🧜🏾‍♀️ SIRENE (1009): Top 3 Sex Symbols! 💋
Tumblr media
SIREN: A seductively beautiful or charming woman, especially one who beguiles men; A woman who is a very attractive but dangerous temptress. 🔥🔥
The Sirene (1009) asteroid is one of my absolute favorites to explore. 🧜🏾‍♀️ And I have many! Its placement in a woman's chart tells us about her brand of Dark Femininity. How she seduces and influences. How she harnesses her power and the TYPES of men who are helplessly drawn to her. 💋 Every Sign has incredible qualities! I'm simply sharing my Top 3 Sirens based on the research I've done. So enjoy and share your Siren below!
**FYI - Men with these placements are also very sexy and captivating in their own way. 💯 So I will include some famous examples for them as well.
~♡~♡~♡~♡~
Siren in Scorpio 🔥

Siren in Scorpio MEN:
The Rock
Brad Pitt
Paul Newman

JFK
SCORPIO SIRENS lure you in with their hypnotic eyes that are as deep as the Blue Sea. 🧜🏾‍♀️ Their powerful aura will quickly swallow you whole and you will enjoy every moment of it. 💋 They effortlessly captivate and are explosive Lovers! They love to keep you guessing. As they know, you'll be addicted to the mystery of it all and keep coming back for more. And they're right! Just like Monica Bellucci and Lana Del Rey - these women can casually sit somewhere, smoking a cigarette, and *everyone* around them is watching in total ENVY of that damn cigarette. 🔥 Others like Lisa Bonet and Sade are gentle and ethereal but they will *still* snatch your SOUL. The Male Sirens are charismatic heartthrobs who make panties drop everywhere they roam. Women submit to them with glee. They want their 'Notebook' moment with Ryan Gosling, okay! And for The Rock to lay the smackdown (and pipe) on their kitty. 😺 And nothing less.

CAPRICORN SIRENS lure you in with their deeply earthy, erotic energy. They are smoldering volcanoes underneath their cool IDGAF exterior and this enticing contrast drives people wild! 🔥 They have monstrous sex drives yet are very grounded in their personal power and selective about who they entertain, so others seek their approval. The Female Sirens often attract highly influential and/or dominant men who crave her submission and loyalty. Their desire to control her can truly consume them! 💯 They see her as the Ultimate Challenge and want her AT ALL COSTS. Their results vary depending upon what *she* actually wants. For instance, Amal Clooney. She was able to capture the heart of life-long bachelor George Clooney with impeccable ease. 🩷 He looks at her with stars in his eyes! They have the ideal marriage. Mariah Carey ultimately made Tommy Matola (the Record Executive who signed her to his label) wait until they were married before being intimate with him. She had such an effect on her ex-husband after **opening her luscious Pearly Gates** 🙌 that he put cameras up around the house to watch her every move. He was utterly obsessed with her! Amber Heard is an example of Capricorn Siren in full Destruction Mode. And Karrine "Superhead" Steffans in literal Maneater Mode slurping her way to THE TOP. The Male Sirens simply have Big Dick Energy - period. They are Doms, Bosses and Kings. 👑 Women yearn for them to (symbolically) suck their blood and their p***y like Robert Pattinson in 'Twilight' with carnivorous passion. 🔥 They want to surrender doggystyle to a man like Gerard Butler in the '300' movie. And even when they are stone cold killers like Suge Knight or manipulative pimps like Andrew Tate... they still command respect! They possess massive amounts of Masculine charm.
Tumblr media
Siren in Sagitarius 👠
Tumblr media
Famous Women:
Marilyn Monroe (pictured above)
Dorothy Dandridge (pictured above)
Rita Hayworth (pictured above)
Shakira (pictured above)
Indira Varma (pictured above)
Kim Cattrall
Margot Robbie
Robin Givens
Tina Turner
Dana Delaney
Emilia Clarke
Gwen Stefani
Aishwarya Rai
Rose McGowan
Tumblr media
Sagittarius Siren MEN:
Paul Walker
Patrick Swayze
Elvis Presley
Clark Gable
Mario Lopez
Marilyn Manson
Shia LaBeouf
Michele Marrone
Marvin Gaye
Tumblr media
SAGITTARIUS SIRENS lure you in like smoke rising from a bonfire in an enchanted forest during a Drum Circle. They illuminate dangerous levels of heat. ☀️ That will melt you like hot lava with their dynamic sex appeal. Baddies to the bone! Their esthetic widely appeals to the masses and individuals from *all* walks of life. People from *all* ethnic backgrounds admire and lust after them. 💋 They are exciting and make people feel ALIVE. And they're often the epitome of someone's Dream Girl or Guy. Marilyn Monroe is a FOREVER Icon who lives on generation after generation. 🌟 And her Feminine prowess remains unmatched no matter how much time goes by. Rita Hayworth is another immortal Sex Symbol and proud Latina. As is Dorothy Dandridge - who broke many barriers for Black Women in film and greatly appealed to a variety of powerful men such as Marlon Brando and Otto Priminger. Margot Robbie in the 'Wolf of Wallstreet' and 'Barbie' movies? 🩷 Nuff said! The Male Sirens are usually a strong yet suave bunch - like Clark Gable and Patrick Swayze. And that's a killer combination, my friends! They are often Rebels. 💪 Whether clean-cut ones like Paul Walker, goth ones like Marilyn Manson or rebels GONE WRONG like Shia LaBeouf. Either way, they are magnetic.
~♡~♡~♡~♡~
And that's a wrap for now! 💛 I'll be back soon with more on SIREN and other awesome asteroids. Thanks for reading.

