Ok no I'm not done being weird yet, here's another idea for the marriage canon event stuff
Miguel and other Spiders are getting on your ass about, "oh, how old are you now? Why aren't you looking for a husband yet? Why are you spending so much time here?" And are, you know, your friends who love you and for your own good are trying to get you to complete your canon so you, you know, LIVE, but the way you see it is, being forced to do something like that and sacrifice yourself like that isn't living. You're not going to actively pursue and seek out a relationship, you want one to happen naturally, and nothing has felt natural to you and you're afraid of being hurt like that, of being rejected, of opening yourself up to someone and not being good enough, but, O'Hara and the Society don't really want to hear that. It's escalating over time. Little comments here and there, people randomly interjecting their personal anecdotes about their family and their kids into the conversation, "oh this is just like when me and Mary Jane--" "oh my kid loves this flavor, she gets so excited, I like to be naughty and get her these as a treat"
So you reach the point where you're fed up. This is so massively fucking inappropriate of them. There's no "set age" for this kind of thing so why are they harassing you like this, acting like, oh, you gotta hurry and pursue shit right now, it's for your own good? It's just pissing you off and pushing you away. You love traveling to different dimensions and exploring new places and experiencing things that are literally out of this world but if the trade-off for that is constantly being badgered with this stupid narrative of having to sacrifice yourself, you'll happily go home and break canon and die, because at least you'll be truly living and making a choice
So anyways to get to the meat of this post: you've decided you're leaving the Spider Society and you're not going to talk to any of these bitches anymore, just haven't fully decided on when, but like, you're literally thinking within the next week, but you're still, there. And one day you're in the lobby, trying to stand around because you're supposed to go on some sort of stupid assignment, Peter B and Jess with you, the parents talking about baby stuff as you roll your eyes and Peter suspiciously needs you to keep holding Mayday until you're literally refusing, "just put her on the ground or something, you let her climb on walls and shit anyways"
And because you're in the lobby, this big open space with tons of people passing through, suddenly in walks Miguel with. Another Miguel, completely unrelated to the mission you and the others are about to do, kind of just bumping into each other as they pass through. Miguel2 just got scouted by his counterpart that he met during chasing an anomaly, and they're getting to know each other, and at some point Miguel2 is like "can my wife come too 🥺👉👈 she's also a Spider and I can't be here without her" and everyone is a little confused because there's supposed to be the whole only 'one Spider per dimension' rule besides like family, like Peter and Mayday, and you'll just never guess whose alternate universe variant is his wife :) another you comes bounding in wearing casual baggy clothes but looks so radiant and happy, all "hubby 🥰" as she kisses her husband, you're just awkwardly sending glances to 'your' Miguel as you two are, understandably feeling awkward because, you're, coworkers, and here are two people who look exactly like you being all lovey dovey "princesa 🥰" "guapito 🥰"
This other you just seems so, VIBRANT and she's introducing herself and shaking hands and she sees Peter B, "oh my god you have a baby, I'm so happy for you, she's so cute!" And she's hugging him, and you watch Peter B's eyes go kind of wide and he looks down, "OH, you're like--" and Other You just kind of laughs and parts her coat, showing off her rounded tummy, "haha yeah, there's a baby in there! Number 3, we're so excited! 🥰" and you're just. Simultaneously feeling some sort of fucked up combination of the most visceral and extreme discomfort you've ever felt in your entire life and also some kind of. Envy. Because she has everything you thought you didn't want and she seems so, SO fucking happy, with a husband who loves her, she clearly loves her babies, and she's being accepted by all of your friends instantly, like they're all gathered around talking as you're just, basically on the outside of the circle, actively putting up distance, only standing around because, uh hey guys weren't we supposed to be doing something--
Your skin is crawling as Other You uses her own watch from her husband to zip back to her own dimension and comes back with her babies on each hip, twins that she's just so happy to introduce to her new friends, who are SUPPOSED to be YOUR friends, "THIS one is Gabriella, and this one is Gabriel. Aren't they so cute? 🥰 theyre both so chunky they almost killed me but it was SO worth it" And once she realizes you're you, or, you're her, she wants to immediately chat you up and be buddy-buddy and goes to hand one of her babies to you and you. Refuse. Absolutely refuse. Suddenly you're the pariah of the group, both Miguels are sending you looks. Why are you being so fucking rude? Just put your arms out??? But you won't. You're just, soul-suckingly disgusted by this entire scenario. Not only is it putting an unspoken pressure onto you, but, seeing this other you be so fucking happy AND accomplishing all the things your "friends" have been badgering you about makes you feel SO indescribably insecure
Fine. Let it be like a revolving door. Another you enters Spider Society, one of you leaves. But you're so bitter and hurt you can't help but get in a jab at her, wanting to tarnish her "fake" happiness, feeling so personally hurt and offended by her very presence and existence in the room. "Hey so wouldn't your babies also be Spiders and have to suffer through the canon events too? And since you don't have any other family members, your kids' canon events might be YOU or Miguel dying? Aren't you glad you gave birth to your kids only to die and leave them without a mom and dad and forever doom them to a narrative where they can never make their own choices and are cosmically destined to be unhappy just because YOU wanted a cute baby? Sorry I guess I'm just built different. Hey remember how when we were little girls and we used to feel like mom only gave birth to us because she wanted someone who would love her and we resented her for bringing us into the world to have such a harsh life, aren't you so happy that's EXACTLY how your kids are going to feel about YOU?"
Mom!You is instantly bursting into tears and holding her little belly for comfort as her husband looks ready to tear you to ribbons, FURIOUS, all the healthy people in the room understandably disappointed and upset with you, like what the FUCK girl, meanwhile you're opening up a portal to your home dimension and just chucking your watch straight into the floor. "Keep this. I won't be coming back" while everyone is kind of dismissive of how truly upset you are, kind of just like "come on, don't be like this 🙄" like you're throwing a tantrum when in actuality you're going home and are seriously considering selling Osborne or Doc Ock all of your radioactive eggs. You'll always be YOU before you're a Spider, and if they want to force you to put The Job above yourself your entire life, they're dead wrong.
Meanwhile after you leave, pulling each other aside for privacy, Miguel2 is asking your Miguel why he's risking breaking his own canon by not wife-ing you up yet and comparing notes from all of the other dimensions where you and him are together as your Miguel is shocked by the sheer number of same occurrences. Miguel is all on about, "what does this even mean, we're from entirely different dimensions", and Miguel2 over here just unapologetically, "so? My wife is also from another dimension, I just took her, she got used to it, it's totally fine bro, it's canon, just do it, just do whatever you want. it's fine bro I'M TELLING YOU--" and maybe even Mom!You is so, sucked into her own "it's ok I was initially forced into this because I'm happy now" world that she's even advocating, "oh gosh if I was her I'd be SO lonely, hearing how you two aren't even that close, especially not anymore, and you've all been avoiding her, and she doesn't even have a baby to care for and give her love 🥺 most 'me's are at least dating right now, so, i bet she's feeling so much pain, she NEEDS YOU right now 🥺"
Peter B is sent to give you another watch and tell you, it's ok, you can come back, they promise they're not gonna bug you about dating and stuff anymore, and you're just all "nah, I'm ok! :) you can keep it :) I've had enough of you guys :) dont let the door hit your ass on the way out :)" meanwhile Miguel 1 and 2 are comparing strategies, "see, when MY wife was refusing to come back to me, what I did was..."

Firework Confession
Billy Hargrove x reader
Sum-You take billy out to the firework show and he finally opens up to you about everything, his mom, his feelings for you and why it’s only you have cares about.
CW- trauma, mention of abuse, kissing, cussing, mention of alcohol, use and mention of smoking, confession.
Tumblr media
You giggle as you take billy by the hand and lead him over to the edge of the Parking structure.
“Y/n think we gotta hurry.” He says chuckling at your actions.
“fire works are starting in a bit we gotta get the best spot.” You say. You lean against the railing looking up at the sky all the stars and city lights beyond.
“here you’re fucking stupid for not bringing a jacket.” He says taking his off as hes got a flannel under. He wraps it around you ceasing your slight shivering. The smell of his cologne and leather fill your nose such a comforting smell.
“I wish it was like this all the time.” Billy says you look over to him as he take out a pack of cigarettes and pulls one out.
“like what?” You ask. He sighs placing one between his lips and shakes his head. He walks to his car grabbing a stray match and the two bottles of corona then walks back to you. He waves his finger telling you to come to him and you listen.
He hands you the bottles before leaning close to your chest stricking the match on the necklace he used to wear but gave to you. He lights his cig putting the match you and blows the smoke out.
“billy?” You ask. He licks his lips leaning against the edge.
“like this you know…just me and you, no one to come in a fuck shit up? Im only….” He pauses.
“im only like this, myself, with you.” He says you put the bottles down moving closer to him. As he drags out another breath of smoke. Blowing it to the side.
“my uh..my folks they are the best people.” He says
You already knew about Billy’s mother leaving and how its just him his father and max. His fathers current girlfriend living with them.
“a couple weeks ago i told you dropped the bar on my side yeah?” He says you nod.
“i didn’t. I am that stupid to do it but-my dad he like to throw me and max around. I take most of it so she dosnt get hurt but i cant always protect her. That’s why im always at yours.” He says you look up at him.
“the black eye wasn’t football either?” You ask he shakes his head. You nod. A tear falls down his cheek. You reach your hands you brushing your thumb against his cheek and smiling at him. He sniffs and takes another breath if smoke holding it for a second before breathing it out.
“Billy..w-why didn’t you tell me sooner?” You ask.
“Its not important.” He says.
“Of course it’s Important!? You’re important. You’re important to me.” You say.
He chuckles shaking his head leaning against the railing.
“Damn baby you’re gonna make me blush.” He chuckles reverting back to his Billy mask.
“I mean it Hargrove.” You say lightly punching his chest your fist comes incontact with his pec and he takes a hold of your wrist keeping it there. Your fist open letting your palm rest against him.
“When my mom left she’d gone with no warning just one feat got up and left. She that was the first time my pops really beat the shit outta me. Max was just a baby…I remeber staying up all night in her room making sure he wouldn’t come in and do that same to her.” He says his fingers brushing against your arm. Once again inhaling before throwing the cig off the edge.
“When I saw Nate bothering you at the party I didn’t think much until he put his hands you. I didn’t want anyone, friend of or other wise to fucking touch my girl.” He says as you move closer to him a small smile forming on your lips.
“You’re so important to me. You’re kind to me and tell when what I do wrong without being a bitch, you take care of me and you’re..your so so good to me….I lo-“ you wrap your arms around his neck kissing him deeply he kisses you back just as soon as you do.
His hands grip im your waist. The loud boom of a fire work and a bright colorful light pulls you away as you look up at the show starting. Bill moves your face back to him keeping you looking at him.
He smirks looking down at you.
“I love you y/n…I don’t want anyone else telling you those words I just want you.” He says you smile placing you hand on his cheek brushing your thumb against his skin.
“I love you too billy” you take away your hand balling it into a fist and lightly punch his arm.
“Took you long enough!” You giggle he chuckles and nods.”
“Sorry.” He says gripping your waist pulling you into him pressing his lips against yours once more.

I feel so weird and like I'm doing something wrong?? My Boss manager always being so passive aggressive to me or maybe I'm just not used to ppl being so stupid.
She's like "you NEED to be selling the credit cards more. You know we base your scheduling on how many credit card u sell and if you don't have high numbers then when I start hiring new people..."
HIRING WHO?????? HIRING WHOO???? Id like to see all the people you’re hiring hmm? Where? You can barely keep ur own managers from constantly calling out of work. So ur forced to do 60 hr work weeks every month. I know u ain't talking to me And the other two associates always call out or don't show up so I have to come and cover for them…I KNOW YOU AIN'T TALKING TO ME!??!??!?!?
"Your job is to sell the stuff at the counter and credit cards" ok then why am I sweeping the floors and cleaning the bathrooms and wiping the mirrors and pricing merch and tagging and taking out the trash and dusting and packaging online orders etc?
She like "even tho ur just an associate u NEED to be reading the emails everyday" girl how is knowing what the stores over n Texas and Florida make gon help me 💀 She acts like she got hella people on stand by bitch u dont she tryna lecture telling me I need to do more... All you do is talk on the phone and ask ppl to join ur church.
She be in the corner somewhere on the phone and the customers are like "um...excuse me?" And she ignored them so I gotta help them. Even tho she tasked me with scanning all the fucking items in the store!!
And she literally told me "u need to pay attention more to the customers YOU'RE NOT HERE TO COMPLETE TASKS!!!" AHHHHHHUAHHHHHHHHHHHHH what do you mean???????? Wtf am i here for then??
I'm bout to snap on her fr maybe I'm too combative… she got me pushing around this chart.
She was like complaining "uh make sure you fix that bcuz y'all like to leave it a mess 😒" And I was bout to say "bitch who tf is y'all??????" I KNOW how you are and I know you complain about every lil thing, so whenever i'm pushing that chart around it be looking neat and tidy and I put it back like that too.
I'm da best employee she has!!! My other managers Jays and Red were literally like “ugh we were so lucky to have found you” and the other day a customer had came back into the store to tell my manager Red what a good job i did helping her find what she needs and being accommodating…The other associates dont do shit.
The college girl who barely works saw a box all messed up, she tried to quickly close the top (didn't work) and then she just walked away. I was like "um aren't u gon fix that?" And she was like "oh yeah right" Like??? And all she does is stand behind da counter. The store be a mess and she be standing.
The phone guy just be on his phone and he be chilling in da back. I know u are not on my case. when u let a whole ass employee stay in the break room his entire shift 💀.
I feel like she get someone sort of power trip off it and she just needs someone to terrorize and she choose me because I'm always there 🥲 (this is the reward i get for being a real ass employee??)
Boss manager was like "I'm going to start quizzing you guys on what was in the manual bcuz y'all act like talk forgot, you NEED to be following them!!" Girl still on shit from da "training" videos. Shit she don't even follow…
Yesterday she was like, “go reprice the entire clearance section, make sure you don't leave the chart out!!! Every Time someone walks in the store, put the chart back and greet them!!! (she's standing next to the entrance doing nothing) Well this NEEDS to be done before your shift ends so get it together hurry up!!! And you can actually leave the chart out when u need to ring someone up on the register (she is one the phone and didn't notice someone standing there) OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING THAT GUY NEEDS HELP!!! HELP HIM!!! GOOOO!!! AND TAKE THE CHART WITH YOU!!!!! OMG OMG STOP STOP LEAVE THE CHART HELP THAT GUY NOWW UGHHHHHHH!!!!!" and she is...standing there doing nothing...he walked up to her first bcuz she was closer…
Its so awkward asking someone to apply for the credit card, bcuz the boss manager expects you to harass every customer (she literally follows them around the store and asking them repeatedly to sign up i counted once…she asked one person 7 times) AND it's not even only the credit card, it's everything in the damn store. AND she only wanted 1 person on the register even when its rlly busy, trying to sell everything in the store…. (you guys only 2 people are allowed in the ENTIRE STORE one associate and one manager bcuz the company wants to be cheap)
It's like the customer places whatever they’re buying down and I have to say “hey this thing is buy one get on half if you're interested, and we have this item on sale, also if you wanted any of these items they’re behind you. Do you want any of this? I can show you the different ones we sell. And we have this too. I can help you pick out the one you need. We also have a credit card, if you want, you'll earn coupons and get a discount off today's purchase :D"
And she wants us, to say that, TO EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER!! Everyone…
So it gets so awkward asking, especially if they are just buying like one little item. And to make things worse she's so nitpicky about everything like I was asking if they wanted to join our rewards and she was like "ugh if you ask it like that of course they're gonna say no!!!" And then she...didn't give me a way I should ask them…
I just nod and say "okay" whenever she starts ranting. She just get on my nerves a lot but that's also bcuz ima hater. Idk i feel like i do everything correctly and efficiently so idk why my managers are always attacking or complaining about me.
Can I pleaseeeee have a job where I only need to complete tasks??? Where are those jobs?? Someone point me in the right direction

Arcade games <3 (Modern AU Wanderer/Scaramouche/Kunikuzushi x reader)
Tumblr media
I wanna redeem myself from the first cringy post i made with scara bc i find it cringy. this is my redemption arc
(you both are university students btw)
Summary: You and your boyfriend go on a cute date to the arcade after not going on dates for a while. But ofc, trouble has to arise. So why not deal with it?
Warnings: fighting, Sexual assult
"Hurry up y/n otherwise I'll go by myself!" Your boyfriend called you from downstairs (he moved in your rather large apartment. money stuff ig). "You'd be lonely if you did so wait!" you yelled back. You rushed to put on a good outfit for your date at the arcade with Kuni (this guy has three names and we are going with this one idc) and rushed down the stairs, making sure to not forget your bag and all the other shit you needed.
"Finally y/n. took you long enough." He rolled his eyes at you as you scoffed. "I dont want to look like shit when we're going on a date ok? I gotta look good for you" Now it was his turn to scoff, but you could see a tint of red on his cheeks. cute.
You both headed out the door, hand in hand walking on the sidewalk. It was still winter outside but it hadn't snowed for days. It was winter break for your school (you attend the same school) and since a ton of people were out on vacation, you decided to ask kuni out on an arcade date. His flustered expression was quite cute you've gotta admit. Nevertheless he excepted.
The arcade was quite close by, and was quite popular among students to hangout or go on dates there. After walking for a few minutes which seemed to go by too fast as you were too focused on your handholding with kunikuzushi. You would've continued to walk if he didn't tug on your hand and pull you back.
"We're here. lets go in." he was worrying you'd catch a cold, but he won't tell you that. He tugged you in-but not too hard-and the door chimed. "Wait here" you said. You walked up to the counter and check in. you did book the whole arcade. You didn't even know that you could do that until you asked as a joke a few weeks ago.
Walking back to your lover, you linked arms with him. "surprise! i booked the whole arcade for us!" you laughed. he stared. "You WHAT?" being rich and its benefits. feetfinder
You laughed, ignoring his shock. "C'mon! I only booked this place for two hours." you started heading for the prize area. "Alright, today i'm spoiling you. look at these shelves, tell me which one you want" You studied him. did he stare at something for a longer period? did his facial expressions change? "I-I want to get you something not me!" he stuttered. Your darling lover was not used to affection, until he met you. He was still trying to get used to it, but he loved anything you did honestly.
ah ha! you saw his eyes linger on a cute black cat plush. you thought it was adorable. you loved your boyfriend so so much. You were going to win it no matter what. It costed a lot of tickets. Thats alright though, you were an arcade pro!
