Today had no spiders so you would assume that went better for me than yesterday but not quite. My computer antics today included playing a day and a half of a sim family and renovating a house to look like a therapy clinic. Boy did I have glitches. I'm talking TOOL not letting me toggle active object on some sims, only four students spawning at prom and a confident sim not being able to select a swim option as they were greyed out because said sim was too uncomfortable. Said sim didn't even have any negative moodlets. I removed the most recent script mod and it seemed to settle but that means bye bye to the cute blush when flirty.

Now onto non virtual life. I bet you didn't know that a very small proportion of people cannot produce proper antibodies for Chicken Pox meaning they'll get it more than once. I am people, I've had it five times, none as bad as the first time but still clearly Chicken Pox. This morning I seem to have once again developed, as I like to non affectionately call it, the plague. The lumps are coming up and it explains my loss of appetite the past few days.

Since this issue is rare there is not a lot of science around it. The length of time I have the virus varies, as does the severity, so I'm not too sure how much it'll affect me. This one time I got them all over my palms and therefore couldn't use my hands properly. SBL is queued through the month but Rotations and Growing with Glenn each only have one more post set up so there will likely be a gap. Just a heads up in case they stop suddenly it's not because I've fallen out of love with my characters. It's because being itchy is tiring.

a dude saw us wearing masks while exiting a store and i think he was so relieved to find other ppl who still wore masks in our town that he talked to us for like ten minutes about vaccines. and it’s like dude we know u don’t have to convince us if there’s a vaccine for something im taking it lol

Some shingles information, since I’m doing research into it

If you got a shingles vaccine before 2017, there is a newer one and it’s recommended in addition to a past vaccine. For “50 and older” but also for “19 years of age and older who have weakened immune systems.” It’s also worthwhile to get it even if you never had chicken pox and/or got the chicken pox vaccine!

0.12% to 0.34% of younger adults get shingles yearly. As an example, in population of 10,000 people, there will be about 12-34 cases every year.

About 1/3 people will get shingles in their life, and the vaccine prevents most people from getting shingles, and prevents virtually all severe cases.

So!!! Next time you’re at a doctor office or pharmacy, I encourage you to ask about it! Even if you don’t want it, you might be able to share what you learn with someone who does want it, and you could help someone get vaccinated before they experience shingles 💜

How funny, the last 2 times my family has been sick was because of something my little cousin brought from school and we all got sick from him....

If I got a penny everytime I finished binging Never Have I Ever season in one sitting while I was sick and in a quarantine, I'd get 2 pennies which is not much, but it's weird that it happened twice.

And it's always the season that have Gigi Hadid narrated an eps. At least, this one didn't give a shock ending that I needed to find closure in ao3. This season gave me so much serotonin, bittersweet happiness, a closure, and shedding my tears twice.

I'm just so proud of Devi' growth through all the seasons. My favorite chaotic little indian bossgirl. I'll miss you, Nerd(s)!
