Thank you so much for the part 2 of the shapeshifter AU! 🙏 The atmosphere is so singularly spooky and sultry. Keep up the great work!
on it boss!!
70 / 1.6k / part 3 of shapeshifter familiars!141 tormenting witch!reader
...
You wait until the early evening. It's the earliest you can run. Your so-called familiars won't come out while the sky is still bright. Even so, the moon’s faint sliver stands faintly visible against the sky. You pack your things and fetch your traveling cloak. Vital components. Your dagger. Scrying parchment. You've survived on less.
Something catches your eye as you open the door. The setting sun gleams off the little glass vial on your hearth. You grab it. It's the thing Soap left—what he was teasing you about; the "little treat" he brought back. You see now what it is: black henbane. Your heart beats faster. Out of anger or anticipation—you're not sure which wins out. You'll certainly make use of this. But it will be despite your demons. Not because of them.
As you set off to leave, though, you find yourself face-to-face with a different threat altogether: townsfolk with torches and pitchforks.
The mob's torches flicker, casting jagged shadows across their grim faces. Their leader, a broad-shouldered blacksmith with soot-stained hands, steps forward. The pitchfork trembles in his harsh grip. "Off to consort with devils, witch?"
Behind him, a farmer's wife spits at your feet. "My boy hasn't slept since your cursed raven perched on our roof! You sent those monsters to torment us!"
A ripple of agreement surges through the crowd. You catch the glint of silver amulets around their throats—crude charms of rowan berries and iron nails. Your designs.
"I don't want any trouble," you tell them. You already intend to leave this place forever; all you need to do is convince them to let you go in peace. "I swear it. I condemn the demons that plague the village just as you do."
The blacksmith's shout cracks like a whip. "Liar!" He thrusts his pitchfork toward your cottage and the crow feathers littering the threshold. "Found your nest o' nightmares. Bones under the floorboards. Charms written in your hand guidin' those beasts!"
A teenage boy hurls a rock. It grazes your temple with a thump that rings in your skull. "She fed my sister to the black dog! Saw its yellow eyes in her window the night she vanished!"
Then a torch arcs through the dusk. It crashes against your doorframe, tallow and embers cascading onto dry thatch. The farmer's wife screams, "Burn the hellspawn out!"
Other voices roar in agreement. The mob surges forward as one. Their amulets glow faintly as they near your wards, rowan countering rowan.
You slam the door shut, scattering glowing red hay, and bolt for the back door instead. You flee toward the forest. Warm blood slides down your face and trickles into your collar. You crash through the tree line. Brambles tear your cloak. Torchlight dances between birches behind you. They’re gaining.
"Kill her before she calls the beasts!" one voice shrieks.
Another voice, a child’s, cries, “There! By the elder tree!”
Your boot catches on its massive roots. You hit the forest floor hard. Pine needles stick to your bleeding palms as you scramble up—and freeze.
Yellow eyes blink open in the shadows ahead. A wolf.
The blacksmith’s heavy gait clatters to a halt. “Christ preserve us.”
The hound steps into the fading daylight, scars rippling across its muscular flank. Ghost. He bares teeth longer than your fingers.
You back away only for another shadow to fall from the trees above and land next to you soundlessly. The shape is feline—Gaz—but he's no longer the size of a housecat. He's as massive as a tiger. A growl thunders through him. He levels his gaze past you. At the villagers. They don't stand a chance.
You whirl back on the villagers with wild eyes. "Get out of here!" you cry at the mob.
The blacksmith shoves a trembling boy behind him. "Back! Back to the—"
Ghost lunges. Not at the villagers. At you.
His jaws snap inches from your thigh, herding you backward into Gaz's flank. Gaz pins you with one paw on your chest. He keeps his claws sheathed, but the pressure is enough to bruise. His rumbling purr vibrates through your ribs as he licks blood from your temple wound.
"Demons!" A villager hurls a torch. It bounces off Ghost's shoulder. Embers catch in his fur. He doesn't flinch.
Soap's cawing laughter rings from the treetops. He drops down as a raven, shifting mid-fall into human form. He lands in a crouch. "Och, look at these brave lads! Come to play with the big bad devils."
The blacksmith thrusts the pitchfork at him. "Back!"
Soap catches the shaft and yanks the smith forward. "Careful now. You'll poke someone's—" He drives the smith’s own weapon through his boot, impaling foot to soil. "—eyes out."
Screams erupt. The mob fractures. Some flee. Others stand frozen.
"No, don't hurt them!" you gasp out. You try to push out from under Gaz's paw, but it does you no good. "Leave them alone!"
Gaz's purr deepens into a predatory rumble as he drags his rough tongue up the side of your neck to taste your sweat. His hot breath stirs your hair when he growls, "Too late for mercy, love. Smell the fear on 'em? Ripe as summer fruit."
Soap wrenches the pitchfork free from the smith’s screaming form, flicking gore off the tines. "Aye, let's make it a proper feast! Been ages since we had fresh meat that fought back."
"Enough."
Price's voice cracks through the woods like thunder. He stands under the pines’ shadow as if waiting for the last motes of sunset to vanish before he ventures out.
"You lot should've heeded the warnings. Salt your thresholds. Avoid the woods after dark." His gazes pauses over a young child frozen in fear, no parents in sight. He tuts. "But you meddled. Stole from my witch. Harmed her."
The blacksmith finds his voice. "W-We didn't—"
Price steps forward. His boot crushes the smith’s bloodied foot into the ground. Bones pop. "See, that's the trouble with mortals." He crouches to stare into the terrified villager’s face. "You don’t admit you’re wrong."
"Price, please, just take me instead," you plead. "I'm what you came for, aren't I?"
Price's gaze snaps to you. He rises slowly. The flicker of your burning cottage on the horizon behind you reflects in his eyes and makes them glow. His expression tells you how little choice you have in that particular matter. Where you go, they go.
Then he looks past you. “Gaz."
Gaz’s hand slides up your inner thigh. "Already on it."
"No. Save the foreplay. We've got a village to raze." He grabs the bloodied collar of your cloak and hauls you to your feet. "You'll watch. Then we'll discuss your ungrateful actions." His gaze flicks away. "Ghost. Gaz. Clean up."
You can only watch Ghost and Gaz bound into the screaming mob. Your body feels lighter than the air. Then you remember the weight of the henbane in your cloak pocket. The next moment, it's in your hand. You crush the glass, ignoring the stab of pain. You send it sailing through the air, and it lands right on its mark—the roaring torch discarded in the leaf litter.
The henbane catches and wafts up into the air as smoke. It curls upward in thick, narcotic tendrils. The smell is heady, its effect potent and immediate. Soap snarls as the first plume hits his nostrils. He staggers back and clutches his head. Gaz convulses mid-pounce, collapsing into ferns as his tiger-like form shrinks to housecat size. Ghost whines low in his throat and shakes his massive skull like a dog with water in its ears.
