2G/3G/4G Combo Screw Mount Antenna with RG174 Cable (L-3MTR) + SMA (M) St. Connector
A 2G/3G/4G combo screw mount antenna is a type of antenna designed to support multiple generations of cellular technology, namely 2G (GSM), 3G (UMTS), and 4G (LTE). These antennas are typically used in applications where there's a need for reliable cellular communication across different generations of networks.
The "screw mount" aspect refers to how the antenna is installed; it typically involves screwing the antenna onto a suitable surface, such as the roof of a vehicle or a fixed structure. This type of mounting provides stability and durability, making it suitable for outdoor and rugged environments.

UHF的优点介绍: ❀ Antenna independence Most of the card readers on the market are integrated with the antenna, but this greatly increases the cost of maintenance and the difficulty of repair. JUTAI was dared to separate the UHF antenna and its control board from the card reader itself, greatly reducing repair cost and power dissipation. ❀ It can perfectly work with UHF sticker/tag It is more convenient to work with a serial of UHF stickers/tag. A ideal solution for hands-free vehicle access control system. ❀ Best reading range: 10meters (The installation UHF reader should avoid direct contact with the metal, with a distance of 10-15cm). With JUTAI UHF card or sticker, the distance of card reading is more stable. ❀ UHF card with card sticker become hands-free access control Passing high and low temperature testing, JUTAI card sticker can be completely attached to the windshield of the car or the outside of the car, and the card can be read automatically. ❀ UHF Frequency Setting JUTAI's UHF passive readers can be set to different frequencies depending on the actual situation to meet the different needs of customers in various countries. 例如: Country Frequency in Mhz Bangladesh 925-927Mhz Colombia 902-928Mhz Costa Rica 902-928Mhz India 865-868Mhz Indonesia 923-925Mhz United Arab Emirates 865-867Mhz Jordan 865-868Mhz Malaysia 919-923Mhz Mexico 902-928Mhz Oman 865.6-867.6Mhz Thailand 920-925 ❀ Low radiation value After rigorous testing, the radiation value of JUTAI's UHF reader is much lower than international standards, and can be used safely for human body. ❀ Block Compared with the traditional plastic cover, the hard shell cover has the function of convenient maintenance and better protection of the product, no waste and no cost increase. ❀ IP65 https://www.instagram.com/p/BvtsiXjjhIa/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=o3i2vvv8t78z

The current configuration. The new U-Blox GPS is in the 3D printed box at the front (ignore the google eyes). The GPS antenna is on top. The two rear antennas are the 925MHz antenna for the GPS RTK messages, on the right, and the 2.4GHz antenna for the XBee on the left.
The Adafruit IMU is in the 3D printed tower although, as I’m not using the compass, the isolation is unnecessary.
The pictures also show the 6 IR Proximity Detectors, the DIN charging socket, and the switch. The button on the back disables the motors for safety.

Navigation Plan B
I’ve been working with some Inertial Measurement Units, particularly with the magnetometer (compass) function. I planned to use the compass to align the robot towards its destination, before starting, and to convert the odometer readings into a navigation input (direction + distance) to improve on GPS accuracy.
I tried two IMUs; a Mini-IMU from Pololu and then an Absolute Position Sensor from Adafruit. The problem I had was that they needed calibration before use. The Absolute Position Sensor, for example, needed to be tipped onto each axis to calibrate the accelerometer, sit still to calibrate the gyro, and be waved about to calibrate the magnetometer! I found I could pull the calibration data out, and reload it on startup to avoid the accelerometer calibration, and the gyro took care of itself, but the magnetometer needs calibration each time the robot powers up - not gonna happen!
So, Plan B is no compass. Instead I’ll use just the gyro for relative motion, and I’ve invested in a more accurate GPS. I bought a U-Blox C94-M8P Development Kit. This is a pair of modules incorporating a GPS and a 925MHz radio. One module is fixed (with an antenna on the workshop roof) and the other is mobile. The fixed unit sends satellite correction messages (RTK protocol) to the rover. This allows it to correct its own satellite measurements for atmospheric effects and deliver an accuracy in centimeters! It seems to work.
So, I no longer need to fuse the odometer/compass data with the GPS for sufficient location accuracy. Also, once moving, the GPS will give a good heading and, after stopping, the gyro will enable a turn towards the next destination. I just need to tell it where it’s pointing when I switch it on. (Just accurately enough so that it doesn’t hit anything before the GPS tells it to correct its course!)
We’ll see how this works.
