Sara And Keir

I had a meeting after college today about the book I’ve been writing.

This was a huge deal for me and my future, so I couldn’t fuck it up.

Before the meeting I had to stop and my friends house real quick.

Let’s just say, this friend is a trip.

12:30pm

When I arrived at his house I always gazed over how big his house was.

His parents were filthy rich and always somewhere around the world.

To be completely honest I don’t even think they acknowledged him much.

Since his parents were gone so much we usually threw parties or had our own kickbacks.

Keir was the basic stoner who everyone knew and everyone wanted to be around.

However, he only liked to be around my friend Charlotte and I.

Never understood it and probably never will.

“Keir open up I know you’re in there!” I shouted from the front yard.

“Out back Sara!” Keir shouted from the backyard.

“Why is he in the pool it’s fucking cold?..” I whispered to myself.

I ran to the backyard and of course his dog named Corn Dog looked as high as Keir was on a daily.

Keir may be rich but he dressed as if he was poor and never really bathed.

He was very good looking and caring under all the drugs and the fact that he never dressed up.

He was almost like a brother to me.

“Keir I need my purse I left it here last night.” I said standing over Keir by his extremely big pool.

“Or you can sit down and smoke this fantastic blunt with me?” He said sitting on a oversized donut float.

“Why are you in the pool it’s still Winter?” I asked.

“You can’t feel anything when you’re high.” He said.

“Is that so? Alright well I gotta grab my purse and go. I got somewhere to be.” I said walking inside.

“You still up for Cactus tonight right?!” He shouted from the pool.

“Keir have I ever missed the Cactus?!” I shouted back.

“You right!” He said.

The Cactus was a really cool and laid back cafe in town that all the young adults went to on weekends.

My friends and I were there a little too much.

Most days we went for food and drink and other days we went to just dance.

Then some days when we just wanted to get away we would drive somewhere out of the city to see the stars.

Those were the best days.

“Unbelievable. He took money from me.” I whispered to myself.

There was no time to kill him yet,

because I was already late..

Sara 'dramatically speaking'

Writing stories has always been such a great subject for me. In school I always came up with the most brilliant stories and even aced all my Writing test.

I moved up a grade but in all honestly I’m just saying that to make myself feel better with what I’m about to tell you.

About this horrible yet bittersweet Spring break I just had. Truthfully me being smart in school doesn’t compare or change how I feel about what happended this Spring break.

Dramatically speaking, I don’t think anyone else my age would ever go through something like this.

Like I said, ‘dramatically speaking’.

I’d do a long story short but I’d give away too much. Instead I chose to write about it all and tell you from here and so on.

I am not the bad person in this cheesy love story and I’m not the good person either. I also believe my professor might just like this story just like all my others.

Now where to start?

I guess a dramatic and sad intro perhaps? Let’s begin!

It all started in the Winter. The coldest and most depressing season of the year.

"Haha , excellent.." I whispered to myself.

I usually slept a lot or worked on my writing. In the Summer my Dad and I moved to Austin Texas where we could start new and fresh.

My Mother ruined our family back home and it left me feeling very traumatized about loving anyone else other than my Father. We don't need to go into anymore detail about her.

I will say this , she spent a lot of our last days together avoiding me and drinking her life away.

It left me feeling very sad and numb. The women who has loved me more than anything no longer loved me anymore.

A couple weeks after moving , I finally made friends and saw how great it felt to be moving forward.

You really can start over, or as I thought so.

"You are so over dramatic!" Said my good friend Keir.

"Why are you spying on my writing Keir." I asked.

"Hey if I'm in this story can you make me sound like the cool guy who gets all the bitches?" He said winking horribly.

"Um , we'll see." I said Turing back around to my laptop.

Anyway, Dad said Austin was a great place for opportunity and adventure. And since I'm a writer, it seemed like a good place to go. I'm Sara by the way, and well, just keep reading...
