I've noticed that with Emu ships, Emu is usually the forward one, the one who initiates or searches for the other one, the one that does the cuddling, kissing, praising, (accidentally) flirting, etc.

Similarly in Rui ships, Rui is the forward one, who is also doing all these things + yearning and flirting and creating for the other person.

Hence why emurui is so cute, because in this ship they are both depicted like that, wanting to make the other smile and getting creative with it and just kinda brimming with affection. They both get someone who is showering them with love in their own way and gets them just fine.

Rui giving the teachers trouble and having them chase him around the school whenever Emu visits Kamikou to distract them so that they won't catch her and kick her out sounds like a really cute headcanon except it's not a headcanon, he really does that, did you see the clip? I just saw the clip. how crazy is that? is that not cute? it's super cute right. it's so cute ;v;

Because they record the full version of every song separately that means that there exists the possibility of an emurui alt for every song they have sung as a full unit. Emurui Miracle Paint, emurui Chururira, emurui Ego Rock, Love Ka, It's a Wonderful Cat Life, and Solar System Disco...

here's other older doodles I had done of emu and rui. I should've checked this one as reference for the other lol, Emu's hair looks a bit neater. and a sweater like that might be a bit more proper (but Emu canonically wears cute sweaters... hmmm). would Emu bocchan have the same taste in fashion? probably.
