Look. I'm too impatient to wait even longer, and so far the 'google forms' is winning, though I ended up using Microsoft Forms because I confused the two. Anyway, here it is!

In this form, which is ANONYMOUS, I do not see your name or mail or other information, so it's completely safe, you can suggest the prompts for Buddie Week 2025!

Please read the info in the form before answering to avoid answering the wrong thing.

It will be open until February 5th! Unless there are a lot of prompts before then. If it closes earlier I will put a post at least 24 hours before I close it.

What is Buck and Bobby week?

This is a week dedicated to Buck and Bobby from 911 and celebrating their father-son relationship. While a popular relationship, it's not a relationship that people often write about. So, with this event, we make sure there are plenty of new fic for us Buck & Bobby lovers!

What is the schedule?

Today (January 4th) the poll to vote for which month to fo Buck & Bobby week went up and goes for 7 days.

After there will be a poll to determine which week it will be, also running for 7 days.

Once we have a date, I will start working on a form where you can submit prompts and share this. This will be open for around a month. Less depending on how much time is left until the chosen date.

Once the form is closed, I will make a new form where you can vote for your favorite prompts. In the end we need 21 word/trope prompts (example: hugs, navy seal buck, hurt/comfort) and 10 sentence prompts (example: "did you steal my hoodie?", "what do you think you're doing?", "have you eaten yet?")

Depending on how many prompts and the results of votes, there could be a third form with the winning prompts to narrow it down more.

Then I'll make a post with the winning prompts and you can start writing!

And then we'll have Buck and Bobby week :)

Are there any rules?

AI is NOT allowed. Use of AI will end with your posts removed from the AO3 collection and being blocked on Tumblr. AI is theft.

This is to celebrate the father-son relationship between Buck and Bobby, NOT romantically. Romantic fics between them will not be included or reposted.

No abuse or SA taking place between Buck and Bobby. You can for other characters, but PLEASE tag accordingly! Use warning in both the warning section and the tags. I also recommend putting these warnings in an author's note and while posting on Tumblr. These are topics a lot of people want to avoid.

If a fic includes bashing of other characters, please tag accordingly as well. And, obviously, no Buck or Bobby bashing. (It would be preferable no bashing at all, but I'm not going to forbid or restrict you from writing it if you want to.)

No stealing, duh

I can't think of anything else, I try not to limit things. If you have a suggestion, let me know.

Do I have to sign up?

Nope. You can just post when it's time. Of course it's fun to let people know you're participating, but that's completely your own choice.

Can I be anonymous?

Sure! I do have to say a lot of people avoid anonymous fics because a lot of times they're very triggering or hateful to people. But if you don't feel comfortable using a username, it's a great way to still share your work. And I'm sure plenty of people still read anonymous fics.

Do I have to do all days?

Nope. While that is the most fun, if there's only one day you have time or inspiration for, that's amazing as well. You can skip days you don't want to do. It's completely up to you.

Is it limited to fics?

It's not! You can use any form of creativity. Think of:

Video edit

Picture edit

Moodboard

Podfic

Poetry

Anything else creative you can think of.

Is there a minimum or maximum word count?

Nope. No restrictions here either. This means you can also submit snippets. Or a full on novel with 100k+ words. Every number is allowed :)

How do I get it into the AO3 collection?

The collection isn't created yet and will be around a month before the event. Once it's created you can find the option 'post to collections / challenges' right underneath 'associations'. In this you search for the name, which I'll post on here once it's created. Once your fic is posted it'll be added to the collection.

I've never posted on AO3 before and don't know how.

I'm planning on making a quick tutorial soon, either on here or on @911buddieweek in which I'll explain the meanings of each parts, like ratings and warnings and the most used meanings behind them. Keep an eye out! If you want to know before I post, you can send me a message.

I have a different question

Don't be afraid to send an ask or message! I'll try to get back to you ASAP. I don't have tumblr notifications on, but I'm chronically online so I'll hopefully see it quickly. (I do like in Europe so if you're not European we might have a different timezone. But you can send it any time you want and I'll see it when I wake up.)

