I would've married you if you'd stuck around🐙
sorta s4 spoilers? but nobody takes the Marigold and lived their life.
plus I'm changing things because... yeah.
I walk into the birthday party for little Grace, who is one of Diego and Lila's children with her birthday present in my hand. It's just a silly child's keyboard because what the fuck do you get a six year old?
I make my way through the swarm of running and screaming children, the part of me that never grew up hurting because that's the childhood I always wished to have, yknow, running about, screaming my head off with all my friends but no, at the age of six I was learning how to disarm gunmen and learning how to control my powers.
God my life has gotten so much better without them.
Once I'm out the swarm of children, my eyes instantly fall on Sloane, Luther, and Ben, and I feel a slight shiver go down my spine at the sight of ben, I mean it's weird to think he has the face of the boy I used to love when we were like thirteen, but he's not the boy I love, I think anyway, I mean okay I sorta have feelings for this Ben, but I don't want him to think it's because he has the face of my old Ben, its confusing isn't it?
"y/n hi!" Sloane exclaims, waving me over with her hands, and I put on a wide smile as I make my way over to her, setting my present for Grace on the table beside her before she wraps me into a tight hug, which I return with an awkward laugh.
"I heard you're a firefighter now? that's sick." I say, turning to Luther with a smile and he just nods.
"we brought the Umbrella Academy, we're currently renovating it, I'd love for you to come stay some time." He tells me, and I widen my eyes, pretending to be interested as I make small 'oo' noises.
I hate when our family gather together, I mean Luther is married with a child, Diego is married with kids, I don't know what the fuck is going on with Allison, weve hardly spoken since we got to this time line and its not exactly that i dont want to talk to her, i just dont know what id say, Klaus doesn't need love, Five is technically married to a piece of plastic, Ben's just out of prison, Viktor has basically dated every girl in his town and I'm just.. there, I end up feeling extremely left out at the family gatherings when they start talking about issues with their kids or relationship problems because the only relationship problem was the fact Ben died on me.
"How was prison?" I ask ben, my eyes lighting up slightly as I turn to face him, all my attention now on him.
"I can't exactly say I enjoyed it." He tells me, raising a bottle of beer to his lips and taking a sip, and I just know his parole officer is gonna be pissed so I just let out a quiet laugh.
"So where are you staying then? I can't imagine your parole officer would let you live far." I then go onto ask, and he groans slightly, pointing at Luther and Sloane who are now talking to Diego.
"but I'm seriously debating robbing a bank just to get thrown back in." He then adds, looking around and I can't help but laugh a little louder.
"You're staying with them?" I scoff, turning to look at him with raised eyebrows.
"hardly by choice, I just needed a permanent address." He sighs, and I laugh again.
"Fresh out prison, and you're gonna be turned into a painter, electrician, plumber and babysitter. good luck." I tell him and he lets out a small chuckle before taking another drink from his beer.
"How have you been then?" Ben asks, and I shrug slightly.
"I mean, yeah, I've been.. living." I answer with a laugh, and he nods in agreement.
"Why don't we go get you a drink, we can sit at a table at the very back, and you can let it all out." He offers and I rapidly nod.
I sit at the table with Ben, taking a small sip from my beer before clearing my throat.
"I'm a child psychologist now." I tell him, and he nods slightly.
"I mean, it just felt right, yknow? I want to help kids so they don't end up with a childhood that we had. Well, I mean, without the powers, the robotic mom, the alien dad, you get what I mean." I tell him with a small wave of my hand, and he continues to nod, a small smile on his face.
"I get it." He tells me, and we both fall into a comfortable silence before he breaks it right as I take a mouthful of beer.
"don't you miss your powers?"
that question almost makes me spit my beer everywhere, my eyes widening as I stare at him.
"God, no, I don't miss them in this time line Nobody knows who I am, nobody takes a double take or gawks at me waiting to see my powers in use, I can be whatever I want to be in this timeline and I plan on using that to my hearts content." I tell him, and he just looks at me.
"You don't miss them? not even a little bit?" He asks, and I shake my head, which causes him to shrug slightly.
"I miss my powers, I feel.. ordinary without them." He tells me, and I furrow my eyebrows slightly.
"No offence, but I'm glad you don't have your powers. You died because of them in my original timeline, and it's good to see what my ben would've looked like grown up." I tell him, and he gives me a sad smile before we fall quiet yet again.
"and i think it's good to feel ordinary, I spent my whole childhood wanting to be normal to fit in, and now I do." I then add, and he scoffs.
"There's nothing ordinary about us y/n. Apart from the Umbrella Academy and the Sparrow Academy, nobody in the world has gone through even a fraction of what we have, and you've technically went through more than me because the Umbrellas ended the world in 2019, just to then go and do it again back in the 60s, to come back for it to end in 2019 again.." Ben says, and I just scoff, but I can't help but laugh and nod.
"and both times was technically Viktors fault." I argue, and we both smile before Five appears from under a slide somewhere and nods, a bottle of beer in his hand.
"it was Viktors fault both times. Actually, she's not making that up." He tells ben as he makes his way over to our table, dragging a chair along behind him, and ben just raised his eyebrows slightly, clearly pissed off our conversation had been distributed by Five, who still looks like a kid.
"Well, isn't this just a sad table of losers who feel out of place at their nieces birthday party with all the married couples and kids." Five says as he sits his beer down on our table with a large clink.
"I don't feel out of place, I could easily find someone I could marry and have kids with. you couldn't because you look like you're 18." I argue, and five leans back in his seat and crosses his arms slightly, mouthing ben so subtly so that ben can't see.
"Wait, y/n, did you ever even move on after your ben died?" My other Ben asks, and I look at him, my eyes wide as I try to muster an answer.
I try to muster up and answer, but none suitable come to my mind because the truth is I didn't even try to move on, I felt like there was no point, my whole childhood my heart was set on the fact that I'd be marrying Ben, I wanted to at the time despite how young we were and the fact we didn't fully understand the whole concept of marrige and he said he wanted to aswell. when he died I just blamed myself, I thought it was my fault he had died and I convinced myself everyone I love will die because of me, as a sort of reminder that my powers were a curse. obviously, that fact was proven false because my powers are gone. but even now, I'm still cautious to open myself back up to love, but when I'm with this ben, I feel myself slowly opening up again.
"I tried, but nobody stuck around." I lie, and Five shoots me a knowing glare, and Ben just nods, yet another comfortable silence falling over us as I take a large drink from my beer, staring down at my hands before Five starts a conversation with Ben and I can't help but sigh a sigh of relief.
somehow, Luther and Sloane have convinced me to come to theirs to stay the night.
