• mary doesn't like it, he becomes a weakness for her son and when she leaves she refuses to take andrew with them, so nathaniel stays, and in that mary never really gets to leave

• on the same day she fails at running away and nathan finds them, nathaniel loses his eye lolastyle

• one time when he's a little older, andrew receives a letter, from a boy who claims to be his twin. andrew minyard doe throws it to the fire, and nathaniel picks it up while he's turned, before it burns completelly

• from the day nathaniel gets injured because he refused to leave andrew behind, they go from annoyed acquaintances to inseparable friends

• he calls andrew "drew" and andrew pretends to hate it. later when theyre older the name "nathaniel" starts to weight, starts to sound weird, so he asks andrew to call him something else, and andrew calls him alex, stefan, adam, until they get to neil

• but he only calls him neil when theyre alone, when its a secret, when nathan cant hear them

• "nathaniel" takes up the axe. he's as good a hitman as the little devil of baltimore has to be. he hates it, hates the color red, the color of his hair

• one of andrew's first memories at the house is of nathan cutting a man to pieces and making him watch, making him learn not to flinch, but red is the color of neil's hair, soft, safe, soothing

• kevin day leaves them, and neil realises he doesnt have to be kept either. kevin day gets to get out and nathaniel wesninski gets quieter.

• riko moriyama is going to make a big announcement soon, something about the perfect court, something that will finally brand the rest of them as his, and well, andrew has always told neil how much he hates that the pen's ink makes the skin of his face break out

• and neil still has the address of a boy who claims to be his andrew's twin

• for whatever reason the moriyamas and the wesninskis have one of those rich people dinners planned. neil gets kevin to show up, nathaniel gets andrew to leave, kicking and punching and a promise broken

• later in the night, a little after the first course is served and they begin the socializations, neil gets kevin to leave, leave, run as far as possible, *now*.

• he sees jean, grabs his wrist, and takes him outside. theyre walking fast before neil starts running, and then the explosion comes from inside the house, from the basement, and knocks both of them out before they turn the corner. the hathford's men long gone from the scene.

• all renee walker and andrew doe see from where he's been waiting for the little voice at the back of his mind to make sense, is the house bursting on fire, believing that it does so with what he's supposed to protect still inside

• but since i can't bring myself to do this to them, andrew finds him, finds jean, and at the hospital finds stuart, who takes his nephew in

• he gets contacted by a man called david wymack, who was convinced by kevin day to offer them a place among his foxes :)

Gambit just got back from the void so he's just now meeting everyone. He looks a little different from how they remember since their gambit really was never a full team mate and rather then just some guy that helped Logan a couple of times. This being said hes meeting Rouge as a 35 year old linguistics teacher for a bunch of brats, flirting with her in the halls, trying to impress her all the time, etc. He wanted to have a cool class like how to use a Bo staff or tutor energy weilding kids but instead got stuck with sex ed. Because of this, he now makes a ton of jokes to Rouge about it (she's across the hall) but actually is really excited to start his cooking elective class this coming fall when he's considered a real team member.

Ororos heals click in the hall like they did when you were a kid and you could tell the principal is coming. She's almost always with a tea or a coffee, walkie talkie and keys jingling. She's very sweet but kids shit their pants if sent to Mrs. Munroes office, meanwhile Mr. Summers office is a nothing, just a lecture and a slap on the wrist. Aint no one actually scared of lasik because they know thw worst theyll get is community work for a couple of weeks but they ligit cry the second theyre sent to munroe's (especially if they know theyre guilty of a big prank or something)

The school gives out free hygiene products and depending on what you need you can special request it.

If students get too angry they are sent to Piotr's art room for art therapy. He surprisingly is very artistic and chill.

Forges shop class is working on a car with no weight limit and that can handle their heavy hitters (Colossus and Wolverine) both in the same car (most bust) as well as a car made from plastic recycling. They're working on it. Its only blown up once!!

Gambit makes breakfast for the staff and some students of they beg enough. He keeps bringing Rouge the first cup of coffee from the pot and has made her pancakes shaped like hearts multiple times. Watching her stab them and smother them make him... giggle helplessly.

He's very respectful towards her, though and sometimes is a bit (COUGH a lot COUGH) of a kiss ass.

Hank's students have blown up the lab at least 4 times by now. One of those times was Wades fault for touching stuff he wasn't supposed to.

Kurt is very glad that Wade has taken over his Duel weaponry/swordsman class, so now he has time to start working out a pitch for a world's religion class+ sunday school. He still runs a fencing club, though.

Peter (quicksilver) has tried so many different positions, including music teacher of all different instruments. Now he just kinda lounges around in the game room and speed cleans the mansion after each day in like 2 minutes flat. Imagine being paid a full salary just for 2 minutes of work? And you get to live somewhere for free and play games all day? Fuck yeah.

Positions I've been thinking about:

Beast (Dr. Henry "Hank" McCoy) is the Vice-Principal, so he does orientation. He has multiple science classes, including biophysics, and has electives in philosophy and poetry.