Chaos erupts. Villagers seize the chance to bolt. The blacksmith drags his wailing son toward the tree line.
Price grips your arm hard enough to leave talon marks. His other hand clamps over his nose, veins bulging in his temple. You cough into your sleeve. Your vision swims. Henbane's poison works both ways, after all. It’s powerful for those who know how to use it for their own ends. Black henbane is what you used to summon your familiars and what bound them to you. But its hallucinatory effects are more pronounced on those who have surrendered the greater part of their souls to magic—or for those whose bodies are already flush with it. Price, Gaz, Ghost, and Soap don’t stand a chance. Even your soul is so considerably marked by witchcraft that you quickly fold to its effects. But you, at least, can twist it and warp it to weave a spell that might protect you.
Cloaked in smoke, you transform.
The shift hits you like a lightning strike—bones crackling, muscles twisting, vision narrowing into a something wide and preylike. The forest tilts, and suddenly Price's grip is gone. He holds your sleeve, but not you. You slip away, tumble through your limp clothes, and hit the forest floor on four paws. The world sharpens into smells of damp moss and wolf musk. Your rabbit heart hammers against ribs as thin as wishbones.
You dart left--straight into Gaz's waiting claws. The tomcat pins you with a paw, purring as his claws prick your scruff. Then he sneezes, henbane pollen glinting in his whiskers. You writhe free.
You race deeper into the forest with the wind at your back. The woods close in, but thorns no longer claw your clothes; roots no longer trip you. You are no longer an intruder. The forest itself turns toward you, opens to you. Thorns tug pleasurably against your fur as you bound past. Old magic stirs beneath your rabbit feet.
"Clever girl. Find her." Price's voice slithers through the trees far behind you, syllables slurred but venom intact. "And keep her whole enough to scream."

WACA x UTMV Design Concepts
Batch 1
honestly have been going through a massive double fixations with utmv and warrior cats... and soo... i've come up with some designs mhehehe
i have some lore for ink, and honestly im thinking of writing some sort of crossover fanfic w/ this cause i think that would be fun!! ^_^
design notes/commentary under the cut!
DESIGN NOTES
Quick disclaimer: these designs are purely conceptual! They may change in the future :-)
HOLLOWSPARK (Ink!Sans)
With Ink's design, I really wanted to include important shapes/motifs in Ink's original design! So triangles, rectangles, etc.
I decided to make them a calico, since the splatters of colors on top of a white base correlated the closest to his OG design. Since male calicos are extremely rare, I decided to make him a trans tom, who goes by he/they!
He's also a Japanese Bobtail, since I believe the shapes & such work best with their character. Hollowspark has strong hind legs with a short tail. He is considered short compared to other average-sized cats.
They have some scars from a past encounter with a monster on the Thunderpath—this will later be explained in his backstory.
ECHOSTORM (Error!Sans)
With Echostorm, I wanted to incorporate strong square shape language. He has scruffy fur, a stocky build, and a short muzzle. He doesn't have a specific breed, but for sure has British Longhair genes!
He's a dark-grey tabby and black cat chimera—the black patches in his fur are meant to represent the errors/glitches in his OG design!
He has a cataract eye; he is blind in it. I thought this was a neat way to translate his white-pupiled squinty eye! His other eye is yellow.
Echostorm has wobbly cat syndrome, to further translate his glitchiness.
DAWNSTAR (Dream)
Dawnstar (formerly Dawnheart) is a tall, lanky oriental longhair. I decided to make his shapes more wispy/softer than his twin brother's, Nightstar! He is a golden tabby.
His eyes are the same shade as blue as Nightstar's. He is meant to embody positivity, calmness, and collectiveness.
The star on his forehead is the mark of a leader! It is not in his design before he is appointed.
NIGHTSTAR (Nightmare)
Nightstar (formerly Nightfall) is a very dark grey tabby oriental longhair. He is much more sharp and angular compared to his twin brother, Dawnstar. I wanted him to come off as villanous.
Half of his face was mauled off, replicating his gooped-over eye in his OG design! He is missing his eye, his ear, and some of his nose.
Unlike Dawnstar, Nightstar does not bore the mark of a leader. He is not a true leader, and never received his nine lives from StarClan. No cat can tell, though, because they believe it's simply disfigured by the scar.
WOO okay i'm done rambling... for now :3 lmk what y'all think of these designs !!! they were very fun to make, and more are to come! any ideas/suggestions are welcome!

and a yellow moon glowed bright
Years later, when Ivypool herself is only a memory and before she’s completely lost to time, she’ll look over ThunderClan, wherever they might be, and still look for her daughter in every face.
The stories have it wrong already, and the truth will be dust before long. Bristlefrost isn’t alive in their memories. She’s twice-dead, drowned in black, choking water, a light snuffed out too soon. Bristlefrost was the prodigy — the daughter cats dreamed of, the first to find her voice and her paws, the leader of her siblings, the apprentice who did not graduate even earlier than she did because there was no prey in the forest to be found, not because of any failings on her part.
Cats starved, that long winter. Not Bristlefrost. Never her daughter, her clever, resourceful last-born. And she had once occupied this spot, designated for deputies, even though she’d never had an apprentice of her own. Would never have an apprentice of her own, now, even though she deserved it more than anything. Even though she’d deserved to stay deputy, but had given the role over with a smile, no hint of dark ambition in her gaze.
Ivypool steps into the deputy position under a brand-new leader with a whisper instead of a bang, the pounding of blood in her ears the only reminder that cats had been here before — that cats had died here before, and that Bramblestar’s first deputy becoming leader was a fluke, an odd quirk of fate. It hasn’t been done in living memory, nor long before that. Leaders do not usually step down, and when they do, they rarely stay with their Clan, or even within reach of their territory. First deputies do not often become leaders in turn. Usually this event is a bittersweet one, with a body or bodies laid out in the clearing, their eyes closed swiftly to avoid the rigor of after-death, but this is almost-peaceful, with only the murmurs of those who could not easily accept change as detractors.
Ivypool will die long before Squirrelstar. She’s—surprisingly okay with this, but she thinks she’s been at peace with her death since before Hollyleaf had stepped between her and a deathblow from one of the only friends she’d ever had.
(“You were my friend!” Ivypool screams in her worst nightmares, Hollyleaf’s blood dripping from her pelt.
“I was never anyone’s friend,” Hawkfrost murmurs in return, something aching-sad in his voice, Hollyleaf’s lifeless form pinned under his claws. “I was born to what I am. We’re the same, you and I.” He pushes the black cat away from his paws with disgust — not for the body, but for Ivypool herself. Blood bubbles from the horrible wound at the corpse’s throat. “She should have been the one,” he says sometimes, in the ones that shatter her already pieced-together heart. “She died in your place.”
“I know,” Ivypool says, and she does know — she knows it more than anyone else alive.)
