i think about the better world/parallel dimension so much, man, like what happened to stanley after he left with that journal ? is he just off on a boat running away again still homeless ? did stan and Ford have a small reconciliation, did stan come back after leaving with that journal? WHAT ABOUT EMMA MAY AND TATE ?? DID FIDDS STILL ABANDON THEM, did fiddleford not have the memory gun, or did he not have a chance to really use it when Parallel Ford went to reconnect with fiddleford ?

im pretty sure the parallel world is just supposed to show how our ford thinks its all amazing and "better" because he got what he think he wanted in the end ( recognition , fame , someone who changed the scientific world ) but in reality the parallel world is kinda sad to me guys idk 😭 in that world ford never got to reunite with his brother. ( from what we know ) granted, the apocalypse never happened, and Ford didn't have to wipe stans memories, but they didn't even get to reunite like they did in our version of Gravity Falls. Did Tate ever come down to gravity falls to meet his father ? did Emma May and Tate move to Oregon to be with Fidds? did they still divorce because Emma, your husband MIGHT just be queer. I have so much going on in my brain over this au it makes me crazy

Okay, apologies in advance for the feels but I refuse to be the only one subject to my brains shenanigans-

Thinking of the "better world au" from journal three and I'm imaging what if somee weird magic stuff basically turned Stan into a guard against Bill entering their dimension

Like, I'm thinking maybe Stan pulled a Betty Grof and when he stumbled across wish magic, he wished for the power to keep his family safe, only instead of merging with a chaos entity Stan becomes a statue or he's transformed into something that makes it impossoble to accrss the journal he's holding.

And maybe an expedition group digs up magicified Stan and call in Ford for an inspection cause they don't know what they're looking at "but it's neat that it looks almost exactly like you, huh Dr.Pines?"

At first Ford tries to laugh it off as a coincidence but then they run some tests.

They find out their artifact is alive.

They find out its binding magic,meant to keep something hidden.

They fins Journal three and Ford can't ignore it anymore-this was Stanley, his twin, his little brother he sent away all those years ago, eternally stuck as nothing more than a magic safe for Stanfords mistake.

Cue a whoolleee lot of guilt, but also, for maximum angst, if they manage to undo it, Stan swinging between being angry at Ford but also secretly believing keeping the journal hidden was the one thing he did right and now its back with Ford and underneath Stan's prickly, passive aggressiveness is a concerningly low sense of self-esteem.

So in short: Stan twins gotta wrestle with hating themselves, lingering anger at each other, but also trying to be the bigger person (and failing miserably)

My official designs for Dipper and Mabel in my Oddology AU :3

Note: Oddology AU isn’t just some regular ABW!AU. This is completely different from my interpretation of the actual dimension, I just wanted to make something cool.

Story: An autistic 12-year old girl named Mabel Pines is sent to stay with her great uncle Stanford in Gravity Falls Oregon alongside her twin brother, Mason “Dipper” Pines while their parents get a divorce. There, the kids are surprised to find that their Grunkle Stan founded the International Institute of Oddology, alongside his business partner, Fiddleford McGucket. Grunkle Stan never attends family gatherings, so Dipper just assumed he was some sort of conman who ran a tourist trap or something. Mabel is ecstatic to spend some time with her Grunkle but he leaves her and Dipper in a secluded room with nothing but blank white walls away from all the “anomalies”. Fiddleford looks after the kids while they have their summer fun. One day, the hillbilly takes the twins to the beach to have some fun and while there, Dipper discovers an old journal washed up against the shore. He takes the journal home and opens it, not knowing it would change his life forever.

Explanations: I really wanted to do a lotta mustaches for the 9th day lol,the 10th day one is for the A Better World au cuz the prompt was "a better world" so i used the au where Parallel Fidds exists in,11th day was "What if.." and so i turned it into "What if Bill possessed Fidds?",12th day was too much coffee and so i made poor Fiddles experience tripping balls with him having like twelve times the usual amount of energy he has due to being on both a weed AND coffee high,and 13th day is Society of the Blind Eye so have cult Fiddles :].

OH MY GODDD. BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL HAPPY ENDING. THEY *DON'T* HAVE THE HORRIBLE LOVE TRIANGLE ANYMORE,EMMA MAY SUPPORTS THEM. AAAAAAA I LOVE ITTT. So Emma May is a lesbian and Fidds is gay but they end up having a kid anyway cuz Fidds wanted one and so friend fucking and then Tate comes around. Instead of Fidds going on a crazy ramble about the end of the world and Bill,he actually talks to his damn wife and they end up doing research together with his new boyfriend while Tate and Emma May get to live luxuriously with the two nerds' success. Fantastic,avant garde clapping clapping.

ok so basically im gonna explain the og timeline first so that i can like. define where the paths diverged into abw. emma may and fidds met when they were younger (about 1960 or so?). they were really good friends and all. fidds transitioned(1968), theyre still good cause em is supportive and all that. so now because its a boy and a girl people were like “relationship when?” and because fidds liked guys and em just. wasnt that interested in marriage in general. they were like “okay then. we can pretend we’re dating. thats fine.” so they did because they thought it would be the most simple way out of it. and then they runaway to college together (1972). fidds meets stanford, em probably kisses a few girls, idk. and then after college they got married (1977). now fidds actually wanted to have a kid. even outside of the whole religious and general societal pressures. and em was fine with that. this won’t make things complicated at all whatsoever. so they have tate. everything is going perfectly fine. 

and then that phone call happened (1980)

so fidds leaves. em is now in california with tate. fidds says he’ll be back soon. and about 2 years later is when it diverges. in the og timeline, fidds just doesnt come back. he gives a phone call, but its all cryptic and like. horrifying. so they divorce. the problem was less that he was out with stanford. that wasnt the issue. it was that he just left her behind entirely to deal with a kid that he wanted in the first place. so then they divorce. mostly to keep tate safe. even though that backfires completely and he leaves to go after fidds anyways (2002) which is an entirely different can of worms that i will also yap about if anyone wants me to.. HOWEVER. in abw, fidds calls em after the portal is called off. he has clearer communication and basically says “hey we called off the project because it was super dangerous. but i wanna stay in gravity falls with stanford and we’re gonna do really big things and have a bunch of money” so they work out a situation. em and tate move to oregon, theyre still married. they stay best friends. tate has both parents (including an extra dad lmao) and everyone is happy for the most part. em is actually pretty interested in the work that fidds and stanford do, so she visits sometimes to just watch what goes on and listen to fidds ramble on about it for a while, which is what was depicted in the fiddtober drawing. tldr; abw em doesnt divorce fidds. moves to oregon. supports him and stanford.  everyone happy.

At first, Timmy was adamantly against the Pixies. He'd tell Jorgen every time he got a notice of their plans to take over Fairyworld, and work to stop it! But it gets a bit harder to resist against your own court the longer you hang out with them.

In the present time, Timmy schedules to be out of FairyWorld during their takeovers. He doesn't try to stop them, but also refuses to be anywhere near when it happens.

He... doesn't like how he's slowly starting to cheer for them. Or how their arguments are becoming more convincing. Or how he's struggling to recall why he was so against them to begin with.

There will come a point where he becomes an active participant. Timmy worries that it's coming sooner than he'd like.

It’s basically just a mixup of a bunch of different AUs, mainly Gravity Rises and A Better World.
