Omg why the fuck do I note every fucking person who isn't white like my brain is immideatly like "they're different" and it is so fucking annoying I don't know whether I should learn to do that for everyone or learn to not do it at all and I feel so rude for doing it but is it really that wrong because isn't it natural for people to notice what is different but still it feels like I'm painting them in my mind as an outsider and then my stupid "I'm unique" complex hits and I feel more comfortable around them because I see them as different from everybody else just like I think I myself am and I fucking hate myself this is going in the drafts. I don't like not being able to tell if I'm being racist or not, like I don't think I am but also I'm pretty sure I didn't think I was being racist when I was calling people racial slurs in my head so I don't trust myself to make any judgment on that anymore and that's also because I always think I'm right so my opinion can't be racist but then I'm proven wrong that my opinion is kinda shit and fucking shit I hate this. I hate myself. Don't take this as me doing that whats it called pity thing because omg I hate my mind and everything about my brain...yeah I feel like this is why I need a friend, so I can get a second opinion on things, because no matter how objectively I think about things, I most often do not change my opinions or thinking without someone else directly making my opinions look like shit. That's also why I don't like Johnny Depp anymore, someone told me that he isn't a great person, I myself could not come to that conclusion. My opinion of Logan Paul is also entirely formed from D'Angelo Wallace. I can not think for myself even if my life depended on it, but I think that I can and that is probably the biggest failure of me. I desperately need to learn to regocnise when something is my opinion, and learn that my opinion isn't objectively the right one, therefore if someone shares their opinion and it's different from mine, my opinion isn't objectively wrong either. I thought Unity(the song) was pretty good when it came out but then my friend at the time said that it was pretty bad, so I started disliking it as well. I struggle to enjoy things when someone has directly said that they don't like it.

Round 3 starts tommorrow!
With that said i need to add here a lil update: i will be out of town on a convention on 14 and 15. This won't affect the poll much, i did my best to make some polls before hand and schedule them on these days + a day before and after, so i can prepare and unwind with no worries. But what it means is that we will have ony one poll a day this weekend, i won't be able to add winners on those days on the poll next day and i might not be able to anwser slughunters during that time. I'm so sorry, i know that it's not the best, especially since we just had a week long break on the poll.
Also update for slug hunters: day 161 slug has been found by bonniesband! Congrats again 🎉

FMA 03 writers
i had an autism moment and decided to look into the writers of FMA 03 and am now going to vomit out my findings here (nothing very in-depth but it's interesting to see which niches they fall into)
Sho Aikawa: 1-3, 7-8, 13-16, 21-22, 25, 29-31, 32 (w Yamatoya), 36, 39-51, Shamballa.
He wrote the first three episodes, the Nina/Barry the Chopper double whammy, the Marcoh/Scar arc, the latter half of Lab 5, Hughes' death, a decent chunk of the Wrath arc, the Elrics learning Scar's backstory, and then everything from about when the Liore arc begins.
Clearly as head writer he takes charge of the most significant turning points in the series - interestingly, aside from E35, E37, and E38 ("Reunion of the Fallen", "The Flame Alchemist, The Bachelor Lieutenant & The Mystery of Warehouse 13", and "With the River's Flow" by Inoue, Takahashi, and Yamatoya respectively), Aikawa is the only writer to write anything after the series fully diverges from the manga (which I would place at Ed killing Greed in E34). Wikipedia tells me has a reputation for working on adaptations that diverge significantly from the source material, as opposed to original works.
Other writing credits include head writer for Martian Successor Nadesico, Kamen Rider Decade, and the second half of Kamen Raider Blade. At 29.5/51 episodes (he co-wrote a single episode) he was responsible for 57.8% of the series.
Natsuko Takahashi: 6, 11, 17, 23, 26, 37.
She wrote the first Nina episode, The Other Elric Brothers 1, the Elrics recuperating in Resembool, the Elrics recovering post Lab 5, the Paininya episode, and Warehouse 13.
Her forte here is almost entirely slow, character-focused stories without danger or high stakes, with a tendency to emphasise cooling down from big dramatic moments and exploring the implications of these events for the characters.
Other credits include Tokyo Mew Mew, Chrno Crusade, Bleach, and Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo. At 6/51 episodes she wrote 11.8% of the series.
Akatsuki Yamatoya: 28, 32 (w Aikawa), 33-34, 38.
