Psalm 8 3When I look at your heavens that your fingers made, the moon and the stars that You set up, 4what is man that You should think of him, or the son of man that You should come and visit him? 5You make Him do without God for a little while; then crown Him with glory and majesty 6and make Him ruler over what Your hands have made, putting everything under His feet: 7All the sheep and cattle, and the wild animals too, 8birds in the air, and fish swimming in the paths of the seas. 9O LORD, our Lord, how wonderful is Your name all over the earth! As we ponder the heavens, the moon and the stars made by the fingers of God we marvel that He would take notice of us. Indeed, that is one of the atheist arguments against a God that is personal to us--”Do you think if there was a God who made all this he would care about this puny little planet out in the middle of nowhere?” Well, yes, yes He would because He created all this for us. Why should God, the LORD think of man or the son of man that He should come and visit him? The author of Hebrews says this is talking about Jesus in chapter 2: 5He didn't put the coming world that we're talking about under the control of angels. 6But somewhere someone has declared: What is man that you should think of him? Or a son of man that You should come to help him? 7You make Him lower than the angels for a little while then crown Him with glory and honor and make Him Ruler over what Your hands have made 8and put everything under His feet. Now, when He put everything under His feet, He left nothing outside His control. While Jesus refers to himself as the Son of Man in reference to Daniel 7, he also takes Psalm 8 into account in referring to himself. This is part of Jesus' humiliation which commences at his conception and continues until his death and burial. Having become man, he humbled himself to be like us in every way excepting sin. Now ascended to the right hand of the Father he is crowned with glory and majesty. Yet, this also speaks of us in this age. Man was made in the image and likeness of God in Genesis chapter one. Dominion was given him over the beasts, the birds, the sea creatures and putting everything under our feet. Yet we lost that to some degree when we sinned in Adam, rebelling against our heavenly Father and eating the forbidden fruit. Yet, because the Word of God, the Son of God, humbled himself to become one of us and ransomed us, redeemed us with his blood, everyone who put their faith in him, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we will become something greater than we were before. We are to become like Jesus at the resurrection. In some sense this has already begun because Paul writes in Ephesians 2, “6And since we are in Christ Jesus, He raised us with Him and had us sit with Him in heaven 7to show in the coming ages the immeasurable riches of His grace by being kind to us in Christ Jesus.” Jesus tells us in Revelation 3, 21“Be victorious, and I will have you sit with Me on My throne, as I have won the victory and have sat down with My Father on His throne.” How wonderful is the name of the LORD in all the earth who has done and promised to do these great things to and for us. Heavenly Father, all glory, honor, thanks and praise belong to you and your Son Jesus Christ for making us and giving us such an exalted status with you. Continually give us faith in Christ Jesus so we may obtain this fate at his revelation. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Read the full article

Immortals!Nebula meets 8bird!Nebula (again)

Sorry I haven't uploaded anything in like the entire month I've been on some brainrot and couldn't bring myself to draw anything for whatever reason (not sad just lazy lmao). Anyway at least, I drew my mascot, Nebula (both versions funny enough) for once (I need to draw him and a whole bunch of other characters a little more). Oh and yes, there is more than ONE version of Nebula (8bird!Nebula, the one on the right, is the original one, Immortals!Nebula, the one on the left, is the definitive one)

1. What is your favourite book?

I recently read The Catcher in the Rye and I loved it, but I thing my favourite one in the moment is Paper Towns by John Green, I felt understood reading how Margo felt. And Into the wild is always going to be one of my favourites, it's just wonderful!

2. Which type of chocolate do you prefer? Dark, milk or white?

Dark, for sure!

3. What/Who made you smile today?

My dogs getting excited for seeing me when I woke up, I love them.

4. Would you wear one of those horse masks and go out with it in public for £50?

Yes, that would be hilarious!

Harry Potter!!!

I never tasted broccoli but I'm curious to know how it tastes like.

Well, I never had a first kiss or love so I don't even know how to respond to this. But I had crushes mainly on musicians and actors, basically it's just me fangirling over someone. Ahahah, how embarrassing is this, I'm going to a corner crying over how lame I am. :-)

10. What is one smell you really hate?

Hmm, I really don't like the smell of sewage, I think no one likes it, am I right??

What is the weirdest dream you can remember? -Um there was this dream I had where basically my school was actually Atlantis and one day this little fish was lost so me and my crush had to go and help him find his family. 2. Have you ever lost something valuable? (valuable isn’t the same as expensive) -Well I've lost friendships but yeah, I can't think of anything materialistic sorry haha 3. What would you like to do right now? -Right now I would like to finish this thing I'm writing which I have a week left to complete omg 4.