Colossus (Piotr Rasputin) is an art teacher and handles art therapy

Gambit (Remy LeBeau) runs a sex-ed class and is hoping to soon get approved to run a cooking class next semester.

Nightcrawler (Kurt Wagner) has a fencing elective as well as a religion class, sunday school, and sometimes helps Morph with drama/theater. (Ex duel weaponry instructor)

Rogue (Anna Marie) is a Linguistics teacher who drabbles in social science. “Diction and Linguistics, with Professor Rogue” She can teach just about any language, but russian/german/ french/ spanish and Japanese are her main ones. She's who you go to if you dont understand English and need help. Almost all foreign students have her.

Cyclops (Scott Summers) is the headmaster. He has classes in Geometry, has an elective for leadership and communications (PFFT) as well as being the schools mobility/disability specialist. He, of course, specializes more with children who have trouble with their eyesight.

Storm (Ororo Munroe) is the Headmistress. She has an Environmental Science and Political Science class as well as a multi cultural elective.

Shadowcat (Katherine "Kitty" Pryde) has a comp-sci class and runs an ethics class.

Wolverine (Logan Howlett) is a(n occasional hand to hand combat/ martial arts) PE instructor. (Ex History teacher)

Morph is the director of drama acting and disguises (duh)

Laura is a graduating student In training under the Wolverine (Gabby is a student and is too young to be an understudy)

Yukio graduating student In training Under Storm or Rouge (I can't decide)

Negasonic teenage warhead (Ellie) graduating student In training under Jean Grey.

Mr. Wade Wilson (Deadpool) Is in training under Colossus. Duel weaponry/ swordsman tactics class instructor (plus whatever Logan's doing, he's very nosey and WILL cause issues if bored)

Jean Grey is an english teacher, has a class on psychology, and drabbles in physics.

Ice man (Bobby) is the school financal advisor/accountant and runs a business elective class.

Forge is a Shop teacher.

Quicksilver (Peter maximoff) Janitor, housekeeping, music teacher, replaced original Logan as PE teacher for a while, target practice, teaches fast kids how to avoid running into walls, always in the game room, stock/ errand boy, gets bored super quickly, sports instructor, Read almost all the books in the library, likes swimming, mainly just lays around waiting for something fun to do, his father causes trouble sometimes which he thinks is entertaining but also hella embaressing.

I'm unfortunately left without a history teacher, so shoot me any ideas :)

So we got the ROs rank for cunning, but what about charisma? 👀

Hmmm. Shit this may be difficult to answer ngl. Its why i kept it in mah back pocket for a time. Ill answer it two ways. Charisma for peacetime vs charisma for wartime.

PEACETIME (Administration and vassal relationship matters):

Nysthe: Hands down has the highest CHA of all the characters for peacetime relations. She can talk to people and razzle dazzle their pants and skirts off, and she can make sure vassals listen and want to do what she asks.

Amina: Princess of a kingdom herself, and student of her mother Queen Khari, Amina has learned the ins and outs of leadership and public speaking. You can count on her to handle CHA shit without worry.

Edward: Though reserved and quiet, our boy here is respected by all. As the third highest CHA, with a high INT, Edward is balanced and seemingly has no weaknesses when it comes being depended on to lead or hold discussions with vassals or other parties. A solid administrator.

Voryn: His mother is the Grand Vizier, and through her he has learned much in the way of handling vassals and nobles. Coupled with his natural charisma, Voryn could have been 3rd, but his arrogant attitude towards nobles he doesnt like (theyre alot) it brings him down to 4th.

Lucina: Beauty and charm are her weapons and Lucina knows how to utilize them well, earning her 5th place. Balls, banquets, and parties may not seem like a battlefield, but to Lucina, they are. And she wins those battles, regularly. In terms of administration, Lucina is weaker than the other ROs. But for a Politician MC, Lucina is a top tier partner to have in executing your intrigue. Would be third place if this were for that field.

Mary: Empathy goes a long way, enough for Mary to be 6th. Her ability to feel what the other person is feeling lends itself well to hearings, discussions, and leading. She is more of a listener, and sometimes, listening is better than speaking.

Cheris: An imperial noblewoman through and through, she knows how to handle herself when it comes to CHA matters. Her main weakness however, is having no fucks in calling other people out. She is too direct. Yet, like Lucina with Politics, Cheris would be higher placed if this were for Tycoon. Then, Cheris's head for numbers would show.

Veriel: He has a natural CHA that should propel him higher on the list, but the list is for administration and vassal matters. Sadly, Veriel is quite average in that department, and is outshone by the other ROs in this list. However, Veriel be much higher in the next list that deals in wartime as a leader of soldiers.

Astrid: {RETRACTED}

Zera: Son of the Kin, an outsider, and a grumpy sort of fellow, Zera is hilariously not the guy to send for handling vassals or managing people during peacetime lmao.