He wrote the Yock Island training episode, Greed arc, and the episode where Ed and Al get into an argument and meet by the river (while Winry and Sheska investigate conspiracies).
Interestingly he is the only writer aside from Aikawa involved in writing actual ongoing arcs after the anime begins to diverge significantly from the manga (I would consider this the introduction of Wrath in E29); the only other contributions past this point are Warehouse 13 (E37) by Takahashi, which a joke episode, and Inoue's Lust and Lujon episode (35), which is valuable characterisation wise but technically standalone. Essentially Yamatoya writes solely for the transition point where FMA 03 is moving from following the manga's blueprint (with significant elaborations, albeit) to its own path.
Other writing credits include Soul Eater, Ghost Stories, Naruto, Detective Conan. At 4.5/51 episodes he wrote 8.8% of the series.
Toshiki Inoue: 4, 10, 24, 35
He wrote Majhal, Psiren, Al defending the Ishbalans against Barry the Chopper with Scar, and Lust and Lujon.
His episodes are largely anime-original and standalone, without significantly shaping the course of the series, but arguably contain valuable characterisation. The Al episode is something of an exception here as it is tied into an ongoing arc (Al's existential crisis) which is also based off manga material, but the episode itself is not a direct adaptation of anything from the manga. Majhal and Psiren are arguably the only genuine cases of pure 'filler' in 03.
Other credits include main writer of Don Brothers and the Death Note anime. At 4/51 episodes he wrote 7.8% of the series.
Katsuhiko Takayama: 9, 19-20, 27.
He wrote the Yousewell episode, first two episodes of Lab 5 arc, and the one where Izumi catches the Elrics.
His work seems fairly solid but nothing very innovative: he adapts manga material well but it's hard to see any strong theme here I think. Notably his Lab 5 episodes mainly cover manga events; the Lab 5 arc does end up significantly diverging from the manga with elements like Scar, Greed, Kimblee, and the Homunculi trying to convince Ed to make the Stone, but not in his episodes.
Other credits include Star Ocean EX, Mirai Nikki, Magia Record S2. At 4/51 episodes he wrote 7.8% of the series.
Manabu Ishikawa: 12, 18.
He wrote The Other Elric Brothers Part 2 and Marcoh's Notes.
Not much to say here - an adaptation of a light novel and a manga chapter.
Other credits include production assistant on Neon Genesis Evangelion, and writing for the Arc the Lad anime and Kimi no koe o todoketai. At 2/51 episodes he wrote 3.9% of the series.
Aya Yoshinaga: 5.
Wrote only the train episode so hard to draw any strong conclusions.
Other credits include Golden Kamui, Natsume's Book of Friends, and Durara!! At 1/51 episodes they (unsure of their gender) wrote 1.9% of the series.
as a special bonus I have made a pie chart bc I like pie charts

THE MYSTICAL NUMBER 33
Today KIN 33 7Skywalker marks the 33rd day of the sacred Tzolkin Matrix, giving us an opportunity to explore the multi-dimensional significance of this number across the fabric of Time and Space.
In classic numerology, the enigmatic Number 33 is referred to as the “Master Teacher” and it is associated with the Spiritual Evolution of humankind. The other two Master numbers are 11, which is related to “Vision,” and 22 which refers to “Vision with Action”.In numerology, these 3 Master numbers are the only multi-digits numbers that don’t get reduced or simplified. They create what is known as the Triangle of Enlightenment, where 11 and 22 sit at the base of the triangle, and 33 sits at the top (11+22 = 33).
Number 33 also plays a KEY role within the multiple spiritual streams of humanity:
–The Christ tells that he was crucified, resurrected and ascended at the age of 33. In the same way, it is known that King David (origin of the Christ lineage) ruled in Jerusalem for 33 years.
– Number 33 represents the two intersecting triangles of the Merkaba, which is symbolised by the Star of David and it is also referred to as the “Lightbody” (see attached video).
– The numerical equivalent of the word AMEN is also 33 (1+13+5+14 = 33)
– There are 33 deities in the Vedic Religion.
– There are 99 names of God in the Islamic Religion (33+33+33).
33: THE RESONANT CHANNEL OF PROPHECY
The spine is the central "channel" of the Human body and is comprised of 33 vertebrae, matching the sum of the 13 joints and 20 fingers and toes that give us the ability to move.