An hour through, you came to learn that for some goddamn reason, kuni was an absolute pro at arcade games. better than you x1000. you cried mentally. He kept beating you in every single game.
ding the door chimed? but you booked it for the whole time? kunikuzushi saw the frustration in your eyes. You both were playing in the back of the arcade, so you couldn't really see what was happening. "I'll go check it out, ill be right back" that was your boyfriend, six minutes ago.
You started to walk to the front, and saw three females all attempting to flirt with your boyfriend. You laughed internally. Did they think they could ever be better than you? "Hello ladies." You showed up behind kuni, arm slithering around his waist. You had lectured him a week ago about not beating anyone up, and you could tell he was trying, just be seeing how uncomfortable he was with those girls.
"and you are?" bitch no.1 spoke. "This is my girlfriend" kuni spoke glaring at them. "Now leave us alone."
"Stay out of this pretty boy" bitch no.2 spoke. "Did you not hear my boyfriend? Leave. now." You were fed up.
"Hmmm..how about no?"Her arm started to crawl up your boyfriend, in a seductive way. "I can make you feel g-" you couldnt take it anymore. You stopped hugging your boyfriend and grabbed a handful of her hair and pulled it back.
"I wasnt asking whore. leave my boyfriend alone." You grinned at her, like a psychopath. "OW! You fucking bitch!" she yelled in pain. her other goons were already attempting to fight you, but it gets even better! You grab a table tennis racket, and S W U N G. And they were down in a couple seconds. Needless to say, your date was ruined. so much for not beating people up you damn hypocrite.
In the end, the staff, who fucking disappeared, gave a refund of the unspent time there, and also gave you the cat for free, and then you presented it to kuni. "Darling i got this for you!" you cheered excitedly as if you weren't in a police station answering questions.
He gave a light hearted laugh at your attempt to cheer him up from his rather unjoyful time with the stranger. You both ended the night watching netflix and cuddled together, eventually dosing off.
"I love you so much kuni.."You were soon asleep. Your boyfriend, whom was in your arms blushed furiously (he's your no.1 fan) "I love you too...sweet dreams darling"
happy ending yey
i still feel like it sucks but its better than the one b4

The Speed Of Pain: One Won't Hurt Me
Chapter Two
June 28th, 1997
Las Vegas
Charlotte
" I know that things are going wrong for me. You gotta listen to my words. Heirs of a cold war that's what we've become. Inheriting troubles, I'm mentally numb. Crazy, I just cannot bear I'm living with something that just isn't fair. Mental wounds not healing. Who and what's to blame? I'm going off the rails on a crazy train. "
The show has been over for a good half hour but I love going out on the stage when no one's here and singing a little something. One day, God willing, I'll be playing for large crowds just like my dad. I even dream about it at least twice a week. Maybe even more now that I'm on the road.
No complaints here since this is the first breath of freedom I've gotten ever. After being stuck in Florida and then Michigan for the last four years of college, it's refreshing to be traveling around. Especially when I get to spend sibling time with Jack and Kelly. I really wish my mom would have had more kids than me. It would have been nice to have what they have.
" Hey. That sounded good. Just like him actually. " I hear from behind me and almost jump out of my skin in fright.
Tumblr media
Feeling my face heat up I say, " thanks... I didn't know you were listening. "
I know deep inside he's resisting the urge to laugh at the look on my face. " I was and I can't wait to hear more. I also saw you out there tonight. You were really rocking when we went on. "
" You were ON. " I say with a shrug.
He cracks a smile. " I even caught you singing along. Never would have thought that you were a fan. "
" I'm insulted. Ozzfest isn't the first time I've seen you on stage. You guys usually put on a great show. " I compliment truthfully. " When you aren't literally cutting yourself open that is. "
His smile widens at my words. " The first time I didn't actually set out to cut myself. Someone threw a broken bottle and it was spur of the moment. After that... I guess I just wanted to keep up the shock value of it. "
Marilyn
" Not gonna lie, when I first saw it, I was worried. " She says as she puts a piece of hair behind her ear.
I love it when girls do that. It's an easy giveaway as to whether they're interested or not. Not that I'm looking or anything. It's just nice to know I have this kind of effect on such a beautiful woman. That she'd even be worried about my well-being without even knowing me yet.
" It looked really deep. Do you get stitches after? "
Pursing my lips I lift my shirt to reveal the scars that litter my stomach and chest. " Nah, but they do hurt like a bitch for at least a few weeks after. "
It looks like she's having an inner fight about what she wants to say to that. " I don't mean to sound judgemental... But what exactly do you get out of it besides pain and scars? "
I don't think she'd ever understand if I did explain. No one would. So she'll have to settle for a watered-down version.
" Every artist worth their weight in cocaine is willing to suffer for their art. " I tell her shrugging before pulling my shirt back down.
Before I can stop or talk myself out of it, I ask, " so... You gonna hang out with me tonight? "
Charlotte
As if I'd say no. " Sure. I just need to get my jumper from the bus. "
" Hurry. I'm too sober for my own good. " I hear him call out.
I chuckle as I enter the warm bus. It's crazy how Las Vegas can be so hot during the day and then so chilly at night. Grabbing my jumper, I pull it over my head. Going over to the full-length mirror I straighten my hair and reapply my lipstick.
Tumblr media
" You were great tonight dad. Everyone was actually. " I say as I make sure the rest of my makeup is holding up.
Dad, who's painting at the table, looks up and says, " thanks, Schroeder. Where are you off to? "
" I'm hanging with Manson and the band tonight. " I tell him with a smile.
Kelly pops out of nowhere and wraps her arms around my waist." Can I come? "
" Sorry sis, " I say while removing her arms. " We're going to a club where there's going to be drinking and illicit drug use I'm sure. "
She frowns and I know one of her famous attitudes is roaring its ugly head. You know who's to blame though? Marilyn. He made her his new best friend and now she wants to do whatever he does. Not really a good thing. I know he has been dying to get out and have some adult fun soo she'll get over it. He loves hanging with Kelly and Jack, but it can't be a good look for his rocker reputation to always have kids around. No matter how cool they are.
But a smokin' hot blonde? Always in style.
" We'll do something fun before we leave Vegas. " I promise just to avoid her shenanigans.
Her expression goes from bratty to excited in five seconds. " Promise? "
" Me too? " She and Jack both say at the same time.
I couldn't just take one and not the other. What kind of sister does he think I am?
" Yes, and yes. " I say before going to lean over and kiss dad on the cheek. " Don't wait up old man. "
Waving me off he says, " have fun, Schroeder. Don't do anything I wouldn't do. "
" That doesn't leave a lot of things that I shouldn't do. " I say with a huge smile.
Sharon laughs having caught the last part of our conversation as she walks into the bus. " Go on darling, Marilyn's waiting. You know better than to keep rock stars from their partying."
" Okay, I'll see you all for breakfast. " I say as I walk down the four steps and open the door.
I step down on the asphalt and just as I'm closing the door I hear, " yeah right. There's no way we're seeing her before noon. I know how Manson likes to party. "
Looking at Marilyn, I know he heard too. Laughing he shakes his head and wraps an arm around my shoulders. " We'll see about having you up before two. I'm surprised Kelly didn't get dragged out while hanging on your leg. "
" I had to bribe her and Jack with doing something fun tomorrow. " I say chuckling.
He laughs along. " She's a fun kid, they both are... " He says before stooping in front of me with an evil look on his face. " But tonight we're doing things a bit more age-appropriate. "
Can I just say that I don't like that evil look? It's like he knows what's going to happen even before it does. Shrugging it off, we head over to a pretty little Jaguar.
...
" Come on, we're getting shots. " He says while pulling me through the sea of dancing bodies to the bar.
I can't help but look all around. The atmosphere is crazy here. I'm such a noob when it comes to this stuff. Marilyn seems right at home though. After ordering, he hands me a double shot and I swallow it quickly without asking what it is.
Big mistake.
Making a sick face he laughs at me. Pulling him down to my level, I yell in his ear, " I've been nice to you, why would you want to kill me "?
He laughs and I go to order something to get the nasty taste out of my mouth. Before I can, he's already handing me a beer. Taking a long drink I look back up at him.
" What was that? " I ask once the taste is gone.
It tasted like battery acid.
" Absinthe. Come on. Let's find the cool table. " He says in my ear before leading me over to an empty corner.
Pulling out a little baggie of white powder he empties out some onto a small compact mirror he pulled from his pocket. " Let's really start the fun. "
" I don't know. I'm already feeling the absinthe. " I say not lying in the slightest but also knowing I've never done blow.
Not to mention if my Dad were to ever find out... He doesn't speak highly of cocaine at all. Sure he has done enough for ten people in his lifetime, but that's how he knows that he doesn't want it for his kids.
" Then it won't make a difference if you do a line or two with me. " He reasons with a charming smirk.
... However, I am twenty-two and need to make my own mistakes. " Okay. " I say throwing caution to the wind. " I suppose one won't hurt me. "
Famous last words.
" I knew there was a reason that I liked you. " He says as he separates the white powder into two identical lines on the compact.
Putting the tip of a straw into his nose, he leans down and snorts one of the lines. Holding his left nostril he holds the straw out to me. Taking it I mimic what he did and regret it instantly as the powder burns through my nasal cavity. Three seconds later the burn is replaced by numbness.
" That's gross. " I say as I feel the powder liquefying in my nose.
He laughs and pulls my legs up into his lap. " You get used to it. "
Yeah, right. " I don't know how. "
" Just give it a few minutes and you'll see how. " He says as he takes off one of my heels and starts rubbing my foot.
I don't know if it's the drug or what, but his hands feel like pure silk on my already hurting tootsie. " I shouldn't have worn heels. "
" Yes, you should have. I have a reputation to maintain, you know? " He says before running his index finger down the bottom of my foot.
My whole body jerks trying to get away from his finger. " That tickles! " I say as I damn near climbing him like a tree.
" Watch it, blondie. " Marilyn chides as my jumper opens a bit more revealing more of my barely there bralette. " A man could get the wrong idea. "
Laughing I get off of him and attempt to sit back but end up laying flat on the long seat. He shakes his head and pulls me back up till our faces are inches apart. " If you get the wrong idea, it's because you're thinking the wrong things. " I blurt out.
" Oh, I'm thinking all the wrong things right now. " He groans.
And just like that, my panties are soaked. Well played, Manson, well played. Does he do this for fun or is it just natural?
" Naughty, Mr. Manson! " I say giggling like an idiot.
Putting his lips next to my ear he says, " I can have you creaming for me in under two minutes ".
I debate my response when we're interrupted.
" I thought I'd find you in your favorite corner. "
Turning my head away from him I see THE Johnny Depp standing in front of us.
Tumblr media
" Hey man! " Manson says before getting up and embracing the actor.
Johnny eyes me when they pull apart. " Who's your friend? "
" This is Charlotte Osbourne. " Marilyn introduces. " She's Ozzy's daughter. Charlotte, this is Johnny Depp. "
Holding my hand out I say, " Hi, it's nice to meet you ".
" Likewise! " He says taking my hand in his and placing a kiss on the back of it. " What are we drinking? "
Marilyn's on his feet in seconds. " I'll get us a round of shots. "
" No! " Both Johnny and I insist.
Johnny damn near forces Manson to sit back down. " I'll get us some shots. Be right back. "
Laughing at his back, I see he has learned the hard way as well. Manson just sits in his spot looking like a scolded child. Smiling wide I poke him in his cheek. He playfully bites at my finger making me laugh again.
I look at him and he does something that damn near takes my breath away. He smiles. Not just a superficial smile that he has been plastering on his face all day and night, but a real genuine smile.
Wow.
Time stands still for both of us. It feels as if a magnet is pulling our faces together slowly but surely. Our lips get about an inch away from each other when Johnny returns with drinks in hand.
" Alrighty. One absinthe, and two rums. " Johnny says completely unaware of what he just interrupted.
Reluctantly, we both sit back in our seats. Damn, Johnny. I was sooo close to kissing the lips that I've been looking at all night. I don't even care if it means messing up both of our lipsticks.
Manson and I down our shots quickly and it's just now that Johnny notices the tension.
" Did I interrupt something? " He asks in confusion.
I look at Manson who's looking at me as well. I imagine my cheeks are just as red as his at this moment.
" Where are the rest of the band? " Johnny asks trying to bring us back around to talking.
" Off somewhere wreaking havoc. I didn't want them to ruin our night. " Manson says shrugging.
I laugh at that hard for no real reason. Leaning in, Marilyn says, " you're feeling it now huh? "
Now that he mentions it... Yes, I am feeling it. I laugh again and bump shoulders with him.
" Don't tell me you have already started the real party without me. " Johnny asks in a mock hurt tone.
Marilyn cracks a smile. " As if I knew you were going to show up. "
" Excuses. " Johnny continues to joke.
Going into his pocket, Marilyn pulls out the baggie with the cocaine in it. " Well... You can always join us for the next. "
Johnny grins evilly and we all do a line together. I hate to say it, but he was right. The second one burned less than the first. After that and many more shots of rum, time became a blur of laughs and off-beat dancing.
<>
When we get back to Marilyn's tour bus he helps me up the stairs. Trust me, I need the extra help. I'm honestly lucky to be upright at this point.
We're about to head back to his bunk when we hear, " Are you serious? You went and got Ozzy's daughter shit-faced? "
We turn around to find the one called Twiggy standing by the kitchenette looking at us like we committed murder. I crack up at the look which makes him glare at Marilyn harder.
" What's the problem? " Marilyn asks while wrapping his arm around my shoulders. " This here is a legal adult female. "
Deciding not to let him take his bandmate's judgment I chime in. " I'm twenty-two, not twelve. Besides, my dad knows where I went and with who. "
He rolls his eyes but has nothing else to say. We then head back to his bunk like we were originally heading before he interrupted us. Once there Marilyn starts going about what must be his nightly routine. He pulls out a bag of makeup removal wipes and begins wiping his face. Passing the wipes to me I do the same.
" Do you have a hair tie? " I ask him when my face is free of makeup.
He takes one of the ties off of his wrist and hands it to me. Leaning over, I finger-brush my hair into a high pony. I just then notice how hot I am when I feel the cool air hit the sweat on the back of my neck. He takes his shirt off and throws it haphazardly behind him. Which does nothing for how hot I am at the moment. He's really good-looking for someone who thinks he's not. Scars and all.
Removing my jumper, I hear an almost inaudible gasp behind me. I feel one of his large palms on my lower back and his breath on the back of my neck. " Your skin is so milky and soft. "
" Let me sleep in one of your shirts? " I ask over my shoulder with a shy smile.
Reluctantly, he moves away and starts digging in his suitcase. He picks one of his longer shirts with the devil printed on the front.
" Thanks. " I say when he hands it to me.
I shimmy out of my pants and fold them before setting them on top of the suitcase. Unhooking my bralette, I look up at him and wink. He's sitting in his bunk, eyes wide as I pull it from my chest and feel the cool air hit my nipples.
" Damn. You're fucking beautiful. " He damn near whispers.
I feel my cheeks redden under his intense gaze. My insides quiver and my lady parts flutter. I've never really dated around or entertained a man in this way before. Nor has a man ever made me feel these kinds of things.
After letting him look at my mostly naked body for a few moments, I slide his shirt over my head and pull it down. " You're not so bad yourself. "
" Come here. " He says as he gets under the blankets.
I can see his hard-on through his boxers just as he covers himself with the blanket. Is that really all it takes to get him going? A little naked tittie action? Good to know.
When he's situated he lifts them for me to slide in next to him. " Hold on. " He says before sliding his arm under my knees and switching sides on the bunk so that I'm facing the wall.
I turn onto my side and pull the blankets up to my shoulder before scooting closer to him. Reaching his arm out, he pulls me into his chest. Damn. He was talking about my skin being soft, but his is like a baby's.
Just before I'm about to fall asleep, I ask, " you know the time "?
" When we came in it was close to four. " He mumbles.
Okay, so I might not make it for breakfast after all. Lunch. Lunch is better. The second most important meal of the day.
" Thanks for taking me out with you tonight. I had fun. " I yawn out.
" Me too. I guess blondes really do have more fun. " He jokes while stroking my hair.
I giggle into his chest. " Do blondes usually get you up like that? " I ask as I lift the blanket up to look at his erection that hasn't gone down in the slightest.
" Honey, you just showed me your perfect body in all its naked splendor. Any man would rise to the occasion. " He says as he smoothes the blanket back down over his lower half. " A lady wouldn't have mentioned it. "
I laugh harder. " Maybe... It's hard to ignore though. "
" Stop trying to take advantage of me, Charlotte. " He huffs out in mock aggravation.
Once I stop laughing the bus quiets down again and I settle back into his chest. " Goodnight, Manson. "
" Goodnight, Blondie. " He sighs out already half asleep.

Miles From Normal
A/N- Hey…Hey😀…How y’all doing?😸 So let's pretend i didn't disappear for a week.
Word Count- 1.1k+
Jack Harlow x Reader
Summary- You are avoiding telling people you and Jack are dating. You guys eventually do but the way you did it is not the way you expected.
Warnings- cursing, fluff
You and Jack have been dating for 8 months. You knew eventually that you would have to tell people. You ignored it for a awhile. Every time Jack tried to talk to you about it, you diverted the conversation. You wanted too keep yours and Jacks relationship the same as it's always been.
He assured you that after you guys announced it that it wouldn’t change the way he saw you or loved you. But you knew he was terrified, even if he tried his hardest to hide it. You knew that the twitter comments, the criticism, and online news articles would get to his head. So when the time came to tell, you avoided to every extent you could. "Y/N" "hmm" you hummed half asleep.
"You gotta get up babe" he stated rubbing your back. Jack had gotten up early to do checks for the concert he was headlining and to do some other things. "I'd rather not" you mumbled "Okay" he mumbled into your hair while kissing your head. "Well im leaving to go do checks and some other stuff" "K. I love you" you said turning onto your back looking into his eyes.
"I love you to" he exclaimed leaning down to kiss your lips. You could stay in that position for eternity. "Mamas" he mumbled into the kiss, "I gotta go". "K". "I'll have Urban or someone from my team come and get you to take you to the show" "What time does it start again" "5 my love". It was 7 am.
"I'll be there at 4" "im sure you will" "LOVE YOU, BYE" Jack screamed. "I LOVE YOU TOO". You were in bed till 11. The only reason you got up was cause you had chores to do. You had to clean the house, go to the grocery store, and go shopping just cause. You got up took a shower, washed your face, and picked out something to wear. You decided to wear a cropped tank top, your air forces, and a little jewelry.
Also you picked out a little handbag to go with. You weren’t that hungry so you didn’t bother to make breakfast. You wanted to get back in your bed as fast as you could. You grabbed your keys and left. “Gross” you commented.