Lesbians in Space Masterpost:
Happy Valentines! My favourite genre by far is one I like to call Lesbians In Space. This is the pinnacle of all human creation in my opinion. The only rules of Lesbians in Space is that there MUST be actual, real sapphics (at least one), and that space has to be somewhat incorporated. That's it. If you have more examples of this PLEASE tell me.
*there's also a list of honorable mentions for things that fit the vibe in my opinion but aren't as explicitly Lesbians In Space.
Books/Novellas
The Locked Tomb series (arguably THE lesbians in space series) by Tamsyn Muir. If you're on Tumblr you've probably heard of these but the first book is a murder mystery in a creepy space mansion.
The Teixcalaan series (A Memory Called Empire and A Desolation Called Peace) by Arkady Martine. A poetry-obsessed ambassador from a space station subject to the whims of the Teixcalaan empire needs to unravel a plot and figure out wtf her predecessor was up to, while being assisted by a government agent.
The Serpent Gates Duology (The Unspoken Name and The Thousand Eyes) by AK Larkwood. Csorwe, an orc who was raised as a sacrifice to a god, is rescued by a shady sorcerer and pulled into his plot regarding world dominantion, abd then falls hard for a math nerd.
An Unkindness of Ghosts by Rivers Solomon (with a non-binary/trans/gnc and sapphic mc). This book is a lot heavier in terms of trauma than the other things on this list, esp regarding slavery+neurodiversity+transphobia so yeah maybe check a list of CW but it's good!
The Necessity of Stars by E. Catherine Tobler (novella). Former UN diplomat deals with memory loss and aliens. Technically not as space-y as the rest of this list.
This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone (novella). Two spies on two sides of a time-and-space war test each other's wits.
Light From Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki (trans girl MC, side characters that are lesbians, technically it's not ALL in space but it's pretty dang space-y.) Evil lady teaches a young violinist in order to collect her soul, hijinks ensue.
Podcasts:
The Strange Case of Starship Iris. A doctor accidentally joins a group of space smugglers while uncovering a government conspiracy. Also has a trans guy and two nb characters.
The Pasithea Powder. After a war between two planets, two old friends, one an honoured war hero and the other a disgraced scientist, are pulled back together due to a government plot.
TV shows:
She-Ra (for kids). You know what this show is about. Cadet of the evil forces who's good at everything turns out to be the chosen one that fights for good against her former bestie.
Doctor Who s10- the Doctor's companion falls in love with a puddle that's a girl.
Honorary mentions:
Winter's Orbit- romance sci-fi, gay arranged marriage in space.
The Murderbot Diaries - series of novellas. queer side characters aside, Murderbot isn't human but definitely has an interesting concept of romance and gender that I find pretty dang queer.
The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula Le Guin. The blueprint!!!! Local male ambassador (deragatory) goes to covertly visit a very cold planet where people are sex-less most of the time (and very interesting genders). The discussion of gender is fascinating in my opinion.
Wolf 359 (podcast). Pissed off crew of a wreck of a ship do their best to survive space and each other. (there's a canonical gay character but also Isabel Lovelace is a lesbian in my heart)
Among the Stars and Bones (podcast) a group of xenopaleantologists go dig up an ancient alien site. there's an important nonbinary main character.