Max: Do not. Just don't. Your vassals will believe you're fucking with them by sending them a commoner.

WARTIME (As a leader of war):

Voryn: His men would follow him to the gates of hell. He knows how to talk to a soldier, he fights alongside them, and he makes sure their salaries always come through, even at the expense of the nobility. He has the loyalty of his soldiers, and his soldier's has his. Voryn leads from the rear and only comes to the front at critical moments.

Max: A man of the common soldier. A jumped up commoner who somehow clawed his way to the top of the imperial ranks, and his men love him for it. Beloved by his soldiers for his easy to approach attitude and reputation as a father to his men, Max is a ridiculously effective wartime leader, and decisive when others would balk. He and Voryn are neck and neck in their rankings. Max leads from the fore, and tries to break the enemy before the weakness of not having a commander directing in the rear becomes apparent.

Zera: It is only in the fires of war that Zera can showcase what a great leader he is in the face of adversity. Kin or not, Zera inspires the people around him, and he will soon create a loyal following of soldiers. He is a fair and just leader, and Zera's soldiers can expect him to protect them from malicious officers or nobles. Zera leads from the rear, coming out to the front when critical moments in batle occur.

Veriel: Like a good hunting dog that only feels alive when on the hunt, but lazy and fat when staying indoors, so is Veriel. As someone who worships King Uriel, and seeks to emulate him, Veriel will prove himself leading in battle. He has a strong battle voice, and the soldiers listen to it, as they love his larger than life persona. Of course, he leads from the fore as would King Uriel.

Edward: Again, Edward proves himself to be a balanced and solid leader who can and will meet any expectations thrust upon him. His soldiers respect him, and know they can trust him to lead on to victory. Edward as a leader is more of the logistician type. He will always make sure his soldiers are well fed and stocked, and for this, they follow him. He leads from the rear.

Amina: If this were a leadership ranking for naval combat, Amina would be third place. However, this is overall, and she faces exceptional individuals who excel in too many other facets of wartime leadership. Thus, Amina is an average, yet solid leader. She has no real weaknesses to exploit, aside from a lack of experience. She leads from the rear.

Mary: She was trained by her father, and by Master Feren on matters of war. As such, Mary is an average leader to follow in war. She can command a battalion, but an entire army would prove difficult unless she gains more experience. She leads from the rear.

Nysthe: Wartime is not her forte, and she knows this. So, she does what someone should do, and delegate. And she delegates well. She knows who to choose, and who to listen to. Nysthe will not be a commander, so she does not lead from the rear or fore.

Lucina: Only by virtue of her brother Veriel, and his constant talks regarding war and chivalry, does Lucina have some clue on how to lead people in times of duress. However, she considers herself a lady first, and does not ascribe to the martial side of her people's culture. Will also not be a commander, so she does not lead from the rear or fore.

Cheris and Astrid: As imperial noblewomen, these two have a grasp of martial matters that will help them understand basic necessities required of a leader of war. But the two are below average in this field, and are better suited for other expeditions.

A while ago I had a lot of different types of pants I wanted and was getting frustrated trying to find them and also trying to figure out how to acquire them all without buying anything redundant to my wardrobe... Well Ive finally figured it all out and Im so excited Im going to tell you about my plans- all of these have some element of diy so youre not just reading a shopping list:

I wanted those black cargo jeans with the white contrast seams, this is what was giving me so much trouble to find. I did finally find some but they needed hemmed (as ALL of my pants do, 5'3" problems), but I didnt have time to before college, and I DEFINITELY didnt want to hand sew them, so i just held the hems up with some safety pins I had. I only used two on each leg tho so the hems were still coming unfolded, and well you know me I liked the safety pins so much I just decided to add a bunch more. Like Studded the Whole Hem with Them -more. And that inspired me to eventually turn these into crust pants. I dont have many patches atm but I dont want that many on the pants themselves, and I do want a battle jacket* to go with them. They dont have the painters(?) loops on them so I also want to add those, and the seams are extremely itchy so the waistband needs lined with something softer so Im no longer forced to ALWAYS tuck my shirt in with them.

*Battle jacket: I already had this idea as a tween and started putting ALL my pins and patches on this one vest I have, but its so messy I never wear it. Im going to take the ones I actually want to wear and get a black jacket for them to match the jeans. The vest can stay and hold on to some of the more fun ones, the rest I will probably just give away bc theyre not worth selling.

Copia jeans: holy shit I want these so so so so so so bad 😭 Luckily I have a base to diy them- my current ripped black jeans that I was not at all careful with and completely shredded the elastic, which at first I was sad about but for their new purpose it totally works! And the cut is similar enough for me. Now all I need is matching black fabric to go underneath the rips and something to make the crotch corset (but I want it to just be topical somehow bc even a shitty #fashon button fly is faster than having to painstakingly unlace them every time I have to piss).