Welcome to 118 Daily Drabble

118 Prompts; 118 Words; 100 Days

Starting November 27th, around 1:00pm EST, a one word prompt will be posted to this blog for 100 consecutive days ending on March 6th. Anyone who wants to can use the word to write a 9-1-1 drabble that equals exactly 118 words. This is a real drabble challenge.

General Rules:

Drabbles must be 118 words exactly. (Since different word counters sometimes give different results, we are using AO3 as a standard.)

The word of the day must be included in your drabble. However, the words themselves do not need to be exact. For example, if the word is zip, it could be used as zip, zipping, zipper, zipped, and unzip. The words may also have double meanings and can be used either way. For example, complex can mean both difficult or can mean a group of similar buildings. Both would be accepted.

There are 18 words that can be used as replacement words throughout. For example, say the word of the day is goal but you can’t think of anything, you can use one of the 18 replacement words instead.

If you aren’t a writer or are inspired to create something for a prompt that isn’t writing, please feel free! As long as the creation incorporates the prompt, it is allowed. (Other creations could be art, poetry, podfic, etc.) 

Content Rules: 

Drabbles must use characters from 9-1-1 on ABC. (You can write for 911LS if you’d like, but only drabbles from 9-1-1 on ABC will be reblogged and/or accepted as part of the collection.)

There are no content restrictions. As long as your fic is tagged appropriately, you can write whatever you want. (This includes ratings, warnings, ships, etc. We are not here to police writing, only to encourage it.)

911 Countdown to Christmas

What is 911 countdown to Christmas?

A 9-1-1 focused event in which we countdown to Christmas with fanworks. This can be fics, edits, art, playlists, poems, or anything else you can think of. If you choose the 24-days option, you post one prompt a day. If you choose the 12-days option, you can choose between two dates to post a prompt. Fanworks can be focused on relationships, friendships, or a singular character.

Why this account?

I did a poll on @911buddieweek and though the option to host this on there won, I felt like it could get confusing to host it on there since this is not a Buddie-only event, which is why I made this separate account.

This way people who don't want to participate or follow Buddie Week can keep updated on this event, and updates for events will be separated

Do I have to post every day?

Nah, you can do whatever you want! If only 3 of these speak to you, you can only post those 3 days. It's entirely up to you!

Are there rules?

Tag accordingly - this event is open to all ages. Smut is allowed, but make sure it's tagged as such! Also tag trigger warnings.

No character bashing (though toxic parents don't count... bash away). Let's stay positive in this event. It's open for everyone in the 911 fandom...

...EXCEPT if you're gonna write pedophilia fics please stay away. Adult/minor fics will be removed.

The use of AI is NOT allowed.

Where can I post?

Anywhere you want! I will be making a collection on AO3 once December nears. You can post on here, on insta, twitter, any other place I can't think of at the moment.

Is this time limited?

It's okay if you miss a day, or post 12 fics on the same day. While the purpose is to count down, you can post whenever you want. Heck, if you're from the future and living in 2026, you can still post too! The ao3 collection will stay open.

Do I have to sign up?

Nope, you can just join. Though I'd love to know if you reply/reblog saying if you're participating!

Welcome to Buddie Microfics!

Welcome to the new daily blog in which we are going to post fics monthly starting from November and onward.

What is a microfic? A microfic is a tiny fic that is usually under 1,000 words, however we are not going to be super picky here. If you'd like to go over 1,000 words, then you may do so. Although, our maximum word count for this blog will be 3,000.

You'll be able to find more about these rules on the faq page.

Who can you write about? This blog is for our favorite firefighters Buck and Eddie, also known as Buddie, from 9-1-1. You can include other characters from the show of course, but your fic must be focused on the Buddie ship. That's all we ask.

We will start posting the prompts on November 1st, and we are excited to see what everyone will come up with!

hi! i'm @heartbeatdiaz and i love, love reading poetry and writing silly little poems myself! especially about these two gay firefighters. so, i thought it'd be fun to make a mini event for all poetry authors in the fandom.