Book Blurb:
The River Has Roots is the hugely anticipated solo debut of the New York Times bestselling and Hugo Award winning author Amal El-Mohtar. Follow the river Liss to the small town of Thistleford, on the edge of Faerie, and meet two sisters who cannot be separated, even in death.
The hardcover edition features beautiful interior illustrations.
"Half delicious murder ballad, half beguiling love story." —Holly Black • "An absolute must-read." —T. Kingfisher • "Every sentence sings!" —Sarah Beth Durst • "Utterly enchanting." —Fonda Lee • "A story that outlasts itself." —Alix E. Harrow • "Truly exquisite." —Zoraida Córdova "A beautiful, musical, and loving story." —Emma Törzs
“Oh what is stronger than a death? Two sisters singing with one breath.”
In the small town of Thistleford, on the edge of Faerie, dwells the mysterious Hawthorn family.
There, they tend and harvest the enchanted willows and honour an ancient compact to sing to them in thanks for their magic. None more devotedly than the family’s latest daughters, Esther and Ysabel, who cherish each other as much as they cherish the ancient trees.
But when Esther rejects a forceful suitor in favor of a lover from the land of Faerie, not only the sisters’ bond but also their lives will be at risk…
Review:
Two sisters, a small town on the edge of Fae land... marriage, betrayal, and murder.... and the enduring love between sisters. In the small town of Thistleford, located at the edge of Faerie, lives the Hawthorn family. This family tends and harvests enchanted trees and the latest heirs, Esther and Ysabel, sisters with a loving relationship find that all threatened when a nefarious suitor appears and a mysterious new love interests from Fairie comes too. The sisters find themselves and their relationship put to the test... but can their bond last? This was an enchanting and beautiful read, I found myself absolutely captivated. It's romantic, it's sweet, and it shows the sweet and tender love between sisters. It's a great read and one I'd absolutely recommend!

hellooo top ten reads of 2022 in no particular order (+ not including rereads of old favourites):
Our Wives Under The Sea, Julia Armfield
Luckenbooth, Jenni Fagan
Cantoras, Carolina De Robertis
A Tiny Upward Shove, Melissa Chadburn
Sea of Tranquility, Emily St. John Mandel
Time Is A Mother, Ocean Vuong
Light from Uncommon Stars, Ryka Aoki
Marriage of a Thousand Lies, Sj Sindu

special mentions:
Young Mungo, Douglas Stuart

A Certain Hunger, Chelsea G. Summers
Briefly, A Delicious Life, Nell Stevens
The Mercies, Kiran Millwood Hargrave
and some quotes from my top ten under the cut if you are looking for a little flavour. what did you guys read this year i am always looking for recommendations :~)
It’s not grief, [...] it’s more like a haunting. Our Wives Under The Sea
“Is it crazy to love someone you’ve only spent seven days with in person?” / “No, it’s crazy to love someone when you’ve known them for years.” Luckenbooth
It seemed, at times, that this was the only way the world would be remade as the heroes had dreamed: one woman holds another woman, and she in turn lifts the world. Cantoras
By then, Lola concluded that love was mostly wanting something you supposedly already had. A Tiny Upward Shove
She never dwelt on my lapses, and I couldn’t entirely parse why this made me feel so awful. There’s a low-level, specific pain in having to accept that putting up with you requires a certain generosity of spirit in your loved ones. Sea of Tranquility
Then it came to me, my life. I remembered my life / the way an ax handle, mid-swing, remembers the tree. / & I was free. Time Is A Mother
“That’s--” / “A violin from China,” she said without looking up. “Yes, I know.” / “No, I mean, it’s all in pieces.” / “Yes. So are we all.” Light from Uncommon Stars
There’s always a way out. You could be a ghost. I could be an empty chair. Marriage of a Thousand Lies
Everything would turn out fine. Or else--hell--it would burn. I only wanted my body to bloom and bleed and be loved. I was raw with want, but in part it was a simple want, one made for easy satisfaction, quick drama, deep life: I wanted to go places and do things with Sils. So what if the house burned down. Who Will Run the Frog Hospital?
“Thomas, why are you wearing a sweater when it’s so warm out?” / Thomas shrugs slightly and says, “As my grandma Cookie says, we’re all having different experiences.” Less Is Lost
also my bottom five if you care these are bad do not reccommend lol (not including dnfs):
Mexican Gothic, Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Under the Whispering Door, TJ Klune
The Midnight Library, Matt Haig
This Is How You Lose the Time War, Max Gladstone & Amal El-Mohtar
A Room Called Earth, Madeleine Ryan