Your car was filled with fast food bags. Stress Eating is a bitch. “I’ll do it later…or get Jack to do it”. First stop was the grocery store. You didn’t have a specific list if stuff you needed, so you basically went with your gut. You walked out with everything but food.
“Note to self: Don’t tell Jack i just bought more then 100$ worth of anything but food”. Next stop was the mall. It was so crowded, you had to park at the walmart next door. You didn’t wanna be there any longer than you had to so you got in and got out. You were not getting stuck in traffic. You went to so many stores you had to ask one of the security guards to help you with your bags.
You got you and Jack matching shoes, matching jogger sets, and matching jackets. The jackets had yours names on the back. Was it corny? Yes! Is it cute though? Also yes!. You finally got home at around 4 so that gave you enough time to get ready. It took you about 10 minutes to shower and wash you hair. But at least another 20 to figure out what to wear.
Your a very indecisive person. One of your best traits Jack says. You decided on something simple but still compliments what Jack was wearing. A white button up with a “California” crewneck. For shoes you chose off white converses.
Jewelry you just wore some plain gold pieces and your promise ring from Jack. By the time you were done it was around 5 and Urban just texted you.
Urb👺: Hurry up. Don’t wanna miss your baes show😻.
You and Urban were practically best friends. A bunch of people thought you and Urb were dating him for the longest time. You hurried up, grabbed your bag and got in the black suv outside you home.
“Send me a text like that again and i will hurt you” “Love you to Y/N” “Stfu and drive please” you said smiling. “whatever”. What felt like hours you finally pulled up to the venue. Riding with Urban wasn’t so bad actually. You too blasted a bunch of music.
Some of Jacks songs and some of Nicki Minaj. “Get out” “Hmmmm- No!” “Y/N. I will crash this car right now”. You knew he was bluffing. “Ok” “Ok”. He took his foot off the brake and the car started rolling.
You just sat on your phone scrolling thru instagram. After about a minute he slammed on the brakes. “Your an asshole” “I know” you said smiling while getting out the car. You already knew where to go. You got to the back and saw Jack getting mic’d up so you just went to his dressing room.
He eventually texted you asking where you were and you said his dressing room. You didn’t even here him come in, you wouldn’t have known he was in the room until he plopped down in the couch next to you. You would be lying if you said you didn’t have a mini heart attack. “Hello lover boy” “Hi mamas. What did you do today” “Bought alot of stuff.
I got us a bunch of matching stuff”. His face lit up. He loves matching clothes. Jack had a little while before he went on so you and him just sat on the couch talking the day away. You were interrupted by Urban running into the room.
“Jack! Dude you go on in like 2 minutes” “Crap ok we’re coming” “We?” “Yes we” “Jack- What did you do?” “Something! come on” Jack grabbed your hand and dragged you to the side of the stage. They called Jack onto stage. After awhile the crowd calmed down. “Before we get this show started i have a special person i would like y’all to meet” You knew were this was going and you hated it. “My Gf!”.
Your heart sank. You didn’t wanna go but you had to for Jacks sake. You walked out on that stage like a runway model. And the way Jack looked at you. You knew you would never let him go.
You walked up to Jack and kissed his cheek. After all that you went back stage and hung out with Urban and Jacks manager. Jack eventually finished. You guys decided to stay for the whole show. After the show you and Jack went to interact with his fans.
His fans were so sweet but seemed to be more in love with him then you were. It was a bit concerning. You eventually left but. “So you know how i said i went grocery shopping earlier today” “Yea” “So i didn’t actually get food” “Y/N!” “WHAT?” “You had one job” “You shouldn’t expect much from me” “why can’t you be normal” “Baby, im miles from normal” you announced.

meet-cute | b.b.
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Female Reader Warning(s): fluff, awkward Bucky, vet appointment stuff, Alpine Request: Babes if you're lowkey taking requests can I lowkey make one? 👉🏼👈🏼🥺💕 something flirty and cute and maybe a lil spicy with Bucky and vet!reader where something's going on with Alpine? Not self indulgent at all 😻💖 Notes: This was the first thing I’ve written in months and it felt damn good. Funny story, I actually almost went to school to be a vet tech + shadowed a vet for two weeks and got to see some wickedly cool things.
This was a bit self-indulgent on my part because I had a cat who passed away some years ago because of struvite stones and I wished he had a happier ending like Alpine so I thought why not 🤷‍♀️💖
Taglist is open
(gif from google)
Tumblr media
There’s nothing Bucky hates more than the stringent smell of industrial cleaners and clinical white walls - too many associations and shades of memory long laid to rest - except for when something’s going on with Alpine. The Turkish Angora was fine up until a few days ago when he started to hide away and sleep all day.
That wasn’t too concerning at first...
But then came the pained little noises, the frantic running back and forth from the litter box, the excessive grooming. The pit that started forming low in his belly grew, his instincts screaming at him that something was wrong, very wrong, with his little buddy.
Bucky wasn’t about to fuck around and set up an appointment with the first vet office he could find that had a same-day opening. And now he’s trying not to fall apart at the seams while he waits for the docs to do their magic and tell him what the hell’s going on with his cat and what he has to do to fix it.
The vet tech collected Alpine a bit ago and every minute stretches into years, the cat’s pitiful meow echoing in his ears and those betrayed eyes burned onto the backs of his eyelids.
I know, Bub, I’m sorry but they gotta figure out what’s going on. It’ll be okay, they’ll take care of you.
His ass went numb from the plastic chair ages ago, his leg jiggling up and down at a rapid pace as he chews on his thumbnail and waits.
And waits.
And waits.
God, he knows these things take time but he’d rather be back at home, curled up on the couch with Alpine pigging out on breakfast food and watching space documentaries.
How much longer-
“Alright, Mr. Barnes?”
The heavy door swings open with a click, a kind, professional voice preceding a pair of sensible shoes as the vet steps into the room with a clipboard cradled against her chest. His eyes snap up, skipping over her completely to look at the tech holding his cat who looks absolutely miserable.
She introduces herself but he’s not paying attention. He’s not meaning to be rude but all his focus narrows in on that white little face, the knot in his chest unfurling at the little mew.
He smiles, his eyes crinkling around the edges as he breathes, “Hey there, Little Buddy.”
The vet doesn’t push, in fact, she seems a little enamored with how much he melts at the sight of his pet. Her own lips quirk up into a soft smile while she stands off to the side patiently as Alpine’s set down on the metal table.
Bucky gets in a few good scritches under his chin, the beginnings of a purr just starting to vibrate his hand when the vet clears her throat delicately.
He clears his throat, heat burrowing into the apples of his cheeks. “Shi - uh, ‘m sorry.” A hand scrubs over the back of his neck. “I’m just - uh - y’know...”
Her laugh trickles down his spine like warm rain, the sound effectively drawing his attention away from the cat rubbing up against his side. He gets his first look at her and oh.
A bare face and a no-nonsense hairstyle greet him, her scrubs and white coat adding to the overall doctor vibe but she’s still breathtaking. The natural beauty in the curves of her face, the slant of her brows, the sparkle of her eyes.
He feels like he got sucker-punched in the chest, his heart giving a sudden throb that has him coughing like an idiot as he scrambles to not look like such a jackass.
“So,” he clears his throat, scratching at the stubble along his jaw, “What’s - what’s wrong with him?”
Glancing down at Alpine’s chart, she hums and writes a note before glancing back up with a reassuring smile. “Nothing that can’t be managed with a special diet and watching his water intake.”
It’s like the weight of the world disappears from his shoulders, his broad frame practically heaving with his sigh of relief. “Oh thank fucking- ahem, ‘scuse me - thank god.”
Her chuckle and sly smile have him blushing from the roots of his hair to the collar of his shirt, his stomach squirming in discomfort. Old habits are hard to break, especially ones his momma taught him with a box to the ear.
“You’re allowed to swear, Mr. Barnes,” she says, reaching down to run her fingers through snow-white fur. “We’re all adults here.”
“No, no, I know...”
“Hm, anyway, his blood work came back and everything looks fine which is a good thing.”
And it’s back to business like that, any hint of personality hidden behind cool professionalism that Bucky thinks even Tasha would admire. Except for the playful gleam in her eyes as she sneaks peeks at him while going over everything they did and what they found.
“Struvite crystals are quite common in cats at low levels, especially males because their tract is longer and narrower.” She pauses, flipping to a new page. “Depending on the severity, they can clump together in the urinary tract and actually form stones. That’s where the true problem lies because get one large enough, and it can cause a blockage.”
He’s listening with rapt attention, soaking in the knowledge she’s imparting to him all the while, petting Alpine who keeps nuzzling him and making little sounds. Honestly, he could listen to her talk for hours even if he didn’t understand a goddamn thing.
She’s so animated when she speaks, holds eye contact and makes sure he understands everything without making him feel like an idiot. He’s had so many doctors who talked at him rather than with him, staring through him without seeing, more interested in the paycheck rather than their patients.
But not her, she cares.
Deeply.
He can see it all over her face and it’s utterly enchanting. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t a little enamored, charmed.
Turning the tablet towards him, she shifts closer and a waft of whatever perfume she’s wearing tickles his nose as she explains what the x-ray of Alpine’s abdomen found.
“These are the stones but thankfully they’re relatively small,” she points to several hazy white ovals starkly visible on the radiograph, “We caught them in time before they became a really big problem.”
Shit, she smells so good...
“Now, we’ll send you home with a special diet and see how he does. Also, make sure to up his fluid intake as much as you can. The food can take several months to start dissolving the crystals so we’ll have to do everything we can to help. Sound good?”
Bucky hasn’t pulled his eyes away from her face once this entire time, and how fucking creepy is that?
Quickly looking down at Alpine, embarrassment gnawing at his belly, he nods and wishes for the first time since he cut his hair that he hadn’t so he’d at least have a passing chance at hiding the blush burning its way across his face.
“Yeah,” he says, picking up the ball of white fluff to hold against his chest, a makeshift shield. “Is there anything else I should do?”
“No.” She smiles, writing another note and tapping away at the tablet next to her. “I do want to see him again in about a month for a check-up.”
Fuck, he doesn’t want to leave so soon.
The irony isn’t lost on him either.
How does he make this last longer? What can he do? If Sam was here right now, he’d be kicking him in the ass and bitching at him to ask for her number already, Ice Pick.
The clack of the chart being set down rings through the room, bouncing off the walls and sounding so fucking final that he starts to panic.
Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit.
She’s already halfway to the door when she asks, “Do you have any questions?”
The word vomit spring from him, unbidden and sudden without any thought, more forward than he’s been with a woman in years.
“Can I have your number?”
As soon as the question leaves his lips, he curses, cringes and wishes he could snatch the very words from the air itself.
Great, I just hit on my vet.
No amount of backpedaling can salvage this but goddamn it if Bucky doesn’t try, stuttering out some half-assed excuse about wanting it just in case he thinks of something later.
When he glances up, he wishes he hadn’t. The vet tech is in near tears in the corner, biting her lips so hard he wouldn’t be surprised if they started to bleed.
But it’s the absolute surprised bafflement on the woman he just inappropriately hit on that does him in, makes him about ready to burn all forms of identification and run for the hills.
Her brows nearly reach her hairline, her mouth slack, eyes startled. She gets ahold of herself before he does, and he barely stops himself from slapping a hand over his face.
Right when he’s thinking there’s no way he’s going to be able to show his face in the office again, her expression softens with gentle amusement and her lips twitch.
Struck dumb, he can only watch as she writes something down on a slip of paper before handing it over to him. He barely believes the string of numbers and the cheeky little call me anytime :).
The wink she sends his way is there and gone, so fast he almost believes he imagined it.
“For emergencies only,” she says, slyly. “Of course.”
“Of course,” he agrees, almost tripping over the cat carrier as he hurries to stuff Alpine back in. “Of course, thank you. I...appreciate it.”
“Anytime, Mr. Barnes.”
Bucky leaves the room in a stupor, the world sharply shifted to the left as he heads to the front desk to make the follow-up appointment, but not before hearing the whispered, “Girl, you’re lucky. He’s fine!” and the “He is, isn’t he?”.

"You were not there, living in fear."
"I'd give half my happiness, just for one look."
"Tell me what you saw."
"On a road that lead me straight to... who knows where?"
"You better work, bitch."
"Don't even try on that frown."
"I got a mind full of aggravation, I can take if I just relax."
"First dance is always free."
"Passers-by were looking at me, as if they could erase it."
"I think I know what I want, but I don't know where to go."
"I'm not the man I thought I was, so try to sympathize."
"Have you got it in you?"
"Keep me solid so I stay on track."
"Can you tell me, what's the point in building empty empires now?"
"It takes a lot, to be always on-form."
"Click my fingers, ladies swoon."
"I"m just soakin' up the magic in the air."
"Against all the odds, it's getting worse."
"I'm sick of all the same withdrawals."
"Something's gotta work."
"There are times, I will admit, my heart saw better days.

~---~---~---~---~
There was a week left until your second semester began. Isaac was determined to thank you for everything you had done for him since he told you about his dad.
He enlisted Stiles and a reluctant Lydia to help him with the planning. Isaac was going to make a picnic basket with your favorite foods. After that, Stiles would drive him to Lookout Point, and Lydia would take you there right after he gave her the go-ahead to let her know it was ok to leave.
Lydia would take you to the mall so that Isaac could prepare the picnic basket. He had bought assorted fruits, a platter of ham and cheese pinwheels, passion-fruit fruit champagne, your favorite desserts, and your favorite chips. He packed a picnic blanket as well as two smaller ones so that you both could lay under the stars and watch them dance.
After everything was packed, Stiles drove him to the point in the woods, and two miles away from his destination, he called Lydia and gave her the signal.
When he reached the peak, before he could do anything, Stiles scolded him.
"Hey scarf," he barked. Isaac turned his head.
"Don't try anything with my sister tonight, alright? You may not be in the house, but I will still be watching everything?"
Isaac paused. "Aren't you going back to Scott's house?"
"I have eyes everywhere, Lahey," he stated simply before waltzing away.
~---~---~---~---~
When you arrived, Isaac had everything set up, the picnic cloth was laid down on a flat chunk, the colorful plastic champagne glasses he had bought were carefully placed down on top of the plates,
When you arrived, Isaac had already laid everything out. The picnic blanket was spread out on a flat chunk of land, and the ceramic plates sat on top of it. There was a bundle of spoons and forks, knives, and colorful plastic champagne glasses for the both of you.
"I-saac, haha," you chuckled.
He bowed. "Good evening, madame. How can I serve you today?" He walked over to you and led you to the setting.
"Isaac, you didn't have to do all this, you know?"
"I know, but you've done so much for me recently, and I wanted to thank you."
You looked at him fondly, and he stared back at you before breaking away to grab the fruit. He fed you a strawberry, and after that, you both took turns tossing berries into the air and trying to catch them.
~---~---~---~---~
After you both were done eating, Isaac packed all the remaining food (which was a lot) into the basket and tossed you a cover. He pulled you closer to him once you were wrapped in the blanket and laid down to watch the stars with his favorite person in the world.
"That's Orion's belt, right there," you thought out loud.
"That's the big dipper then,"
"How do you know so many constellations?" Isaac questioned, and you frowned.
"I- uh…"
"What's wrong?" He looked at you with worry.
"It was something me and my mom did before she died. She would go out to the woods with me—" you paused."—and she would show me where all the stars were. Stiles was never interested. My obsession with finding the stars became so big she decided to get me a telescope and a big book of all the constellations."
"Oh, so I'm guessing it's a touchy subject?"
You laughed. "It's a subject that brings up memories. To be honest, I haven't tried stargazing since my mom's death. This was nice."
"You never told me much about your mom…"
"And you never told me about yours," you hit back.
"Touché."
You went first. "Before everything, my mom was…in all aspects… perfect. Every day when we came home from school, she would have lunch ready, even if we already ate, just some chips and cookies on the table for Stiles and me."
You smiled. "Mom would take us outside to the backyard and play soccer with us, us two against her. I think she would go easy on us."
"When she got diagnosed, she started becoming less… tolerant of us. She would yell for the tiniest things, and they didn't hurt me as much because Dad would always remind us that she didn't mean it, but I guess it always hurt Stiles more—"
"How do you mean?" Isaac asked.
"He was always a mommy's boy. One night we went to visit her at the hospital, I went to the vending machine to get snacks for Stiles and me, and he was gone. When he came back, he was crying nonstop. I kept trying to get him to tell me what was wrong, but he wouldn't tell me. The next day it was like he just forgot about it."
You both sat there in silence for a while longer.
"My mom…. My mom was always working. She had her own business making soaps and perfumes and stuff like that."
"She would always ask—" he gulped. "—she would ask my brother and me to help her with her orders. We would always make a mess, so after we were done, she made bubble baths for us." He giggled at the memory. "When she died, I guess we all changed a bit."
"I got a little shier, Camden got more impulsive, Dad just lost his filter. He put more effort into making sure we were disciplined." He saw your eyes squint. "He didn't hit us back then. He just had stricter rules."
You pulled him closer to your chest, and you guys just stayed there, looking at the stars, and feeling, even more, closer to each other than before.
You broke the silence.
"Isaac…"
"Yes, Y/N?"
"I love you…"
He leaned down to your face and pecked your lips.
"I love you too," he smiled.
~---~---~---~---~
"Y/n!" Isaac was trying to wake you up. You had fallen asleep watching Nightmare on Elm Street. You had been desensitized to all the blood and gore because you and stiles would always stay up late and watch slasher films. This was when your dad worked extra shifts at the Sheriff's station, and your mom was at the hospital.
"N/n, Wake up!"
He grabbed your ringing phone and pulled it up to your ear, despite knowing he would face your wrath for doing that later on. Stiles had just called you for the 4th time that night, and you weren't waking up.
When you still wouldn't wake up, he did the only thing he could think of, as illogical as it was. He laid down flat on his back and rolled over, pushing you off the bed. You woke with a start.
"ISAAC, WHAT THE HELL!!"
"Stiles has called you 4 times in 5 minutes, and you told me to wake you up whenever someone calls you…" He fake-pouted.
Your expression softened because you couldn't resist his cobalt eyes, but you were still angry. You answered the phone and shouted at Stiles to release your frustration.
"Stiles, what the hell, you're across the hall. Did you really have to call?"
"Hurry up and get ready, Dad just went out, and we need to go get Scott."
"Why do we have to follow dad? It's his job."
"Someone found a dead body, but half of it is missing,"
"Ok, I'm coming," You said while putting on your jeans.
"Oh, and leave the golden retriever."
"His name is Isaac, not 'golden retriever,' Stiles!" you scolded.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever, hurry up!"
You finished putting on Isaac's hoodie and turned to face him.
"I gotta go, love."