Mary jeans: if you dont know already Im putting together a lil Mary goore cosplay and my current jeans^ just arent it, but Im less sure about what I want here. Obviously I want something I can get the most wear out of and still have it look accurate, but I dont really like tight pants. We will just have to see, bc Ive looked a little bit and havent found anything yet.

Patchwork jeans: Ive wanted these for a while and they would also be good to diy (bc I think theyre starting to go "out" and already have in stores) I just need enough different base fabric. I do have a lot of old worn out jeans but as for the colors I definitely dont have any super pale denim.

Current jacket: I want to put something spacey on the backpiece, space is like "my thing" and this is my "signature jacket" so I want to combine them but idk how yet.

Possum cosplay(???): theres a meme on here about wearing a possum outfit and as soon as I saw it I was inspired but I need pretty much every single piece so this is pretty low on the priority list lol 💀

• before he started dating you, he actually had no clue how to cook anything that wasnt super simple like boxed pasta

• in the early stages of the relationship he took cooking classes to get better and while hes not a professional, he can make you some pretty good homemade meals

• in return, you like to exercise your hobby for baking and make him a lot of sweet treats

• he loves watching competitive baking/cooking shows and no one can tell me otherwise

• peter knows what having a panic attack is like so he for sure will help you out and have techniques and methods for you to try when you’re having one yourself

• he’ll put a pad in your underwear for you so it’s all ready to go when you need it

• he’ll warm up a heating pad as soon as you ask

• peter is like a human furnace so you like to lay on top of him like he’s a living heating pad for your tummy — he enjoys it very much

• he drives you to your therapy appointments and waits in the car until youre done

• he never asks what you talk about in therapy but you usually tell him anyway

• you’ve basically christened every single room in his apartment

• he might not like every single hobby you have or everything you have an interest in but he’ll always participate if you ask and you do the same for him

• you own skin safe markers and sometimes when you get bored you like to color in his tattoos. he actually really enjoys it and finds it relaxing

• speaking of tattoos

• when he realizes that you’re the one for him and that he wants to be with you for the rest of his life, he gets a tattoo of your initials on his arm

• when you find out about the tattoo you immediately book an appointment for yourself so you can get his initials tattooed on your hip or maybe your wrist

• when he sees it for the first time he thinks its so sexy that you have his initials permanently on your skin that he makes you orgasm like 5 times

• he knows you love homemade personal care products (soap, bath bombs, things like that) and will buy them for you all the time

I like the part in Bowers where they find the room full of cats. That part is just so sweet.

I forgot they went to Alaska during 25x25! The fact that they got stuck on the side of the road in freezing cold temps like that and probably could've been in real danger but was saved by a random fan (and then gave that fan Colby's pants?!) is such a Sam and Colby thing to happen, I swear 🤣.

Some of the 25x25 videos are great, but the ones at the end where they ran out of steam and confidence and uumph are probably best left unwatched. The Seychelles videos are ok, I guess, but pretty much anything they did in Vegas is just...meh.

I wish they had followed through with their original vision for it - we would've gotten Colby's song as an episode, Sam's marathon as an episode, them learning how to ride motorcycles and taking a road trip...that would've played out much differently if they were able to fully see it through.

Ah, well. What can ya do.

Anyway, Nate! We love Nate. Nate is the absolute cream of the crop of people they bring with them (imo). He's so chill and works so well with them and with the camera.

just woke up with the weirdest dream imaginable. i call these nightmares bc i have no control over them. i usually have control over what happens in my dreams but i was overheating tonight (three long sleeve shirts and a heated blanket with flannel pants on)

anyways:

the ship also had a name and i completely forgot what it was when i woke up bc again: i had no control. it was smth like The queen's [__] or the mary [__]. maybe it was the mary queen but i dont think so. it was yellow tho. also the rat was mark ruffalo and he told the news it was himself who was driving the truck. and the real guy who was driving the truck was matthew perry (rest in peace). and i didnt get to it, but i was the iron dragons rider.

in my dream i covered matthew finding out hes delivering the iron dragon to an island off portugal, the news story, matthew visiting some of his family (? three old ladies in a penthouse restaurant in new york) before theyre to set off for their journey to portugal. an explosion happens in the car park and before matthew and i (this is also where i just magically appeared into the storyline starting in first person before i realised i was even there and then moving to third when i did) can even sit down. we run to the elevators and the waiter there goes "psst you can use the super fast secret elevator in the mens bathroom" (this is where i change to third person) anyways we hop into the secret elevator supposed to be for one person at a time and i hold matthews hand the whole way down. then i woke up.

to me im thinking my premonitional nightmare was a bit slow abt telling me smth is going to happen. usually after a weird dream like this i look up the starring roles a few days later and smth significant has happened. the last one was a car crash dream with hyunjin and a week later he was put on hiatus for the bullying allegations.

   Maria looked behind her as she heard the door open, hearing Carol come in as she shut the door. Maria raised an eyebrow, peeling the potatoes before her as she spoke up.