"I think it'll have beneficial effects on releasing your childhood trauma y/n." Luther tells me as I sit in the back of his car, ben at the other side as sloane sits in the front and stares out the window.
"I'm the child psychologist Luther. You just stick to putting out fires." I state, crossing my arms slightly as I stare out the car window, watching the world go by the single frame of glass, trying to hide my smile as I hear Ben laugh at my comment.
"Do you ever sit and look at people and just laugh to yourself because you've saved their asses from the end of the world three times now?" I ask to Luther mainly due to the fact the Sparrow Academy have only had to save the world once, which ended up in all but two of them dying and he just shrugs as he continues to drive.
"Imagine how Viktor feels, knowing he almost killed them twice." Ben says, and that causes me to laugh, slapping a hand over my mouth as I try to stop it.
"That's nasty! the first time wasn't fully his fault. He just discovered his powers and didn't know how to stop them." I tell him, leaning over to gently slap his arm, but I'm still laughing.
"Plus, it's also semi Luther fault for locking him in this weird, safe thing." I add, and Luther groans, muttering something under his breath, leaving me to smile proudly.
"Let's just sit in silence till we get home." Luther suggests, and nobody says a single word to protest and I guess it would be sorta rude if I did seeing as I'm staying at his house tonight.
I sit in my old room, looking around at how empty it is because the Umbrella Academy doesn't exist in this timeline, meaning this room is just a room where I just so happened to share all of my good childhood memories, or atleast the handful I can call good.
"Why would you actually agree to come back here?" Ben asks with a laugh as he stands at the doorframe, staring down at me with questioning eyes.
"I think it's actually partly to do with what Luther said, I think it's good for myself to come see the place and realise that everything that happened back in my time line is just memories now, I dont know I guess I'm trying to give myself some closure." I answer with a shrug as ben walks further into the room, now sitting beside me on the bed.
"What were we like? in your timeline anyway?" ben asks, and I feel my heart stop for a second as I look at him for a brief moment.
"Really young but you -" I cut myself off. Is it wrong to address this ben as my Ben? because it is the same person, but it's not at the same time.
"we understood each other, he- *you* were one of the only people at the Umbrella Academy who showed me love despite our age. if we were doing paired work, we'd always be together, at meals we'd always pass notes, during training we always went easy on each other, during missions we always had a close eye on each other, we'd always spend time in my room. yeah, we were really young, but we still loved each other." I tell him, and he just looks at me, a sad smile on his face.
"we were convinced we were gonna get married, and in all honesty, I would've married you if you stuck around." I then add, looking away as I get an unbearable feeling of sadness.
"I would've married you if you came to the Sparrow Academy timeline earlier." Ben tells me, and I almost choke on my spit as I look at him, my eyes wide.
"What?" I ask, shaking my head slightly.
"I felt myself changing slightly the minute I looked at you when our academies met, but I was too.." He trails off trying to find the words.
"stuck up? full of yourself?" I begin listing and he rolls his eyes but he smiles slightly.
"Yeah, yeah, I was too stuck up to actually allow myself to change for you, and also, I was too scared because I know im nothing like your ben so I didn't want to cause a disappointment as though you lost him again." Ben admits, and I just stare at him.
"Ben, you are my ben." I state, my eyes not leaving his face, not even when his eyes light up slightly, not even when he turns to look at me.
"I didn't want to tell you in case you thought I'm just using you because of what happened with Umbrella Ben, but I promise you that is not the case. You are my ben." I then add, and I see his eyes softening as a small smile appears on the edge of his lips.
"so it's safe to say we like each other then?" He asks after a moment of us just staring at each other.
"I guess so." I jokingly groan, but I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him into a hug, just savouring the feeling of ben in my arms, my ben as one of his arms wrap around my waist, the other one coming up to reach into my hair, pressing the back of my head closer into him.
"I can't believe you went to prison, you asshole! I was gonna tell you I had feelings for you once we all settled into the new timeline, and then you went to prison."I scoff, and he pulls away from the embrace slightly and looks at me.
"You could've always written a letter or something." He tells me, a smirk playing on his lips.
"I would've been better using a carrier pigeon. No chance was I gonna have a prison pen pal." I scoff, rolling my eyes, but I did write, and then I wrote again, and again, and guess what? I wrote again.
"I did write to you, over and over again, I just never had the courage to send them, because imagine you got one of the letters, wrote back but it didn't send to me?" I ask, a shiver going down my spine at the thought of never knowing if he felt the same way.
"Well, I would've rewrote the same letter every day and sent it to you until you got it." Ben says, a slight hint of promise in his words, and with that, I press a kiss to his lips, and he instantly returns it, his hand on my waist tightening, gently pushing my head closer to his as he depends the kiss and we continue in our kissing embrace got a few moments, before we hear a:
"When I said coming here would help to release your childhood trauma, I didn't mean by doing.. this." Luther says, and I just pull away laughing.

I'm sitting here rewatching Tua S3 for reasons, and one interesting thing I picked up is that the entire season is really just each of the Umbrellas struggling to define and searching for family in their own way. Here's me laying down some thoughts for y'all:
Luther - For him, family has always been about the team. That's part of the reason he's so drawn to the Sparrows, bc at first they seem to have the cohesiveness that the Umbrellas lacked. Remember, Luther was the last one left at the Academy, then Reginald sent him to the moon alone. So of course seeing a "functional" team is going to be compelling for him, and he desperately wants to be part of it. And then he and Sloane quickly fall in love and for the first time in his entire life, someone wants him for him. It's intoxicating and utterly consuming NRE that is more powerful than anything he's ever felt.
Diego and Lila - For these two, it's about figuring out how to be a family. Both together, but also a little bit with the other Umbrellas. Diego looking out for Allison and Klaus and Lila and Five coming to a truce are part of this - more about Lila and Five in a sec.
Allison - In her mind, her family is Claire and Ray. This one is obvious, but I also think that the writers did us a disservice by not letting us into Allison's perspective. If you think about it, it's completely normal for a parent to put their child above all. While I don't defend her actions, her motivation could have been more compelling and it would have strengthened her character. But sadly she's the character on the show that is most "othered" (which is bad for many reasons)
Klaus - he really dug deep into individual relationships w family, starting with Five (e2 and 5 Five and Klaus bonding are still some of the best bits of the season imo), Diego, Reginald, Sparrow Ben, and then Luther in the afterlife.