Kin 33 is a PERFECT holographic container for the summoning power of the 13:20 Natural Time Frequency (13+20=33) as well as the creators of the Dreamspell Count: Jose Kin 11 + Lloydine Kin 22 = Kin 33
Kin 33 Resonant Skywalker is coded with the Key Numbers of the Synchronic Order: Tone 7, Seal 13. The Skywalker (13) represents the Archetype of the Prophet and marks the centre (Resonant Chamber) of the Hand (7) Wavespell that started on KIN 27 1 Hand. 27=3x3x3
Following the 1 Kin = 1 Moon fractal count of 260 moons introduced by José and Lloydine on the "20 Tablets of the Law of Time" (1997), the 1 Wizard year corresponds to the 13-MOON planetary service wavespell of the Hand… Therefore this entire magnetic moon that started last July 26, 2019 is ALSO coded by KIN 27 1 Hand.
Today marks then the EXACT midpoint of the 13-DAY FRACTAL SYNCHRONIZATION portal where each of the 13 daily kin of the Hand Wavespell corresponds to each the 13 moons of the year, giving place to a PERFECT nested synchronization with KIN 27 corresponding to the 14th day of the MOON coded by KIN 27of the YEAR coded by KIN 14.
This 13-day portal started with the Lion’s Gate Portal of 8.8 - KIN 27 is therefore comprised between the 8 to the 21 of August, 2019, matching the 14th and 27th day of this Magnetic Moon (NS1.32.1.14 - KIN 27 to NS1.32.1.27 KIN 39 ).
It is therefore worth noting that the "Lion’s Gate" portal of August 8, 2019 (8.8) KIN 27 started at the time of the year when the Heliacal Rising of the star Sirius (the brightest star in the night sky) is rising before the Sun around Giza Latitude (30 to 33 degrees North).
KIN 33: PRELUDE TO THE ENTRANCE INTO THE 33rd SOLAR ORBIT OF THE HARMONIC CONVERGENCE
Finishing this special synchronization via number 33, we are experiencing 2 celestial events of great significance as Divine Signs in the Heavens of this major alignment taking place through the fabric of Time-Space:
1- VENUS-EARTH EXTERNAL CONJUNCTION:
TODAY, KIN 33 takes place the LAST External Conjunction between Earth and Venus before closing the 5-Pointed Star with the Internal Conjuction of June 3, 2020 (KIN 66 1 Worldbridger). Please note that 66 = 33+33.
2- FULL MOON AT ITS HIGHEST NOCTURNAL POINT:
Tonight August 14 is the perfect opportunity to watch the first Full Moon of the 13-Year and 13-Moon cycles that we just started last 26 July 2019 ~ KIN 14 - Magnetic Wizard. (The exact Full Moon peak is tomorrow 15 August at 12:29 pm UTC)
August 15, 2019 - NS1.32.1.19 - KIN 34 will also mark the completion of 45 Tzolkins of 260 days from the START (Alpha Point) of the New Dispensation of Time (also known as the Dreamspell/Wizard’s count) of July 26, 1987 on Kin 34 (33+1). It is also worth noting that this 1 Wizard year started on July 26 on the 33rd day of the 33rd solar orbit since the 1st day of the 1st Tzolkin Matrix of the Dreamspell count (June 23, 1987 KIN 1). This 33rd solar cycle will end on June 23, 2020.
Then on August 16-17, 2019 we will mark the completion of 32 years from the Harmonic Convergence of August 16-17, 1987 (KIN 55-56), organized by Jose KIN 11 and Lloydine KIN 22 (11+22=33) that closed the Quetzalcoatl Prophecy of the 13 Heavens and 9 Hells. Therefore it will mark also the entrance into the 33rd Solar orbit that will be completed on August
Tumblr media
As mentioned many times in the past, Planet Venus is the orchestrating force behind the narrative of the Quetzalcoatl Prophecy and last KIN 55 (19 December 2018), we arrived to a NEW PROPHETIC FRACTAL MASTER NUMBER MILESTONE from the fulfillment of this prophecy: The completion of 11440 days (44 Tzolkins) since August 16, 1987 (KIN 55), a PERFECT FRACTAL of the 1144 years of the Quetzalcoatl Prophecy of the 13 Heavens and 9 Hells, experienced as 11440 days since the first synchronized meditation on Earth. Please note that 11+44=55
To commemorate this NEW PROPHETIC FRACTAL MASTER MILESTONE, we felt inspired to shift the name of this page from Harmonic Convergence 2013 to Harmonic Convergence 2020 and in this way, invite people from all over the world to start building a new momentum towards the celebration of 33 years of the original Harmonic Convergence in the year 2020 and the completion of a perfect fractal cycle of 7 years since Galactic Synchronization of 2013.
PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES!
MAY PEACE PREVAIL ON EARTH!

fourth round of stats
as usual, any time I give two percentages with a slash between them (e.g., “18.5% / 11.3%”), the first percentage is the mean and the second is the median. these are based on the first 706 polls — it’s been almost 400 polls since I last did stats for the sci-fi polls, oops.
general observations
we’ve had 22 majority-yes results so far (3.1% of the total)), meaning only 6 new majority-yes books out of the last 396 polls. ouch.
Suzanne Collins’s The Hunger Games, at 84.7% yes, is still the highest yes rate on this blog.
the mean yes result for all books is 10.2% (down from 14.1%), and the median yes result is only 4.8% (down from 7.8%).
publisher
everything has dropped dramatically: big 5 imprints are at 11.9% / 6.5% (down from 16.5% / 10.0%) and other publishers are at 5.1% / 2.1% (down from 9.2% / 3.1%).
age demographic
we’ve still had basically no children’s books. the yes rates by age are in a similar distribution to the fantasy blog, but lower:
adult books: 9.6% / 4.4% (based on 594 polls)
children’s books: 16.0% / 8.8% (based on 82 polls)
teen/YA books: 12.5% / 7.6% (based on only 30 polls)
publication date
these are still a bit randomly distributed, but all have dropped (the medians rather precipitously). the ’70s are still weirdly low for some reason.
1810s: 1 book
1860s: 3 books
1880s: 2 books
1890s: 3 books
1900s: 2 books
1910s: 1 book
1920s: 2 books
1930s: 7 books
1940s: 7 books
1950s: 23 books (average 11.7% / 5.1%)
1960s: 38 books (average 14.3% / 8.3%)
1970s: 59 books (average 7.2% / 2.4%)
1980s: 68 books (average 12.4% / 8.2%)
1990s: 101 books (average 8.5% / 4.7%)
2000s: 83 books (average 9.6% / 4.1%)
2010s: 197 books (average 9.9% / 4.9%)
2020s: 109 books (average 8.6% / 3.8%)
for reference, the average publication date for submissions to this blog is between 1997 and 1998.
race
white authors still have a higher average yes than authors of color, but the gap between means has narrowed slightly (due to the average for white authors dropping faster than the average for authors of color; both averages have fallen); the gap between medians has widened slightly. books by white authors average 10.7% / 4.8% yes, and books by authors of color average 7.6% / 4.4% yes.
gender
books by women have slightly higher average yes rates than books by men. books by nonbinary authors (and authors who are otherwise neither men nor women) have a lower mean but actually a markedly higher median.
women: 11.4% / 4.8%
men: 9.6% / 4.7%
nonbinary/other/none: 8.0% / 6.9%
geography
The Locked Tomb is still skewing the composite for “every continent other than North America and Europe”, but as I expected it’s still dropped below North America and Europe. also, there are now enough books from Oceania and Asia to have their own averages.
North America: 10.5% / 5.3%
Europe: 9.6% (actually 9.62%) / 3.7%
every other continent: 9.6% (actually 9.57%) / 2.1% (note that the median has dropped slightly from the previous round)
Oceania: 18.6% / 2.1% (the mean is obviously skewed by The Locked Tomb)
Asia: 4.8% / 2.6%
language
the average for books originally published in English remains higher (11.0% / 5.6% yes) than the average for books not originally published in English (4.1% / 1.5% yes). also, we’ve had enough French and (just) Spanish books for averages:
French: 7.3% / 1.5%
Spanish: 1.2% / 0.8%
RIP Spanish. next closest to averages are German at 7, Japanese and Swedish at 6 each, and Chinese and Polish at 5 each. there are only a few more non-English books waiting, so please do submit more!

who are these players that have fallen from the sky? why don't i recognize them? who are the ones that seem to be familiar?
have no fear! i will go, team by team, and explain the (sometimes very short) backstories that these players have. some of them seem very unfamiliar, and thats normal. there were like, hundreds of players in blaseball beta. along with a brief explanation, i'll link to their wiki page, so you can find out more! i won't really be relaying individual noncanon lore, but rather their canon history in the game itself. also, i WILL include what the wiki lists as their current modifications and items, but I don't know whether they will keep those into the next era... we shall see! on with the show!