   “Hey, did you get all the rest of the stuff for dinner?!” Maria called, and Carol quickly came into the kitchen, setting the groceries down on the table as she paused next to it. She thought for just a moment, and Maria knew she was mentally checking off her list to make sure.

   “Yeah. Carrots and the pinto beans, right?�� Carol checked uncertainly, and Maria nodded.

   “Thank you,” Maria expressed, and Carol hummed a response.

   There were a few beats of an oddly restless silence before Carol finally spoke up again.

   “Y’know, you can de-escalate any situation by simply saying, ‘Are we about to kiss?’” Carol declared. Maria furrowed her brow, confusion in her gaze as she paused and tried to decipher what exactly that Carol meant by that.

   “Doesn’t work for getting out of speeding tickets, by the way,” Carol added on. Maria instantly lowered her knife, turning to look at Carol as she gaped at her in shock.

   “You did not,” Maria stared, and Carol paused as she smiled at her.

   She hung her leather jacket on the back of the chair before somewhat playfully ambling over to stand next to the woman that was her older sister. Carol reached into her pants pocket, holding up her ticket between two fingers as she kept her smile steadfast.

   “I did,” Carol admitted, and Maria groaned deeply, closing her eyes as she let her head fall back a little.

   Carol had been so reckless lately, and it was leaving Maria especially on edge. She could not take the thought of Carol endangering herself, and she was honestly curious as to what was going on with her best friend that would cause her to be acting like this.

   “Hey, look, it wasn’t that bad,” Carol tried to assure her, and Maria moved her head back down as she continued in peeling the potatoes sitting on the counter before her.

   “He even looked like he was considering it for a second. He was an older guy, though. But he made me think of Sam Elliot, so I’d be into it. The grits in his mustache is a little bit of a turn-off, though” Carol commented, and Maria narrowed her eyes at her as she met her far-too-lighthearted eyes. Maria pointed the knife at her.

   “Well, you should’ve had to kiss him, grits and all,” Maria scolded, and Carol shook her head.

   “Why’re you so upset? It’s just a speeding ticket,” Carol shrugged, putting the ticket in the little jar on the counter where all of the loose change, receipts, and whatnot ended up.

   “This is your third one this month!” Maria cried, raising her voice a little as she grew more agitated, and Carol raised her hands, furrowing her brow just a little.

   “Hey, calm down. It’s not that big of a deal,” Carol tried to assure her, and Maria let out a sharp breath, stopping in her chopping.

   “It’s not the tickets!” Maria argued, and Carol looked at her, completely confused.

   “Then what is it?!” Carol demanded, raising her voice a little as she met Maria’s tone. Maria clenched her jaw a little before putting her knife down sharply as it clanged against the counter. Carol stopped, looking at her.

   “Carol, your need for speed is going to get you killed, and I don’t,” Maria trailed off sucking in her lips between her teeth and looking down before releasing them.

   “I can’t lose you,” Maria confessed. Maria looked at her, looking into those warm eyes that were not nearly as concerned as they should have been given how reckless she had been being. Granted, Carol was always reckless, but Maria had never seen her so consistently get tickets.

   “You’re not going to lose me,” Carol assured her gently, moving closer as she bumped her shoulder softly against Maria’s.

   Maria shook her head, looking at the younger woman as she straightened a little. She felt indescribable love and responsibility toward Carol. She had been looking after her since they were in high school and had adopted her as a sister and as a vital piece of her family, and to see her putting herself in danger like this hurt Maria deeply.

   “I’m a big girl. I’ll be okay,” Carol reassured her, bringing her hand up to touch Maria’s back softly, and Maria swallowed as she regarded her carefully.

   “You’re not invincible, Carol Danvers,” Maria told her solemnly, and Carol grew just a bit more serious as she opened her mouth to speak.

   However, she was swiftly interrupted by small footsteps against the floor as they came running.

   “Auntie Carol!” Monica called, rushing over as she latched onto Carol’s legs. Carol grinned widely, turning in her embrace to face her.

   “Hey, Lieutenant Trouble!” Carol greeted excitedly, bending down as she grabbed Monica and lifted her up to hold her in her arms. Monica wrapped her arms around Carol’s neck, holding onto her, and Carol smiled softly as she looked at her and briefly glanced at Maria.

   “Are you and Mama fighting?” Monica got straight to the point, and Carol blinked, the surprise showing on her face. Maria looked at her baby lovingly, reaching out and wiping some chocolate from her face after what Maria assumed was a snack before dinner.

   “Not at all! What gave you that idea?” Carol asked, trying to sound like she did not know what Monica was talking about. Monica looked at her, worry shining in her gaze.

   “I heard Mama yelling earlier,” Monica acknowledged, and Carol glanced briefly at Maria before continuing.

   “Don’t worry, we weren’t really fighting,” Carol tried to assure her, and Maria nodded along, agreeing with her as she attempted to quell her daughter’s worries.