Pay Me To Go Away: BRF allegedly threatened persistently with divorce settlements up to $100 million by u/leafygreens
Pay Me To Go Away: BRF allegedly threatened persistently with divorce settlements up to $100 million With the recent talk of Todger divorce again, I wanted to re-visit some older stories in which the RF appears to have been threatened for years with up to a $100 million divorce settlement.Families don't pay divorce settlements, only the spouse and their income is taken into account. Why would the RF pay That One a settlement, unless it's under duress?May 19, 2018 - An article published the day of the Todger wedding was already discussing the "what-ifs" in a Todger divorce and how much money That One would get from the BRF. The article discussed royal prenups:that "all of the couple’s wealth gets divvied up, not just what each spouse brought into a marriage". This certainly sounds threatening.that Diana received a $23 million settlement from Charles, alluding to That One being worth much more with inflation. It seems strange divorce was discussed the day of the wedding unless it is the idea That One had all along.January 28, 2019, the palace is allegedly already in "crisis talks" over the marriage with a $37 million settlement discussed. We now know the RF and staff were abused in the lead-up to the marriage: Charlotte's dress fitting, "We both know I'll be your boss soon," employees "slumped over their desks", etc.March 3, 2019, shortly after the obscene New York "baby" shower, threats appear of a $25 million settlement to pay off That One with New York property. That One allegedly:was using the guise of a baby shower to "scout apartments on the Upper East Side." She "fell instantly in love with" a $25.4 million apartment.can't afford it but would no doubt "get a huge payout given she’s the mother of [This One]'s child.""as a royal divorcee, the commercial opportunities... would make her millions and millions." [This old chestnut again.]conceived a scheme to have Amal or Serena buy the apartment and keep it for when That One can "buy them out" [LOL]may use Amal as her divorce lawyer [LOL]February 14, 2020, a blind after Megxit states that stories about their brand valuation amount is really That One's "buyout number," a.k.a. the amount it will take her to "go away" and be less of a p.i.t.a. News (unarchived) stories in January were predicting Brand Todger "could get up to $100 million" to $1 billion. The RF didn't bite, so the Todgers trashed the family in the media.January 16, 2023, King Charles reportedly "could" pay That One a generous settlement to get rid of her and "save his son" (too late for that, IMO.) This time we are up to $50 million. The settlement will also include child support for the invisikids.July 3, 2023, the $80 million figure was allegedly part of the pre-nup to take care of any alleged children. This One was allegedly pre-contracted for full custody, yet That One was pre-contracted to "receive $80 million for their support" that she will "fight" for. Why That One would receive $80 million to support children who are in This One's full custody is illogical. It is interesting now that we know the bullying the RF was put under, it seems the bullying was a means to get them to pay her off to go away. They didn't fall for it or any of her other schemes. This results in Montecito-sourced harassment about reconciliation, olive branches and sweet nods that makes the one-sided bullying seem like a 50/50 spat. Now This One is cut off from his family and there is no way That One will get $23 or $100 million from the RF. That One can make her threats for an imaginary settlement as the RF continues to gray rock. post link: https://ift.tt/v4JD8GH author: leafygreens submitted: August 27, 2024 at 05:00PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit disclaimer: all views + opinions expressed by the author of this post, as well as any comments and reblogs, are solely the author's own; they do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrator of this Tumblr blog. Favorite books I read in 2023
The Ones I Loved
Summer Sons by Lee Mandelo - (genre: horror) idk what to tell you about this book, but you should read it. It's about ghosts and grief and Nashville and relearning how to be alive. The romance in it is gay and slowburn. If you love the All For the Game series, this book is for you.
The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri - (genre: fantasy) One of the cleverest fantasies about empire and rebellion I've read in a long time. The female characters are fantastic and complicated, and it's so fun to be inside their heads. The gay romance at the heart of this book is tender and fucked up in all the best ways. Highly, highly recommend.
The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen by K.J. Charles - (genre: regency romance) Lovers to enemies to allies to lovers! A poor lawyer inherits an Earldom and discovers that the leader of the local smugglers is someone he is intimately familiar with. Very sweet and well written gay regency romance.
A Nobleman's Guide to Seducing a Scoundrel by K.J. Charles - (genre: regency romance) A grumpy, embattled new Earl with a heart of gold meets a lonely, competent smuggler-turned-secretary with a ulterior motives. I can't overstate how much I loved this book, the characters and their relationship, the way they make each other's lives better and fuller, the way they come to make each other better people gah it's so good ;-; make sure to read the first book in this series first, even though it focuses on other characters
This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar - (genre scifi/fantasy) I went into this book knowing nothing about it besides the meme, and I highly recommend that approach. It is gay, the writing is very lyrical and flower, and you will need to let go of the typical scifi genre expectation that the world in which the story takes place will be explained to you.
The Ones I Enjoyed a lot
The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher - (genre: horror) relatable 30-something divorcee and 50-something gay barista find a passageway to another world. The world they find...is bad.
The Black Death: New Lessons from Recent Research by Dorsey Armstrong - (genre: nonfiction) summary of the latest research on the plague! V interesting and well explained. Originally a video but the audiobook is available on Hoopla.
Life in a Medieval Village by Francis Gies and Joseph Gies - (genre: nonfiction) great little deep dive into the daily life of Medieval peasants from how the legal system worked to marriage customs.
Ancillary Justice by Anne Leckie - (genre: scifi) the main character is the AI consciousness of a ship trapped in one of her ancillary bodies and her sidekick is one of her former lieutenants who was accidentally frozen for 1000 years and is having a very hard time about it.
Sorcery & Cecelia by Patricia C. Wrede & Caroline Stevermer - (genre: regency era fantasy romance) this was a re-read from my childhood and it held up!
The Wordhord: Daily Life in Old English by Hana Videen - (genre: nonfiction) did you know that "lady" evolved from the old english word for "loaf maker" and "lord" evolved from "loaf guardian"?
Role Model by Rachel Reid - (genre: romance) gay hockey romance between a hockey player and his new team's social media manager. Pretty standard romance novel but fun!
Silver in the Wood by Emily Tesh - (genre: fantasy) the green man of the forest is minding his own business when a young man shows up on his doorstep. english mythology vibes, also gay.
Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid - (genre: romance) gay hockey players, enemies to lovers/fuck buddies to lovers romance. if this was originally geno/sid rpf i would not be surprised.

