird and chaotic and he’s the one in control during it so duh. he is a pred and would never be seen as prey ( except for one down bad stupid little scientist)

first off and foremost is that bill has canonically eaten entire planets and civilizations.

in the book of bill there is a message that the people he has eaten are stored?? in his conscious or something and he drowns them out using music.

I'm honestly thinking he's capable of reforming (especially during weirdmageddon), but why would he do that when he can just move onto the next person.

He delights in the torture aspect of vore

trapping someone within himself, able to mess with them as he pleases, and they cant do anything against him in that position

I like to believe that he has eaten some of his friends here and there and just reforms them once he remembers what happened.

I actually really like your interpretation of that line about his ex wife !! I left it pretty open so people can hc whatever they want :3c In my personal hc, he really did love her immensely, but he kept hurting her unintentionally by never being around, never giving her what she needed because of his work, etc. ​Just one of those "it wasn't meant to be" relationships. (Also, other random hc, but Nik was here at Price's wedding, he got along really well with his ex wife, but everything about it broke his fucking heart over and over again. Oops 💔)

And I'm so glad you pointed out the banters during the smut scene !! It's my favorite thing to do honestly !! To me, sex scenes don't have to be so serious all the time, I like when characters communicate while it's happening, I like when they're laughing together <3 And these two have so much shared history that it just makes sense to me !!