   “We were just talking,” Maria assured her daughter, reaching out to her as she softly moved a braid back behind her ear.

   “What were you talking about?” Monica questioned curiously, that adorable furrow still in her brow as she kept her eyes on Carol. Carol glanced briefly at Maria before finally speaking, deciding to take a shot at explaining after Maria nodded to her reassuringly.

   “Well… Little Missy,” Carol sighed, moving to sit down at the table. She used her foot to move a chair out at the table. Maria turned where she was standing next to the counter, and she leaned back against it, looking at the two.

   Carol held the girl in her arms, the little one seated on her lap.

   “You don’t know it yet, but when you have a sister or a friend or someone that you care about very much, sometimes you get worried about them. And sometimes that worrying comes out like yelling, but it doesn’t mean anybody’s mad,” Carol explained, and Monica just looked at her carefully, concern in those beautiful brown eyes as she looked at her aunt and her hero.

   “So Mama wasn’t mad?” Monica asked uncertainly, and Carol huffed gently.

   “No,” Carol shook her head, smiling lovingly with half-lidded eyes. Carol paused for a moment, thinking things through before speaking up again.

   “Sometimes Auntie Carol does some really goofy things for some really goofy reasons, and your mama’s just worried about me. It’s what you do with people you love,” Carol expressed, looking over at Maria softly with that adoration that was so purely that of a younger sister that it made Maria’s chest hurt with how it swelled.

   Maria had always wanted a baby sister, and when Carol had come along, she had perfectly fulfilled her need.

   Carol leaned forward and kissed Monica’s head between her eyebrows, smoothing out the furrow there.

   “Now go wash your face. You look like you’ve been sucking chocolate eggs,” Carol told her, and Monica giggled as she leaned in close to Carol.

   “I was eating Reese’s eggs, but don’t tell Mama,” Monica whispered, her voice way too loud to fully accomplish her attempts at secrecy. Maria shook her head, and Carol grinned a little.

   “I won’t. You better get into the bathroom and wash off the evidence,” Carol suggested, whispering at the same volume as Monica had as she remained conspiratorial. Monica nodded as she slid off of Carol’s lap and ran off for the bathroom. Maria watched her go before looking back at Carol.

   “So… Want to share any of those goofy reasons?” Maria asked, and Carol moved her head in a noncommittal gesture.

   “You know I’ve got a need for speed that just won’t quit,” Carol answered, and Maria narrowed her eyes, knowing that Carol was evading at this point.

   “Yeah. And I also know speed kills,” Maria deadpanned and Carol shrugged.

   “Speed doesn’t kill. It’s the sudden stop at the end,” Carol told her playfully, and Maria narrowed her eyes. Carol let out a deep sigh, looking down at her hands, and Maria pulled a chair over to sit next to the woman.

   “What’s really going on?” Maria questioned, and Carol remained quiet, gently scratching her fingernail against an imperfection in the wood of the table. She finally shifted her gaze up to meet Maria’s.

   “You remember when we were laying on your rooftop right after we got accepted into the Air Force and I told you that I wished I could just fly away sometimes?” Carol asked.

   “Yeah?” Maria nodded uncertainly.

   She remembered that day well. It was one of many conversations they had over the years, but that one was one that she remembered particularly well.

   “I don’t know. I’ve always wanted that feeling of freedom, and I guess when I’m just speeding along, the radio blasting, and the windows down… I guess it just kind of feels like I finally found it,” Carol admitted, those warm brown eyes soft as they glowed with some amount of sadness and wistfulness to them.

   Maria instantly felt her heart hurting for the blonde. It always hurt her to hear Carol talk like this and to hear her longing for that sense of freedom. She wanted so badly to give her that feeling, and as much as she knew that Carol did not mean it badly, she still felt the smallest bit of hurt that she and Monica could not grant Carol that feeling.

   Maria thought it over for a long moment, trying to decipher how best to respond. Once she had finally gotten past the lump in her throat enough to speak, she proceeded.

   “I understand you need freedom,” Maria expressed, reaching out as she took Carol’s hands in her own. Carol watched her.

   “But I don’t want you to get yourself killed trying to feel it,” Maria explained, her words slow and calculated as she tried to communicate to Carol her precise feelings without letting emotion overcome her voice.

   “I want you to feel free here with us,” Maria’s voice cracked as she moved one of her hands from Carol’s to make a wide gesture. She then placed her hand back on Carol’s.

   “Free because we’re not him. Free because you have a niece that worships the ground you walk on and a sister that would kill and die for you,” Maria told her, squeezing her hands as she emphasized her words. Carol’s eyes were shining with tears at this point, and honestly, Maria was not doing much better.

   “We love you. You are our family, and I can’t imagine a life without you,” Maria expressed, her vision slightly blurry as she watched her.

   Carol swallowed, squeezing Maria’s hands firmly in her own as she leaned in a little to meet her eyes more closely.

   “You’ll never have to,” Carol promised, her voice soft as she whispered to the older woman.

