Critics tend to call me out for lack of leg work and development…but actually I do work legs a lot of times twice a week in different ways. I tend to not post them as much because honestly I’m not as proud of their development as my upper body. Nobody is a bigger critic than myself. The toughest battle is silencing the doubts and insecurities in my own head. But yet I persist because no mountain was ever scaled in a single step!! 🏔🏃

Finally, Rain

The sky's been cloudy all day

I've been wondering when it will rain.

Will it rain?

Then suddenly I look up and

a droplet hits my cheek and I'm relieved,

I’m relieved.

Cuz it's finally pouring out;

I’m finally able to express myself.

It’s been building up all day,

Making my broken heart ache. 

I thought it would fall multiple times,

but it held back,

until the right time.

When no one’s there to judge

and I don’t have to run 

and hide the tears in my eyes.

The sky’s been cloudy all day—

I’ve been wondering when it will rain,

will it rain?

Then suddenly I looked up, 

and I felt the droplet hit my cheek.