He pouted. "Why can't I go with you?"
You went to give him a hug. "We should go with the least amount of people possible., so we don't get caught…" you lied.
"Is Scott going?" He was always able to tell when you were lying. He knew all your tells and your poker face before you were even dating.
"Fine, It's Stiles."
"So, I realized. Do I really look like a golden retriever?"
You shrugged and said in a pitchy voice, "An adorable golden retriever?"
He sighed.
"Be safe, and come back before midnight, please? I don't wanna go to sleep without you…"
"Nervous for tomorrow?"
"It's the start of first-line tryouts. I really wanna make it this year,"
"I'm sure that you'll make it Isaac, you are one of the most hand-eye coordinated people I know, and at every game, I will be there to cheer you guys on!"
He smiled at your statement and kissed you.
"Be sa—"
"Y/N, Hurry up!" Stiles shouted from downstairs.
~---~---~---~---~
You stayed in the car while Stiles was getting Scott, silently cursing him for not allowing Isaac to come but going to get Scott.
Scott and Stiles got out of the house and piled into the car.
"Next time you wanna leave the 'golden retriever,' Stiles, we're also leaving the poodle," you angrily intoned.
Scott took up an offended expression. "Poodle?"
"Would you rather chihuahua?"
"Nevermind..."
"No, we're not leaving Scott. He's my best friend," Stiles said defensively.
"Oh yeah? Isaac is my boyfriend, yet he couldn't come!"
"My car, my choice of guests."
"Fuck off, Miechyvslaw!"
~---~---~---~---~
"We're seriously doing this?"
"Obviously," you stated simply.
He started driving the car, and they headed to the woods where the search party for the body and the other half of it would be located.
"You're the one always bitching that nothing ever happens in this town," Stiles said.
"I was trying to get a good night's sleep before practice tomorrow."
"Right, cause sitting on the bench is such a grueling effort," Stiles sassed.
"No, because I'm playing this year. In fact, I'm making the first line."
"Hey, that's the spirit. Everyone should have a dream, even a pathetically unrealistic one."
You interrupted their bickering. "Just out of curiosity, do either of you know what half of the body we're even looking for?"
"Uhhh-" Stiles stuttered.
"And uh- what if whoever killed the body is still out there," Scott questioned.
"Also, something I did not think about."
"It's comforting to know that you've planned this out with your usual attention to detail," Scott stated.
Stiles and Scott continued bickering, but soon, you saw a flashlight.
"Shit! Hide!" you warned, but Stiles kept going. You leaped forward, trying to grab his shirt and pull him back, but your dad caught you.
"Hang on. Hang on. These two delinquents belong to me."
Stiles sighed.
"I told you to hide, you brat!" you whispered to him.
"Daaaaad!" He enunciated. "How are you doing?"
"So, do you, uh, listen into all my phone calls?"
"Not the boring ones," Stiles said.
"So, where's your usual partner in crime?"
"Wh-who Scott? Scott's home, he said before continuing to ramble.
Your dad had called out for Scott, and when he didn't respond, dragged you and Stiles back to the Jeep.
~---~---~---~---~
You went back to your room once you got to the house and found Isaac asleep on the bed.
"Izzie!" You grabbed a plush pillow from beside him and whacked him softly with it.
You went home that night, not knowing where Scott was or what had happened to him while worrying about what Melissa would do to you if Scott got bitten by a coyote and she found out you lured him out there.
He stirred but didn't wake. You groaned and moved beside him.
"Isaac?" you shrilled. "Isaac, you were supposed to wait for me to come back!!"
You shook his body left and right until he woke up groggily.
"N/n?"
He fully opened his eyes and groaned at the comfort that it was you.
"You scared me!" he complained.
You began shuffling towards him and running your hands down his covered pectorals. "Aww… what can I do to make you feel better?"
"Anything?" he said before sucking in a breath.
"Anything, baby," You nodded.
He pulled you onto his lap and started kissing you passionately, your lips meshing together. He trailed his lips from yours to your cheekbones, then to your jawline, nibbling slightly. You moved your hips forcefully against his, and he brought one hand down to your waist.
"Hey, is this ok?"
You nodded vehemently.
He pushed your hips back and forth along his while leaving dark red marks towards the base of your neck and your collarbone. He sucked a hickey onto a pulse point, making you let out a moan, which you tried muffling by pressing your lips together.
He brought his hands to the hem of your shirt and tugged slightly before looking up at you. You replaced his hands and pulled your shirt off of your torso.
He placed open-mouthed kisses onto the tops of your breasts, causing you to throw your head back in delight. He brought his hand back to the small of your back and shuffled you forwards on his lap.
He turned you over onto your back and continued to kiss from your chest up. He stood on his knees in front of you and pulled his shirt off of his body. He placed one more brief kiss on your lips before gripping your thighs and lowering down your body.
~---~---~---~---~
Stiles drove you, Isaac, and Scott to school the next day. When you got out of the car, Scott and Stiles were talking about a bite that Scott had gotten when he went to the woods, but he assured you that you wouldn't face Melissa's wrath.
When you saw Lydia amongst the crowd, you dragged Isaac all the way to her. Lydia had never liked Isaac, feeling like her best friend could do much better than someone who wouldn't even talk to her(you) for extensive periods of time.
"Hey Lyds!" you said with Isaac's face buried in your neck. He was not fond of Lydia either, not that she had done anything, but he had picked up on her apathy towards him and just decided he would do the same.
"Hey Y/N! Isaac." You all walked into the building and headed for your respective classes.
~---~---~---~---~
You had English first, and the teacher was rambling about the dead body found in the woods.
A familiar faced walked into the room, and you almost squealed. It was your godsister, Allison Argent. You knew that her family was moving to Beacon Hills, but you hadn't known when they would be arriving.
Chris Argent, Allison's dad, was your mother's best friend in high school. When she gave birth to you and Stiles, she made Chris your godfather.
You quietly clapped your hands at her appearance. She smiled at you before taking the seat diagonally across from you and right behind Scott. You noticed how when he turned around to give her a pencil, he looked highly flustered.
Before you could point this out and tease him about it, your teacher began to talk about the novel you were reading as a class.
~---~---~---~---~
When you got out of class, you decided to introduce Lydia to Allison.
When you both approached Allison, she squealed and ran to give you a hug, almost causing you to stumble. You hugged her back for a good five seconds before letting her go.
"That jacket is absolutely killer! Where'd you get it?" Lydia asked the brunette.
"My mom was a buyer for a boutique back in San Francisco."
"And, you are my new best friend!" Lydia said before greeting her boyfriend, Jackson, who had come up behind her.
"Hey? What about me? Already replacing me with my godsister?" you asked before you felt two slender arms wrap around your waist.
"Never!" Lydia smiled. "We can all be friends."
You could hear a girl talking about Lydia or Allison or both, and you decided you would defend your friends.
You walked over to where she was talking to Stiles and Scott.
"Hey, what's going on over here?"
"Oh, Audrey here was asking what Allison did to already be hanging out with your exclusive clique."
"Uh, nothing? She's just Allison." You said, looking at Scott and Stiles but directing it towards Aubrey. You then turned on your heels and walked away.
You had found that your friends had told Allison about the upcoming party and were just about to head to the lacrosse practice for the day.
~---~---~---~---~
You gave Isaac a good luck kiss before he went out to the field, and Lydia looked at you weirdly.
"What is it?" you asked, rolling your eyes.
"Nothing, Nothing."
"Why do you have such a problem with my boyfriend?"
She turned to look at you. "I don't know, maybe it's because you caught feelings when he hadn't said a single word to you for a week and didn't for another week after you first kissed him"
"It could be that when you asked him out and actually confessed your feelings, he waited a week to give you a response and made you think that he was rejecting you, which made you cry?"
You rubbed your temples. "Lydia, I explained all this to you. He's a shy guy. He just doesn't talk much to people, and he thought I was playing a joke on him."
She shook her head. "Mark my words, Y/N, he's going to end up breaking your heart, and when he does, I'll be left to pick up the pieces."
You groaned. "Allison, does Isaac look like someone who would hurt me?"
"No? He looks like… He looks like a golden retriever!"
The three of you burst out laughing, and Lydia promised to try and be tolerant of Isaac.
Suddenly, it was Scott's turn to try guarding the goal. He allowed the first shot through before finding his footing and blocking the rest of the throws.
"Who is that?" Your godsister asked.
"Hmm… I'm not sure who he is," Lydia said questioningly.
You scoffed. "That is Scott McCall. Stiles' best friend. Why?"
"He's in our English class. He seems like he's pretty good," she said sagely.
She changed the subject. "Speaking of Stiles, how is he? I haven't talked to him since I got back."
"He's-" you tried answering but stopped short. "Wooh! Go, Isaac!"
He smiled at you before going to shoot lacrosse balls at the goalie.
On the final day of tryouts, you and Isaac had done stretches, though he didn't know why, and they had run laps around the field before practice had started.
The coach started talking to the players, and you, Lydia, and Allison sat in the stands. By the time practice was over, Scott had made the first line, but Stiles and Isaac didn't. To cheer them up, you had taken them to their favorite to-go restaurant and bought dessert for them.
~---~---~---~---~
It was a Friday night. You were particularly sad, not only because Isaac couldn't go with you, but because Isaac had his weekly dinner with his dad today. So, he wouldn't even be there when you fell asleep.
Scott and Stiles had gotten into a fight earlier, so he wasn't going to the party. This left Jackson to drive you, who was taking Lydia to the party. This didn't make you too happy, seeing as how Jackson was a self-entitled bastard who got his status from his family and isn't grateful for any of it.
You didn't understand how Lydia had decided it would be a good idea to date him. But, you knew that the same way she couldn't change your mind about Isaac, she wouldn't change your mind about Jackson.
You wore a pink satin body-con dress that reached your mid-thigh. Isaac had picked it out for you when he realized he wouldn't have been able to attend the party. He was ok with it being as short because he knew all the guys there would remember what happened to Garrett Ferrero after he started hitting on you at a party. He had to get nose surgery because Isaac had broken it, and his nose swelled up so large, he didn't come to school until it shrunk.
You paired it with opaque tights with fishnets on top and a pair of red, 3-inch, cut-out heels. As for makeup, you had outlined your lips with a black lip liner and smeared a cherry red lipstick over it. You applied minimal foundation and went for a nude eyeshadow look.
When you stepped out of the bathroom in your outfit, Isaac nearly went feral. He lightly kissed the expanse of your neck, knowing you would kill him if he messed up your makeup, and he ended up backing you both into a wall.
You had to swat him away after a few seconds of this affair because you had to leave soon, and so did he, albeit reluctantly. You put a black jean jacket on top of your outfit before heading downstairs.
He left your house a few minutes before you did, but just before you left, Stiles pulled you aside.
"Hey, Y/N, just watch out for Scott today, and especially Allison." Stiles was overprotective of both of you. Before Allison and her family began moving around, she was like a sister to both of you. You three did almost everything together.
"Stiles, what's going on?"
He sighed. "Ok, this is going to be hard to explain, but you have to go. So I'm going to give you the brief version right now and explain later."
You nodded, beckoning him to continue.
"The night Scott got bit by that 'coyote'... it wasn't a coyote. It was a wolf, and wolf hairs were reported on the autopsy of the dead body. Scott has been experiencing heightened senses, and he's been stronger. Y/N, he hasn't needed his inhaler all week."
Your eyes widened. You didn't know what to say.
"So… you think he's a werewolf."
"Better to be safe and absurd than sorry and sad. Tonight's a full moon, and he just wouldn't cancel that date. Just look out for them, you know?"
You bobbed your head up and down vigorously.
You left the house, and outside were Jackson and Lydia, in the front seat of his Porsche. It was a nice ride but a bit overly embellished for someone who only just got his license.
~---~---~---~---~
Later at the party, you had last seen Allison and Scott as they were dancing. You were dancing with your friend, Marya Cullen. She was a freshman, so she didn't really know most of your other friends. You had met her through your job at Forever 21, and you instantly clicked.
She was really drunk, so you called another one of her friends and asked them to take her home. Marya had given her friends a list of the people allowed to drive her home if this happened.
It was just as you were putting Marya in the backseat, you saw Scott walking away from her, dazed. While that happened, a mysterious guy who looked much older than you were approaching Allison.
"Hey, I'm her friend. I got it, thanks!"
You walked with Allison back to her house after grabbing all your belongings and immersed in conversation, mostly about how weird Stiles was being. Stiles was driving in his Jeep when he saw you coming from Allison's house. You got into the Jeep, and you both went home.
When you got there, you changed into your pajamas and laid down onto the surface of a cold bed. You grabbed your thickest pillow and pulled it into your arms, trying to create some semblance of a feeling of Isaac laying down with you.
~---~---~---~---~
You awoke to bright sunlight and a buzzing phone by your head. Isaac had been calling you to ask you to let him in the house. You realized it was high time that he gets a key to the front door.
You went downstairs to greet your boyfriend, and you noticed that he had brought Starbucks. You almost caused him to fall to the floor had he not caught you in time. He set you on the floor and kissed your lips before heading to the kitchen.
He had gotten your regular order, as well as your favorite drink, and he had gotten his order as well.
You guys say down to just eat and relax.
He took a sip of his iced coffee before saying anything.
"My dad wants me to work at the graveyard," he said, pensive.
You choked on your food. "What?"
"Well, he said he's cutting off my allowance."
"So he said I can either earn it by working at the graveyard or stay broke."
"That's fine, darling?"
"I know, but I still want to get a job to save so once I turn 18, I can move out. And, he is willing to let me choose my own hours, or really just give me hours that don't interfere with lacrosse practice."
You gave him a solemn look and whined. "But that means we won't have as much cuddle time?"
"He shouldn't even be in your room," your dad said, approaching you from behind.
"Hi, dad."
"Good morning, Mr. Stilinsk—"
"Isaac," your dad interjected. "It's fine. You can call me Noah."
Isaac smiled.

Heatwave x female s/o?
Funny enough it's a certain someone's birthday today! Let's give a bitch one of her faves ;)
(Warning; SUPER long)
"Kade, hurry it up."
"Don't rush me, I'm almost done!"
Kade huffed. They had agreed that once a week, Kade was supposed to wash his alt mode. He had an especially muddy rescue today, Heatwave was always huffy after a mess, but today, he was especially finicky. It was why Kade was sitting there, buffing in the fresh coat of wax that Heatwave demanded he have on. He pulled away, and after seeing it was done, lightly patted his hood.
"Alright pretty boy, you're done. Imma go and eat a sandwich."
"Didn't we stop at a drive thru before we got here?"
"You whining makes me hungry."
Heatwave scoffed. He waited until Kade got into the house, before he helped himself out of the driveway, and pulling into the road. Just had to do one thing first, in case they came looking for him.
"Chase, you copy?"
"Yes, Heatwave, I copy."
"Good. I'm handling your patrol shift."
"But Kade isn't-"
"No one knows that. Look, I just need to let out some steam, Chase. You know how Kade is."
"...understandable. Keep me updated."
"Will do."
He hung up the call, sighing in relief. Good, they bought it. He made a left towards the beach, before he came to a halt, just before he made it to the parking lot. There she was. The reason why he wanted to look like a goddamn sports car today.
Brown hair that fell to her shoulders, fair skin, jewelry that dangled, and she was as glittery and stunning as a fallen star. He pulled up right in front of her, giving her just a small honk to get her attention. Her eyes lit up right when she saw him.
"Hey! I was just about to text you!"
He pulled down the window, giving the illusion that she was talking to someone inside.
"Sorry. Had to keep the hood looking nice for you. Like what you did with your hair."
She had gotten bored waiting for him, and had stuffed her hair full of little flowers. Alongside the glitter- this girl was far from boring.
"Thank you! I got you one too. Assuming you're gonna let me in?"
"Course, scoot into the driver's seat."
He opened his door, letting her hop into the driver's seat. She placed a little flower on the dashboard, before she buckled herself in.
"Sooo I take it this is the tour you promised me?"
She was from off island, so she was a little lost around here. He pulled out of the lot, and went back onto the road.
"Yeah, I'll show you around. You still got a week on the island, right?"
"Yep! I'm liking the sights so far. And the locals are definitely nice, and not just on the eyes."
Based on the way she strummed her fingers across his dashboard, she wasn't talking about the humans. He turned to the left, trying to remember to put on his blinker as he did so. She was, something.
"Well, we try to have some hospitality. Especially for tourists who just run into any ol' vehicle."
She huffed, arms folded across her chest.
"The door was open, and I've always wanted to see the inside of a fire truck."
Heatwave chuckled. What a story that was.
"Kade! Close the-and he's gone."
Heatwave groaned. Whenever he saw Hailey, that idiot always forgot the rules of the ride; shut the door when you get out. It was like coming into a closed room, and leaving without shutting it. Just plain annoying. He was about to shut the door, when there was a sudden weight in his driver's seat. He adjusted his rear view mirror. A girl. Tourist, given that he'd never seen her before.
"Cool! A real firetruck! I've always wanted to see one on the inside!"
Not a carjacker, thankfully. Just someone who was curious. He turned on his screen on the inside, and put on his best robot voice.
"Step away, citizen, this is official-"
He stopped once she tapped the screen, right at his nose. She looked fascinated by him, as if this is the first time she'd ever see technology.
"Woah! They have a computer in this thing- that's new! I'll only sit here, just for a second! I've been waiting for a friend."
She sat down in his seat, facing the outside and starting to mess with her phone. He was about to lay on the horn, when she sighed under her breath.
"Come on...I've been waiting two hours, guys."
She got ditched. He wasn't nuts about someone who literally just helped herself to his interior, but Heatwave wasn't sparkless. Not seeing Kade in the distance, he sighed.
"Input address."
"Hmm?"
She looked at the map he put on the screen. She hesitated for a second, biting her lip in thought.
"Uhm...I dunno where it is exactly. Its the uh, the hotels nearby, I think?"
Heatwave knew what she meant. He put the address on the screen, and turned on the light that signaled for a seatbelt. She looked around, as if she was doing something bad, before she grinned, and (finally) shutting his door, then put on her seatbelt. He tried to be quick about this (Kade was SUCH a whiner if he couldn't find Heatwave in the same spot he left him at), despite the fact that traffic was fairly heavy.
"That's so cool, you can drive yourself! Oh you are SO cool! I wonder where's the sirens on this thing?"
Heatwave shouldn't. Those were for emergencies. But traffic wasn't letting up, Kade would call and nag at him for leaving, and...well. She looked like she could use a pick me up. He let the button flash for her, and right when she pressed it, the sirens started to blare. She jumped in the seat, giddy as a sparkling.
"Oh thats so cool!"