“It should have been Hollyleaf,” she says to Squirrelstar, quietly, at the end of one of their dusk meetings.
Sorrow flashes in Squirrelstar’s gaze, but it’s buried as soon as it comes. “It’s you,” she says. “It has always been you.”
It is not a truth — not in the way Ivypool remembers them from her childhood — but it is not a lie, either. Hollyleaf chose her, in the way dying deputies might choose their successor. She is always an echo of another cat burned by starlight. It is a comfort, sometimes. In others, she begs the spirit who’d saved her life for mercy, for clemency, until she runs out of breath.
(“I’ll find her,” whispers a voice Ivypool had almost forgotten, in dreams she forgets as soon as she wakes. “I’ll walk the skies ceaselessly, I promise you.”
But there is no bringing Bristlefrost back, and a part of Ivypool has died with her.)
When Ivypool wakes, her Clanmates breathe around her, steadying her rabbit-quick heart. Fernsong’s tail wraps snugly around her flank, Thriftear curled only one nest behind, and she does not lose her breath at the way Flipclaw’s dark tabby stripes curl over his spine. She hasn’t in a long time, she knows, but the impulse is there, sharp as ice underneath her ribs.
(She’d once thought his brown tabby pelt a punishment from the stars. She loves her son, would give her life for him, but the feeling that StarClan may have meted some punishment down in the shade of his pelt remains long after he’s received his warrior name.
She’d begged Bramblestar to give him a suffix that was as unassumingly kind and silly as her son always was. Instead he’d given him -claw, as if to remind her of her failings. She is not sorry to see his form slip into the elders’ den, bereft of the nine lives he’d once so jealously hoarded.)
#ivypool#thunderclan#bristlefrost#squirrelflight#squirrelstar#brambleclaw#bramblestar#flipclaw#thriftear#fernsong#waca#warrior cats#wc#wc fic#thunder spoilers#ivypool's heart#i wrote this a while back and then the erins punched me through a brick wall with that super edition announcement#and i have to wonder if they're using 'heart' because they're trying to erase the OTHER 'heart'#which. yeah. yeah.#crazy how that works#work in progress#if they fridged a woman to fridge another woman i'm going to riot

lila is irresponsible and needs to discipline her son better because lets be real. whos fault is it that skid keeps thinking its ok to disrespect adults and run off on his own. at the same time lila has been going through absolute hell and i genuinely do not understand how anyone thinks she could be able to raise skid by herself. she lives in Nightmare Land. this is a town possibly founded by a cult. like. listen ok this is everything thats happened from her perspective
-her husband and love of her life dies and she is inconsolable. assuming her husband didnt allow her or skid to be outside on their own, she lets skid experience his first taste of freedom at the candy store
-skid and pump are outside avoiding the danger of the two thieves and return home perfectly fine, saying they saw the stars
-lila keeps skid away from the rat and is later attacked by a demon. skid returns home unscathed with a toy and the demon is "defeated"
-skid is sent to mr wonders house, and assumes hes stayed at his house the entire time she was gone, since susie told her nothing. she successfully protects skid and pump from the doll and no longer deems it a threat
-lila missed the news that bob velseb escaped from prison, therefore assuming that its safe for skid to be outside on his own. there are also many kids walking outside by themselves already, not just lilas. its only after a direct confrontation with bob that she runs off on her own to find skid and bring him home safely
-her house is broken into again even with a newly installed alert system, and trusts jaune to take her out to drink to cope with the stress. she still assumes susie and mr wonder are capable of taking care of skid. when she comes home, shes told off for being irresponsible and receives little to no elaboration or sympathy
what lila needs to recognize is that her son is very likely getting into dangerous situations without her knowledge. she doesnt need to know what happened, just needs to see that there might be a pattern. skid is physically and mentally healthy, yes, but its a precaution she needs to take. she can track him on his phone or find the time to take him and pump places on her own. and im not gonna judge her too harshly yet for leaving him alone in episode 7 (presumably) because i dont think this is something people will get right on the first try. skid himself mightve fallen back into old habits and snuck off, who knows. lila clearly loves and cares for her son. like an Incredible amount, but she needs to stop thinking that letting him outside on his own or with other kids is safe. if it was fine before, its not fine now. this needs to be clear to her. if only a certain yellow themed individual showed concern for her friends son and not just his mother. i dont know, im not a drinking buddy
its not just her thinking this, jaune does this with her own kid, ross. carmen does this with roy, she doesnt seem worried one bit about roy being on his own, her only concern is who he hangs out with. as for susie? even though shes a teen, shes more concerned for what their grandpa will think. mr wonder himself doesnt have any idea what pump is doing outside either. this responsibility falls on a majority of the town, and its scary that lila, who has the closest ties to the actual cult leader influencing their livelihoods, has fallen victim to the same irresponsible parenting habits
mayor evermore is a heavy influence, too. hes already convinced the citizens into believing the town is just slightly more safe by removing gun rights and restricting them only to the police force. and as for the police force? evermore was 100% willing to replace jack and john with two incompetent nutjobs, fully believing them to be unable to get rid of a serial killer in less than 24 hours, as if he didnt want them to be successful. thats Such a horrible decision to make, and i cannot see this benefiting the townsfolk at all. i dont know, im not a mayor
you know what, there Was an actual responsible adult who looked over skid and pump and made sure they were safe, following them and disciplining them over the many dangers and warning signs they overlooked. you know what happened to him? he got indoctrinated by the cult overseeing the entire town. its because hes a priest posing a threat to their own religion, but its still telling that the only adult who was able to convince skid and pump to be more responsible and look out for themselves, was heavily reprimanded for it. and who knows, pumps parents couldve been responsible themselves, but we all know they were forcibly separated from him and susie, leaving them under the care of their grandpa who already needs his own separate help. i cant assume theres a pattern, but its still strange
etc etc not only is lila struggling to be a responsible mother but this stupid cult town is making her and her friends actively worse parents by tricking them into thinking their kids are in zero danger. all these missing kids posters, and somehow theyre still convinced their children will return home safe and sound. they cant all seriously be that stupid. this isnt derogatory im seriously concerned for these people. what are they being told on the news. maybe if lila learns to be responsible, itll break the cycle and help her friends and her friends friends be better themselves or something. i feel like these citizens are being left in the dark about whats Truly happening. i dont know, im not a parent

Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 Thoughts (Spoilers!)
Who stayed up till 1:30 am trembling in her blanket and continued to do so the whole morning for the new Poppy Playtime Chapter? Me!
So here are my thoughts and a few theories before the freshness washes off
(also disclaimer, I didn't actually play the game because I am by no means a gamer and way too much of a scaredy-cat to actually play it, this is based on the play-throughs I watched)
Thoughts
Monsters/Bosses:
Yarnaby:
Big kitty. Seriously though I feel like he's kind of standard for a poppy mid-level boss.
