FRANKLY? Adrien doesn't get rejected often, and it's rare that he misreads this situations. Doing so now wounds his ego, but he convinces himself he has a high tolerance for psychic pain.

"I am far from a pervert," he says, sounding so sharp that, yes, it's apparent that she's genuinely offended him. He shakes his head, tsks. "And my confusion is understandable. Anyway—I am sure we would have met eventually. Fate would demand it. And by fate, I do mean Bella."

This is not going to happen, he says, flat, and potentially hurtful, and Billie blinks.

Did he think she was hitting on him?

"This as in us meeting at all you perv." Billie scoffs, now actually indulging in the eye roll she'd so politely refrained from earlier. "I'm not trying to get into bed with you."

If Billie thought his resistance to get into bed with her was in any way due to unacknowledged feelings or loyalty for Bella, she might be pleased about it. Unfortunately, she suspects this is not the case - and suspects the real reason this is not going to happen is because she's not tiny and docile and able to be thrown around like Bella is. Such is life.

Starting off, Thank you all for your amazing suggestions!

We had a total of 11 responses and 47 unique ships. These split into 8 Garnet, 25 Rhodonite, and 14 Alexandrite. Another amazing stat is that one ship was suggested so many times (15) that it was promoted to Garnet. While it the ship seems to have plenty of Maribatters wanting it, it is still going through the voting process to be fair. Those in the discord know what ship that is. The next step is voting on the ships that Maribatters want to see as the Active Roster. The link will be featured below.

I have a DC X MLB prompt: Captain Marvel and MLB characters.

I want the Justice League to be appalled at Marinette and Chat's age, only for Marinette to turn to Captain Marvel and absolutely out him for his age.

I want her to notice he's not actually that old because of the way he talks. (There is a difference between how adults talk and use modern slang versus how younger people, such as teenagers and children talk and use modern slang).

I want him to look at her and be like, "Yep, I feel that."

I want them to bond over the fact that they were both given an obscene amount of magic and responsibility at an age that is far too young to actually have this put on them.

I want him to be immune to Akumas because he has magic invulnerability, making him one of the only outside heroes allowed into Paris without fear of him being Akumatized.

I don't necessarily want him to be in a romantic relationship with any of them, I just think that it would be really cool to see them interact and be friends.

Adrien, Melle, Ettie, Jian, Billy, and D'artagnan are all from my universe i'm calling Adara. I forgot Rianu but he's in the process of being renamed so it's okay that I forgot him.

Mieczyk Beznazwy is my OC for the Witcher fandom, self-insert, he's Doing His Best but there's a lot happening to him constantly.

Em'Ashael is my Inquisitor Lavellan, and she's having a hard time (this is the same but different version of Em from Lia & Em's Adventure in Thedas, I promise that sentence makes sense it's a lot to explain?)

Aylog, Krotki, Adhira'at, Cel and Lola are all from various TTRPGs i've played. Aylog is an orc (half-orc, just also both halves are orc), Krotki ended up being her son sort of? he's also half-orc and the other half is dwarf. Adhira'at is my tiefling warlock with dubious morals and even more dubious common sense. Lola is from a VTM/VTG (i don't super remember which one it was, i know it matters, we didn't get far in it before shit happened and i wasn't able to play with that group anymore) game, she's Nosferatu and very sweet but kind of unhinged. Cel is from a game with friends that one of my metamours is developing and they're vaguely aware that PTSD exists, has no idea they have it, and is dealing with it by being high all the time.

Aylog is the epitome of "ignorance is bliss" she had low int medium wis and a hilarious amount of charisma for a barbarian. i don't remember how much. she's doing amazing over there in the corner with her flower orc wife and her music dwarf husband. she would be very sad to know how Krótki is doing but that's why he doesn't send the full story to his three parents.