Today you had your day off from work and didn’t have anything special planned until Buck texted you.

“Hey, do you have something planned for today?” He texted and reading his message immediately made you smile. You and Buck have been friends for a while. Spending time together makes you happy and it always makes your butterflies grow for Buck. You also met his friends and his sister a few times, which is always a lot of fun.

“No, not really.”

“Do you want to come over? Maddie will bring Jee later and I could need some help.”

Buck texted, making you chuckle. You remember the last time he took care of Jee and then there was a lot of chaos in his apartment.

“Sure, I bet it will be fun.” You texted with a smile.

“That’s for sure. See you later” Your smile grew bigger, and you couldn’t wait to see Buck again.

A while later you were getting ready to drive to Buck’s apartment. When you arrived there, you hugged Buck and then could already hear Jee.

“Hi” Buck said softly after you broke the hug.

“Hey.” You said quietly, making Buck smile.

“So, what are our plans?” You asked and Jee came running towards you.

“We’re making cookies.” Jee said excited, and you looked over at Buck who nodded with a smile.

“That sounds amazing, sweetie.” You said and Jee giggled. Buck then knelt down and picked her up.

“Let’s go to the kitchen and get started.” Buck suggested and you nodded. You went into the kitchen and Buck gave you and Jee an apron.

“Thank you.” You said as Buck put the apron over your head. Buck showed you the recipe and you helped him put everything you needed on the kitchen counter. Then you started baking the cookies. It was a lot of fun, and you really enjoyed your time with Buck and Jee. Sometimes you read what the next step was and then Buck showed Jee how to do it, or sometimes you and Buck did something together.

After a while you had a whole baking tray full of cookies. You were just about to put the second tray of cookies in the oven when you heard Jee giggling behind you and Buck making a “Shh” sound. You weren’t sure what would happen when you turned around, but you definitely weren’t expecting that. Because as you turned around, Buck suddenly threw a handful of flour into your way, and it landed on your apron and your face.

“Buckley.” You yelled as started laughing and Jee giggled.

“You’ll definitely regret that.” You said and grabbed some flour, smiled at him and then threw it at him. Jee laughed as Buck now started grinning and taking another handful of flour and throwing it at you.

“Let the flour fight begin.” He said and threw more flour on you.

“Will you help me, Jee?” You asked her and she immediately grabbed some flour.

“Jee, I thought you were on my side.” Buck asked in a sad voice while she was already throwing some flour at him. A while later, you and Buck were both covered in flour while Jee little had a bit of flour. Suddenly someone knocked on Buck’s door while you were all eating a cookie. Buck quickly went to the door and opened it. You could tell from the voices that it was Maddie and Chim who were there to pick up Jee.

“Woah, it looks like a bomb exploded here.” Chim said when they walked into the kitchen and looked at Buck and you.

“A flour bomb.” Jee said and yawned.

“Looks like someone’s tired.” Maddie said. Then she thanked Buck and you for taking care of Jee. Buck gave them some cookies and after a while they left. Suddenly you and Buck were alone. When you looked at each other, you both laughed.

“I think we should clean up.”

“Yeah, that’s a good idea.” At first you washed your face and then helped Buck clean up. After a while, Buck looked at you with a smile.

“You still have a bit of flour on your right cheek.” Buck mumbled. You chuckled and tried to rub it away with your finger.

“Is it gone?” You asked, but Buck shook his head.

“Can I?” He asked and you nodded. Then Buck placed his hand on your cheek and gently rubbed it away.

“You have a bit of chocolate on your lip too.” He said and gently placed his finger on your lip. Tension started to build between you two and then suddenly you said something you didn’t really want to say.

“Why don’t you kiss it away?”

“Are you sure?” He asked and then started to smile when you nodded. Then he placed his hand on your cheek and pulled you into a gentle kiss. When you turned away, Buck smiled at you, and you smiled back at him. Buck reached for your hand and then asked.

“Would you like to stay a little longer?”