Pianosaurus:
Now some say that he was wasted but honestly I don't think so? All things considered I don't think he was hyped up all that much: he had one distorted image in the ARG and one jingle with not much actual information on the bigger-body. So truthfully speaking, I think the twist of having him be so quickly and suddenly destroyed by Doey was really successful, I for sure did not see it coming at all.
Nightmare Critters:
Okay as someone who really grew to love the smiling critters, the nightmare critters' very concept confused me. Like I don't dislike it, I'm just confused, like what is the in-game reason for their existence? I really think they wanted to reuse the mini-smiling critters concept from chapter three, but since the smiling critters in Chapter 4 are children refugees in Safe Haven, to make a distinction they created the nightmare critters. Defintiely annoying little pests though, which means they're fulfilling their purpose quite well.
The Doctor:
I was wondering if they were gonna re-use the weeping angels mechanism from Miss Delight because when I watched the trailer I couldn't think of anything else, but turns out they're traffic light systems but reverse: yellow means the minion is going to move, and red means it is moving. The VA acting is absolutely on point, so all the applause to Baldwin, but game play wise I... honestly feel it's a little underwhelming? It's all very confusing and a lot of brute forcing, and truthfully speaking to have this villain that was built up for so long, second to the prototype get destroy fairly quickly, felt... too easy for such a horrendous character. I still don't understand with what intention is he and prototype collaborating. I also feel like the stuff in the ARG about Sawyer's backstory didn't really pay off?
Doey:
OH GODS I CRIED SO MUCH I COULD WRITE A WHOLE POST ABOUT DOEY ALONE. I knew he was gonna be a twist/final boss in someway just because of how he was marketed, but oh my God, I wasn't prepared for how tragic this was. I think it is the oldest sister/eldest daughter in me, seeing Doey try so damn hard to be a leader to wayward children, trying so hard to manage and protect everyone, that's something I understand and sympathise with. The oldest part of him was only 15 when the hour of joy happened! The tape of him talking to himself, giving himself a reminder to keep holding on and protecting kids, God that broke my heart. I was sobbing and muttering "it's okay... you did great... you can rest now... you can go see your mommy and daddy and friends now" when he died.
I think the two facts that make this even more tragic is that the other completely sympathetic character, Dog Day (still my favourite best boi), bad things was inflicted on him. Even Dog Day as a boss, that wasn't his choice, he didn't have one. Doey on the other hand, it was self-inflicted: I can't say him going beserk was a choice per se, emotions are complicated, but he was the responsible one. This pain was self-inflicted, and unlike Dog Day, could have been avoided.
Which brings me to my second point: for Doey (so I have to emphasise, this is in NO WAY a comment on actual DID systems, and boy do I have thoughts on that), in one of the VHS tape, the scientist remarked that one of the kids that made him up: Kevin Barnes, was erratic and aggressive, and could pose a danger if included in the experiment. He ended up being included because Sawyer demanded it and "The Doctor's word is law". This means if Kevin wasn't included in Doey, if it was just Jack and Matthew, then Doey wouldn't have that insane breakdown. He would be sad, he would feel guilty, yes, but all of those are the average human emotions experienced in a situation like this, and it wouldn't have been so destructive. HE COULD HAVE SURVIVED. In his insane monster form, we can literally see the three kids in the monster's mouth, two of them frowning and one of them angry, the two sad kids trying to hold the mad one back. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED.
Anyways, I love the guy. I'll be drawing and mourning him. Sleep well buddy, you can rest now.
Plot and Lore:
Riley made me cry so much too. God, what a kid, trying to help, even a single soul till the very, very end. Sleep well kiddo. You did so well, and you're with your mom and dad now.
Also the way she described being turnd into a bigger-body, I wanted to throw up. Props to the writers for doing such a good job on that.
Oh the excited shout I let out when I saw the tape with Bigger Bodies Hoppy! So we know that there are more Bigger Bodies Smiling Critters that survived past the experiments and the hour of joy. But then I remembered that Dog Day said he was the last of the smiling critters and got sad, whoever Hoppy is, at this point in the story, she's gone :(
The omni-hand confuses me storywise: it's just a keycard equivalent?
Kissy Missy!!!! (that's it, I just love her)
I called three things: Poppy being Elliot's daughter, Ollie being the prototype, and Huggy still being alive. Granted a lot of people called it too, these are just the theories I believed in that turned out to be true
THERE ARE SO MANY DEAD BODIES AND EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM WAS A CHILD BEFORE I WANT TO SCREAM ABOUT THIS THIS IS AWFUL
The player is shaking in idle. That is some details. Also this person is gonna be triple traumatised.
I don't think Poppy is evil per se, but I think she is very selfish and self-centred, in the sense that she believes that she is the one with all the answers. I wonder how much did Elliot Ludwig spoil her. Also, bitch, she ditched us again.
Theories and Questions
In the Hoppy VHS, she mentioned she got jumped while trying to get supplies: jumped by what and who?
What the hell is the deal with Stella Greyber's change of heart in joining the executives on the bigger-bodies initiatives? Her change of heart is so sudden and so illogical?
It's one thing for Poppy to believe in Ollie. But Doey knowing and believing in Ollie too? How many people did he fool?
Also given that Ollie is the prototype, was his "HE'S OUTSIDE" that led to Doey going out and leaving safe haven a distraction?
I think the prototype is also an amalgamation, and one of the identities is Elliot Ludwig. It's final speech to Poppy, telling her to "come home" sound pretty in line with an evil father figure, and my sister pointed out if you removed the "T", "Elliot" is an anagram for "Ollie".
What is the prototypes agenda at this point? It's willing to collaborate with the doctor, the very person that started all this hellfire. It doesn't care about the children's lives seeing as he bombed Safe Haven, killing everyone inside. It's whole "burn it all down" idea actually echoes Poppy's agenda, but Poppy sounds genuinely shocked and scared to learn that Ollie is the prototype. What the hell is going on?
Who is Kissy? The bigger-body Kissy Missy that's been our companion for the past two chapters. Game Theory had their theory that it was Patty Hall, but I'm... starting to think it was Stella? We don't know Kissy's experiment number, and I don't think we have any info on Stella's status during the hour of joy, so it's not impossible. It's just... their... attitudes, for a lack of better words, seem to align.
Leith Pierre is out there somewhere, we know he survived since he's in project playtime, but where the hell is he now? He is a bigger player in this scheme than he lets one. I don't believe he's not gonna make an appearance in the future.
What the hell is Rich's deal? So turns out he's one of the more likeable higher-ups? And he's the head of shipping? What is up with his change in attitude from moody aggressive guy to the dad friend/supervisor?
There's this one mystery from Chapter two that still hasn't been solved: there were slides with plates of each department's head's name and one was missing: we still don't know who that could be.