Heatwave WAS pretty cool, when he really thought about it. She geeked out well until they reached the empty looking parking lot, then he put it in park.
"Please unfasten your seatbelts, and exit the- ow, the scrap is that?"
She stared at the face on the screen as she started to get out.
"What's...what?"
"There's something on the seats, it's...ITCHY."
She looked around at her seat. Glitter. She gave an embarrassed smile, before shrugging.
"I'm sorry, I got glitter on you. It's kinda my signature thing- wait. Is that...pre-recorded?"
Oh no. He tried to focus on the voice, rather than the itchiness.
"It's nothing to be concerned about-"
He sighed in relief when she dug her hand into his seat, easing that itch. She pulled away quickly, and he knew that face of shock.
"Oh my god. You're not...just a robot. Oh my GOD-"
"Shhhh!"
He pulled his shades back up, realizing it was too late to keep up the robo act.
"Look, okay, I'm not just a truck. But you NEED to keep it a secret. Do you understand?"
She stared at him for a second, trying to take it all in. She slowly started to form her words, taking a step back.
"Uh...are you gonna take over the world or something?"
"If I did, I wouldn't be sitting here with glitter on my seat."
She clearly had a million and one questions, everyone did, but he didn't have time to answer. He cut her off before he could speak.
"I just need to know if you can keep a secret."
"...i can. Especially since you helped me. I won't tell anyone, promise."
"Good. Now, I gotta hurry back, you stay safe. And uh- stop sitting in random trucks. Its kinda rude."
He shut his door, about to take off, when she gripped onto the door handle. He stopped, watched her as she scribbled on a napkin, before tucking it in his windshield wipers.
"In case you need me to say a proper sorry."
With that, she turned, and walked inside. He looked wround, and after making sure no one could see him, transformed, and looked at the napkin. A string of numbers that didn't make any sense.
Weird little human.
"Funny how after that you just couldn’t leave me alone, huh Heats?"
"I'm a rescue bot. Helping people is what I do. By the way, I'm STILL not over the glitter."
"You just mad because I'm cute."
She WAS cute, he'd give her that. He pulled up to a drive thru (the one Kade always went to), chuckling.
"Just order something, I don't want you hungry for where we're going."
"Oh sure, I got some spare cash-"
"No. I said I was going to treat you, and I meant it. There's a wallet in the glove box, use the cash."
She took it out, raising a brow.
"Who's 'Kade'?"
"Friend of mine. He owed me the money, so don't sweat it."
Well. He SORT of did, for dealing with him on a daily basis. After ordering fries, a shake, and nuggets, they were off. She raised a brow as she took a sip of her drink.
"Where ARE we going anyway?"
"Wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you, would it?"
"Can I at least get a hint? Please?"
"Okay, okay. One hint. It's got more flowers."
She thought about it for a second, and he wanted to laugh. She had such a cute scowl when she was in deep thought. Wasn't even looking out the window to see where that they had in fact, stopped by now.
"Is it...a flower shop?"
"No, but good idea for next time. Look outside."
She looked outside, and he felt her cute little feet stomp on by his pedals in excitement.
"No way!! Let me out, I wanna see I wanna see!"
"Hold your turbo horses!"
He tried to make it sound like it was scolding, but the laughter betrayed him. He unlocked the door, and like a fresh sparkpubby, she bolted. He had found this spot, full of flowers, and secluded from most of the usual hiking trails. Someplace they could really, and honestly be alone.
"It's SO pretty here! Why aren't there more people here?"
He watched her use her phone to take plenty pictures, and in a way, it was sweet, knowing she HAD to remember this place.
"No one really knows. Small island, lots of mysteries. You grabbed the blanket right?"
She stopped, before taking off her backpack and nodded. It was more of a tarp, given the size, but she did bring it. She set laid it out, and after getting her food, she sat down on her knees, giddy as hell.
"So. Am I finally gonna see the real Heatwave? Mr 'rescue bot leader'?"
They had been texting a lot since they first met, she knew damn well that stuff like that made him feel a bit frazzled. She really saw him as this incredible being. If only he knew he saw her the same way. He took a deep breath, just as he learned in yoga.
"Okay. I can show you. But you need to keep calm, okay?"
"I can do calm!"
"I love the enthusiasm, but freckles, come on."
Her said freckled face scowled as her arms folded across her chest.
"Fine. I'll be calm. Promise."
He transformed, and knelt down, trying to make himself look smaller. It didn't really work. She gawked at him, little eyes wide and mouth open.
"I...get it. It's a lot, and it's weird and confusing-"
"You did NOT tell me you were hot."
It was Heatwave's turn to be surprised. She wasn't repelled him; she was ATTRACTED to him. Oh no. Oh no, he was tracking her eyes- she was giving him a total once over, clearly trying to take him all in. He cleared his throat, tipping his hat down to cover his optics a bit. She REALLY thought he was 'hot' (which he learned meant 'attractive' and not 'on fire').
"Could uh...could the hot mech take a seat with you?"
She scooted a bit, patting the spot next to her. He was careful with the flowers, before he finally sat down. Heatwave found it difficult to make eye contact again, they both did. What do you do when a girl you REALLY liked called you 'hot'? Do you say 'you too'? Or 'thanks'? He was apparently super obvious with his feelings, she opted to get the ball rolling.
"So? Tell me about yourself! All I know is your name, and that you're a firetruck."
He finally turned to look at her. He had not much to say, but he did have a lot to LOOK at.
"I'm Heatwave, leader of the rescue bots on Griffin Rock. I come from the planet Cybertron, and I help citizens of this island anyway I can. I do rescues. I've also been in a few parades, but I don't like thinking about that. Kid's have REALLY gross hands..."
She chuckled, clearly amused. The whole time he was talking, he was super distracted. Her eyes looked like stars, her hair was soft yet wild, like the ocean, and her...mouth. Humans always looked squishy to him, but this one had such soft lips. They were glossy, and they looked so precious as she ate. The way her tongue licked the salt off of her tiny fingers-
"Heatwave!"
"Huh? What? What's wrong?"
"You were staring kinda off into space? And you're steaming!"
Oh no. He really was. He checked his HUB, and sure enough, temperatures were above normal. He cleared his throat, shaking his head.
"Sorry, sorry. It uhm...happens."
"You sure you don't want me to like. Feel your forehead or something?"
He was about to say no, but the idea of her hand on his metal...well. One touch wouldn't hurt.
"If it'll make you feel better. Knock yourself out."
He lowered himself down to her level, and she pressed her little hand against his forehead. Oh she was so soft.
"Woah. You are WARM. Like a heater! Oh this is nice actually."
She put both hands on him, now at the sides of his face. Her smile was...so close to him. Her eyes were full of wonder and comfort. She felt comfortable with him. He wasn't self concious about his looks, but knowing that someone so pretty, so full of wonder, found HIM attractive- it made his processor spin.
"You...you got a lot more freckles than I thought. Don't think I could count them all."
"Sounds like quitter talk to me, Heats."
Oh the way he smiled at her. He felt joy plenty of times, but this. This was something so incredibly different.
"I don't back down from a challenge. One. Two. Three. Four. Five...six..."
He was losing track. She smelled prettier than any flower here, her breath was hitting his lips. Then, it happened. Her lips pressed against his, and his spark was absolutely thumping. He hadn't ever...kissed someone before. He never wanted to, up till now. He, as carefully as he could, even pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. It was so sweet, so soft.
Then Heatwave got carried away. He pulled her closer to him, steam hissing from his frame as his glossa kept rubbing against her lips. Her mouth was small, but he demanded entry. She was eager to give it to him, and his glossa got a taste of hers. Still sweet from the shake she just had, it was a taste he wanted more of. He held her in place, not wanting to let this feeling go. She tasted so good, she was so warm, so soft, and wet, and-
"What's wrong?"
He pulled away when he noticed it. She averted her gaze, cleaning the oral lubricant Heatwave had left around her mouth.
"What...do you mean?"
"You're warm. Really warm. And your legs are pressed together. Did I hurt you?"
"No! No, I just...uhm...okay, this is embarrassing. I uhm...forget it, it was just that kissing you and..."
He looked confused for a moment, before he gestured to her.
"If I made you uncomfortable or hurt you, I really should take a look at it. Unless you want me to take you out to see someone?"
Heatwave wasn't dumb. He just knew you shouldn't be poking around someone's bits unless you absolutely had to. She leaned back into his hand, spreading her legs apart, and giving him permission to look. He lifted her skirt up, and saw, to his surprise, that humans had a valve. Didn't have the biolights he was usee to, but still so soft, hot, and at the moment, wet. She groaned into her hand, totally embarrassed.
"I'm sorry, I just. You had your tongue out and it just, uh-"
"Oh. You like my tongue?"
Heatwave decided to be bold. He lifted her up, and slowly ran his glossa alongside her folds. Oh the way her legs shook once she felt him. He pulled away, a huge smirk on his face.
"Aw, you good there, freckles? Lookin' a little shakey."
Her face was flushed, her frame shook like a helpless bolt bunny- she was precious.
"Can you just...a bit more? Please Heatwave?"
Who was he to say no to someone who damn near tasted like rainbows?(it was a saying Blades used here, he assumed he was using it right) he brought his mouth up to her again, and dove back in. Only this time, he savored her. He lapped at her little folds hungrily, glossa threatening every once a while to bury himself into her. He felt her little hands grab onto his helmet, felt her legs squirm as she whined for him.
"S-shit, Heatwave. You're...mmph!"
He looked up at her, seeing how she clamped her hand over her mouth. She was enjoying this so much, she was even trying to hump his glossa, desperate for more. With his free hand, he clicked open his spike panel, letting his hand slowly stroke his currently leaky spike.
"Keep making those noises. I like it. I REALLY like it."
She gave him what he wanted, moaning and whimpering helplessly as her fluids started to drip down his face. It felt so good, stroking his spike to the sound of her little mewls.
"W-wait, wait a second."
He pulled away, forcing himself to put his tongue back into his mouth.
"What's wrong?"
"I just. Didn’t want to finish like that. You deserve something too."
He let her go as she wanted to, before he found himself laying back, watching her as she faced away from him. He twitched upon feeling her hand at his sensitive metal, then her hot breath at his tip.
"Wait, I dunno if-"
Then her mouth was at his tip. Oh the way electricity shot up his spinal ridge.
"N-never mind. That. Keep doing it. Way more of that."
Heatwave couldn't just sit there and be lazy piece of scrap metal. He lifted up her skirt, and instead of using his glossa like earlier, he started to use his servos. He sat there, holding onto her cute ass, thumb rubbing in between her folds, all while she sat there, little tongue rolling against his spike, slurping and licking at the transfluids that came from him. He watched as heat rolled from his mouth and into the open air.
Then she came. All it took was a few quick, fast circles against her folds, and she cried out against his metal, dripping from her legs, down to his just waxed body. Suffice to say, hearing her little sounds, watching her as she she tried all she could to please him-it was too much for Heatwave. He overloaded right after, hand digging into the dirt underneath him. He wanted to sit there, basking in the afterglow, when he looked up. He didn't just stain his chest, he stained her pretty shirt. He sat up with a bit of a jolt, knowing he fucked it up.
"Fucking shit- I'm sorry, I'm usually messy but that was an-"
She chuckled, shaking her head, and wiping the bits of overload from her lips.
"It's just a shirt. Really, it's fine."
Heatwave wasn't a usually a 'no it's not' kinda guy. He usually believed when people left it at that. But something about the way she wiped her face free of his overload, made him think differently.
"Why don't I take you back into town, buy you some new clothes?"
"I mean....if you're offering and all."
Heatwave chuckled. Yep. He definitely had the hots for her.
-------------------
"Kade! Heatwave is back!"
Dani called out from the kitchen. It was well into the night at this point by the time Heatwave pulled in. Kade rushed out to meet him before he made it into the garage.
"Where have you been? Chase has been trying to-"
"I kept him updated on the situation across town, so unless an emergency happened-"
"An emergency DID happen!"
Heatwave finally decided to hit the breaks and pay attention.
"What happened? Is everyone safe?"
"You drove off, and I left my wallet in your glove box- had to cancel MY date because you didn't come back."
Heatwave sighed in relief. It was stupid, sure, but at least it wasn't a real emergency.
"Alright, hop in and get it."
He opened his door, and Kade reached in to get it. Once he hopped out, Heatwave drove into the garage to explain himself to the rest of the crew. Then he heard Kade yell from behind him.
"HEATWAVE WHY IS MY WALLET EMPTY?!"
He should feel guilty. But remembering her smile? He absolutely didn't.

“Oh my God,” said Carla. She nudged you and nodded over towards the other end of the bar. “Look at the guy going up to do the karaoke.”
“He’s hot,” said Nora, sipping on her beer. You spun around in your seat, catching the back of the man, his friends he was with obviously egging him on. You tilted your head, wide eyed when the guy spun around up there.
“Holy shit,” you said as he started to sing.
“I know. Plus he can sing,” said Carla.
“No. I mean...I know him,” you said.
“Yeah, he does look familiar. Is he an actor or something?” asked Carla.
“Yeah! Wasn’t he on that superman show? Oh that other guy was hot too,” said Nora.
“No. I mean, well yes, he was. He had his...own show for a while,” you said.
“You like a fan?” asked Carla.
“Go get his autograph when he’s done!” said Nora. “I’ll go with you if you’re nervous.”
“Guys-”
“I want his autograph,” said Carla.
“You’re married to Nolan,” she said. “I know he’s revolting but still.”
“Oh, Nolan is the hottest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I can still look,” said Carla. “Speaking of which, Miss I’m engaged.”
“I’d have to fight Dan off over that guy,” said Nora. “And I’m trying to be a supportive friend over here before Y/N fangirls too hard.”
“Guys-”
“I triple dog dare you to ask him as your date to Nora’s wedding,” said Carla.
“That’s evil,” said Nora. “I want in though. I’ll pay for your drinks tonight if you do it.”
“He was my best friend in high school,” you said, both of them going quiet.
“Oh,” said Carla after a moment. “Sorry. We’ll shut up.”
“Yeah. Sorry, Y/N. We were only teasing,” said Nora. “My brother totally wants to go with you anyways.”
“I...I’m gonna go say hey,” you said, standing up when he finished singing. He got a few slaps on the back from his friends and took a seat, doing a shot as you slowly walked over. You froze for a moment.
You hadn’t seen him since you were eighteen. It was more than likely he wouldn’t recognize you in the dim bar anyways. You shook your head and went to turn away.
“Kid?” you heard, gaze going back to his table. His friends were all staring at you but you only saw Jensen looking at you with a big smile. “Y/N?”
“Hey, Jens,” you said. He shot up out of his seat and immediately gave you a hug, pulling back with a goofy grin. “Been awhile.”
“Yeah it has,” he said, looking you up and down. “You look great.”
“You too. You finally grew into your body,” you said with a laugh.
“Took me long enough. You never had that problem,” he said, biting his bottom lip.
“Who’s your friend, Ackles?” asked one of his friends, a smirk on his face.
“Oh. Guys this is Y/N. She was my best friend in school,” he said.
“You mean the Y/N you had a super huge crush on?” said someone else. Jensen looked like a deer in the headlights, his other buddies wearing shit-eating grins.
“Remind me to kill you later,” mumbled Jensen.
“It’s cool, Jay, really. It was a long time ago. I just wanted to say hi,” you said. “I’ll uh...see ya.”
You immediately left, heading back to your table with a sigh.
“Y/N,” said Carla, shoving her credit card back in her wallet.
“Mhm?” you hummed, tugging your jacket on.
“You got a visitor,” said Nora. You turned on your stool, Jensen giving you a smile as he walked up. “Hi.”
“Hi,” said Carla.
“Hi,” said Jensen to them both before landing his gaze back on you. “Sorry about them. Guys are...shit heads.”
“It’s fine, Jensen, really. Like I said, it was a long time ago,” you said.
“It was,” he said. “Do you ladies mind if I steal Y/N for a minute?”
“Oh, steal her for all the minutes,” said Nora.
“You and Dan are my ride home,” you said.
“Maybe you get a ride home somewhere else?” she said with a shrug.
“Oh my…” you sighed, hopping off your seat and following Jensen outside and into the cool night air. “Sorry. My friends would get along great with yours.”
“You were never much of one with being friends with other girls,” he said with a smirk.
“Cause I was a tomboy,” you said. “I wasn’t exactly girly in school, Jensen.”
“So?” he asked, nodding down to your band tee. “I always liked your style.”
“I do wear skirts and dresses now, Jay,” you teased.
“I’m just saying, you be you. I always liked that version of you,” he said.
“What’d you want to talk to me about?” you asked.
“I have kids,” he said. “And I just went through a very quiet divorce about a year ago.”
“I’m sorry,” you said.
“Remember how you always said I’d marry the first girl I wasn’t shy with? Well, you were right,” he said. “I never loved her the way I knew it was supposed to be. She was safe and I was scared.”
“Jensen. Why are you telling me this?”
“Because I’m sorry for being a horrible teenage boy when I was eighteen and ruining our friendship. I had a crush on you from the first day of kindergarten and I never said a word. Tonight...I feel like a five year old all over again,” he said.
“You said-”
“I know what I said. I remember,” he said.
“I said some pretty awful things too,” you said, kicking the ground. “I told you that you’d fail if you went out to LA, that you weren’t any good.”
“I deserved it. I’m pretty sure I called you a bitch,” he said.
“You were pretty angry,” you said. “All because I went to prom with Dylan Anderson.”
“Dylan Anderson was a scumbag who bragged about who he had sex with in the locker room. He had this list of girls he wanted to try and get with just so he could be their first and you were on it. He was always asking me how to get in your pants,” he said.
“I never had sex with Dylan Anderson. You would have known that if you hadn’t stopped talking to me but oh wait, Jackie Morlan didn’t like you talking to me,” you said.
“Like I said, I fucked up. The one time I picked popularity over you and...I ruined thirteen years of friendship and the end of our senior year and none of our friends talked to you anymore. I know I fucked it up,” he said.
“What is your point?”
“My point is, I should have asked you to homecoming and prom and I should have had the guts to ask you out. We both wanted it. I was too shy and I treated you like one of the boys too much. I took you for granted,” he said.
“You can’t change that, Jensen,” you said.
“No, I can’t. I have two amazing kids and I wouldn’t change a thing when it comes to having them in my life. But if I could have done it with you, I would have,” he said.
“Jensen. I had the world’s biggest crush on you back then. I kept waiting and waiting for you and maybe I regret not saying something first but you know how little confidence I had back then. I’m a big girl now, Jens. I don’t just say yes to the pretty boy because he asked,” you said.
“I just wanted to apologize,” he said with a nod. “You grew up very beautiful, Y/N.”