omg that failed successfully kidnapping of myrah fic would be so funny to read 😭 myrahs failure of being a good captive vs aemond being a manic psycho husband would be great omg PLS if u have time write it!! if not just a crumb ,, mayhaps a speck
I imagine this taking place around Baelor’s second maybe third name day. A hunt happens sort of similar to ep 3 of hotd. There are couple of ways I imagine her being taken but this is one. This is little sections: How she gets taken, Aemond’s response, her annoying the shit out of them/them being incompetent lmao
Eyes Peeled
In way, this could techincally be Myrah’s fault.
Amal tells the story to this day. Myrah was ‘a runner’. As a young girl, if she saw something she liked or was bored of her situation, she simply left. It scared her parents to no end, but it was something they were sure she would grow out of the older she got.
The more aware of her surroundings… well the more she should’ve became more aware of them.
Otto advised them not to do the hunt. Claiming it would be a bad time to not only be out in the woods, but also showing the wealth of House Targaryen in the process. But Jeyne Arryn, despite making her support of Rhaenyra’s claim clear at the Great Council, was to attend. A show of support for another child of the Vale of Arryn being born.
Aemond had scoffed at the letter. Muttering something about Baelor being used for politicking.
Myrah was just surprised by the seemingly warm welcome knowing how the last two marriages that connected House Targaryen and Vale went. And with the fanfaire that came with being a Targaryen, it was important to her that pieces of how she grew up was also instilled in their children.
They will be of the mountains and lakes as much as they will be hot blooded, dragon riders.
She had felt sick all morning. It was only compounded by how claustrophobic she felt. Despite the sprawling tented area where they set up, the amount of people around made Myrah unusually antsy. Like she wanted to bolt at the drop of a hat.
Baelor squirmed in her arms, grabbing her cheeks between his little hands. Big eyes staring at her in amusement. Myrah can’t believe she gave birth to something so perfect.
….Then he proceeds to try and grab sapphire hairnet intertwined with her coils.
“Alright, let not do that to mama,” she whispers before putting on a shocked face. “Why don’t we go pull your father’s hair. Yes, let’s do that.”
Aemond was over by Otto and a few other members of Aegon’s council. With Baelor on her hip, Myrah puts a gently brushes against Aemond. Relief flooding his face at the thought of being excused from what she assumes was a boring conversation.
“Your son needs something to play with,” she hands Baelor over with a smile. His tiny hands instantly going to play with the ends of Aemond’s hair.
“I think his cousin has their toys.”
Myrah used the free hands as excuse to leave the tent. “I think there is wine outside.”
She will take in the sights since it is clear Aemond has no interest in it. Staying in the tent content to be around others he knows.
The spectacle that follows the family is something she must get used to.
It did not take long for Myrah to find what she was looking for. A spread of food and wine near the woodsy area where the hunt will take place. People watching was an activity she always loved. With new fresh air, she was able to breath and take in the array of people in the distance.
Before she can put the goblet to her lips, a voice startles her.
She notices flaming red hair and a beard to match before she even hears his voice.
“Quite the showing,” his voice is gruff.
She just nods, that same weird feeling she had all day seeping in. It is not she can explain but before her feet can carry away away to safety, everything goes black
Tumblr media
It takes little time before Baelor begins to fuss again. The whining turns into whimpering which turns into full blown crying. A cry for his mother, Aemond is sure. Baelor always became restless if his mother is not in eyesight.
Aemond understood on two different levels. Alicent often regales stories of how connected the two them were when he was a boy.
He too becomes fussy when Myrah is not around.
“She has two big babies to look after,” Aegon muttered one day.
So, when Myrah does not come back from getting the wine she wants. Aemond’s face begins to match his son’s. Distress written all over it.
He sends one of the guards in the tent out to find her. But the gaurd come back a bit pale, and instead of going to Aemond, he beelines to Otto. His grandsire’s back stiffens a bit before going over to Aegon, who sat in a festive, elevated throne. Cup in hand, and crown cocked to the side. The jovialness wiped from his face and replaced with confusion when his hand begins to whisper in his ear.
By this time, Baelor’s face is hot as he buried it in father’s neck. Aegon walks over fake smile on his face.
“Why don’t you give him to one of the nurses,” Aegon suggestion lowly.
Aemond only holds Baelor tighter. “Why? What’s going on?”
Aegon cringes, before motioning towards the guards behind Aemond to leave the tent. “Umm well,” he twists his rings on his fingers nervously before whispering. “I just think he should not be in your arms when I tell you this.”
“Aegon, what the fuck is going on?”
Aegon swallows. “Myrah has seem to be… misplaced.”
Misplaced. As if his dear wife is a hairbrush or a sock.
He gently sets Baelor on the ground. Blinking because he must have misheard that. “What?”
“I’m sure she’s just… around the woods. We will find her,” Aegon reassures. But Aemond feels the blood rushing from his head to his feet. The nurse Aegon called comes over to get Baelor from holding his dad’s legs.
“I - I need Vhagar,” he stutters out.
“No, I don’t think we need to disturb her, do we?”
Aegon knows how this will go. Aemond gets worked up, and Vhagar will follow suit. And before they all know it the forest around them will surely be burned to the ground. Gods forbid, any other place. A hand comes to Aegon’s throat. Criston, who was right behind Aegon, hands itch to grab his sword.
Aegon waves him off when Aemond’s squeezes a bit. They’ve always been ones to take their aggression out on each other; brotherly love and all of that.
“My wife is missing, and you’re tell me no?”
Well, when he puts it like that, and air stops flowing to his brain, who is Aegon to refuse.