I truly think at the very least for this storyline, the next chapter is the last. The doctor was the second greatest villain and now he's dead. Additionally, we came into direct contact with the prototype, so from a storytelling perspective, the next chapter has to be the last stand. I don't believe this will be the end of the poppy playtime universe though.
Conclusion/Overall Comment on the Chapter:
I liked the chapter, but I think the problem is that unlike the previous chapters that felt like a constant overall upgrade, this one didn't feel like an improvement (but nor it did feel like a downgrade though). There are aspects of the chapter that definitely improved from that last: the graphics, the gameplay mechanics, the gore making people immediately physically uneasy, and characterisation of both major and minor characters, making us immediately love or hate them in a very short time. But the pacing really felt less enjoyable compared to the last chapter, same with the boss battles. It felt like it dragged too much then rushed too much. The pros and cons kinda cancel each other out, leadings to a net zero.
My favourite is still Chapter three, but I'll give this one a 7.5/10.

THURSDAY HERO: Arieh Oz
Arieh Oz was a child survivor of the Holocaust who was saved by a Dutch family who hid him and his sister for three years. He later became a Lt. Col. in the Israeli Air Force who flew a rescue plane at Entebbe and piloted 1,122 Ethiopian Jews to safety in Operation Solomon.
Arieh was born Harry Klausner to a non-religious Jewish family in Wuppertal, Germany in 1936. The Klausners, like many other Jewish families, were thoroughly assimilated and proud Germans, identifying strongly with German culture and with minimal interest in Judaism. After the Kristallnacht pogrom of 1938, when Jews were murdered and synagogues destroyed throughout Germany and Austria, the Klausners realized there was no future for them in their beloved Germany, and they relocated to Holland, which seemed to be a more tolerant place, although life was far from normal. Harry and his sister Ruth were not allowed to attend school, and they had to wear the yellow star marking them as Jewish wherever they went. Still, life was bearable, until 1942, when the Nazis began arresting Jews and deporting them to concentration camps.
Harry’s parents hurriedly made plans to keep the family safe. With the help of their friend Nel van der Spek, a teacher and leader in the Dutch Resistance, they were introduced to Oepke and Jitske Haitsma, Dutch farmers with three young children, who agreed to take the two Klausner children into their home. Harry’s mother Rosa found a hiding place with another non-Jew, Petronella Ketel, and his father managed to escape Europe and flee to Palestine, then under British rule.
At only six years old, Harry and his sister Ruth, aged twelve, moved in with the Dutch farm family, who were complete strangers and didn’t even speak the same language. The Klausner children learned Dutch, did farmwork, and attended church with their hosts. The Haitsmas barely had enough money to feed their own family, but they shared what little they had with the two Jewish children, and the Hitsma kids were forbidden to have playdates with other children for fear the secret would come out. Once a year, Harry and Ruth were dressed in disguise and taken to visit their mother in her hiding place.
The Nazis were ruthless in searching out Jews, and the Klausner kids hid in a cramped attic during multiple raids by Nazi storm troopers and were never found. For three years they stayed with the heroic Haitsma family, living in constant fear of discovery. In September 1944, Allied forces began to liberate Holland. Eight-year-old Harry, hiding in the attic, heard fighter planes overhead each night, and listened so closely that he was able to distinguish which were German and which belonged to the Allies. As he lay there in the darkness, Harry decided that if he were fortunate enough to survive the war and reach adulthood, he would become a pilot.
The war ended in 1945, and the children’s nightmare came to an end when their mother, who had stayed safe and sound in her hiding place, showed up to retrieve them. In 1946 they traveled to Palestine to reunite with their father, which was nothing short of a miracle considering the fate of most German Jews. Harry later remembered how strange it was to see his father, who felt like a total stranger to him.
Anxious to leave behind all traces of the country that had so cruelly betrayed them, the Klausners changed their name to Oz, and Harry Klausner became Arieh Oz. Once again he had to learn a new language, and started school for the first time at age eleven. It was extremely difficult, but Arieh was strong and resilient, and graduated from high school the third in his class. Now it was time to fulfill his childhood dream, and he was accepted into the elite Israel Air Force Flight School. Arieh proudly earned his pilot’s wings in 1956 and excelled at his chosen career, soon becoming a flight instructor and then a young captain.
In the late 1950’s, the IDF began purchasing jumbo planes to fly long routes, carrying weapons from Europe and providing humanitarian aid to African countries facing famine. They needed someone to command this new fleet, and despite his young age, Arieh was the best man for the job. He was promoted to Lt. Col. Oz, founder of the Israeli Air Force’s International Squadron. He recruited the best pilots in Israel to join his team, and later explained, “We completed many intricate, complex and difficult missions. We had three planes operating every week, two of which flew to France to bring weapons and one of which flew to countries in Africa for aid and assistance.”
After the Six Day War in 1967, Arieh left the IDF and became a pilot for El Al, Israel’s largest airline. In 1972, thirty years after he and Ruth had moved in with the kind-hearted Haitsmas’, Arieh flew the Dutch family to Israel to celebrate his son’s bar mitzvah, and to be honored as Righteous Among the Nations by Israeli Holocaust Memorial Yad Vashem.
Although not on active military duty, Arieh continued to participate in many top-secret and specialized missions. In 1976, terrorists hijacked Air France Flight 139 and forced the pilot to land in Entebbe, Uganda. The 248 passengers were held hostage for two days, after which the non-Jewish hostages were released, leaving 94 Jews stuck on board the plane, repeatedly threatened with death by the vicious terrorists.
To end the crisis, the IDF worked with Israeli intelligence agency Mossad to plan a bold rescue operation. An expert on delicate, dangerous missions, Arieh was chosen as one of four pilots to take down the terrorists and save the hostages. For seven hours, Arieh flew under radar to Entebbe, where the terrorists had cut the lights on the runway and he had to land the aircraft in the darkness. His bravery and calmness under pressure helped save 102 hostages and kill the terrorists. Sadly, three hostages lost their lives, along with an IDF commander, Lt. Col. Yoni Netanyahu, brother of the current Israeli prime minister.
In 1991, Arieh was selected to lead another, very different, mission of heroism. He was a pilot of Operation Solomon, a covert Israeli military operation to airlift thousands of Ethiopian Jews, suffering from grinding poverty and religious persecution, to the Jewish homeland. He later recalled, “I flew a Jumbo 747 aircraft – the first 747 ever to land in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. You won’t believe it but I brought, on one plane, 1,087 Ethiopian Jews to Israel.” The number was later revised to 1,122, because some of the Ethiopian mothers, still wary of the Israelis and not knowing what to expect, hid young children in their clothing and bags. The flight holds the Guinness World Record for most passengers ever carried by a commercial airline.
Arieh retired from El Al in 2001 with 28,000 flight hours, andd then served as aviation consultant and accident investigator for the Israeli Ministry of Transport. He published his autobiography, “Quest for Freedom,” in 2014. Arieh lives in Ramat Hasharon, Israel, with his wife of over sixty years, Bat-sheva. They have three children and seven grandchildren.