He turned and headed down the sidewalk, your own eyes shutting.
“Wait,” you said, Jensen’s footsteps stilling. “What did you say to Dylan Anderson? I know you said something because he didn’t even try to make a move on me at prom.”
“I told him if he hurt you, I’d hurt him,” said Jensen. “He could have easily kicked my ass but I sounded pretty scary when I said it.”
“So we stopped talking and you still had my back?”
“That’s what best friends do,” he said with a shrug, turning to face you.
“Why’d you really get a divorce?” you asked.
“She stopped loving me in that way,” he said with a sad smile.
“Jensen.”
“She cheated on me and I pretended it wasn’t going on because I thought I deserved it for not being around so much,” he said.
“You’re an idiot,” you said. “You don’t deserve that, Jay.”
“I know,” he said. “Listen, I’m sorry for bothering you tonight. I should have just kept my mouth shut.”
“Hey. Red light green light,” you said, Jensen tilting his head.
“That was...that was your thing,” he said.
“It was our thing and just because we never did it with you doesn’t mean we shouldn’t start,” you said.
“That’s not-”
“I said red light green light. You remember the rules,” you said. “You came up with them.”
“Green light,” he said.
“You’re lying,” you said. He sighed and shook his head as he crossed his arms.
“Fine. Red light,” he said. “What’s the point?”
“Red light means let’s go find someplace that still has ice cream this time of night and we talk until you feel better,” you said.
“We aren’t teenagers anymore,” he said.
“No. We’re not. But red light green light really helped me on some bad nights and I think it’ll help you too,” you said.
“I gotta head home. The kids are getting dropped off in like twenty minutes,” he said.
“Jensen.”
“Go tell your friend you’re riding with me then. And hurry. I don’t want to be late.”
“The one time she’s early,” grumbled Jensen as he pulled into his driveway. You slid out of the car and saw the driver’s side on the the other one open. “Hallie.”
“Jensen,” she said, glancing at you. “Moving on finally?”
“She’s my friend,” he said, opening her backdoor. “Where are the kids?”
“In the house watching cartoons,” she said.
“You left them in the house alone? They’re four and three,” he said.
“They’ve been in there fifteen minutes, they’re fine,” she said. “I’ll be out of town with Wes the next three weeks so you’ll have them 24/7.”
“Starting…”
“Tonight,” she said. “I have to head home and finish packing if you don’t mind.”
Jensen waved her to leave, rolling his eyes after she backed out.
“That’s your ex-wife?” you asked.
“Yup.”
“No offense but she kind of seems like a bitch.”
“She is,” he sighed. “She suckered me. Jokes on her though. Glad I listened to my parents and got a pre-nup.”
“Way to go Ackles,” you said, Jensen smiling.
“She only has the kids one day a week anyways. It’s very hard explaining to a small child why their mom doesn’t want to see them,” he said.
“She purposefully doesn’t have the kids more?” you asked, following him in through the front door.
“She was never overly affectionate with them. She’s been slowing leaving their lives for the past year. I wouldn’t be surprised if she asked I have full custody within a few months,” he said.
“How on earth did you wind up with someone like that?” you asked.
“Because she acted like someone I wanted. But like I said, pre-nup. She’s got a pretty stupid rich out his ass boyfriend now so she’s happy,” he said, kicking off his shoes as you followed him inside. You looked over and spotted a little girl and boy sitting on the couch watching cartoons. “Hey guys. It is so past your bedtime.”
“Mommy said we could watch,” said the girl, a little bit bigger and taller than the boy nearly passed out next to her.
“Well it’s past your bedtimes,” he said, flipping the screen off and picking up the girl. “How was mommy’s today, Harper?”
“We watched cartoons,” she said, resting her head on his shoulder.
“Is that all you did?” he asked.
“Yeah. Wes came over. I don’t think he likes me and Taylor,” she said. Jensen seemed to ignore the comment but he pursed his lips, looking at the boy half-asleep.
“You want me to get him?” you asked. He smiled and you picked Taylor up, the boy tilting his head at you with green eyes. “Wow. You look so much like your daddy.”
“You smell pretty,” he said, wrapping his arms around your neck.
“He’s so cute,” you said.
“Wait until it’s five am and he’s peeling open your eyelids,” said Jensen with a smirk. “Alright. Let’s get you two squared away.”
Ten minutes later you headed back downstairs with Jensen, Jensen sighing as he went to the freezer and pulled out two pints of ice cream.
“I forgot how much easier that is when two people do it,” he said.
“Your kids are adorable,” you said.
“They’re worth dealing with she who shall not be named,” he said, giving you a smile and handing you a spoon.
“Your house is beautiful too,” you said, taking a seat at his kitchen counter. He hopped on top of it, starting to dig into his ice cream. “So what’s got you feeling red light?”
“Do we have to do this?” he asked.
“Uh, yeah. That’s the rule. If you feel like shit, we eat ice cream and talk until you don’t feel like shit,” you said.
“This used to be easier when it was you feeling crappy, no offense.”
“We don’t have to fix it all tonight, just talk,” you said.
“I’m an asshole and you still want to make me feel better,” he said.
“Best friends have each other’s back from what I hear,” you said. He chuckled, nodding his head. “So what’s up?”
“Nothing. Same crap I’ve been dealing with for awhile,” he said.
“You seemed okay until we were outside the bar.”
“Because sometimes I wonder what my life would have been like if we hadn’t had that stupid fight,” he said.
“I could have said something too, Jensen.”
“No you couldn’t have,” he said with a sad smile. “I knew your weak spots and I hit them. Jackie was stuck up and I never should have started hanging out with her.”
“She was the prettiest girl in school,” you said.
“No she wasn’t.”
“Jens-”
“No she wasn’t. She had to put on a mountain of makeup and a push up bra and wear tight little shirts. There was someone else far prettier around,” he said. “And I was scared of ruining us so I kept it down and then when Jackie started pulling me away, I called you a prude and told you to act more like a girl and you totally should have kicked my ass for that.”
“I spent my first year of college being a girly girl you know,” you said. “Make up every morning, hair, preppy clothes. Frat parties, joined a sorority, hooked up with a guy on a bet. I spent my first two years of college like that.”
“Why?”
“Because boys started paying attention to me. People started to talk to me,” you said with a shrug. “My dad thought something was wrong, like I was having some kind of reverse breakdown or something.”
“What about the second two years?”
“A frat boy tried to spike my drink,” you said.
“Really.”
“Yup. I knocked out three of his teeth,” you said with a smile.
“That’s my girl. You thought it was silly when I taught you how to throw a punch too,” he said.
“Well after that whole incident, I quit my sorority and started fresh. I met Carla and Nora in a study group. Those were real friends. We sat around and ate pizza and cookies and looked like shit and we had a blast. We would dress up and go out sometimes but it was different. It felt like I found a balance. It was nice having girl friends for once,” you said. “They’re the ones that reminded me that acting like a girl means not taking anyone’s shit.”
“I like your friends,” he said.
“So we had a fight in high school. You obviously regret it and I regret it and...maybe something would have happened, who knows. But like you said earlier, you got two great kids upstairs and I’d never take that away from you,” you said.
“Can we start over?” he asked. “From before our fight?”
“In that case, you owe me a dollar for lunch money,” you said, Jensen breaking out into a laugh. “I’m serious. With inflation that’s like five bucks.”
“I can take you to lunch tomorrow to make up for it,” he said.
“I thought we were starting over,” you said. Jensen nodded and hopped off the counter, walking around to you.
“Oh, we are,” he said. You stared at him as he leaned down and kissed you, cupping your cheek gently.
Oh shit he was better than any teenage dream you’d had could have been. He was soft and sweet and he tasted like bourbon and vanilla. There was a spark in your stomach that raced through your veins, quietly vanishing as he pulled back. You breathed and looked up at him, Jensen licking his lips.
“I already told you. I fucked it up the first time. I’m not doing it this time around,” he said. “What do you say?”
“You’re blushing,” you said, touching his cheek, feeling the heat in it. You reached your hand around to the back of his neck, Jensen letting you pull him into another kiss.
“Can I take that as a yes?” he asked.
“Yeah,” you said. “It’s a yes.”
“For my own edification, back then, if I wasn’t so scared…”
“It would have been a yes,” you said.
“That’s what I was scared of,” he said with a swallow.
“Jens. Stop being scared,” you said. “Please?”
“Alright,” he said with a nod.
“Red light green light?”
“Green light,” he said. “I feel better now. Promise.”
“Good. Now what fancy rich neighborhood do you live in cause I need to get an uber home.”
“Hey, Y/N?” asked Jensen when you answered your phone as you were heading out for your lunch date the next day. “I got a slight problem.”
“Yes…”
“My last minute babysitter had to cancel last minute,” he said.
“Bring the kids with,” you said. “I don’t mind.”
“Really?” he said, his voice light and happy like he was a kid himself.
“Yeah. Let me get to know the whole family,” you said. “If you’re okay with that.”
“Yeah, totally. We’ll meet you there.”
“Hello Ackles,” you said, spotting them in a booth at the restaurant.
“Hi!” said Taylor from the other side of the table, tucked between the wall and his father.
“Hi Taylor,” you said, sliding into the empty spot next to Harper. “Hi Harper.”
“Hi,” she said, a bit more quiet than she was the night before.
“Guys, this is Y/N. She was my best friend in school,” said Jensen. “She’s hopefully going to be hanging out with us more lately.”
“Do you play pretend too?” asked Harper.
“No. Your daddy was very good in all of our school plays though. He even got me to do it one year,” you said.
“You hated that,” he said.
“Yes, I did,” you laughed. “I’m a sound engineer.”
“Really? I thought you were going to be a marine biologist,” said Jensen.
“Well, one required way less schooling,” you said. “So you know how singer’s record in a studio? Well I’m one of those people that helps turn what people sing into an album.”
“Do you know Taylor Swift?” asked Harper.
“No, no. Sometimes I work on commercials too. I do a lot of different stuff. It’s really fun,” you said.
“Can you sing like daddy?” asked Taylor.
“Nope,” you said. “What about you guys? You good singers?”
“I’m amazing,” said Taylor.
“Mhm,” laughed Jensen. “So, Y/N-”
“Harper’s having a pool party tomorrow for her birthday. Are you gonna come?” asked Taylor. You stared at Jensen, Harper scowling at her little brother.
“I didn’t know there was a party,” you said.
“I don’t want a party anymore,” said Harper. “Mommy won’t be there.”
“Sweetie, all your friends from pre-school will be there. Don’t you want your birthday party?” asked Jensen. Harper shook her head, Jensen staring blankly for a moment. “We’re having your party, Harper.”
“I don’t want it,” she said.
“How old are you turning, Harper?” you asked.
“Five,” she grumbled.
“My mom wasn’t at my fifth birthday either,” you said. Jensen gave you a smile, Harper looking up at you. “Can I come to your party, Harper?”
“Okay,” she said. “Can I go to the bathroom?”
“I can take her,” you said.
“Thank you,” said Jensen as you slid out, following Harper back to the bathroom. You waited inside with her, helping her get up to the sink and dry off her hands. By the time you were back out, a plate of french fries was in the middle of the table. “All good?”
“Yeah. Can I have a hotdog?” she asked.
“Sure. You wanted mac and cheese, buddy?” asked Jensen, Taylor nodding. “Y/N, order whatever you want. It’s on me.”
“I’ll just get a cheeseburger,” you said. “Harper, I like your braid. It’s very pretty.”
“Daddy did it,” she said. “He’s really good at playing dress up.”
“I bet he is,” you teased. He rolled his eyes and ordered when the waiter came over, making small talk for the most part with you and the kids.
“Hey guys,” said Jensen as he put down some money to pay. “You want to hang out at Uncle Jared’s tonight for a few hours?”
They both nodded excitedly as Jensen looked at you.
“Dinner?” he asked. You smiled and he looked relieved. It wasn’t until you were outside and he packed up the kids in the car that he brought it up again. “Sorry. This has been a total disaster of a first date.”
“No it wasn’t,” you said. “They sort of come with the package.”
“Thanks for earlier with Harper. She really wanted me to cancel her birthday party this morning,” he said.
“Speaking of which, what does she like? I got to run to the store and grab her a present,” you said.
“She’s got toys out her ass,” he said. “Some money in a card is fine. I’ll put it in her savings.”
“Would she like a blanket?” you asked, a silly smirk crossing his face. “Blankets always made you feel better when you felt crappy.”
“She likes pink,” he said.
“Alright. I’ll find her something,” you said. “Where do you want to meet tonight?”
“I can pick you up at your place at seven?” he asked.
“Alright, that sounds good,” you said.
“Hey, Y/N.”
“Yes?”
“I know it doesn’t seem like it but you just gave those two more attention in an hour than their own mother’s given them in six months,” he said. “I appreciate it.”
“Don’t thank me for talking to your kids, Jensen. You don’t have to thank me for that,” you said.
“I’ll text you later,” he said. “And thank you.”
“Alright. I’ll see you later, Jens.”
“Hi,” said Jensen when you slid into his car that night, Jensen looking you up and down. “You look gorgeous.”
“You look very pretty too,” you teased. “Where are we going?”
“BBQ?”
“That’s my boy,” you said. He was quiet as he drove, asking you more about your work as you parked and ordered your food. It wasn’t until he was halfway through a pulled pork sandwich that he started to blush. “What is it Jensen?”
“I’m doing it aren’t I. I won’t shut up,” he said.
“We’re catching up is all,” you said. “I don’t recall you ever being a singer in high school.”
“Well, it’s not exactly something you brag about,” he said. “I’m not any good anyways.”
“You sounded pretty good at karaoke,” you said. “You could make an album for fun. Plenty of people do. Those are actually my favorite projects to work on.”
“Maybe. I’m busy enough with the kids and brewery. I got a movie I’m supposed to film in a few months. Only like four weeks but I’m gonna fucking hate being away from the kids that long. My parents are going to have to watch them,” he said. “Signed on before we got a divorce and everything.”
“Can’t she take the kids?” you asked.
“Honestly, I don’t trust her. About two years ago, Taylor was still a baby, she really started to show her true colors. The nanny was the one raising the kids. I mean, I’m not claiming to be world’s best dad or anything but at least I change a diaper and give ‘em a bath when I’m home. Now they’re getting older and they’re starting to think mommy doesn’t like them. Unfortunately, I think that’s true,” he said.
“You weren’t joking earlier about thinking she wants to ditch them, were you.”
“No. In the long run, it’ll be the best thing for them. But it’s gonna suck. I hope they’re small enough to not let it get to them,” he said.
“I barely remember my mom,” you said. “Shit, your mom was the one that got me through my first period.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. I was over your house and went to the bathroom and it happened and she was so nice about explaining everything to me. I think my dad was a bit relieved we didn’t have to have that talk,” you said.
“My parents ask about you every once in a while,” he said. “Ask if we ever made up.”
“I assume they’ll be at the party tomorrow?” you asked, Jensen nodding. “Well, you can tell them we have now.”
“Harper’s not gonna have a mom pretty soon,” said Jensen.
“Do I have to tell you how a period works?” you asked, Jensen chuckling.
“No. No. It’s just hard to be dad and mom sometimes. I know it’s going to happen too,” he said.
“Well, when it does, I want you to remember that your kids are better off with just you,” you said.
“I’ll try,” he said. “How’s the brisket?”
“Crap, crap, crap,” you heard a guy say as you got out of your car at Jensen’s the next day. You rushed over and helped him catch a bag that was falling. “Thank you.”
“No problem,” you said, giving him a smile.
“I haven’t seen you around before. I’m Jared,” he said.
“Y/N,” you said, Jared raising an eyebrow.
“Wow. Like the Y/N Jensen was puppy dog in love with?” he asked.
“My reputation precedes me with Jensen’s friends apparently,” you said. “We met up a few days ago again. Talked through some stuff. We’re...trying it out.”
“I don’t even know you and I already like you better than the bitch,” said Jared. “Sorry. That’d be-”
“I know who you’re talking about,” you said, glancing at the bag. “Looks like Harper’s making out pretty good.”
“I’m the godfather. I’ve got to spoil her rotten,” he said. “I used to work with Jensen.”
“Yeah, you looked familiar. Your hair’s much shorter now, right?” you said.
“Yeah. Jensen was so excited,” Jared laughed. “I’ve been thinking of growing it out again. Well, I’m glad you made it.”
“Glad Harper invited me,” you said, following him down the driveway and around to the backyard, spotting a few kids and adults around.
“Hey, loser,” said Jensen with smile.
“You’re the loser,” you said, looking to Jared when you heard him echo the sentiment back.
“Well now I really like her,” said Jared, setting his bag down near the pile of presents. “Speaking of which, where’s the birthday girl?”
“Last I saw, Gen and my sister were keeping an eye on them in the shallow end,” said Jensen.
“Well I better go say hey,” he said, taking off as Jensen gave you a smile.
“Thanks for coming,” he said as you sat down a small bag on the table. “So what’d you get her?”
“Eh, it’s nothing,” you said with a shrug. He hummed and crossed his arms. “I got her Harry Potter and a soccer ball.”
“That’s actually kind of perfect. She starts soccer in the fall and she’s ahead of her age group reading wise. She’s actually really ahead,” he said.
“You were always a good reader. Plus kids love Harry Potter,” you said.
“I’m sure she’ll love it,” he said, your lips turning up when you caught sight of his older brother coming over. “Hey, Josh. You remember-”
“Little shrimp. Hard to forget Y/N Y/L/N,” he said with a laugh. “Did you let him sucker you into being his friend again?”
“We’re kind of dating,” said Jensen quietly.
“No shit. You do have a pair on you after all,” he said, slapping Jensen’s back. “Hey Mac!”
“What!” she shouted from across the yard.
“It took them more than ten years to get together! You lost!” he shouted.
“Mow your own lawn loser!” she shouted back.
“No way! A bet’s a bet!” said Josh as he headed off, not without turning around. “I always told Jenny-”
“Joshua. Leave before I drown you at my daughter’s pool party,” said Jensen, closing his eyes.
“Fine, fine,” he said, waving Jensen off. “You know I’m pretty sure you gave him his first boner and-”
“Josh!” said Jensen, his brother cracking up as he left. “That’s not true…”
“We’re not at that stage yet so let’s just go with the old standard,” you said.
“Josh is a dick?”
“Josh is a dick,” you laughed.
“I can agree to that,” said Jensen. “So bathroom is right through there. If you want to change out of your swimsuit, just find a place in the house that’s free. We got presents and cake in like an hour but other than that, it should be pretty laid back.”
“Cool. I’m gonna go say hey to the birthday girl myself and I’ll swing back around later.”
“Thanks for helping pick up,” said Jensen, tossing a streamer in the garbage bag that evening.
