my family cottage has always had groundhogs aplenty. in late summer, if you are still and quiet while you sit under the old apple tree, they will pay you no mind and trundle over to gorge themselves on fallen fruit.

Additional notes:

1 is mousetrap

2 is lightning bolt, and i couldnt figure out how to draw a cat skeleton, so itsmyfault the joke doesnt land

3 is refernce to the short film The Trident, which is the backstory to how Puss shot himself out of a cannon

4 is refence to a deleted scene from the first trailer! Im gonna delete it as well an have a piano drop on kitty bc thats funnier

5, 6 and 7 where just my way of doing something even dumber than Puss

Habe jetzt den DreiTag zum ersten Mal komplett gelesen und so witzig es ist, ich finde Fremder Freund immer noch den schwächsten Teil und bin ein bisschen traurig drüber. Hauptsächlich, weil der Band eben nicht auf Peters Stärken zugeschnitten ist, so wie die anderen zwei für Justus und Bob, sondern ihn regelmäßig als leichtgläubigen Idioten dastehen lässt. Hätte mir eher einen (und ich kann nicht glauben, dass ich das sage) Sport- oder Auto-Fall gewünscht, wo Peter sich vielleicht unter eine Gruppe Verdächtiger mischen muss und durch sein Wesen und sein umfangreiches praktisches Wissen auf eine Weise brilliert, die Justus und Bob nicht nachahmen könnten.

so um. i seem to be on a little roll this week with just drawing all my favourite flatlanders who belong to others. this time it’s one of my absolute favourites in design, Hauntlight by @rjalker