The sack is pulled from Myrah’s head, and her eyes squint as they readjust to the setting sun’s light.
She doesn’t recognize her surroundings, she barely did at the hunt inself. All she sees in the cave she in and body of water in front of her. She tries to move but realizes her wrist and ankles are bound.
“You were supposed try and grab the Queen Mother you imbecile. Or the Hand.”
She cranes her neck to see two figures standing by the trees. Myrah had not noticed how cartoonishly tall the red head was till he was being berated by a tiny blonde man.
“What value is she?”
Well then.
So, Myrah wasn’t the queen at one point, and she doesn’t advise the king. She’s still married to a prince and gave birth to another one. That counts for something. She would make an excellent captive.
“And gods forbid that psycho husband of hers comes looking.”
“Hey!”
As soon as she says it, she cringes. Both men snap their heads towards her. They both come over to leer over her.
“Shut it girl.”
“Make me,” she shoots back. Aemond would tell her not to push her luck. That being belligerent will not help.
“Gag her, Percy,” the short blonde looks up at his accomplice. The redhead pats his breeches, then gives a sheepish look.
“I don’t have it on me.”
Leave to Myrah to be taken by the dumbest men in the Seven Kingdoms.
“Look, if you guys let me go now, I’ll make sure nothing happens to you,” she nods. “No harm will be done to you, if no harm is done to me.”
The blonde lets out a squeak of a laugh. “You don’t make the rules here.”
Myrah shrugs. “Fine then, I will just wait for my psycho husband to come on dragon-back while you two figure out what the plan is.”
Percy and the other one share a concerned look.
“Galahad, do you think he will actually come with a dragon,” Percy, despite his height, seems to cower at the thought. Both of them eye Myrah to see if she’s bluffing.
“We have his wife, you fool,” Percy hisses. “What do you think?”
Percy storms off, hands on his hips, looking out at the lake to think.
“You shouldn’t let him speak to you like that,” Myrah fakes concern. Percy mouth down turns in a frown. “I imagine he won’t be too happy if things go side ways. And you will be to blame.” He gives Myrah a sad look before scurrying away to speak with the clear brains of the operation. Though considering the empty, open area they are at, that is not saying much in Myrah’s head.
Aemond is not crazy, never that. But one thing Myrah knows is that Aemond is diligent, almost paranoid, in the way he handles his family. With her, Baelor, his sibling, or mother.
He will be no different now.