Five - Five remains a pragmatist. His bar for family is very low - success for him means the Umbrellas being alive, no matter what the personal cost or sacrifice to him or to some extent others. It is somewhat depressingly delightful to see how he makes his peace with the end of the world as the season progresses. Before that, however, I'd like to meander back to e3 and 4 where Lila convinces him to electrocute himself and then they go on the Commission mission. Both of the actors do a fine job here bouncing back and forth between witty banter and genuine emotion and I love it. It's a quick and subtle piece of dialogue when Five explains how he saved Lila from the Handler. The undertone is that they were both abused by that woman in a similar way - ultimately, she developed and kept them both as pawns in her own game. And I think Five, starting in S2E10 and fleshed out through S3, develops genuine empathy for and eventually acceptance of Lila as family, as one of them, because of this shared experience.
Viktor - Like Viktor in all seasons, he continues to feel out of place with the Umbrellas and compensates by over-prioritizing his relationships with others. Don't get me wrong, I do empathize with him that he lost real love with Sissy and Halan, but I also think Allison was 100% valid to call him out on his lying in E6, and it was on point to verbalize how the constant focus on Viktors pain minimizes her (and everyone else's) experience. (Edit to add: Viktor finally seems to get the message on this, after being called out by Allison, then subsequently both Sparrow Ben and Five, and spends the last few episodes trying to make amends. Real character development here and I like to see it)
Reginald - Well, his overarching motivation since S1 has always been bringing back his dead wife, so I won't belabor that, but also it's interesting to see how he interacted with Klaus particularly - esp in E7 when he sobers up it seems he is experimenting with remembering his role as a father. Now we don't get a ton about his internal motivation here, but you can tell there is some mild curiosity, if not affection, for Klaus, despite the fact that he ultimately is cool with sacrificing him.
Some of these are more obvious than others, but when you tie them all together, the idea that they are all desperately looking for family and the blind spots that that creates for them, some of the messiness of S3 starts to make a bit more sense.

Do you think they know?
Masterlist
Summary // you’ve been secretly dating Five for a month without suspicion but one morning could change everything.
Tumblr media
//
Five groans lightly, using his free hand to rub his eyes as his other hand wraps tighter around your waist, the sun seeping through the curtains waking you both. There was nothing you loved more than spending the morning cuddling in bed with Five, it was the only time you two can really be together. No one else in the family knows what you two have been doing, you’ve become so good at hiding it they think the two of you hate each other. That couldn’t be further from the truth.
“We should get up princess” Five mumbles, his voice deep and rough, you loved his morning voice. “No” you mumble back, letting out a chuckle as you bury your head further into his chest. “Yes princess” he chuckles to himself, preparing to get out of bed, you hold onto him tighter moaning at the idea of leaving the bed. He sighs, leaning down to kiss you on the forehead, “I know, I’m sorry but at least one of us has to get up” he’s right. You know he’s right. You loosen your grip with a huff, watching as he stands from the bed. Throwing his shirt on and buttoning it up, he turns to you, giving you a soft smile “I know princess but you know what will happen if we stay in bed all day”. One thing about Five is that he’s always right. You hate it. “Fine” you say defeated “I’ll see you tonight?” You ask, looking up at the sweet boy “of course” he coes, turning to face the door as he puts his pants back on. “I’ll see you soon princess” he winks, sending flutters through you, before heading to the door and for the kitchen. You watch him leave, carefully closing the door behind him.
Walking down the hall you start to hear your siblings arguing, you stop, trying to find out what they’re saying. “Just admit it Five, we all know” know what? You think, carefully stepping closer as the argument continues, “I’m not going to admit to anything Allison because there is nothing to admit” Five fires back, you can feel his frustration, “nothing’s going on huh?” Diego pipes up, your interest only increasing “then explain why Klaus saw you two this morning” your heart stopped at his words, you’ve been caught. It was nice whilst it lasted, you thought. “I don’t know what Klaus thinks he saw but he’s high right now” Five snaps back “he doesn’t even know what he saw” he’s mad. Really mad. Klaus scoffs in protest, he is high but he knows what he saw.
The bickering continues some more before you decide you’ve heard enough, you decide to walk in like nothing happened, watching as your family all fall silent and stare as you make your entrance. “Morning” you coo, heading to the coffee maker “what are you all arguing about?” You ask, already knowing the answer, watching as they all become flustered at the question. Silence quickly filling the room, you let out a soft sigh as you pour your coffee. “Well” Luther clears his throat, ignoring Diego’s attempts to silence him “we we’re talking about how…” his words drift off. “Are you two fucking?” Allison asks, folding her arms over her chest as both you and Five choke on your drinks, “Allison!” Diego scolds his sister, you can’t help but chuckle.
“No, we’re not fucking Allison” you snapped back after a moment, shaking your head at the idea. “Is that what you were all arguing about?” You add, looking around the room, no one can make eye contact with you, not even Five. “Maybe” Luther mumbles, looking around at his siblings, you laugh in response, it was the only thing you could think to do. “Why would you all care anyway?” You ask, instantly regretting your choice of words, your siblings all look around before looking to you “because” Allison sighs “because?” You ask, pushing for an answer “because you’re brother and sister, that’s weird!” She shouts, clearly forgetting. You turn to her, a smile prominent on your face. “Oh hunny” you chuckle “those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones” you were right but it was kind of harsh. You watch as the others try not to laugh, holding in your own.
You finish the last of your coffee, taking it in one swig before placing the empty cup in the sink and standing straight. Clearing your throat you wrap your hands around your chest “well” you speak, grabbing everyone’s attention, “since you all think we’re fucking, I guess we might as well do just that”. Allison scoffs as the rest of your family look at you with wide eyes, Five can’t wipe the smug grin off his face. “Yeah, I guess you’re right princess, might as well” his words were like hunny, your body fluttered at the idea. Taking Five’s hand you cheerfully walk to your room, leaving your family pick their jaws up off the floor. Guess there’s no point in hiding it anymore, right?

Some things I actually liked about season 4, since not all of it was bad:
- Luther and Diego just kicking ass at the CIA building and having bonding moments.
- Klaus fearing everything now that he’s not immortal anymore. It was kind of cool to see how not having their powers affected them, and I feel like that was one of the clearest examples.
- Claire. Her and Klaus relationship was so cute, and her and Allison reconciling in the end was nice.
- Luther wrecking that piñata. Also a great show of someone who misses their power in a way and how hard they’re coping without them.