BALTIMORE CRABS
FALLEN: Charlatan Seabright (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Charlatan Seabright was brought into this world after the incineration of the Mills beloved Dominic Marijuana in Season 7. They stayed in the lineup until Season 13, when they were shadowed, and there they stayed up until now. They have the Negative and Spicy modifications, and 8.8 stars in total. Their overall BA is 0.186.
Tumblr media
CHARLESTON SHOE THIEVES
FALLEN: Ankle Halifax (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Ankle Halifax joined the league in Season 12, after the Descension, originally a Georgia's player. They were an active player until Season 15, when they retreated to the Shadows, and stayed there until Season 20. That same season, they were traded to the Tokyo Lift in exchange for Goobie Ballson. In Season 22, they entered the Shadows once more, but decided against staying there, and entered the lineup less than 20 in-game days later. They have Arm Sunglasses of Fortitude and a Fire Eating Helmet, and 16.6 stars in total. Their overall BA is 0.308, and their overall SO/BB is 0.52.
Tumblr media
BRECKENRIDGE JAZZ HANDS
FALLEN: Qais Dogwalker (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Qais Dogwalker has been a member of the league since Season 1, in which they joined as a pitcher on the Miami Dale. And there they stayed! They are one of the few players that went through both the Discipline and Expansion eras without much change. And that's commendable! From what I can tell, they were a fan favorite. It took Reverb weather in Season 17 to move them from the rotation to the lineup, but that's about all the change they've seen in 24 seasons. They have the Friend of Crows modification, and 19.7 stars in total. Their overall BA is 0.207 and their overall SO/BB is 15.03.
Tumblr media
HELLMOUTH SUNBEAMS
FALLEN: Pangolin Ruiz (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Pangolin Ruiz joined the league in Season 15, as a member of the Mexico City Wild Wings' Shadows. They stayed there until Season 23, when they were stolen to the Flowers' shadows. On Day 9 of Season 24, they joined the rotation, and didn't like it very much, so they retreated back to the Shadows a short 10 days later, on Day 19, Season 24. They have 10.8 stars in total, and an SO/BB of 0.16.
Tumblr media
NEW YORK MILLENNIALS
FALLEN: Bennett Bluesky (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Bennett Bluesky joined the ILB on the Charleston Shoe Thieves after the incineration of Sebastian Woodman during Season 14. In that same season's elections, they were traded to the Houston Spies in exchange for Jordan Hildebert. They entered and exited the shadows like it was their full time job, but in the end, spent more time than not actively pitching. They have the Scattered modification, a Slimy Hot Skate Helmet, and 16.3 stars in total. Their overall BA is 0.124, and their overall SO/BB is 7.15.
Tumblr media
CANADA MOIST TALKERS
FALLEN: Eris Street (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Eris Street joined the Hades Tigers' Shadows in Season 9, and they have never seen active play. That just means they have endless potential! They have the Unstable modification, a Smooth Broom, and 10.9 stars in total.
Tumblr media
MIAMI DALE
FALLEN: Edric Tosser (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: A player since Season 1, Edric Tosser is a player with a long history, and is known league-wide for the famous, "Thomas Dracaena hit a ground out to Edric Tosser". At least, I hope so. God, that was Season 4 wasn't it? You guys still remember that, right? Anyway. They are a player with a lot of history, but they were on the Firefighters until Season 12, when they were Feedbacked to the Jazz hands. They have the Alternate modification, a Bat, and 13.4 stars in total. Their overall BA is 0.238, and their overall SO/BB is 1.18.
Tumblr media
MEXICO CITY WILD WINGS
FALLEN: Engine Eberhardt (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Engine Eberhardt joined the league as a lineup player when the Tokyo Lift replaced the Baltimore Crabs after their ascension. Much of their history is taken up by the Tokyo Lift and Dallas Steaks trading them back and forth four times in so many seasons. Pretty funny! Bet they got some lore out of that, haha. They have a Plant-Based Skate Helmet and 23.3 stars in total. Their overall BA is 0.281.