What is your favourite trope? What was the worst book you have ever read?
Also the last one that was about giving 3 book recs :3
character that believes they deserve nothing and are utter scum of the earth being cared for and loved against their will until their tired eyes and hands finally turn towards hope and reach for it. i have written this into various works of mine so many times you have no idea
tempted to say Twilight and i don't think that My Immortal counts but uhhhhhhhh. there was this one really flimsy paperback book my parents bought me when i was like 12 called "so you're gonna be a teenager" and it was christian and detailed some things that teenagers should expect and get used to it and my queer ass, who already firmly believed in the progressive way of things at that point, flipped through it and saw that it talked about abstinence and made a bunch of points about no sex before marriage and then at one point it talked about having sex and clarified, in brackets, (with someone of the opposite gender of course) and at that i saw red and physically ripped the book in half with my bare hands. that was the only book i've ever destroyed and i do not regret it. twilight comes second
my book recs:
All the Light we Cannot See by Anthony Doerr- a masterclass in plot and 10 years of research in the writing, it's historical fiction following the paths of a young blind French girl and a young German boy who end up on opposite sides of the war but they somehow meet four years later and teach each other kindness
This Is How you Lose the Time War by Max Gladstone and Amal El-Mohtar (i think i spelled that right orz)- time travelling enemy to lovers lesbians. as Bigolas Dickolas on twitter dot com said, don't research it don't look it up online just get it and read it all in one go. it's only 200 pages and it is fucking worth it.
this is a series not a single book but The Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson is a kid-aimed fantasy series that comprises of four books and an extra story compilation. don't let the kid-friendly bit fool ya- this is an incredibly well written series with some easy to understand, fun, but still well thought out worldbuilding and some themes near the end of the series that permanently rewired my brain when i finished it for the first time. also, all of the books mentioned have some fantastic illustrations included, drawn by the author's son!

He probably felt like time was running out, but I think in Hollywood's eyes, because he's in his 40's and unmarried/no girlfriend in sight, they needed him to look more like a family man. It's all about keeping up that guy-next-door-who-loves-dogs image. It's part taxi-cab theory, part Hollywood PR machine.//
The issue now is because of her; his fanbase is practically gone, and the GP thinks he's a creep who has turned into a HW cliche. They should have let him remain a bachelor. All his team did was destroy his career and reputation.
George Clooney didn't get married until he was well into his 40s, so they should have let Chris just be the guy who loves dogs. It's better than him settling for a nazi racist as his “wife.”
He needs to fire his PR team. They're terrible.
I think the difference between Chris and George is that George didn't hide his playboy image. Every woman knew who he really was, so they didn't expect much. Then, Amal came along and blew every woman out of the water. He still looks at her with love in his eyes.
But with Chris, he hides behind that fake persona. If he had been upfront like George, he wouldn't be stuck in this fake marriage, digging himself into an even deeper hole as each month passes. It's a damn shame, but there's a valuable lesson somewhere in this mess for him to learn.

I don't feel the Chris and Clooney comparison is quite accurate, even though that People article tried hard to sell Alba as the poor man's Amal. But I do agree with the others, that after his first marriage went up in flames, he never claimed he wanted a wife and babies.
Chris has been repeating this same tired talking point for over a decade now. That's why I don't understand why some Chris fans love to compare him to Clooney. Apples and oranges.
Also, I doubt he'll ever be able to pull someone of Amal's calibre. Don't think he'd be able to keep up with someone like that.
Then you and I think alike, Anon, because I've also never felt the Clooney comparison was on-point either. I think it's just that Clooney is one of the few other long-term, high profile bachelors out there in Hollywood, other than Di Caprio, lol.. And Di Caprio has always been upfront in his image when it comes to women.
Chris will never have an Amal type, because that's not what Chris is looking for. Everyone needs to go back and read what Chris has said when he describes the kind of woman he wants, it's completely different from Amal.

