Laertes isn’t quite sure what to do with himself. The dirt roads of their home town are just as good for wandering aimlessly as anywhere else.

Is it their home town? It’s just the place he happens to call home. But it’s closer than the hell where he was raised. The hell they just razed themself.

Blitz says nothing, though his sudden presence might still be startling enough even without any loud greetings. They certainly didn't part on good terms last time.

Laertes wanders the streets, looking for someone interesting. He doesn’t need to the way he used to, he actually has things to do now, places to be, loved ones to spend time with. But she’d spent years doing little else, and the hobby’s almost a comfort. God knows he could use some comfort, the way things have been lately.

She pauses by an alley. At the very end is a toilet, a person’s legs kicking around upside down like they’re halfway submerged. Glitter spills out of the top, suggesting it’s full of that and not water.

Blitz saying "Whaaat?"- Fuck the way he says that is like he completely forgot about his job needing transport to the human realm. I percieve this more as him having come to the conclusion that Stolas is tryna get rid of him. He doesn't believe him at ALL

This man is hopeless.

Literally jumps straight to assuming he isn't good enough. Stolas doesn't want him anymore. No way. What.

Blitzøs entire life spent being unwanted. So he adapted, and learned how to be something needed, something to be used.

Which is why I think he firmly believes he is being used by Stolas. He simply cannot fathom a different reality, one in which he is wanted for once in his life.