   Maria let out a deep sigh, leaning forward to close the distance and press her forehead to Carol’s. They both simply remained breathing together for a long moment, their eyes closed as they enjoyed the feeling of togetherness.

   She would do anything in her power to keep Carol safe and in her life. And Carol’s promise, while not guaranteed given the powers that be, was still reassuring.

   She just hoped Carol was right.

i forgot to write notes about these

-okay so i loove the dolls i think they are SO gorgeous but i just do not like most of their outfits. i dont think theyre BAD just not my style so i wanted to restyle the ones i own w hopes of actually making them outfits irl

-originally ws gnna make a different base for each of them but i got lazyy sorry

-i wanted to keep their silhouettes mostly the same. i tried a fur trimmed mini skirt and fur legwarmers as an homage to g1 abbey but she just looked better with flare pants

-anyway. for draculaura i jst used some of the stuff in my closet. most notable the joan jett tripp top and this massive handmade skirt someone donated to goodwill. i thought about having fishnet sleeves that hook over her finger but tbh i dont love the way fishnet sleeves lookmost of the time. i also tried long sleeves but again i jst didnt like it. also i gave her gloves bc they are cute

-my least favorite part of g3s outfit is her shoes i think they are SO ugly weird chunky. maybe if they had an accent color but they literally look like those opaque licensed fruit snacks to me. i jst gave her black mary janes. also i love layered socks so i put white socks over black stockings

-overall i think g3 draculaura is too pink? i wanted to bring back the stark white and blacks from g1 to contrast

-again basically keeping the same silhouette but replacing it all with stuff from my closet

-abbeys one of the designs that grew on me over time but i still do not like the purple/blue/white color palette. i dont think theres enough contrast and i dont like blue unless its oaured with pink or yellow. i much prefer g1 abbeys white/blue/pink palette with purple as an accent

-i knew i wanted pink/blue/white but i so absolutely could not find a way to balance the colors. i tried muted blue jeans but they looked to close to her skin color so i tried pink and ourple but it was too much purple. i tried a light brown fur because i liked how it looked on its own but it was so out of place on her fantastical hair and skin colors

-the vest is this gorgeous gorgeous white faux fur/knit hoodie vest i have that i adore so much. i tried to keep it white for as long as i could but i ended up changing it pink to fit with the rest

-i super half assed her shoes but theyre supposed to be snow boots

That’s absolutely how Guy found out Honey was a shifter: Quinn had pinned Guy to an alley wall, fangs scraping against his neck until this large ass wolf tackled him.

Honey is pretty much the exact same size as Asher when shifted, their fur is a mix of dark brown and light blonde LIKE ITS SO PRETTY FOR NO REASON. Their eyes are a pale yellow- LIKE HONEY

They work at the same office as Aaron and Ollie, Honey wears tight white or black button downs and loose dress pants to work and it is HOT. Like they work around all these unempowered humans, a mf shifter just loving being around these idiots. Aaron and Honey are the same fucking person everyone shut up.

Honey is super reserved even towards Guy because they’re afraid of getting too close to someone, especially considering their attachment to Quinn.

If Quinn ever hurt Guy Honey would break up with him. Honey is absolutely the type to disconnect from someone entirely to protect them.

Honey and Darlin used to go to TONS of concerts together with Gabe, specifically hard rock- Gabe’s favorite. Darlin and Honey in a mosh pit….

Honey and Christian HATE each other they absolutely do NOT get along.

-Honey and Darlin had a fight after both getting attacked by Quinn and Darlin threatened to use Guy as bait and Honey almost killed them- like I’m fr David and Ash had to break them apart.

-Honey was having an AWFUL day when they met Guy- like in their oddly fancy dress clothes at a pizza place when Guy was manning the front counter. He was super flustered looking at them when they put in their order (ordered for their branch).

…..He put his number on the pizza box…. Honey was checking if their order was right while sitting in the car and noticed.

Marie taught Honey healing magic after a fight with Darlin.

Honey still hasn’t reached out to the pack even after meeting Guy and getting in a comfortable position in their relationship, but Marie texts them to check in every now and then. Pack mama misses them fr

Honey wears a letterman all the time and collects patches that include: Shaw Security, a lil pizza patch on the arm, tiny wolves scattered throughout the jacket, their favorite bands and TV shows.

Honey LOVES reading, Guy will lie down on their lap while they read, or at least lean on their shoulder and try not to act like he isn’t bored out of his mind.

Guy hates silence so much, he always needs to fill the noise- it kind of comforts Honey sometimes though- they need to know that he’s there and alright.

Honey gets frequent nightmares from encounters with Quinn and has never told Guy- or at least he hasn’t noticed yet.

Honey misses Guy SO MUCH every time he’s at work, especially when he does frequent overtime. They act like they were doing something else- which they were/ but it was mainly to distract themselves from missing Guy. When he’s home and gets on the couch next to them, they’re all over him.