For their heroic actions in saving persecuted Jews, we honor Arieh Oz and Oepke & Jitske Haitsma as this week’s Thursday Heroes.

TFA angsty idea
Optimus wakes up in his hab in a panic. The blue and red mech looks around his room taking deep breaths not noticing the sound of running footsteps getting closer. Suddenly Ratchet barged into the room almost taking the door off its hinges, the medic heard Optimus screamed and assumed the worst had happened.
Once the grouchy medic gets Optimus to calm down they being talking for a while, turns out the Prime had a nightmare of watching his team being taken away by Autotroopers all the while Ultra Magnus gave a disapproving glare at Optimus. Once his friends were taken away Optimus then suddenly found himself in front of the council being judged again, this time they are less merciful sealing the young Prime's fate. Ratchet simply nods along while handing the red and blue mech some energon while he continues to comfort the mech.
While his team leader and adoptive sire quietly weeps into Ratchet's shoulders, Bumblebee stood out in the hall have being woken due to the commotion. The yellow bot overheard everything and Bee feels guilty for never taking anything serious now knowing the burden Optimus carries on his shoulders...he hopes he can make it up to him someday.
Aww poor optimus & bee.
Poor ratchet, he probably thought they were getting ambushed and he might have gotten flash backs while running to check on optimus.
Bee probably does almost everything asked of him now and actually listens which does improve things by a lot and he feels guiltier. He won’t say what brought on this change but he doesn’t give them a hard time anymore.

~ GSA members with Magical Wings ╰(*´︶`*)╯💫🌟Prepare for lots of headcanons of them on this post hehe here goes :)
🌟Sir Arthur has electric magic he can create magic wings with his magic same with the other GSA members but each of them have a different element ^^ He’s really speedy with them. Arthur is quite strict since he’s leader, he’s also caring as well. But sometimes Meta Knight has trust issues with him after some point after the fall of the war. Meta is the one who mostly disobeys his orders sometimes xD he will most likely listen to Sir Falspar and Sir Dragato cuz they were there for him whenever he needs it ;w; and Sir Arthur wasn’t due to being too busy with being leader, ships, armies and stuff.
💎Sir Nonsurat has diamond/rock based magical wings. Has earth based magic. He has a new visor they make his eyes appear green. Since Nonsurat’s wings are made of rock, Galacta Knight will have a pain fighting him cuz of his heavy rock wings. It doesn’t bother Nonsurat at all. Nonsurat met Arthur since they were little they were close friends ever since. They both found a smol blue puffball, Meta Knight during a dark storm one day. Yes I headcanon Meta Knight being a creation of Nightmare. Arthur, Nonsurat are the ones who find him all lost ;0; Arthur found little Meta near NME’s labs base and decided to take him back to his ship. Meta Knight was well hidden in the GSA base. Nightmare spent a while searching for Meta but than eventually gave up..
🌊Sir Dragato has water magic and water wings. He’s a bit uptight but he’s friendly <3 Dragato knows lots about ships parts and engineering he and Falspar never met until both of them got recruited at the GSA. Dragato is also a fashion designer his favorite thing to design is capes mostly. Their both really close friends. ;w; He and Falspar were the ones who first found out about Meta Knight’s wings.
🔥Sir Falspar he has fire magic and fiery wings. Sometimes his hair changes color like the pink, orange, blue, and yellow flames :) or whenever he’s feeling a lot of emotions. Even tho he looks angy on this drawing he’s the “friendly” one in the group I promise xD Like Dragato he knows lots of spaceships how they work etc.

More pjo/hoo headcanons
Apollo kids exclusively work out with musics as a cabin, but they always argue about the playlist that should be chosen. Will uses councillor privilege to force them to pick country.
The Athena cabin has a projector for sure
Also, they have youtube premium because of lofi music
Apollo kids have been banned from using guns in training with others (they recreated the ten duel commandments from Hamilton and actually ended up shooting without missing the target. Now, they can only shoot on regular targets, not living ones)
Hephaestus and Athena kids are a living proof of the "an architect's dream is an engineer's nightmare" thing
There is definitely an Athena kid out there that hates math with a burning passion. Their mom isn't very happy about that.
Despite their rivalry, many Apollo kids have Ares cabin bffs - after all, they spend lots of time in the infirmary
Ares kids usually have a great relationship with their father - he is surprisingly encouraging and supportive
Will can definitely ride a horse and you can't convince me otherwise
Also. His mom has a yellow pickup truck with tons of stickers and a guitar on the backseat
Sally refused to use the subway ever since Percy was born (you know how the underground always smells like monsters and that's why Grover didn't notice the chimera? That was exactly why)
Percy used to cry in the seafood section of stores, especially if it had anything living there
Athena kids can achieve Eminem speed during debate, I will not elaborate any further
Oh also. They're not straight As kids, or at least not all of them, especially the older ones. I mean, the school system vs learning disorders? There's no way they're winning that fight entirely. They probably have the subjects they like and ace, and then the subject that are just there, and since they're not failing, they don't really care (yes this is about me getting a C from physics again, I hate physics)
Annabeth loves the "further is for physical distance, farther for metaphorical and father for emotional" tumblr post
Hera's cabin has a family portrait of the olympians, it's quite a bittersweet sight
Let Demeter kids have a scythe as their weapon of choice pls
Athena kids make so many lame nerd puns. Occasionally, a Hephaestus kid or a secret nerd will laugh.
Athena kids are definitely the type to fight the teacher about their grade. They will gather evidence that their answer is technically correct and either impress or annoy the teacher so much they will actually change their grade
All Athena kids have a resting bitch face (just like Hermes kids have a face that says they're troublemakers)
Hermes kids are naturally skilled at orientation on a map and in terrain
Hephaestus and Hermes cabin have once held a lock-picking competition (based on speed but also the amount of damage caused)
Every single person in the Athena cabin has seen both Dead Poets Society and School of Rock (and loved it)
For an absolutely nonexistent reason I think the Aphrodite cabin has some pro tip for washing blood out of clothes and stuff
Very stereotypical of me but in the Ares cabin, the strongest is the leader and their word is law, if you disagree, you gotta participate in a one on one fight of choice (it doesn't matter that much if you win, at least you still prove your bravery and the courage to stand up for what you believe in). Meanwhile, the Athena cabin votes on everything. And yes, they are proud of it. And yes, they have senate level debates where everyone uses whatever dirt they have on the others to win (because they probably know too much gossip without even really intending to) sometimes. Only sometimes.
Also. They have ostrakism which is basically a thing where you break a pot/vase/something, each person gets a piece and carves on the name of someone who is endangering democracy in their option. The person with the most votes gets chased out I think. Athena kids have changed up that part, they simply ban that person from voting for 6 months.
Athena kids with learning disorders. That's all I want to say.