- The Five diner thing. I actually think that could’ve been such an interesting storyline as a whole, it explained how the commission came to be, etc etc. but we really could’ve gotten there without the Lila and Five storyline.
- Victor standing up to Reginald. I love this song.
- Cryptobro!Ben. So stupid yet so in character for sparrow!Ben, and I kind of lived for our first introduction of him this season being him being released from prison.
That’s some I can think of now. Feel free to add something that you didn’t absolutely hate!

My issue with TUA s4 is that I don't mind the concept of it all. Jennifer and Ben being intertwined and somehow destined to bring the cleanse or die to avoid that.
I feel like there was some potential there to be explored and I enjoyed certain aspects if I look at it in isolation.
But maybe it's because they didn't feel like they had enough time to develop any idea so they did nothing for most of those 6 episodes.
Separating the characters in groups/duos/alone before reuniting at the end is the usual formula. But they did nothing of value for the whole time ?
I enjoyed what I enjoyed bc I like the cast and the vibe of the show, even when they have clearly no idea on what they wanted to do.
It was mediocre when it wasn't bad just because the actors are good at their job.
Now the Lila and Five thing. I can understand from a human standpoint that spending seven years alone with someone you care for and you connect with bc of your very similar life experience and past can push you to find comfort in each other and blurring the lines.
Was it completely unnecessary? It was. Especially with how they treated Diego's character this season honestly.
If they really had wanted it to happen they should not have leaned into the romanticism like I really do not think that they would actually fall for each other. Finding comfort in the only other person who is also someone you know is one thing but actually falling for them? That's something that really doesn't make sense to me for those characters.
Well either way it was unnecessary and could have easily never have happened because it legit did not add anything to a season where nothing happened and that's saying much.
Side note is that I hate how they turned Luther's body dysmorphia into a joke. I didn't even like Luther in s1 but they leaned so heavily into making him the comedic relief for the wrong reasons and I hate that. They did it a lot with Diego too this season and Klaus ofc.
I swear the characters were either used as laughing stock because of their trauma or not doing much? And then they just disappeared from existence. It made the ending not hit all from even though in another circumstance I would have been bawling at seeing them gone.
Viktor and Allison got the best end of the deal by at least having Reginald and Claire as their counterparts to talk to and explore a bit of their relationships.
It's sad to see a show that I have loved since its first season go down like this honestly. I wish we had the chance of a better farewell. The cast also deserved better storylines and a better goodbye to something that was a big a part of their life for years.

Umbrella Academy season 4:
I finished the entire season a few nights ago, so lets talk about some things;
I haven't checked in with the fandom in any way, but from most of the tiktoks i've seen, not many like this season. Completely understandable, makes sense, especially after seeing that weird (a lot of people used the word:) predatory relationship which went down between Five and Lila. I definitely did not see it coming, and though I don't find it predatory myself, as they are both consenting adults, since Five is in the body of an (i think) 20-something year old, but has the mind of an (if i remember right) 60/70 year old(?). I think how it happened can also be an excuse; they were trapped together for (what felt like to them) 7 years. Not to mention that Five had probably been lonely for some time now, and though Lila claimed that her marriage satisfied her, I really don't think it did.
This all however, is totally not an excuse for their behavior. Lila was married with three kids, and Five was the brother of her husband. They were in-laws, which does add to the weird pile.
The only thing I really enjoyed about their "hang", was their travels through all the different timelines. And now we have another academy (The Phoenix Academy), that's just a fun thought. I would have loved to see an episode where they explored the different timelines with different academies.
In other news: I love Luther.
I'm sorry, but I just do. I think the way he desperately tries to keep everything together when it comes to their family is commendable. In previous season, I always hated how he excused Reggie's behavior, but now that he's left that behind and focuses solely on his siblings instead is adorable. Both and he and Allison have given up on the whole incestuous relationship they had, and now they don't even mention it nor acknowledge it. Though normally I would say that that's not a healthy way to deal, I think it's actually better to just leave it all be.
Yes, I know he's kind of pathetic. Yes, I know he is also somewhat selfish. No, I do not care. He's trying very hard to be cool older brother Luther and cool uncle Luther. I think his whole descent into sex work should have been talked about in a better way, but somehow he always brought it up as a thing he enjoys doing? I'm not going to go into prolematic things that the writers have been doing, but this is definitely one of them. There's nothing consensual about sex work, and it should never be shown as something that one might enjoy doing.
This is one of the first actual seasons, however, where we get to witness Diego doing his thing! (I know we've seen him do some other tricks, but they never been this detailed.) I was so shocked to see him do his little spin in the air to redirect the bullets during the second episode, but I was disappointed to see that Lila did NOT care.
Talking about Lila and Diego, did anybody else catch that one part in the first episode about how they basically had the twins accidentally? Diego explains to Luther that though he loves Lila and his kids, he feels exhausted and not at all satisfied. Then he explaines that they had the twins through Lila telling him that since she was breastfeeding, she couldn't get pregnant. It's unclear now if they were both mistaken, but just the way he was talking about it, it felt like to me that he felt betrayed by Lila. I'm pretty sure that Lila was aware that she could still get pregnant, she just knew that she wouldn't be able to convince Diego, so instead she did this.
Viktor is as cool as ever. He's always been very cool, but thinking back to all other old (pre-transition) Elliot Page roles, its so noticiable how uncomfortable he was in his body, and getting to see him now, playing a male character, whos not only accepted by his siblings but Reggie too?! Amazing. And him bonding with Reggie? Delicious, I ate that right up. Reggie calling him "boy" (and other masculine nicknames)? Love, love, love.
This is one point for the writers and Netflix, this is exactly how Hollywood should handle an actor coming out, and I hope that this will be an example for future media that will feature transgender actors in the middle of transitioning.
Klaus is our little weirdo who DESERVES a break. He needs it. Please.
We get to see him clean this season, but I did not expect him to behave like this while off drugs. Honestly, I'm not sure I expected anything. I guess I kind of just thought he'd do drugs anyway? Or that he'd get clean but still behave somewhat the same way.
Poor Klaus was also a character subjected to sex work this season, it just made a bit more sense this time. He definitely did not enjoy it, that was something they made very obvious, but they still couldn't do it just right. It was awful watching him have to make a choice between getting money to pay off his debt and leave or a sole condom for "dealing" with costumers. They didn't make it obvious how many clients he really had, but through dialog, you could kind of guess that he had way more than the one girl whose money he tried stealing.
I loved seeing his relationship with Allison this season. And I loved his relationship with Claire even more. I felt the scene where he went home to rob Allison's place so he could get money to buy drugs was realistic, but since I've never had any experiences with addiction of that kind, I won't speak on it.