UGHHHH THEY JUST CLING TO HIM AND ACT LIKE JT WAS JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE TIRED OR IT LOOKED LIKE HE NEEDED A HUG.

and i would mostly agree. when mary vogt talked (briefly) about the men's wardrobes in an interview, she said

As for men, we tried to integrate a little bit of their past, but it also had to be simple and it had to look realistic. We did it based it on the comic, but the characters also had to look real, so we used simple colors like black, white and blue.

so it doesnt seem like there was that much of a distinction between the men's styles, and the principle was grounded by looking 'simple' and 'realistic', BUT she also mentions integrating the past, and joe used to be rich and nicky used to be a priest.

and like. imo you can see that a little bit. they wear almost the same exact outfits but there are these little dissimilarities almost every time

1. your resident gay uncles: regular button ups + trousers

2. tshirt and jeans

(tho note that joe's got those funny zipper details on his thighs while nicky's wearing regular jeans. plus nicky's shirt is loose while joe's is tight. and joe has those weird inside-out looking seams on his shirt)

3. The Jacket Look (neither of which we actually see in the movie)

(note that joe is wearing a nice leather jacket and nicky is wearing a coat thats remarkably similar to the one my 60 y/o mother wears)

Ok so I haven't actually watched miraculous in a while mainly because I dislike the show so I did the only reasonable thing and made a better version of it in my head!

Idk how many people ship tikki/plagg and idc. I always imagined kwamis being able to shapeshift into other forms as well such as: human form and animal.

1. E.G tikki as a human would be red-headed w freckles and black eyes and as an animal (in this case insect) it would be a ladybug. Same for plagg, he would have black hair and bright green cat eyes.

2. I imagine them as to having lives before the miracle box. Where kwamis would fight in wars and rule civilizations. Where plagg and tikki weren't the first kwamis of creation and destruction but rather they had predecessors who created them.

3. Become I am a weak and simple woman they obviously need to have an enemies to lovers story where - here two scenarios play out - scenario one: tikki is a spy for her kingdom and makes plagg (commander and king of the opposing kingdom's armies) trust her. Scenario two: Tikki is a commander and queen of kingdom A's armies and Plagg is commander and king of kingdom B's armies. And both kingdoms are at war with each other. Hope that made sense?

4. They get married obviously after lots of intense making out and knives to throats they become everyone's power couple.

5. And respective to the fact that they are the two most powerful miraculous they bring together the two kingdoms of kwamis and humans and everything goes great.

6. Except because there are humans involved everything goes sideways. Why? You may ask. Because it's humanity, everything goes sideways with humanity. So as a final resort Tikki creates the miracle box where she has a place for all the kwamis we see in the show I.E. her court/closest allies/bff's etc.

7. In this version, all miraculous jewellery present themselves as rings (shaped like chat noir's ring) or golden bracelets. Something inconspicuous and not noticeable.

8. Tikki and Plagg can only see each other in the miracle box because their miraculouses were never used at the same time that often until Marinette and Adrien so once every week they sneak out in their human forms ( they can fly obv I'm not a savage) to go see each other.

9. The reason they aren't in their human forms that much is because they can be seen on camera when they're in them and adults shadowing high school teens tends to get a LITLLE suspicious.

10. Marinette and Adrien are aware that they're kwamis are married and in love, unfortunately this only contributes to Adrien's obsessive need to get ladybug to love him because "tHeyRe SoULmaTes".

11. When the other guardian (Grandmaster Shu-Han? Please correct me if I said his name wrong) comes in. After the whole drama of him trying to take the miracle box he decides to be a better mentor than Fu and teaches the kids how to fight, adapt, deal with the trauma of seeing mass destruction every other day, and shield themselves against akumas. He even lets Marinette keep the miracle box as long as she's responsible with it. But when Mari realizes she can remotely summon the miraculous she gives it to him for safekeeping. (Obviously not like how Fu did bc she needs her memories, sorta like he's borrowing it for a while. Also Shu-Han totally has a soft spot for the kwamis).

12. At one point Shu-Han initiates a swapping of miraculous for one month. So Plagg stays with Marinette while Tikki stays with Adrien. For obvious reasons neither kwami can talk about their actual holders.

13. Also did I mention all their outfits are more or less the same? Everything black. Black pants, shirt, vests, coats/jackets, hoods, masks (two types of masks: domino ones around their eyes or if they want ones that cover their mouth but leave their eyes open). The main inspiration for this was Inej Ghafa from the Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo and the Shadow and Bone show on Netflix.

14. After excessive training with Grandmaster Shu-Han marinette's weapons change to match her combat prowess. Her main weapons are knives and bow/arrows whereas Chat still uses his staff but it can also turn into a spear.

15. Lukanette or Marigami is cannon. Why? Because I said so.

So this was just a tiny snapshot of what mlb fanfiction would look like if I had the talent, energy and skill to write it. Your thoughts are always welcome! :)