Mentioning my previous 'Athena cabin has a Pallas cat' headcanon
Also Athena kids are the people who will point out historical stuff behind the names of places or companies (example: my country has a shopping centre called palladium, i instill the lore of the original palladium on anyone unfortunate enough to be there with me)
Apollo kids personalise their instruments - stickers, paint, carved initials, cool straps and other accessories, you name it!
They also have a whole row of those instrument hangers, yk what i mean?

my lucifer headcanons
note: these are just my own head canons. things i’ve noticed, how i write lucifer, what plays into why i write luce the way i do… etc. purely my own opinion.
- i think michael was very fond of his brother
- when the time came though to listen to dad and fulfill his duty or be a brother to lucifer michael chose duty
- the betrayal is still a sore spot for lucifer
- during lucifer’s “youth” he was curious, always dreaming up incredible creations… it was why he was dads favorite.
- he made the star fish, “because the sea deserves its own stars!” and he also made the duck. the ducks first iteration was quite a bit larger… lucifer and god compromised on a smaller duck. (more like god bribed lucifer.)
- he watched adam be made…. so he was always fond of him and lilith… until he fell in love with lilith…
- he didn’t realize it was love
- but michael knew and michael was scared. so he would draw lucifer away from the garden every chance he got
- lucifer was very naive when he was cast down to hell. he knew so much, he had been alive for so long, but there was so much life experience he didn’t have.
- the first few years in hell were horrible…
- he had hope at first
- maybe it all wouldn’t be so bad
- it was really bad. like really bad. the people who came down to hell were unspeakable devils
- (this is based off a fic i read and i can’t find it, if this rings any bells pls let me know the fic name) but lucifer is continuously appalled and distraught by the atrocities committed in his name.
- it’s one of the reasons he so powerful. he has the angelic power but also the power from those who worship him and make sacrifices for him
he really hates it. a lot. makes him feel no better than the worse overlord (cough alastor cough)
- charlie has no idea and she’ll never know if he can help it
- lucifer smells like apples and vanilla musk, a hint of cinnamon and something floral or citrusy.
- the floral or citrus changes depending on his mood
- he has a huge library. he actually pops up to earth with Asmodeous sometimes and takes books.
- he saved the whole Library of Alexandria’s books before it burned down
- he’s great friends with all the sins
- arguably closest with Beelzebub and Asmodeous
- he loves claw machines. the lights, the sounds, the prize winning???? he’s so fucking happy
- he actually wears glasses to read. he doesn’t need them but he says they make him look smarter.
- is actually a pretty good leader, is not nearly as forgiving as charlie is, but he’s not inherently cruel
- his third favorite color is pink
- his first and second are yellow and red, obviously
- he has expensive ass, maximalist taste.
- he doesn’t use tech because he knows what vox does to said tech.
- he’s always wanted a dog
- he’s very touchy. shows love physically. is only this way if he likes you though
- he has nightmares almost every night
- coffee addict
- because after not sleeping he wakes up looking like death warmed over
- and that’s if he didn’t forget to eat the past few days except for random snacks and didn’t do a 48 hour blitz of staying up working on ducks or the bit of kingdom shit he does.
- he has a handful of servants who he trusts and they are the only one in the house. there’s no team. nothing like that. he keeps it very close
- this was after someone who was a servant tried to throw an angelic dagger at his head because really they wanted to kill him and thought working for him would get them close enough.
- he homeschooled charlie. he knows a lot of stuff and even knew the guy who created calculus!

Lore Dive: StarClan and The Iris
[Image ID: A modified/edited image of official StarClan art by Wayne McLoughlin in the top left corner, and a screenshot of the Iris from the web series "Gemini Home Entertainment" by Remy Abode in the bottom right. Some visual elements have been tweaked, like additional stars dotting StarClan's artwork, and some red and yellow lights and lines around the Iris. End ID] StarClan are significantly more benevolent in ForestClan's universe than malevolent. However, they are also limited in their ability to influence the living world in comparison to their canon counterpart. StarClan often meets difficulty in being able to communicate freely and safely with ForestClan. Ultimately, both StarClan and the world of the living have one singular, ultimate enemy, one that poses an existential threat to not just cat-kind, but the entire world: the Iris.
This lore dive will be split into 3 parts - I will explain the goals and abilities of the Iris, those of StarClan, and finally a timeline of events for the ongoing conflict between both.
THE IRIS
Those who have read my blog description should already be aware, but for the uninitiated: ForestClan is, in essence, a crossover fanfic with Clangen prompts as inspiration. ForestClan's universe exists inside the analog horror web series "Gemini Home Entertainment" (GHE for short) by Remy Abode. The Iris is an eldritch entity directly from GHE. Just like in its home series, it's a living, actively malevolent planet that has very powerful abilities that affect life on Earth - even as it's slowly consuming Neptune and Saturn, several billions of miles away from us.
The Iris' goal is to mutate and transform all the planets in our solar system. It is slowly approaching Earth, and planning to terraform it for unknown purposes. Whatever those purposes are do not involve the continued existence of life on Earth.
The Iris is the source of the Deep Root entities (Woodcrawlers, Nature's Mockery, etc.) that are invading ForestClan's territory and its surrounding borders - known to humans as Moonlight Acres Camp. Despite being the source, the Iris does not have direct control of them. Deep Root entities are alien animals and viruses. In the end, the entities just want to eat, grow, spread their territory and continue their life cycles, like any other animal. The Iris can use the power of suggestion to influence these creatures, much like StarClan can offer guidance to ForestClan.
The Iris exerts this power of suggestion through electromagnetic radiation waves, like all planets and stars emit naturally - but with directional intent. With this, it interferes with the dreams of any sentient being capable of having them, with its primary focus being humanity. It is capable of injecting images and visions that lull them into being more malleable to its goals. It is also capable of interfering with human radio waves and signal broadcasts, but those are less relevant to ForestClan.
Its primary targets of interest are humans first, cats second. StarClan is utterly terrified of it regardless of its secondary interest in cats.
After all, several cats have had nightmares about "maws" and "unhinged jaws" featuring a massive, yellow moon.
STARCLAN
Just like in its canon media, StarClan are the warrior ancestors of ForestClan and of the four extinct Clans. Their goals are to guide and protect ForestClan within the limits of their power, and on a grander scale, protect living cats from being scrutinized by the Iris.
They are not all-knowing or all-seeing, but they gather as much information about the world from their heavenly abode as possible, and share it with leaders and medicine cats. They typically share Woodcrawler locations, new instances of Nature's Mockery, human activity, or dangerous weather conditions approaching. These are tasks limited to regular StarClan cats.
Former leaders and former medicine cats, those with the brightest stars in their pelts, have the more dangerous task of looking beyond their afterlife borders and into our solar system. They track the movement of the Iris, and interrupt its electromagnetic waves with their own 'mimicry waves' their starry pelts emit. This disrupts the Iris' communication attempts, and slows the Iris' approach to Earth.