“It’s no problem,” you said, looking around the yard. “I think that’s the last of it.”
“Yeah. Hey you want to hang out? We were gonna do a little backyard bonfire. If you want to,” he said.
“Sure. I do want to change out of these wet clothes first though,” you said. He hummed and you walked back out to your car, grabbing your bag as Jensen showed you down to the guest room.
“Shit,” he said, the door already closed. “Forgot, my brother’s family is crashing in there tonight...and my parents are in the other guest room and my sister’s family is taking over the family room.”
“Don’t you have a bedroom?” you joked.
“True. I don’t want you getting the wrong idea though. I mean...you know what I mean,” he said.
“Just point me towards a shower and I’m good, Jens,” you said. He showed you towards his room and told you to take your time. Your jaw practically dropped when you were alone. His house was gorgeous but the bathroom was anyone’s dream come true. “Shit Jens. Somebody did well for themselves.”
You set your bag down on the empty vanity and pulled out your new clothes before hopping in the shower. You were pretty sure you would marry it if you could have but you didn’t want to waste all the water on Jensen and quickly were out and changing into some sweats and a tee shirt.
“I’m all set,” you said, giving Jensen a smile as he padded around in his bedroom.
“You got a hoodie?” he asked. You shook your head, Jensen walking into his closet and out a few seconds later, tossing one at you. “Take it.”
“Thanks,” you said. You gave him his privacy, catching his parents watching the kids in the family room. “Hi.”
“You owe me five bucks,” said his dad to his mom. “Told you those two would wind up together.”
“I was the one that said that!” she said, rolling her eyes.
“She’s delusional as always,” he said, standing up and giving you a hug. “How you doing kiddo? You got all grown up.”
“Yeah, been a few years,” you said, rubbing the back of your neck.
“Jensen said he ran into you a few nights ago. I’m so glad you two made up,” said his mom. “He could really use a good friend right now.”
“Grandpa, Daddy says he used to be best friends with Y/N,” said Harper, already face first into her Harry Potter book.
“We’ve known Y/N since she was your age, Harper. She practically lived at our house,” he said.
“She lived at your house?” she asked.
“It’s just an expression. I went over your daddy’s house a lot to play,” you said with a smile. “So, Jensen said fire in the backyard? Am I to assume the famous Ackles smores will be served?”
“You help pack up the kids for outside and we’ll get this thing going.”
“Hey, shrimp,” asked Josh a few hours later, the kids all up in bed in the house aside from Harper who was passed out on Jensen’s chest.
“Yes, Joshua,” you said, sipping on your beer.
“How’re Drake and Devin doing?” he asked. “We sort of fell out of touch when they moved up to New York.”
“Those guys are good. Off being lawyers. Shockingly enough they didn’t get in the NBA like they planned,” you said with a laugh.
“Wasn’t that the boys plan?” teased Mac. “Your older brothers were like super hot though.”
“Your older brothers were super hot,” you said.
“Josh was not hot,” said Jensen.
“When I was 14 and you got an older brother, he was pretty hot at the time, Jensen,” you laughed.
“I always knew shrimpy had a crush on me,” he said.
“Uh, no. That was reserved for someone else,” you said.
“I wonder who that could be,” said Jensen, pulling a yawn and stretch, putting his arm over your shoulders.
“How’s your dad doing, Y/N?” asked their dad. “He retired yet?”
“No. No. He’s still got a few years left he says. My brothers and I keep trying to get him to quit but we think he doesn’t want to sit in an empty house by himself,” you said.
“He never found anyone, did he,” said Jensen.
“No. After my mom got sick, he focused on us and on work. I think that’s part of the reason me and my brothers were always over your guy’s house so often. Dad was always working two shifts. You guys fed us dinner most nights of the week,” you said, pursing your lips, catching the look on his parents faces. “You knew that, didn’t you.”
“It was always obvious that you and Jensen had a special friendship,” said his dad. “You two were attached at the hip from day one. When you started coming over to play, we started noticing a few things. We had a conversation with your dad one night before he picked you up. We offered to help. He was reluctant but we found out what happened with your mom and he let us help eventually. That was around the time your brothers and Josh started playing together too.”
“I know,” you said, staring at the fire, feeling Jensen rub your shoulder. “The Ackles were always nice to the Y/L/N’s.”
“I’m gonna put Harper up to bed,” said Jensen, nodding for you to follow. “We’ll be back in a minute.”
He picked her up easily and brought her into the house, returning down to the kitchen with a smile after a moment.
“My sister in law is conked out but I think they’re fine,” he said, heading back for the back door. “You okay?”
“Yeah. Just remembering...when we fought, I sort of lost your family too,” you said.
“I know they’ve only tried to embarrass me about fifty times today but my family did always love you too, Y/N.”
“You love me?” you asked.
“I did. A friend love for sure. We still have to figure out the rest of this. I’m not ready to say it. I may never be,” he said.
“I enjoy just hanging out again,” you said. “Even if your family apparently made a lot of bets on us getting together.”
“You haven’t even heard half of them,” he chuckled. “Come on. I bet there’s still some smores left out there.”
Two Days Later
“Hi guys,” you said, spotting Harper and Taylor playing with some chalk in the driveway. “Where’s your dad?”
“He got a big letter in the mail. He went under the front porch,” said Harper, pointing down towards the front door, Jensen sitting at an outdoor table with his back to you.
“Alright. Well, your dad invited me over for dinner so I’m gonna go say hey and then I’ll be right back,” you said. You made sure they were okay on their own before you wandered down and poked Jensen on the shoulder, Jensen nearly jumping out of his seat. “Sorry.”
“Y/N, no, it’s fine. You’re early,” he said, looking at his watch. “Or not. Shit. Shit, I was supposed to have the food in the oven and those two need to get out of the sun.”
“Alright. You take a minute to yourself and I’ll get them inside and washed up, okay?” you said. Jensen nodded and you rubbed his arm as you walked past. You gathered up the kids, letting them show you where they kept their chalk in the garage, leading you inside and showing you around a little before you got them both washed up at the kitchen sink.
Jensen made his way inside by the time you were in the family room playing with them. He forced a smile on his face as he worked in the kitchen a moment, closing his eyes once he had the oven door shut.
You left the kids and wandered over, Jensen sighing as he shoved some papers back in a manila envelope.
“Jay...what happened?”
“She’s giving up custody. She filed the paperwork. All I have to do is sign apparently,” he said, running his hand over his face. “How the hell did I end up with a person like that?”
“Are they better off with or without her?” you asked.
“Without for sure,” he said.
“Then remember that. You love ‘em and that’s all they need right now,” you said. He nodded, letting a half-smile cross his face. “I’ll watch dinner and the kids. Go get your head on straight.”
“No, Y/N. I’m really okay,” he said.
“You’re really not. Go before I force your wimpy ass,” you said.
“Alright,” he said, gathering up the papers and taking a step out of the kitchen. “Y/N, I don’t know how you came back into my life at this exact moment but I’m glad you’re here.”
“Go on, Jens. I got everything covered.”
“Thanks for tonight,” said Jensen, the kids passed out in bed as you sat on his back porch.
“Just because you knew it was coming doesn’t make it easier,” you said.
“You knew your mom was sick when you were little, didn’t you,” he said.
“Yeah. My parents told us. I didn’t understand really, not until after she was gone,” you said. “You’ll be okay, Jay.”
“I know. I don’t know how to tell them,” he said.
“Tell them their mom isn’t able to be a mom anymore and leave it at that,” you said.
“Harper’s the one that’s old enough to ask questions,” he said.
“Don’t say anything until it’s final. Maybe when she’s back from her vacation, she’ll say something to them, alright? Try not to stress too much and just enjoy the few weeks without her.”
Two Months Later
“Ackles,” you said, ruffling Taylor’s hair as you walked into Jensen’s house after work. “Where’s daddy?”
“Harper’s room,” he said with a frown.
“Something happen?” you asked.
“She thinks daddy’s getting rid of us too,” he said.
“Oh, Taylor,” you said, picking him up. “Your daddy’s never getting rid of you. He loves you so much.”
“Mommy did,” he said.
“Come on, let’s go find those two,” you said, carrying him on your hip up to Harper’s room, Jensen scowling at her closed closet door. “I see it’s going well.”
“Harper. Y/N’s here,” said Jensen. The door flung open and she ran over to you, grabbing onto your leg.
“Make daddy stay,” she said.
“Stay where, sweetie?” you asked.
“Harper, I have to travel for work. It’s just a little while and I will be home every weekend,” he said.
“I hate you,” she said, letting go of you and storming down the hall.
“I got her,” you said, setting Taylor down and going down the stairs after her. She moved pretty fast for a five year old and you barely caught up to her before she could rush outside. “Hey, you know you’re not supposed to be outside without a grown up, Harper.”
“Can we live with you? Daddy’s going away too,” she said.
“Harper,” you said, picking her up and carrying out to the backyard, settling her in your lap on the oversized swing back there. “Daddy isn’t going anywhere. He has to travel for work. He won’t be gone too long and he’s going to call you every single day. I promise. He’s not going anywhere.”
“Are you?”
“No. No, I’m not going anywhere either,” you said.
“Are you still gonna come over every day?” she asked.
“Of course. You and me are gonna bake cookies and go swimming and ride bikes. We’re going to do all the stuff we do now. Your grandparents will be here during the day is all,” you said.
“Promise?” she asked.
“I promise, sweetie.”
One Week Later
“Alright,” you said, Jensen tossing his backpack on his shoulders. “You got everything you need?”
“Well, I can’t bring the other things I want,” he said with a smirk. “There’s a couple of short people around here I’d like to accompany me but otherwise, I’m good.”
“Text me when you land,” you said.
“Will do, sweetheart,” he said, pecking a kiss on your lips. “Y/N. You really don’t have to come over every day just to hang out with the kids.”
“I know I don’t have to, Jensen,” you said with a smile. “We’ll try not to destroy the house too badly.”
“Thanks,” he laughed. “I’ll talk to you in a few hours then.”
“Talk to you soon, babe.”

More Then a Woman | Frank Woods x Fem!Reader | Chapter 2
Summary:
The line of business brings Woods back to the CIA offices, only this time with his long time friend Alex Mason in tow. It's been quite some time since he's seen you, and in his mind, it's all for the better. But, when yet more errand work sends you on a mission to seek the Sargent out, and with a little help from Alex's social input, Woods is forced to brush against some rather confusing emotions.
Tags: Slow burn
Chpt 1 | Warnings: None except Frank and now also Alex's language
Woods and Mason walk leisurely through the halls of the CIA offices, making their way to the nearest exit after a status report with Hudson. Frank, who zoned out within roughly five minutes, is getting the abridged details from Alex. Something about a task force and the cold war, not much to go on yet, but Woods will take anything that isn’t pretending to be an average citizen all day.
Alex wraps up quickly and the two slip into friendly chatter. Most of which is snarky remarks at Hudson’s expense. As they go back and forth, Mason tells a good one that has Frank doing that hacking, bark of a laugh. He looks away to wipe a tear, committing the joke to memory so he can taunt Hudson with it later, but as Mason’s laughter begins to fade, a new sound fills Frank’s ear.
A pair thud quietly from down the hall in a half step pattern that could only indicate a pair of heels. Ever the ladies man, Frank’s gaze lingers a little longer to scout out who the approaching individual could be, only to see, to his terror, that it’s you.
“Who are you looking a-?”
“Fuck! Move”, Woods cuts Mason off with an urgent, but hushed voice before gruffly shoving him into a darkened side office.
He closes the door sharply, then whips around to peek through the blinds to see if they were spotted as Mason tries to steady himself. Alex dusts off his shoulders as Frank retreats further into the room beside him, “Alright, I don’t think anybody sa-”
“Woah woah woah, stop. The fuck is wrong with you, huh? What was that all about?”, Alex motions to the doorway, greatly and understandably annoyed.
Frank thinks for a moment. How can he explain this?
It’s been a few weeks now since he last saw you, which… was actually the first time he saw you… But, that’s all to his master plan of avoiding you, of course. It’s just, he really needs to find a way to patch things over with you. Ever since those parting few words he left you with, he's honestly surprised you didn’t sign his ass up for a psyc eval list. Damn, that’s the last thing he’d need. They’ll never let him hold a gun again if they got those shit show results back.
“So there, see? I just need to make sure she doesn't think I’ve lost my shit, and this whole thing can blow over. I’m just… not fucking sure what to say!”
Alex squints his eyes, trying to make sense of the bullshit he's just heard. The bad news is, his good old pal is one fucked up son of a bitch, but the even worse news is he doesn't have the time nor the patience to try and come up with something placating to say to the old Sargent. Instead, Mason settles for some reasoning and hopes it sticks.
“Look, if she hasn’t said anything yet, then I’m sure you have nothing to worry about. Now can we get out of this place?”, he takes a few strides towards the door and reaches for the handle, before being jerked back by Frank.
“Were you not fucking listening? It's too risky! Let’s at least let her get out of ear shot first, huh?”
“Did you fucking hit your head or some shit? I’m not waiting in here all day damn it! How about this, the faster we get out of here, the less chance you’ll have of running into her, ok? So we should leave. Now.”
Woods seems as though he’s about to protest, but Mason is already halfway out the door. The Sargent swears under his breath, but follows swiftly after his long time friend. For Frank’s sake, Alex sets the pace to a hustle as he power walks through the halls. So far, so good, as they weave around corners and hurry through the labyrinth of offices and meeting rooms, until…
“Sargent? Sargent Woods, wait a minute please!”
His heart flutters quickly at the sound of you calling his name, a sensation he hasn't experienced in... decades, at least. He thinks he’s never been so nervous for that to happen in his entire life. So, wh-?
“Ah, there you are”, you take a quick huff of air, a slight bit winded from the sprint you did to catch up, “Agent Hudson sent some papers down the line and I’ve been told to give them to you, he said you should still be in the building”
Hudson… Of fucking course.
Miraculously, Frank manages to bite back a few choice words he has in mind and accepts the document with a muttered thanks. He flips through it quickly while you and Mason strike up a quick conversation. It appears to be a transcript of the meeting the three of them just have, most likely kept on record for security purposes, but released to him ‘just in case’ he missed anything. His jaw twitches in agitation at the passive reprimand. Funny.
“-hat’s a nice dress you’ve got there… The color really brings out your eyes, you know”
A snippet of Mason’s conversation with you makes its way to Wood’s attention. You laugh politely and then with amusement as Alex bends down to get a good look at your irises, “In fact, they almost look… Yep! Wow... that is one beautiful shade of-”
Woods snaps the folder shut, shattering the mood, even as you shyly twirl a bit of your hair at the attention. “Alright, well thanks, but we gotta get going”, he makes a pointed look at Mason, before half leading, half dragging the man out after him.
Alex wrenches his arm free and shoots one more comment over his shoulder as he walks along, “Maybe some other time!”, he laughs. And as you giggle back and affirm that yes, that would be wonderful, Frank truly becomes concerned he might have a stroke from all the blood roaring in his ears.
At last, the pair finds their way outside and Frank starts to relax.
“Damn. You know, I’m not that type of guy or anything… But if I wasn’t married? ...Woof”
Woods stops dead in his tracks, and suddenly, he finds himself going from 1 to 1000 again. He whips around on his friend, “Hey, what the fuck Mason? ‘If I wasn’t married’, if you weren’t married what, huh? What's that shit supposed to mean?”, Frank gives Alex's shoulder a little shove, hard enough to stagger him, but gentle enough that it could be interpreted as playful.
Thankfully, Alex takes it as the latter. He rubs his shoulder in mock hurt, “Geez, calm the fuck down Frank, I’m just joking. And anyway, why do you care? Did you claim dibs when no one was looking?”
Alex walks on, thinking nothing of the comment as he does, instead a little bewildered at what’s come over his friend. It isn’t like him to get so defensive over just some woman. Not even if he was getting her in bed.
“Yeah… Well, maybe I just don’t think you should be saying shit like that, alright? Besides, you don’t even know her”, he jerks a thumb back towards the looming CIA offices.
Alex digs out his car keys, “Pft, know her? Like that’s ever stopped you before”, he scoffs. The two climb into Mason’s car as he starts the engine and buckles up. He sets one hand on the wheel and the other on the gear shift, before pausing briefly. Alex turns to Frank and takes a long look, “...Are you sure you’re feeling alright? You’re not acting like yourself Frank…”
The Sargent snorts, “Aw come on, the fuck are you talking about? I’m fine! Let’s just… Let’s get out of here, huh? Hanging around Hudson always fucks me up, you know?”
Mason sits back in his seat slowly, trying to decide if he buys the story. Maybe he doesn’t entirely, but he’s willing to let it go for now. “Heh, I hear that. How’s some beers sound?”
“You know what? Sure. Hey... but only if you’re buying!”, more barks of laughter escape him as they drive off. Honestly? He’ll take anything to not have to think about why he’s so fucked up over you right now.

Tony with first shy, virgin fem reader, who later in their relationship became tease and brat? Wanted to be chased, punished and later praised and softy kissed? 😍
Corruption you say??? Innocence turned kinky you say??? Bitch if this aint me! Ok, 18+ stuff ahead
Tony is v sexually experienced. He has tried several kinks, slept with so many different people. This also means he knows how to take care of you
It took a long time for Tony to be comfortable sleeping with you. You were the one trying to get him to sleep with you but your boyfriend insisted on working up to it as slowly as possible.
"Mm, well," Tony pulled away from you, "that seems like a place to stop."
You pouted and ground your hips against his. "Why?"
"Cause, we need to work up to it."
"But, Im ready," you whined. You snuggled into him and lazily pressed kisses against his neck. "Please, take me."
He stiffened under you, (in more than one way), and cleared his throat. "Sweetheart, soon, I promise." He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and stroked your hair. "Soon.”
You beg him for months, but he doesnt let up. Not until the two of you are engaged.
Tony had every detail planned for your engagement night. From the flowers, to the ring, to the music, to the bedroom. He was so sweet to you, and you were so happily surprised.
"What happened to our bed?"
He wrapped his arms around you and put his chin on your shoulder. "I had it set up." He kissed your cheek, the entire side of your face and neck. "Like it?"
There was music in the air, deep bases and muted beats. The bed itself was set with pink and red silken covers and multiple pillows. The lights were dim, romantic, and on the nightstand was a tray of snacks, water, and condoms.
You could feel your face heat up at the prospect. "We're doing it?" You asked.
"If you want to."
Tony was going to say something else, but you nearly tackled him with a kiss. He couldn't find more words after that.