Tumblr media
SEATTLE GARAGES
FALLEN: Henry Marshallow (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Henry Marshallow joined the league as a pitcher on The Garages in Season 3, after the incineration of Derrik Krueger. After that, in Season 9 they were feedbacked to the Philly Pies in exchange for Jaylen Hotdogfingers, and they stayed there for the rest of both eras. They were shadowed briefly in Season 19, and shadowed again in Season 22, where they stayed until now. As they were once a Garages player, they actually have a song written about them! Neat. It's a really funny song actually. They have the Unstable and Maximalist modifications, a Holey Skate Necklace of Fourtitude, and 13.6 stars in total. Their overall SO/BB is 14.
Tumblr media
ATLANTIS GEORGIAS
FALLEN: Juan Murphy (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Juan Murphy is a player who has never seen active play; their wiki page does not even have the Season they were born in? All it has is that they were on the Yellowstone Magic's Shadows rotation. But their pre-game ritual is fist-fighting the sea, so I'm sure any Georgia's fans out there will get some fun out of that! They have the Alternate and Scattered modifications, a Trader Shoes of Charisma, and 8.9 stars in total.
Tumblr media
HADES TIGERS
FALLEN: Elip Dean (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Elip Dean is another player who has never seen active play! They were a Tigers member even before the Fall. What loyalty! They have the Unstable modification, a Broom, and 9.4 stars in total.
Tumblr media
YELLOWSTONE MAGIC
FALLEN: Inky Rutledge (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Another player that has been in the game since Season 1, Inky Rutledge is a very storied pitcher. They pitched both the first and second no-hitter in Blaseball history, earning the 2-blood blagonball. Do we have any idea what Blagonballs are? No? Okay. They were a Magic player for most of the career, only leaving the team when they were Feedbacked to the Shoe Thieves in exchange for Jaylen Hotdogfingers. Shortly after, they were traded to the Lift, until they went back to the Shoe Thieves for the rest of the era. They have the Scattered modification, a Careful Bat of Strength, and 16.9 stars in total. Their overall SO/BB is 1.93.
Tumblr media
BOSTON FLOWERS
FALLEN: Randy Dennis (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Randy Dennis joined the Miami Dale during Season 2, after the incineration of Jenna Maldonado. They stayed on the Dale until Season 18 elections, when they were traded to the Moist Talkers in exchange for Richmond Harrison. Four seasons later, they were traded again to the Georgias in exchange for Slosh Truk. They had the Siphon, Slow Build, and Flippers modifications, a Holey Ambitious Socks +1, and 13.3 stars in total. Their overall BA is 0.255.
Tumblr media
CORE MECHANICS
FALLEN: Djuna Scoresburg (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Djuna Scoresburg is another player that hasn't seen any active play, but they still have a bit of history on account of being traded from the Lovers to the Garages in the Season 22 elections. Other than that, another player full of potential! They have the Unstable modification and 12.2 stars in total.
Tumblr media
SAN FRANCISCO LOVERS
FALLEN: Alvie Kesh (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Another player that hasn't seen active play! Alvie Kesh was brought into being late in Season 23 in the Sunbeams' Shadows. What a stressful existence, only knowing the chaos of Season 24... They have the Scattered modification and 6.9 stars in total.
Tumblr media
CHICAGO FIREFIGHTERS
FALLEN: Frankie Incarnate (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Frankie Incarnate joined the league as a batter for the Steaks in Season 17, after the incineration of Allison Abbott. In Season 24, while all the Season 24 Stuff was Going On, they were one of the players that were redacted by Niq Nyong'o. They emerged from the Georgias Secret Base shortly after and managed to score a run, joining their shadows. They have the Attractor and Seeker modifications, a Passionate Head Helmet, and 16.6 stars in total. Their overall BA is 0.241.
Tumblr media
HAWAI'I FRIDAYS
FALLEN: Mags Highlife (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Ah, another player that hasn't seen active play. This is actually exciting, honestly. It's gonna be fun to watch all these new players! Mags Highlife was made conscious in the Jazz Hands' shadows in Season 23, and the following Season, the Tacos decided to steal them for their own Shadows. They have the Scattered modification and 9.3 stars in total.
Tumblr media
KANSAS CITY BREATH MINTS
FALLEN: Hops Chen (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Ah, Hops. They also have not seen active play. But they are an original Breath Mint! They were born in the Shadows in Season 16, and the Tacos stole them during the Season 23 elections. Unfortunately, I do not think Hops will Fix The Mints' Offence. </3. They have the Scattered modification and 7.3 stars in total.
