Okay so imagine, Tommy coming to the dispatch center to talk to Maddie.

After he leaves this happens

Josh: So who was that?

Maddie: he-

Josh, gasping: DONT TELL ME YOUR CHEATING ON CHIMNEY?!

Maddie: No! He’s just a friend plus he’s gay

Josh: oh-

Maddie: and taken

Josh, sighing: all the good ones are.

Maddie:…by buck.

Josh:

Josh: THAT BITCH IS OUT FOR ONE DAY AND HE GETS THAT?! IVE BEEN OUT TWENTY YEARS? WHERES MY HUNK!?

Maddie: to be fair Tommy kissed him first- he kinda helped Buck realize he was bi

Josh: of course he did. Lucky bitch.

chimney: *passes a clipboard to buck* please take over our wedding planning

One of the only good parts of the episode

I have a theory that Eddie is going to be hospitalized for psychological treatment and that's why "Eddie is going to be isolated from everyone".

I feel that Buck is going to see Kim (confirmed by the actress herself) and is going to go crazy and try to help Eddie, but he won't be able to, so he calls the 118, but they don't succeed either and Buck ultimately calls the Diaz's family, maybe Eddie's Abuela (there are bts photos of her and Chris in the loft) and she is the one who decides to call Edddie's entire family to have an intervention (there are bts photos and videos of them filming) and Eddie decides that "okay, maybe I really need help".

What no one knows is that Chris would not stay with his grandparents, but rather that he would stay with Buck (the will) and probably also that Buck is the one who can make decisions about Eddie's health (this is not confirmed, but I don't know why Eddie would put Buck in his will for Chris and not choose him to take care of Eddie himself if something happens to him regarding his health), and that makes Eddie's entire family angry.

So season 8 would begin with Eddie still hospitalized or maybe not but still unable to work, completely alone because his family is still angry, his son is still living with Buck who is angry with him for all the decisions he made and without being able to approach 118 because he can't work.

(Maddie could be of great help here, because she went through something similar and would give us scenes of them together, as both actors said they would like to finally have some kind of interaction on the show)

And in this solitude and treatment Eddie can finally learn to live his life and heal his trauma, which I feel will address his arc for at least half of season 8.

(And it would be very interesting to see how all this affects Buck because now he is going to have to take care of a probably very angry and hurt Christopher who misses his father. Buck would perhaps have to move to Eddie's house and live with his ghost , and the anger of knowing that maybe Eddie got confused but Buck failed because he couldn't save him.

There's also the Tommy question of everything because... is Tommy ready for this? Can he help Buck take care of Chris? Does he want to do it? Can he live with his new boyfriend missing Eddie and acting like another man's abandoned wife?)

I’m getting movie night vibes.

From what we’ve seen in the S2 Begins episodes, I think Chimney and Tommy bonded over a shared love of movies.

Buckley Headcanon: the Buckleys were the type of parents to limit their kids screen time — except when they were sick. When Daniel got sick, he watched as much TV as he wanted, and then that was the only thing he could do because of how weak he was from chemo. Afterwards, the Buckley parents didn’t want the reminder of a sick kid and Maddie and Buck weren’t allowed to watch TV or movies.

Then Maddie was under Doug’s control and only watched what he wanted to watch when he wanted to watch it.

And Buck was traveling, so he spent more time in the car listening to music (and became a music connoisseur) than watching movies.

But now…

The Buckley siblings are dating Chimney and Tommy.

So they all get together for Buckley-Kinard-Han movie nights where Buck and Maddie indulge in their movie buff partners’ hobby and watch fondly over a bottle of wine shared between them while their partners geek out together.

Here's how the BuckTommy break-up should've went down...

Tommy reveals that him and Abby were previously engaged and Buck become visibly bothered at the mention of her When Tommy presses him on it, he tells him about his history with her and how she just left him in LA without bothering to formally break-up with him, along with him finding out she was engaged when they encountered each other at the train emergency.

But Tommy being Tommy ends up cracking a couple of jokes at Buck's expense and is relatively insensitive about how Abby's ghosting impacted Buck, leaving Buck hurt and a bit embarrassed as Tommy leaves him to pay the bill.

Then, he can go to see Maddie at work where he vents to her about what happened. Then they can have the whole scene with Joss giving his advice.