The villains of the season were kind of nothing if I'm being honest. I loved their sense of style, but other than that they were basic, text-book style villains, who were mostly around to just help the story along. They weren't too memorable, but neither was Reggie's wife? Partner? I'm not sure who she was, or if she counts as a villain or not? I didn't really understand her role, but I did like how she treated the siblings the first time they met.
Then there is Ben and Jennifer.
I feel like we never really made Ben an official part of the siblings, even though he is supposed to be. His relationship with Jennifer was very cute, but once again, it was not too memorable, even though it was supposed to be the main story of the entire season. I find it weird how it all looks unplanned while also being completely planned? Like, you'd assume that ever since season 1, this has always been the story of Ben's death, and yet it still feels like it just wasn't? It feels like they were putting this whole thing together blindly, and then someone thought of the right thing and that was what made it all make sense.
And I don't like how things with Jennifer went unexplained! What does that fucking squid have to do with anything???
But anyway, other than all that, this season was a very basic example of a Netflix series. It was entertaining but not deep. It was a good watch, but I don't think I could ever do a re-watch. I think it was overall, just nice.

Allison was done so dirty this entire show. S1 she struggles with using her powers because she uses it for selfish reasons. It would be good to show how her power can be used for good and doesn’t have to be a bad thing, but in s4 she doesn’t even have that power. Like she now has telekinesis? Also in s1 she struggled with her romantic relationships. Her and her husband are divorced and she is has feelings for Luther that are unresolved. I do think it was weird for them to add the relationship between Luther and Allison, but if you do that stick to it? Like it bothers me that Luther and Allison don’t even really interact in s4, when we see in flashbacks they are 2 of the closest siblings. Also Ray just disappears and maybe the actor wasn’t available, but at least explain why. Allison became a villain in s3 and she does feel guilty about it s4, but I think the 6 year time skip didn’t allow us to see how everyone else dealt with that. The powers disappearing bothered me the most, but just her whole character doesn’t seem right. I have similar complaints to literally every other character too. I think the problem with the writing is the same problem as in the show, they try fixing things and it ends up worse than before, and then everything is a mess so big you have to wipe the slate completely clean.

Loved participating in the Ben and his siblings chat but it also brought up some points on the brellies and their trauma! So let’s do a bit of a deep dive into all of them and see what makes up our umbrella family.
Keep in mind, I’m not a psychologist or anything, I’ve just finished a college class about it but I’m nowhere near an expert. I’m just going off things I myself know and what I can see.
First we’ll start with Luther!
Part 2: Diego
Luther:
Luther seemed to develop a dependency on Reginald? In the beginning, he never doubted him and he always stood by him. Maybe he was scared if he didn’t stay with Reginald, Grace and Pogo, he’d have nothing. He tried to keep the siblings together as the leader but they all left, feeding Luther’s abandonment issues. Then..Reginald sent him to the moon. Ik as a fandom when season 1 was the only thing we had, we all made fun of Luther for constantly bringing up the moon and why Reginald sent him there but it’s really important for his character. Luther went because Reginald told him to but eventually the loneliness got to him. Reginald never told him WHY he was there only that it was important. Later we found out it’s for Abigail’s corpse. When Luther came back and found out Reginald never opened the samples he sent, he thought he was sent for no reason. That Reginald just wanted to get rid of him. This fed into his abandonment issues.
This might also be why Luther got so attached to Allison and eventually formed an incestual relationship? He felt like he’d never find a normal girl to love so he went with the only girl to show him affection? (Not saying it was okay at all, I’m just trying to understand WHY he’d do it).
Then we also have his accident where he got the gorilla body. This is obviously body dysmorphia and he tries everything he can to hide it by constantly wearing long sleeves and gloves. In the comics he also binge eats during a depressive episode so..
In season 1, all of his decisions seem heavily based on “would Reginald do it.” Then after he discovers Reginald sent him to the moon for no reason he was told of, he had to figure it all out on his own but he couldn’t…so he went through a rebellion phase and went to party, taking some drugs and taking a girl home. He hated it so he never did it again. Then he just tried to keep the family together and went back trying to he the leader.
In season 2, he seemed to join an underground fighting ring 1. For money and 2. To get his anger and frustrations out. It’s a coping mechanism for him. Also why after the whole Allison thing, he let the guy beat him up. He thought he deserved it. Then Five sort of helps him out of the rut because he promised to get them home. So Luther tries to lead to Five and take care of him, like a good leader. He failed because now there’s two fives and they’re both insane.
In season 3, he’s completely infatuated by Sloane. It’s a girl he likes but he doesn’t know how to handle liking a girl so he’s going a bit…4th grade girl with her crush. Idk if it would count as incest because Reginald never adopted him in this timeline but they both call him dad and they both refer to Ben as their brother so..in a way, they’re siblings?…anyway, he’s coping with everything by focusing on Sloane.
In season 4 (which doesn’t exist), he’s trying to rebuild his childhood home to make it into something he never had. But he also was starting to have some self doubt, as we see in a deleted scene with him and Diego in the CIA where he asks Diego if he was a good leader. He probably had a feeling the end of the world was coming so he wanted just a bit of validation from his brother, to know he did a good job. Something Reginald would never tell him. And then, he died in his childhood home. The home he could never rebuild to make it nice. But at least he died with his siblings and not alone, like he feared.
So here’s Luther..feel free to add anything I missed! Luther is mostly based on abandonment issues, self doubt and body dysmorphia.

Mysterious. Pt 2
_________________________________________________
Five stared at himself in the mirror of the shoddy hotel Obsidian as he washed his hands. He was angry, but he wasn’t sure what at.
“Five.” Diego’s voice interrupted his brooding. Five turned off the sink, dried his hands and looks at Diego. “Yes, Diego?” Five asks him, unusually calm. “Family meeting. Luther called it.” Diego responds and leaves the bathroom.
“Great,” Five sighs, grabbing his blazer and leaving the bathroom. He follows Diego to the bar area of Hotel Oblivion. Five stands near the wall with his arms crossed. He surveyed the room and noticed the boy. His posture straightens and he readjusts his tie, maintaining eye contact with him. “I called this meeting because I think we should add another person to the team,” Luther begins, Lila snorting behind Diego. “Sorry,” She giggled.
