it is both so genuinely fascinating and deeply funny to me how the roleplay blogs are interacting with / portraying the sovereigns.

no judgment, but like, from the exceedingly small amount we know about them in the actual canon - they are these… terrible, tyrannical eldritch beings that: twisted humanity until they became empowered folk, created vampires, and seers, and shifters, and then when the people dared to have free will and start to question them, they responded with an all-out war.

one of the only characters who was there for - and still remembers - those events (yes I’m talking about Vega) speaks with absolute horror and fear in his voice when ‘Warden’ reveals (re-reveals?) to him that Closeknit are attempting to contact them and possibly bring them back. he agrees immediately that the risk of dying is worth it to prevent them from ever returning-

and then, there’s just these incredibly wholesome and lovingly parental moments in the rps? from the sovereigns?? are we talking about the same characters here, like ‘nono guys you don’t get it, some of them are actually really nice if you just get to know them-’
