simon fairchild vs mike crew is so so so funny

we have a very even surface to compare them on both being vast avatars, but theyre literally polar opposites besides that one deciding factor.

mike crew 1) literally killed people and was an angry ass bitch BEFORE any dread-power got involved 2) stood around ominously staring at his possible victims 3) was really only polite to jon because he wanted the whole thing to be over with and would most likely have just killed him if he wasnt a whole ass archivist and a sopping wet little cat

simon fairchild 1) has only even been nasty to anyone in the most polite way possible or because he was gonna fucking eat them 2) we dont have a proper backstory for him beyond vague implications from gerry that he was a body snatcher???? 3) hes literally just having a good fucking time being a mystic bitch and using metaphors and shit as far as we know just because elias fucking hates it 4) he just fucking hangs out with ppl hes about to basically eat and just chills and has a good time which is fucking hilarious

in conclusion i love both of them so much and i really need more fics where they meet and mike just stares at simon like 'holy shit what the fuck shut up oh my god i hope the buried find you you cheerful bastard' and simon is being so polite and nice and smiling