“Anyway, I really think Scout could help us. He’s got powers like us and he’s really good in combat.” Luther smiles at Scout. Suddenly, Five began feeling something weird growing in his stomach. It wasn’t hunger, or the need to go to the bathroom, so what was it? Five fixated on Luther and noticed something in his eye whenever he looked at, or even talked about Scout. The feeling grew tighter. “So, what do you guys think?” Luther asks, looking around anxiously. Mostly, everyone shrugged, not really caring. Five walked closer to the two, examining Scout more. “I’d like to see you in combat first.” Five remarks, smirking at Luther.
“I’d be happy to show you.” He says, her voice pooling in Luther and Five’s ears like honey and sweet tea. Five notices him fidgeting with his hand.
“R-right now?” Luther sputters, putting a hand on Scout's shoulder protectively. “Well, no. Who is he going to fight?” Five asks. An enthusiastic Klaus runs up to Five’s side. “I’ll fight him!” He chirps. “Um, no you fight like a girl, I’ll fight him,” Allison says, slowly approaching the rest of them. Suddenly, she swings her fist at Scout. Before her fist hits him, though, he disappears. He reappears standing behind Allison. He grabs her arm and pushes her down, pinning her arm behind her back. “I heard a rumor,” Allison began. “That you got the hell off of me!” She finishes, however, Scout doesn’t yield.
“You should really try better than that, sweetheart.” The sweet tone in his voice is gone, now it’s pure anger. He flips Allison, sitting his full weight on her and punching her in the jaw. She groans which elicits a giggle from Scout. “Is this enough proof for you Five?” Diego asks while Scout punches Allison in the eye, then in the nose. Viktor joins the group.
“I kind of want to see where this goes,” He says.
“Is this some kind of revenge thing for Harold or whatever the fuck his name is?” Luther asks angrily. “Harlan! And no, I think this kid has serious potential.” He snaps back. Scout punches Allison in the face again. “Alright, alright that's enough.” Five says, pulling Scout off of Allison. “You’re in.” Five smiles at Scout. _________________________________________________
That night, Scout decides to bunk with the boys. It’s not necessarily ideal, but he feels more safe with them than Allison.
“Are you sure you don’t want to sleep in the bed? I don’t mind sleeping on the floor,” Five offers. Scout simply shakes his head.
“No, thanks. I’ll be fine, I promise.” His voice was once again sweet. He smiles at Five, making Five smile back. “If you need anything, let me know.” Five says as he climbs into bed.
Later that night, Scout is woken up in a sweat. His heart is pounding and he feels sick to his stomach. He gets up and slowly walks out of the room, going to the bathroom. He goes to a sink, splashing water in his face. When he looks in the mirror, Five is standing behind him. “You alright?” He asks softly. Scout nods.
“Just nightmares is all.” Scout chuckles softly.
“Are you sure there’s nothing I can do to help you?” Five asks, genuinely concerned.
“Actually,” Scout fidgets with his hands, turning to Five. “I uh, I feel more comfortable when…” The rest is mumbled. His entire face flushes as he looks into Five’s piercing green eyes. Even though he’s sleepy, his eyes are still breathtaking. “What did you say?” Five asks, furrowing his brow. Scout blushes harder, fidgeting more. “You don’t have to be nervous. I won’t judge you.” He assures. Scout sighs. “I feel safer when someone holds me as I sleep.” Scout blushes more, looking away from him.
Five smiles, offering his hand. “I don’t mind doing that.” Scout smiles and takes his hand. Scout's hands are freezing compared to Five’s. Once they return to the room, Scout lays on his side facing the wall as Five gently wraps his arms around his torso. Scout's entire body was freezing. Five pulls him closer to his body, gently nuzzling in the crook of his neck. Slowly, they both fell asleep.

At the end of Umbrella Academy season 3, we see Reginald Hargreeves has reset the universe to put himself in an even wealthier position with his alien wife alive and by his side. Since Allison made that deal with him, he made sure to include that she gets Claire and Ray in this new reality too.
(How all this somehow resurrects Luther but kills Sloane while keeping Sparrow Ben around is, frustratingly enough, never explained.)
Personally I consider this one hell of a missed opportunity to explore how exactly this world is supposed to work in season 4. Was Ray’s entire life altered so that he was born in the 80s now? Is he Claire’s biological father in this timeline? Are they ‘really’ the people that Allison left behind in the original timeline or recreations by Reggie? Does she even care? None of this is addressed and that’s a damn shame.
I would have even gone one step further and given Klaus Dave and Viktor Sissy, for the exact same reasons. They can finally be together but it would require an entirely new history of how the they met and what their relationship was like. Klaus and Viktor would have to reckon with a false history with their new partners and what that means for their relationships.
Giving the characters all what they want is also a great way to add actual stakes into the original timeline trying to reassert itself. I’m not sure why the Umbrellas in the show care so much about the timeline resetting if their lives aren’t much different from in Reggie’s timeline. Having Allison, Klaus and Viktor have their lives with their (potentially fake) love interests at risk at least gives them a reason to prefer Reggie’s timeline over their old one.
To be clear, I didn’t like season 4, but its problems are problems the show has always had, just compounded. Its writing has never been stellar, but it didn’t need to be for what it was. This was just my thoughts on what the show could’ve been.

WARM HEART,
WARMER LOVE
Chapter 3: Diego
Tumblr media
Pogo almost pray you at this point, he prays you to keep an eye on Diego after his last incident.
He came back home with two bullet wounds and scared the hell out of the entire family and you, so, for now, his vigilantes crap is off the list.
But you know Diego too well, he will sneak out a window or something like that and you're afraid that one day he will not come back home.
Two love lost is too much to bear for you.
Diego is lying on the couch, fidgeting with a knife, rolling a shoulder, the one hit by a bullet, probably he still feels pain.
You stood by the door, observing him until he noticed you and instructed you to come over next to him.
You sit down brushing a hand on his arm, taking the knife from his hand and inspecting it.
"Wanna learn how to throw this Y/N?" he asks you, probably hoping for a yes, he always loves to teach you things.
He also likes to learn, always observing you while you paint and teasingly asking you if you want to paint him, maybe without clothes on, it usually ends with him rushing out of the room while you throw brushes and other utilities.
"Maybe another time, when it's not raining outside and you're not injured. You're still recovering from two wounds, Diego" you respond in a rebuked tone.
He rolls his eyes annoyed and leans forward to stand up, he meets your best killer glare and returns with his back on the couch.
"I'm fine, see? All in one piece, limbs and all the rest minus a litre of blood" he gestures to himself.
Yeah. You see he is fine, fine a lot, you wonder by which damn criterion Reginald has chosen them, like "yes, this one will be gorgeous when they will be a grown-up".