They can also somewhat direct lightning strikes. They cannot create them from nothing, or control clouds, however. The storm must already be naturally occurring for StarClan to be capable of directing lightning. A thunder storm is seen as a good fortune for ForestClan, especially if they have pregnant or nursing queens.
StarClan can communicate directly without stipulations at the Half-Moon Dome. The Half-Moon Dome is, literally, a dome-shaped object made of aluminum. It is found in the middle of a now-abandoned human storm bunker, near a demolished Twoleg nest. The bunker also contains an old human radio that ForestClan calls "the Silver Box", although it does not seem to serve any purpose. Medicine cats can sleep against the Half-Moon Dome and establish a sole link with StarClan.
StarClan cannot be direct with their messages when medicine cats are away from the aluminum dome. They can provide strange, story-like dreams, visual images, prophecies and omens - but the only reason they remain cryptic is for the safety of the entirety of cat-kind. Due to the Iris' ability to infiltrate and manipulate dreams, it is a very real risk and genuine fear that the Iris will see cats actually communicate complex thoughts and ideas. Prophecies and omens are understood less as an inability for StarClan to be direct, and more of a coded message, to avoid the suspicion from a great, hungry eye that hates consciousness.
StarClan also grants new leaders nine lives, just like in canon, in order to better serve their Clan.
HISTORY OF THE IRIS AND STARCLAN CONFLICT
When the Iris first made contact with Earth in the human year 1935, its sole focus was targeting humanity to feed the effigy it sent there. It didn't know that five Clans of feral cats lived around the abundant, isolated territory of Moonlight Acres camp.
That is, until it finds that something is interfering with its electromagnetic waves. There was a strong background radiation coming from various stars in space. They were pointed directly towards Moonlight Acres camp, intercepting the Iris' own waves, and angering it. In the human year 1946, the Iris found that true stars weren't responsible for this - rather, a facsimile of them were. Invisible energies that mimicked stars were concentrated in the atmosphere above Moonlight Acres. Intrigued, the Iris followed a stray wave towards a creature's dream - and saw two cats staring up at it in horror. One had a pelt filled with stars.
As soon as this event occured, StarClan became aware that the Iris discovered them. With its ability to invade dreams, they were terrified, and didn't know what it was capable of. Out of caution, StarClan went silent with their open communication, choosing to send omens and prophecies in the hope that the medicine cats would go to their communing place. This frightened the medicine cats at the time, as they were not used to such vagueness from their ancestors.
This was a good decision by StarClan, as the Iris' inability to find another starry cat lead to it being suspicious, but not convinced about the intelligence of Clan cats. But its suspicion was enough for the Iris to test their consciousness. It tried the same trick it used on humans: it sent cats strange dreams of cat-like entities. They beckoned the cats to "come and speak with them, make deals with them". These manifested as the "well-groomed cats with fur-less heads".
However, the Iris dropped this testing and refocused its anger when its human puppet tried to sacrifice a bear instead of humans, as agreed. This act resulted in the creation of the Wretch. The Wretch stormed through the woods in search of humans to punish and incorporate into itself, and then stumbled through the Clan camps without thought. The Wretch automatically absorbed flesh - cats were not its target, but it was so large that it was unavoidable.
The Wretch destroyed the ancient Clans, leaving ForestClan as the lone survivor. Since then, StarClan has fought to preserve and protect the cats of ForestClan, and destroy the Iris. This is despite how insurmountable such a task is, or how insignificant cats truly are. After all - forget the Clans, is anywhere and anything truly safe? Knowing what they know now, about this living thing that creates horrifying creatures that can hunt and kill even humans, can they truly have hope? This information is so heavy, that they have one rule, and one rule alone that they enforce on ForestClan's leader and medicine cats. When a leader first attains their nine lives, or when a medicine cat is initiated into apprenticeship, they are revealed the secret about the true nature of the woods: the Iris is responsible for them, and no one knows how to stop it, if it can be stopped at all. The Iris can invade their dreams, and it is vital that no cat is aware of it. Cats must have "normal" cat dreams, to continue to fool the Iris. This is why ForestClan leaders used to be called "secret keepers", and medicine cats used to be called "protectors of secrets".
Throughout history, StarClan have discovered the following:
The Iris is not omnipotent - it must attain its information, one way or another.
The Iris is actively malicious and enjoys inflicting suffering on conscious things. The Iris cannot, under any circumstances, discover that Clan cats are highly intelligent and capable of religion, medicine and complex societies.
The Iris cannot see StarClan fully - only detect the waves their pelts emit. It can also track waves emitted by a brain in REM sleep, when dreams most occur.
The Woodcrawlers and all other creatures of the woods are, fundamentally, animals. They are opportunistic, and perform risk assessments, and do give up if they believe their prey is going to kill them. Cats throughout several generations have had different methods of dealing with the woods' hunger, but StarClan does not support or condemn any methods. They are not gods, they cannot control what ForestClan chooses to do. They can be disappointed and upset, but the Iris is the true enemy.
The Iris CANNOT control or keep tabs on every single monster it has brought to earth. What the monsters know, the Iris doesn't necessarily know. It just trusts the aliens to do as much damage as possible.
As of right now, in Moon 4, the Iris is becoming aware that something else - other than humans and the strange, mimicry waves - is trying to communicate. The Iris is trying to reach back to this third party, but keeps being cut off by StarClan.
StarClan is fighting very, very hard to keep Rootgrove's trapped spirit hidden from the Iris. They didn't know his spirit would emit electromagnetic waves too. They need to find a way to destroy the thing that took him, before the Iris breaches their defenses. Otherwise, all hope is lost, and the Iris will begin sending Well-Groomed Cats again to manipulate ForestClan to their demise.

So the kings have lived for probably a long time so I wanted to show that I didn’t age them well I forgot to put any kind of aging, but I wanted to put scars on your bodies or at least somewhere because with the darkness being a thing it would make sense that they were hurt so I’m gonna show y’all

So with the orange king, I gave him scars on his hands, and he has some nerve damage from the lightning damage and being hurt deeply. He is unable to control his hands so they shake and he is unable to write anything down without it looking a little messy. Before light, Steve was light Steve and shy orange Steve that’s what he would do. He would write anything down at the king would like be written down.

And I wanted the kings to stand out from the people so I gave them stars like kind of between their eyes to signify that they are kings and just colorful fingers so the orange leader has orange fingers 👍
Seeing that the true yellow King was overthrown by nightmare. I would think he was hurt badly to retreat and not able to take back his kingdom for a long time. So he has a deep scar over his eye and losting it was something big to him. The scar over his eye also reaches his star sing that it nearly costed out, and it could be like a symbol that he felt his people once by letting them be taken over
He has many other scars over his body, but the one on his face is mostly seen
This is all I have for now but the drawings are great