BUT, instead of listening solely to Josh, Buck goes to see Hen.

Buck tells her about what happened and she is immediately sympathetic. He ends up telling her that he never expected Tommy to be so insensitive about what he went through with Abby and how it didn't seem to be like him, only for Hen to make a slight jab about how that's exactly what Tommy is like. Buck is immediately alarmed and ends up pressing Hen to tell him more until she finally caves. She tells him about the way Tommy treated her when she first came to the 118 and how he did the same thing to Chim. She even decides to go as far as to make him privy to the conversation she and Karen had with Tommy at the medal ceremony.

Buck, obviously, is stunned and horrified at what he learned and immediately leaves the Wilson household.

Once he's back home, he spends the whole time running through his entire relationship with Tommy from the first kiss up to now. And while he can think back to a couple of good moments, the moments that come back up the most are the bad ones.

Him leaving Buck behind at the restaurant.

Him devouring cupcakes while Eddie's getting his heart shattered.

How pessimistic he was at the medal ceremony reception.

How he practically admitted he and his coworkers were laughing at him getting his shoulder relocated.

Him not bothering to indulge his research.

How he practically called him ugly because of his boils and didn't even attempt to kiss him.

Every single comment he made on how hot he was and not a single one about his interests, likes, or him as a person.

And as of late, him making jokes about him being ghosted.

All instances where he felt stomped on while his partner was going on like nothing happened.

The same way that Abby did when he learned she ghosted him and came back in his life with a whole new fiance.

After that, Buck calls Tommy to meet him at his place.

Later that night, Tommy comes over and Buck lays out everything on the table. He tells him about how hard and lowkey embarrassing it was to tell him about how he was also seeing Abby and how the relationship ended and how he didn't appreciate how Tommy reacted to it. Tommy tries to deflect and say that he was only being funny, but Buck pushes back. He brings up all of the times he hurt him and how it surprised him to know that he's done the same to so many people.

Tommy ends up asking where he got that from and Buck says nothing. But after a few seconds, he asks if Hen or Chim told him something and Buck gets furious. He scolds Tommy for being so bigoted towards them and how it made no sense for him to treat them like that when he was a gay man. Tommy tries to make an excuse about him being in the closet and going along with Gerrard to protect himself, but Buck immediately shuts it down.

The two of them continue to have a back and forth and it isn't until Tommy tells him to "grow up" that Buck stops arguing, a look of finality flashing across his face. He ends up telling Tommy point blank that he really liked him and how he made him realize a part of himself that he never knew existed, but he couldn't be with someone so dismissive and so capable of hurting other people with no regard for their feelings.

Tommy immediately laughs it up and asks Buck if he's actually breaking up with him. And Buck says yes with no hesitation.

Seeing that he's serious, Tommy heads to the door but not before commenting on how he thought Buck was cute and how they could have some fun out of it, but he was wrong. He opens the door and says "See you around, Evan."

And Buck, with a look of seriousness and resigned hurt, simply says.

"My name is Buck. If you actually cared to know me, you'd know that."

And Tommy simply shrugs and leaves.

Han Kinard family dinner where Evan asks Tommy to do something and Tommy responds with “as you wish” and of course, Chimney chuckles and shakes his head and Maddie gives him a weird look and he’s like.

“Yknow. Princess bride?”

And both Maddie and Evan tilt their heads in that Buckley way and go “whats that?”

Chimney and Tommy look at each other in horror, wondering what family they married into

Buck: eddie kissed me!

Hen: Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!

Buck: It was unbelievable!

Hen: Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!

Chim: Okay, we wanna hear everything. Hen, get the wine and unplug the phone. Buck, does this end well or do we need tissues?

Buck: Oh, it ended very well.

Hen: Do not start without me! Do not start without me!

Chim : Okay, alright, let’s hear about the kiss. Was it a soft brush against your lips or was it like a, you know, “I gotta have you now” kind of thing?

Buck: Well, at first it was really intense, you know? And then, oh God, and then we just sort of sunk into it.

Chim : Ohh... So, okay, were they holding you? Or were their hands on your back?

Buck: First they started out on my waist and then they slid up and then they were in my hair.

Hen and Chim : Ohhh.

*meanwhile*

Buck eating pizza in their house: And, uh, and then I kissed them.

Maddie: Tongue?

Buck: Yeah.

Maddie: Cool.