Go. To. Hell. Reggie. But. Thanks.
Diego is always the hardest to convince when the task is distracting him, with Klaus is so easy, you just need to ask him if he wants to watch a movie or go out to eat something, Allison loves going into bars and chatting, Vanya loves watching you drawing, Five loves to talk about science and telling you about Delores, Luther is the easiest 'cause you just have to tell him "Because Allison says that" and he does whatever you want.
Diego can't stay calm for a single moment, always in movement, searching for something to do, someone to help, someone who deserves a kick in the ass and a stab in the knee.
"Maybe you can help me, Grace's birthday is in two weeks, do you know what to get her?" now you got his attention.
"Nope... She has an enormous amount of clothes, jewels, shoes, and bags even if she doesn't use them. It's pretty useless to make her a gift believe me." he sighs.
"You know what else is useless?" Diego adds.
"It's pretty useless trying to lie to me, Pogo asked you to keep an eye on me, right?"
"And I won't let you go anywhere." you confirm.
"Y/N, I'm thirty years old goddammit! I can do what I want" Diego pushes himself up on his elbows and in a sitting position before trying to stand up.
To prevent it, you do the only thing that crosses your mind, you straddle his hips, putting your legs on both sides of him.
This is a bad idea because now you are very close to Diego, a very startled Diego who has not even registered that he has his hands on your waist to keep you balanced.
"You. Are. Not. Leaving. Diego" speaking slowly and clearly, you're trying to intimidate him and probably failing.
"You sound very confident for someone red from tip to toe" he smiles smugly looking up at you, pulling you down to sit on him and grabbing your arms guiding them around his neck.
"NOW I'm not going anywhere" Diego is so irritating sometimes.
You don't know if you want to punch him or kiss him, maybe both and you don't know which one you should do first.
"You know I love you all and we have already lost Ben. One love lost is enough for me... Please stay, stop this vigilante thing. Reginald thought you to fight... Let me teach you some domestic life, maybe? Life is not all cracking skulls, you might like it. " you speak softly, caressing his scalp.
You see how he is struggling, he wants to listen to you but also to return to the streets.
" Domestic stuff is not for me, there are people that need me and the cops can't be everywhere" Diego tells you lifting you from him so he can stand up.
He collects all his knives before leaving, and you hear the front door shut closed.
Every time he leaves, you die a little bit inside, you're terrified by the news channels, afraid that they tell you he's dead.
Only when he returns home, beaten up black and blue, you start to breathe again.
Only when you peel off his blood-stained clothes and patch him up, you feel better.
And only when you finally see him sleep with you as his guardian angel, you can genuinely smile.

Certainly! Here are some of the significant differences between Gerard Way’s original comic book series and the Netflix TV show “The Umbrella Academy”: - Powers of the Hargreeves Siblings: - In the comics, Diego has precision knife-throwing skills and can hold his breath underwater indefinitely. - Klaus can levitate and communicate via airwaves. - Allison’s powers in the comics warp reality. - Vanya’s comic book powers involve using her violin to manipulate sound waves. - The show creators made the siblings’ abilities slightly different to make them feel more “human.” - Vanya’s powers are notably more potent in the show than in the comics. - Luther’s Origin Story: - In the show, Luther’s size results from Sir Reginald Hargreeves injecting him with ape serum. - In the comics, his head is attached to the body of a Martian gorilla, granting him physical abilities like one. - Allison’s Appearance: - Comic Allison has purple hair and loses an arm as a child. - It’s yet to be revealed where her second arm came from in the comics. - Diego’s Eye: - In the comics, Diego only has one eye, but it’s never explained. - In the show, Diego has a scar on the side of his head but no missing eye. - Klaus and Vanya’s Sexual Orientation: - In the comics, Klaus and Vanya are not explicitly LGBTQ+ characters. - The show developed Klaus’ gay tendencies as the character evolved Read the full article

Ending Idea
Setting: Everyones in the living room of The Umbrella Academy, deciding they are all gonna sacrifice themselves when Victor say "No, I can take your marigold.."
Victor takes the marigold from their bodies, while TC is coming, they all protest saying you can't sacrifice yourself like this for us and he says "We are a family I'd do anything for you guys" cue tears and Allison saying "Viktor stop!" as he's absorbing all the marigold, it looks like he's gonna explode but he manages to regain control and falls to the ground, they pick him up and huddle together. Big bang noise and they look and see TC is behind them smashing through the wall of the house, they all get scattered about the room. Coming to they see TC moving forward so they rush to get up, then suddenly they see Ben's face moving in TC and he manages to say "Run!!". They all rush to Five except a weak Viktor who looks back at Ben and a small flash plays through his head of old Ben, he rushes toward TC, powers gearing up and screams as he tries to pull the marigold out of Ben inside of TC. He shouts louder and uses more of his power to suck more marigold into himself, until we slowly see Ben, coming back to his normal self, pushing forward out of TC, until he slides across the room, breathing heavily. He sees The Umbrellas to his right and Viktor floating in the air to his left, powers swirling all around him, slowly loosing control of it all, seconds from being enveloped by not only his powers but also TC and he asks "Why? Why would you help me like this? We aren't even a family" to which Viktor replies through a pained, strained voice, "Because you saved me once and even if that was a different you, your still my brother". Cut to The Umbrellas all emotional as they frantically grab Ben and pull him towards them. TC pulses as it's growing, Viktor shouts "Five now! Get them out of here". They share a look of farewell and Five reluctantly blinks them out of the room to the subway where their family is, Allison and Klaus are shouting to go back but they are pulled onto the train by Luther and Diego. Cut back to The Umbrella Academy where Viktor is still floating and we cut to his face and see a shift in his eyes, he closes them and we see a small montage of clips of Sissy, Harlan and The Umbrellas, then he lets go and in slow mo falls backwards as it explodes again, and he lands with a smile on his face into TC. Cut to year later in the new timeline, TU are gathered in a park for their birthday, everyone is there, Klaus & Dave, Luther & Sloane, Diego & Lila are together and she has her original beaded bracelet on, Allison smiles at Claire who's playing with her cousins, Ben & Jennifer are together, Luther looks around and says where's Five? they all moan about him always being late. Cut to Five rushing, walking through the entrance of the park, he bumps into a young woman and he drops the bag he's carrying, she helps him pick it up and as he looks up, his eyes meet hers and it's love at first sight, she says sorry and smiles and just as he's about to speak a voice calls out "Dolores" and she turns and says "I'm so sorry I have to go, sorry again". We cut back to TU as Five joins them with a big grin on his face. Cue some playful ribbing from the rest of them as Five is never normally smiley like this. Five brushes it off then gives them each a beer from the bag and Dave jokingly says "Hey!" and switches out Klaus' beer for a soda and Klaus loudly says "Awww isn't he the best everyone" to which Dave is instantly embarrassed. Then Ben says "We're here to today not only to celebrate our birthdays but to remember those who aren't with us and whilst we never actually acted like siblings they were all still my family, so here's to Marcus, Fei, Alphonso, Christopher, Jamie and.. Viktor". They all raise their beers and together say "To Viktor" as Five adds "To Viktor who was truly the best of us!". I think we're alone now starts to quietly play out if a boom box on the table, Klaus shouts "I love this song" and turns it up, and they all start dancing, we slowly zoom out of the park as the song plays and we see marigolds growing all around. Cue the bts.