There was so much love that night, from the sex itself, to the pleas and whines from both of you. He took his time, cherishing every inch of your skin. At first, you were trying to rush it, but when his shirt was off, you could see why he wanted to explore your body. You wanted to explore his
You made sure to trace every scar, kiss every bump, lump, and “imperfection” he had. While it was your first time, you wanted to make sure Tony knew you loved every single part of him.
The night didn’t end until both of you were properly loved and satisfied.
Afterward, the two of you found it difficult to not touch each other. While before having sex, the two of you were known for a bit of PDA, it got worse (or better).
Even if you were just leaving to get a drink, you had to kiss Tony goodbye.
Tony never left for a mission before calling you and ending the call with a promise to return and celebrate a mission complete with you.
It also may have resulted in both of you pulling the other into stairwells, supply closets, and really anywhere for a quick fuck.
With the door opened, you finally got to express yourself sexually.
“Hi, honey, got called in for a recon...” His eyes went wide at the sight of you. You weren’t bare, no. He could see a red bra strap that he definitely hadn’t seen before along with black choker necklace wrapped around your neck. “Oh, hello.”
You bit your lip. “Hi. Got a mission?”
“Unfortunately.” He licked his lips. “Mind just angling the phone down, just a bit?”
“Well, if you’re successful, you can see it all in person, right?” You fiddled with the choker around your neck, pulling it so it pinched the back of your neck. Letting out a gasp and exaggerating a moan, you told him, “Hurry.”
“Fucking hell.”
That was how it started. It became almost a tradition. Once every two or so weeks, you’d get a new ensemble for the bedroom and wait for Tony to get home.
But, you wanted to challenge him. The way he looked after a mission, still breathing hard and tense from mission, was so hot to you. And the sex. Oh, the sex after a mission well done was primal, unhinged, and you loved every second of it.
So... why not tease him a little. Just a little.
You weren’t in the bedroom when Tony came home. You were always in the bedroom. Already annoyed, he asked no one in particular, “Where is she?”
“The Miss has informed me not to tell you.”
“Jarvis?” He nearly growled. “That’s it?”
“She left this message.” Your voice filled the air. “Catch me if you can, Iron Man.”
God, he loved you.
With a smirk, he snatched his glasses and tapped the side of it. Your heat signature wasn’t in the kitchen, bathroom, or elevator. No, it was in the lab.
He rushed to find you lounging on a lab table, fidgeting with things you really shouldn’t be messing with. You didn’t look up when he entered, allowing him to take in the black lingerie set, showing off so much of your skin. You had a sheer, red-tinted shawl that was wrapped around your shoulders and fell just above your ass.
Tony would be fine just admiring you from afar.
“Finally.” You sighed and let your legs fall over the edge of the table. “Took you long enough.”
"Excuse me?” Fuck admiring.
Before you knew it, Tony had pinched your chin and forced you to look into his eyes as he asked, “You hide from me, and that’s the welcome I get?”
You couldn’t help the sly smile that graced your lips. “And what are you gonna do about it?”
His eyes darkened, and the hand that was holding your chin in place disappeared. Instead, his fingers wrapped snugly around your throat.
The sinful moan that left your lips was a sound you didn’t recognize. He whispered in your ear. “I’m gonna fuck you until you beg me to stop.” He kissed the side of your head, letting his lips linger on your skin. “What’s your safeword?”
“Blueberry.”
He hummed. “Good girl.”
Tony kept his word. It didn’t take long for you to beg when Tony was fucking you hard and fast.
And once you reached your high over and over and over again, the two of you were spent. Happy, but exhausted.
You kissed his cheek and snuggled into his neck. “Was I ok?”
“Ok?” He laughed and kissed your forehead. “You were stunning.” He looked you over. “I love all of this. Especially” -his hand cupped your mound- “this.”
You hummed and kissed him. “You did so well, too.”
Tony closed his eyes, seeming to relish in your words. “Gotta admit, I didn’t think you’d like that.”
“I learned a lot about myself by being with you.”
“Hm, like what?”
You contemplated for a moment. “I’m a badass, with great taste in partners.” You laughed. “And, I love sex.”
“Amen to that.” He pulled you closer to him. “And I love my innocent, sex fiend of a fiancee.”

Exothermic - chapter eleven
Amalthea vs Sam Uley
Tumblr media
"Ah fuck, Mal! Why'd you do that? I'm suffering from a deadly illness!"
Previous chapter
1,016 words
═ ∘♡༉∘ ═
School was surprisingly quite bland without the oversized teddy bear. It was quiet. Well, that is other than Jackson pestering her over when Trevor would be better and how he can not get sick because the game is in two weeks.
"Jesus Jackson, text your friend to complain." Amalthea referred to the boy by his first name, knowing he'll start his spiel of her not having to say his royal title every time she spoke to him.
"I did text him, Amalthea. He texted me back saying to bother you for him. Hence, me making it my life goal to pester you!"
"That bitch. He's getting his ass kicked when I see him later, I swear to god."
Jackson faltered in his speed walking, tilting his head toward the girl. "Why're you going over there, silly goose? You'll get sick!"
"Mr. Huber has a paper that Uley needs. That, and dumb-dumb asked me to yesterday. If I do him a solid, he'll just have to repay me." She winked at the blonde.
Jackson sighed, "Fine then. Wear a mask, though! Or you can't be around me, darlin'!" He ruffled her hair, dodging the hand she threw to slap him.
"Yes, because that would be so terrible." The girl mumbled, pushing Jackson away from her and going to the old truck Bella sat in. Jackson, of course, yelled that he'd see her tomorrow and to give Trevor a distanced hug for him. Amalthea replied with an indecent gesture that would make Charlie proud.
The two teenage girls rode back to Charlie's house in silence, the only noise being Thea fiddling with the zipper of her jacket.
"Bella, can we go to Uley's house first? I gotta give him homework and a punch for being a bitch. Kinda don't need Uncle Charlie seeing me deck a boy a week and a half into my stay."
Bella side eyed her and nodded, asking for directions that lead to the boys house.
Pulling up the stand alone house surrounded by trees, Thea pulled the papers out of her shabby bag and slammed the trucks door shut.
Feeling her feet sink into the wet grass, Amalthea walked toward the dark mahogany door that hid a teen boy and his mother behind it.
Laying three solid knocks onto the hard wood, Thea rubbed the pads of her thumb and fore finger together. She really hoped it was the idiot who answered the door and not his mother-- that would be uncomfortable.
Surely enough, Trevor Uley swung the front door open, grinning at the black haired girl standing on his porch. He opened his arms to take her in, not expecting the punch she gave his bicep.
"Ah fuck, Mal! Why'd you do that? I'm suffering from a deadly illness!" Trevor pouted, caressing the arm that fell victim to the assault.
"No touching me, Uley. You're sick and annoying." Amalthea stared blankly.
His jaw sank, arms crossing in an argumentative manner, "Mal you just touched me when you abused me! Which was totally uncalled for, by the way!"
"Well I had to do that, it was retribution for telling Jackson to annoy me since you're not there. So, yes-- very called for."
Trevor frowned, forgetting he told his friend to do such a thing.
Amalthea handed Uley the papers assigned as homework, immediately stepping back to keep a distance between the two. She was not a very nice person when sick, her dad would very much vouch for that.
"Mal, you're the bestest best friend in the world!" He smiled exaggeratedly, hugging the homework to his body, "I'm gonna love have death by calculus on my tomb stone!"
Amalthea rolled her eyes at the boy, turning on her heels to walk back to the truck. Trevor called out for Thea, causing for her to stop mid twist, eyebrow raised in question.
"We've got two weeks till the game, pretty please with a cherry on top go! What if I'm still sick and dying by then?" He gave her puppy dog eyes, silently pleading for her to cave in.
Thea scoffed at the look he was giving her.
"If you're not dead and leave me alone, I'll think about it." She yielded.
Trevor jumped from his spot, moving to bombard her with a giant hug. Thea tutted, pushing him away again with all her strength.
As the two were having a conversation with one another about who-knows-what, Isabella Swan drummed her fingers on the steering wheel, wishing for her cousin to hurry up. Staring at the trees, searching for something that will give at least a little entertain, Bella noticed a rustling in the trees that couldn't have been made from the wind blowing. Seeing a flash of color speed through the trees, Bella gave into her antsy feeling and laid a small beep on the horn, signaling for her cousin to wrap it up.
Amalthea and Trevor saw Bella oddly anxious, spotting a certain stalker-ish brother walking up the drive way soon after.
"You've got to be fuckin' kidding me dude." Trevor grunted under his breath, turning to Thea. Her gave her a look that said, 'see!'
As much as she wanted to stay and laugh at the weird conversation Uley would have with his brother, Bella honked her horn once again.
Toeing her way down the stairs and away from Trevor, Thea looked the oldest Uley in the eye as she passed by.
Sam Uley glared at Amalthea as she walked backwards to the truck, watching as she struggled to hold in a snort. She made eye contact with Trevor, who mouthed 'See, I told you! Stalker!' to her. Smirking, she twirled on her toes and leapt over a puddle to the passenger door.
Dramatically making a show of settling into the seat and buckling herself in, Thea blew a kiss to Sam and gave a sarcastic smile to Trevor, who's face started going pink from holding in a chuckle. It didn't go unnoticed how quickly Bella left from the boys house-- turning back once, only to see Sam eyeing her moodily.

part one , part two, part three
Not once you had the heart to block his number, even after you blocked him from all of your social media. You hoped that by leaving this one door open, he will find a way to come back to you, or at least reach out to you again. Your legs were exerting heat, pumping your muscles to make you walk faster so that you can reach your home as soon as possible. With the constant gasping for air, vibrating through your body, you didn’t realize the faint vibration of your phone, lighting up with a notification from daichi <3. Grabbing your keys from your bag, unlocking the door while kicking your sandals off from your feet. You opened your sliding door, letting the spring breeze fill up your atmosphere. What a nice way to cool down your body. You dug your hands into your bag, fumbling to find your phone. Unconsciously, you unlocked your phone without seeing the notifications that popped up, skimming through your apps, and seeing whatever apps had the number badge on them. The last app you scrolled to was your messages. Your heart skipped a beat when you saw the number one on the top corner of the icon. You pressed it, heart pounding, excreting cold sweats from your fingers. There, you saw his message.
“It was nice seeing you at our shop. If you’re free tomorrow, can we catch dinner together?”
Einstein is right, time and space are gravity because you can feel your insides starting to churned then float away, as your time stopped and your spatial awareness came to halt as well. It was as if the universe let this moment freeze for you, to take in whatever you are seeing and experiencing right now. You should’ve listened to what your mind and friends said back then, block him everywhere. Don’t leave a hole for him to come into your life again. You know this is going to hurt either way but you want to be done with it once and for all. You both need proper closure, and not some petty teenager’s love quarrel.
“You too. I’m free tomorrow”
“Great, see you at our shop at 8?”
Daichi replied instantly like he was waiting on his phone for your reply. You don’t want to show too much enthusiasm, especially when things are going to end anyway, so you thumbs-upped his last text, letting him know you agree to his suggestion. You wanted to cringe so badly that Daichi kept referring to the coffee shop as our shop but you couldn’t. In fact, you found it very sweet and a bit romantic. You plopped down onto your bed, creating scripts in your head to all the possible scenarios that could happen between the both of you tomorrow, not forgetting to include her. Be strong y/n, you got this. You have to. You gotta move on.
7:30. You slipped the black silk dress that you wore on your first date with Daichi, just so you can rewrite the memories of this dress, removing bits and pieces of him in your life. You tied your hair into a low ponytail and started making your way to the shop. Upon reaching the shop, you were greeted by Daichi’s figure. It made your heart flutter seeing him dressed up so nicely as well. It gave you proof that it wasn’t a one-sided effort to make the date look like a proper one. A date, huh…
You both sat down at a secluded spot so you can have a more private conversation. Things were too uncertain, both of you prepared for the polar opposite of each other’s expectations. Daichi wanted to start over while you wanted to end everything once and for all. You both placed your order, starting off with some small awkward small talk, trying to lighten up the air. While waiting for the food to come, Daichi mustered up all his courage and started the conversation that you both came for.
“Y/n, I know this is going to sound stupid and crazy coming from me, but I couldn’t help it. I want to know, hell, I need to know. It’s been six months since we broke up but have you ever thought of getting back together?”
You gasped at his audacity to ask you that while he was in a relationship. It never crossed your mind how Daichi could stoop any lower but he just proved you wrong right in your face. You straighten your back, eyes looking straight into his eyes, trying to find any guilt within them. None. You could feel his sincerity. What the hell is going on?
“Daichi, if you want me back just because you have no one, I don't want it. What you want is someone that listens to you - a dumb bitch that listens - as to how you said it. I’ve heard enough for today Daichi. I don’t think I could take anything more than this. Focus on your girl. You can be mean towards me but to the very least I don't want you to be a cheater for her. I came here to get some type of closure with you. Seems like I got it now”
Your tongue worked faster than your brain could even process it. Not enough time to even register and consider how Daichi - or at least you - would feel if someone would throw the exact words to you. Before you knew it, your eyes started to pool. You dashed out from the shop before the tears came pouring down in front of Daichi. You left before you could hurt yourself even more. You know you hurt Daichi but it hurts you more than you anticipated. For once, why couldn’t you follow what your heart really wants, what it has yearned for so long, all this time?
You walked through the main street of your house, the same old usual route. The street was pretty bright, given the new street lamps just got placed along the road but being a woman in this god-forsaken world, you can never be too prepared. You placed your thumb on the circle button of the app the whole time. If you suddenly released it and if you didn’t touch the circle within a few seconds, it will automatically call your emergency contacts. Such a smart thing, you thought to yourself but what you failed to notice was a drunk man starting to close his distance, moving towards you.
You were greeted by the sudden jerk on your shoulder. A drunk man putting his hands around your shoulder, started to massage your arms, feeling your flesh through your jacket. You froze and pushed his hands off, bowing to him and saying sorry that you’re in a hurry. He grabbed your wrist with a force that you know will leave blue marks. You were so scared that he would swing his bottle at you if you tried to fight longer. In all of the days, you were always careful. Your frustration with Daichi made you drop your guard slightly and someone took the chance. You repeatedly asked the drunk man to let you go, lying that your husband is around and going to pick up you soon. He inches his face in closer, opening his mouth as if wanting to slobber you whole. You felt disgusted by the strong pungent smell of alcohol and just wished Daichi was here. Wishing you had at least someone to walk you home. Why the world was so cruel to you lately. Why can't you ever feel safe and peacefully enjoy this week?
“Y/N!”
Daichi shoved the man aside, took your hand, and started to run. You followed his steps as best as you could. After Daichi deemed it was safe enough, he stopped. Huff and puffs, hands still interlocked with each other.
“Are you okay!? Thank God I made it in time. Oh my God. I shouldn’t have let you walk alone in the night. Are you hurt anywhere?”
Before you could even answer, tears gushed down your cheeks. You wailed and sobbed your heart out. You placed your head into Daichi’s chest, clasping his shirt to find any form of comfort. Maybe this was something that needed to happen for you to be fully open and vulnerable with Daichi. He hugged you tightly, hushing sweet nothings into your ears. It's not that you were crying about what just happened, it's more like the mere thought of Daichi in that situation makes you cry your heart out. Even when your life was threatened, you still managed to remember Daichi. But is this the right choice? Daichi rubs your shoulders gently.
“Come on, let's get you back home”
He opened your apartment’s door, guiding you to sit down on the couch. He went into your bedroom and wrapped a blanket over your body. He placed the takeouts on the kitchen counter, making his way to make some tea to calm you down. You sit down on the couch, hugging your knees. Daichi plopped down, folded one of his legs, and faced his body to you. You couldn’t bring yourself to look at his face, so grabbed your mug and hugged your fingers around it.
“How come you were there?”
“I chased you after you left. I think we have some misunderstanding so I wanted to go to your house and talk again. I’m so glad that I followed you, even though it was a bit late... I’m sorry”
You finally look at Daichi. Concerned, fear, disappointment painted clearly across his face. Before you could open your mouth, he continued.
“Y/n, I'm not sure why you kept saying ‘her’ and ‘my girl’ repeatedly so I tried to trace back to the first meeting. I saw you in the lobby and by that time, I was with my twin cousin. She just got this job recently and she asked me to come for lunch and show me around. I swear she's family and nothing more.”
How is it that Daichi never fails to see through you, even if it took him a bit of time? You covered your face with your mug. Heat started rising up your cheeks and up to your ears. It's getting really hot and it’s not coming from the blanket. So much for wanting to act like a grown-up and not having some petty love quarrel. You almost ended your only chance of getting back together by some childish assumptions. Oh, how you wish the earth could swallow you whole and never let you out. Daichi tucked your hair back to your ears, gently pulling your hands into his, placing them in between his.
“Hey, was that the reason you left the shop? I’m hurt y/n”
A sprinkle of sarcasm was woven into his words. You know it but you can't help that as if a whole block of weight slipped through your shoulders as you sighed into relief. He squeezed your hands firmer, signaling things are going to get even more serious.
“Y/n, I want you. I still love you. I never stopped loving you. When you left, I couldn't feel anything. I eat and sleep just because I have to. It kept me alive. Remember when we met at our shop? That was the first time I started running again, picking up my routine back. I want our relationship to work. I want us to work.”
“Daichi, I’m scared to start again. I hate that I keep contradicting myself. I don't want anything with you but when I got caught by that man, all I could think was you”
“I know y/n. I’m sorry that you have to go through that but I want to give us another chance if you let me. I know I ended it badly but I feel like I rushed to a decision that I didn't even want. If there's still some love left inside you, please let me in again. Please let me make us work.”
You squeezed Daichi’s hands, finding some strength that you could borrow from him. You pushed his arms and placed them over your shoulders, placing your head against his chest, snuggling soundly in his embrace. You took a deep breath, inhaling his scent, mixed with his musky perfume. The scent of home.
“Okay, Daichi. I want us to start again. I still love you. I will always love you”
He kissed your hairline, pulling your body flushed into his. His hug tightened quickly as if you’re going to go away if he held any looser. You chuckled as you pat his arms, reassuring him that you won't leave him. You straightened up your body and kissed his cheeks. Pink tint painted across Daichi's nose and cheeks.
“Do you wanna stay here for the night? It's already late and it's the weekend tomorrow anyways, if you don't have any work that is”
“I would love to”
Daichi stood up and took your hand, tugging your body towards your bedroom. He laid you down first before he placed himself beside you, draping his arms around your waist, foreheads touching each other. You both looked into each other eyes, finally seeing the love that was long hidden by other emotions.
“Good night Daichi”
You snuggled into his chest, listening to his heartbeat as if it was your lullaby for tonight. He stared at you before he moved his lips to kiss the crown of your head, whispering the words that you longed for.
“Good night sweetheart. I love you. Forever and always”