best books read in 2022 by yours truly, in no particular order:
the seven deaths of evelyn hardcastle by stuart turton (technically started in 2021 but finished in early january 2022, so it counts). murder mystery + time loop + redemption themes = perfect mix, 10/10 recommend
this is how you lose the time war by amal el-mohtar & max gladstone: space lesbians but what if they were enemies? lovely, lovely prose. one flaw tho: more of a ~i'm being poetic for the sake of being poetic~ than a character story. still, interesting read.
the plague by albert camus: i couldn't not include him. 5/5 stars, he's easily becoming one of my favorite authors.
hygiène de l'assassin by amélie nothomb: a female journalist succeeds where everyone else fails and interviews an old misanthropic and cynical nobel-winner author. but not everything is as it seems... insane little book, great characterization for the female protagonist. perfect ending. i couldn't put it down, thankfully it's quite short.
carmilla by j. sheridan le fanu: this doesn't need introductions, does it? :)
hedda gabler by henrik ibsen: a play revolving around a woman - daughter of a general, unsatisfied by her current circumstances and marriage. a fascinating female protagonist, especially for the time; the kind of writing you usually get for male characters, and a role every actress would give everything to play at least once.
salomé by oscar wilde: one act only, but it stays with you. particularly incisive adaptation of the biblical story; wilde's writing as usual is stunning.
an oresteia (agamemnon by aeschylus, elektra by sophokles, orestes by euripides) by anne carson: another read that doesn't need introductions.
the hours by michael cunningham: somehow based on mrs dalloway, it is about one day (and the life) of three women in three different time periods; among them, virginia woolf herself. lovely prose.
the cycle of earthsea by ursula k. le guin: series of 5 books (including one of short stories) masterfully written by ms le guin. the first book is a sort of fantasy buldingsroman about a young wizard named ged who, because of his hubris, makes a peculiar sort of enemy... the next books follow ged as he becomes an adult, a middle-aged, and an old man + a varied cast of characters (most importantly tenar, introduced in book 2). original worldbuilding and story (especially for the time - the first novel was published in the 60s), lovely prose and themes (light/dark as yin/yang, necessary to each other's existence - sw wishes it had what earthsea has) + beautiful love story in the last volumes. bonus: most characters in earthsea are very much not white. again, very avant-garde for the 60s, and something all adaptations deliberately ignored.
grendel by john gardner: based on the beowulf poem - the story told by the antagonist's point of view. just striking, and oh my god the themes. couldn't stop thinking about it for days.
in the night garden by catherynne m. valente: a girl trapped in a garden spins a labyrinth of fairy tales for a boy - the only person willing to listen to her - a la scheherazade. told in the usual beautiful prose made in valente, amazing settings and atmospheres.
the sundering duology by jacqueline carey. (thanks for the rec, @queen-zimraphel ❤️) basically a lotr retelling told by the Bad Guys' povs. the inspiration is clear but also it's meant to be a mirror and say 'what if?'. grey morality everywhere, elegant but simple prose + death and the maiden vibes from the local tormented dark lord/the beautiful elf lady. (tho the main love story is not about them specifically... but still.) a great tragedy, but masterfully told - this is how characters who were dead from the beginning and given a role to play in the narrative by a fate larger than them should be written.
honorary mentions to áqua viva by clarice lispector, waiting for godot by samuel beckett, enrico iv by luigi pirandello, and then there were none by agatha christie, sharp objects and gone girl by gillian flynn, in the margins by elena ferrante, ficciones by jorge luis borges, and obviously demons by fyodor dostoeveskij <3

It's me brainrot anon
We already saw faebur lying to reader to marry him, can it be done the other way around? Tricking faebur into marrying you, we don't know if this man can read, but if he could it would be funny? you believing that you tricked him so that in the end he would always know that you were trying to make him marry you He thinks you're so silly and he love it <3
Now, let's imagine you don't. I don't know if there is any of this around where most of you live but,, Where I live there is a thing called a "Kermés" it's like a amall circus/fair??, in it there is usually a "civil registration" booth where you can pretend to marry someone or a friend
I can imagine taking Faebur to this place and telling him "Let's get married :D". The way he said yes so fast <3 So that every time he wants to kiss you and you tell him no (maybe you have not even formalized the relationship) he says "But we are married, married people kiss :(" and you have to explain to him for the 20th time that the civil registry you guys went to wasn't real, so that he pulls out his copy of the paper and says "It says here we are married, you signed this!"
But it's also not like you would be able to deny this beautiful man anything
not so much in keeping with the fairy theme, but I think when I put this in notes I had about 2hrs of sleep ;;;;
(i hope you get some sleep soon hehe, and don't worry about it it's also good <3 i enjoy your asks)
the reader with a marriage license and a pen, "this is for the twelve different flowers you ordered the other day, they want your signature for the delivery." faebur signs with a heart because that's how honey taught him to write his name /j
but no that'd be so cute, he can't even be mad, he wants you to himself and to hear that your realm recognizes that you belong to him? with him? he learns about honeymoons and wants to experience it, with you of course.
also the booth thing. imagine it's their first time like, out and about together, after the reader's cleaned him up some and gave him fresh clothes that won't scare the general public. and the reader sees it and is like haha yeah lets get married and proceeds to get like jewelry from the fair as "the rings" or just to commemorate the "marriage" you know? and faebur is sincerely drooling over the reader.
asks for kisses all the time, says shit like, "didn't you say married people kiss? did you not married me?" while dangling the paper, pouting when you try to say no and then refuses to leave you alone for hours once you give in

“An Amal would never date him, “ by the time Clooney met Amal nobody really thought he will ever bag an Amal. Never say never, also we don’t know for sure that for THE one he won’t mind to relocate (what if she has kids from a previous marriage? Or just would love her country?) crazier stuff has happened. Also if I recall correctly, the Clooney’s main home base is the UK now.
I don’t think Clooney was so deeply rooted to a place like Chris is with MA, though 🦎