Instead of having just everyone die for, well, what? Why not have Viktor who was always treated as an outsider, never allowed to be an Umbrella or be included in the family, be the one to save everyone - it's not ideally what I would want to happen but at least this way there is ~meaning~ to what is happening. Thoughts?

May I request something where reader and rest of the Hargreeves siblings hugging Five at the verge of the apocalypse? I saw someone say that sort of idea and honestly Five just deserves the love. Hope ur having a great day!
A/N- I wasn't sure which apocalypse lol. So I just went with season one hope that is okay.
We, Will, Be Okay
x sibling reader
Warnings- Spoilers for the end of season one and beginning of season three
Pronouns- They/Them
Word Count- 678
Summary- You all go to confront Viktor as he is now the White Violin and things do not go as planned.
Tumblr media
I wish I could have been there for Viktor when he needed me we all should have been there for each other but we were all preoccupied with our own tiny lives. We should have been fighting to save the world we never should have stopped. You know what we should have never left Viktor out our whole childhood anyway! Why would we listen to some old man who adopted us purely for our powers?
All these are thoughts that flash through my mind as I feel the life drain out of me. I am frozen metaphorically and literally as I am trapped in the sky by Viktor's powers with my other siblings. I can see my siblings out of the corner of my eye their faces are a sickly grey and I am really concerned that this is how we will die. Just a bunch of bickering siblings who should have listened to our brother.
One second I am paralyzed, there is a gunshot, and we are all back on the ground. We all rush to Allison and Viktor as quickly as we can.
“I-is he still alive?” I asked feeling my heart drop as Allison cradles him and nods.
I smile widely as tears start to form in my eyes. Everyone lets out a sigh of relief that I think we have all been holding in since Luther locked up Viktor. Diego had to confirm out loud that we saved the world and we all smiled and laughed. That was until Klaus turned around and stood up pointing at the piece of Moon that was hurtling towards Earth.
“That is not good,” Luther says aloud.
I of course turn to Luther with a glare, “No shit Sherlock.”
Klaus sighs, “So much for saving the world.”
“If only Sir Reginald could see us now. The Umbrella Academy, a failure,” Diego groans.
Luther tries to console us by saying, “At least we are together.” But I can tell we are all still defeated.
Five seems to be pacing this whole conversation and finally jumps in, “This doesn’t have to be the end! I might have a way out of this but you have to trust me.”
My siblings all shrug Five off but I refuse for this to be the end. We can’t let Viktor done again. “What’s your plan Five?”
“I can time travel but this time I take all of you with me,” he responds.
I nod immediately “ I’m in!”
“Hey what's the worst that can happen” Diego shrugs.
“Well, you could end up stuck in a twelve year olds body,” Five responds.
“Dude you are not helping your case and I am already on your side,” I shake my head.
“Whatever I’m in,” Klaus responds.
Luther looks to Allison who nods and then agrees.
“Luther grab Viktor,” Five bosses.
“Should we be taking him with us isn’t he like a bomb?” Luther asks.
I practically growl at him “That is our brother!”
“Viktor will cause the apocalypse unless we take him with us and fix him” Five adds.
The Moon asteroid keeps getting closer every second we talk so Five rushes us to all get in a circle and hold hands.
“Aww Five you love us and want us to hold hands,” I tease and Klaus laughs.
“Not the time Y/N,” Five groans.
“Well, could I least have a hug? You have always been my favorite sibling and I just didn’t want to die without a hug.” I mumble out and Klaus gets offended at the favorite sibling comment.
Five rolls his eyes, “well who is being all loving now.” He says but still returns my hug.
Klaus gets jealous instantly and joins the hug “I want in on this!”
Allison smiles at Klaus’s antics and joins the hug, Diego rolls his eyes at all of us but still joins. Luther smiles and tries to join the hug to the best of his ability well carrying Viktor.
Five shakes his head “You guys are ridiculous. Now how is ready to save the world again?”

Not saying that Allison anger isn’t valid, or trying to be purposefully dense when it comes to the way emotions work, particularly when you feel like shit but I think it’s pretty obvious that Allison’s behaviour in s3 crossed a line that made her incredibly unlikable (and, realistically, unforgivable)
That being said I really think she should have just sat down, had a few margaritas or whatever and chatted it out with her siblings, or at least some of them, 3 out of 5 of them have been severely fucked over by time travel, and 2 of those involved love. (Now post s3 we can add Luther to the list too, fuck this really is a running theme in this show)
Five literally spent 45 years by himself, stuck in time, was then forced to become an assassin or it really is the rest his life spent alone, he then ends up stuck in his 13 year old body and spends the next 2-3 weeks trying to prevent other apocalypses to protect his family without a break.
Viktor finally found love, love that was not manipulative, or controlling or second best. Real love (Ik his siblings love him but that has a long and complicated history to it that actually links to a lot of his own trauma) made his own little family, and then, just like Allison, had it taken away (and then has what is effectively his son killed)
Klaus, Klaus is clearly the best person to go to, Allison has lost two people to time travel that she loves but Klaus has lost the same person that he loves to time travel twice. They know possibly better than anybody how shit losing someone you love to time travel is and know just how helpless a feeling it is when you just can’t help them, or save them, or even be with them. He literally can talk to the dead and that doesn’t help. And maybe he’s just starting to move on.
I want to say that this isn’t comparing their trauma, especially around time travel, but simply finding similarities in their loses and how having that kind of understanding could have been helpful for Allison, even if was just a shoulder to cry on. I guess Allison, Viktor and Klaus kind of did this in the hair salon in s2, but theirs a difference in being miserable in anticipation for what your about to lose and actually losing it.