Tumblr media
TOKYO LIFT
FALLEN: Silvia Rugrat (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Silvia Rugrat is a true OG Wild Wings player, having been in their pitching rotation since Season 1. Nothing has really happened to them since. It really is commendable! The most that happened was when they entered and exited the Shadows twice in Season 23. They have the Siphon modification, a Parasitic Socks of the Feast, and 17.1 stars in total. Their SO/BB is 14.92.
Tumblr media
HOUSTON SPIES
FALLEN: Wyatt Mason IV (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Wyatt Mason IV, also known widely as simply "Ivy", is a VERY storied player with a lot of backstory within the canon of the game. I really recommend diving into their wiki page and reading about them there; I can't really sum them up here! They have the Alternate, Echo, Honey Roasted, Negative, Skipping, and Triple Threat modifications, a Bat and a Squiddish Ring, and 13 stars in total. Their overall BA is 0.138 and their overall SO/BB is 6.42.
Tumblr media
UNLIMITED TACOS
FALLEN: Allan Kranch (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Allan Kranch joined the Flowers' lineup in Season 17 after the incineration of Hiroto Cerna. Shortly after, in the Season 18 elections, they were traded to the Mechanics in exchange for Jaylen Hotdogfingers. They entered and exited the shadows a couple times after that, seeing more time out of active play than not. They have the Negative and Scattered modifications, a Metaphorical Ring of Charisma, and 13.1 stars in total. Their overall BA is 0.187 and their overall SO/BB is 1.15.
Tumblr media
OHIO WORMS
FALLEN: NaN (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Like Wyatt Mason IV, NaN is a very important figure in Blaseball lore and has a very storied history. This is another instance where I cannot properly sum them up in a paragraph, and heartily recommend giving their wiki page a readthrough! They have the Cluttered, Echo, Flickering, Unstable, On an Oddessey, and Roamin' modifications, a Smokey Concrete Phone, and 8.3 stars in total. Their overal BA is 0.170 and their overall SO/BB is 0.95.
Tumblr media
PHILADELPHIA PIES
FALLEN: Steals Chark (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Steals Chark joined the league in the Georgias Shadows when they Descended, and they stayed there for a while! It took them until Season 23 to exit the Shadows, and they decided to spend the whole season going back and forth. But they ended the season on the rotation, and stayed there until the end of Season 24. They have the Alternate and Negative modifications, a Jersey, and 9.1 stars in total. Their overall SO/BB is 0.67.
Tumblr media
DALLAS STEAKS
FALLEN: Archie Lampman (wiki / blaseball reference)
HISTORY: Yes, Archie Lampman is another player that hasn't seen any active play, BUT! They are very interesting, because they are actually a player that debuted in Blaseball Pre-History! They were a member of the Mallorca Whales before the whole team got incinerated. In Season 21, they briefly haunted Kennedy Loser, and therefore has seen a single inning of active play. In Season 22, they joined the Tigers' shadows after the incineration of Yong Wright. They have the Unstable modification and 11.3 stars in total. On account of the fact that they struck out in the single inning they played, they have a tragic BA of 0.00.
And that is everyone! If I messed anything up please feel free to correct me! Writing about 24 players that I am not an expert on, most of it in the middle of the night, certainly leaves much room for error. I hope to do this next week, with the next Fall, so stay tuned for that! And I hope this was helpful!

Okay so in 7x08 Hondo finds out from Nichelle (who was told by Annie lol) that Deac is retiring and there are a couple of scenes with the photo of OG team and Hondo's being all "Street just left, Luca retired, I can't lose Deac too" and this genuinely seems perminent.
Looking through the lens of final season I thought hum, whatever, okay, who cares, it's ending anyways. But now that obviously isn't true and I just cannot wrap my mind around the fact that writers have dug themselves a pretty weird hole. I guess it could've been worse and someone could've been killed off but still, all the heartfell goodbyes now make no sense if they are just going to reverse it and bring those characters back (which I will forgive them in that case because I don't care, I just want my men back) or, in my very biased opinion, if they don't bring them back you have... two main characters and a bunch of new kids which is literally now just a new show. And unfortunately, they didn't do their new characters justice at development either. I love them, but their stories just feel empty and fall flat in comparison to the OG team we knew.
I'm seriously curious how they managed to get yet another season when all the perception I saw about this season has been negative 🤷🏿‍♀️ And digging themselves out of this hole will be so hard for them, especially if they don't bring some/all the OGs for at least third or half of a season. They have 22 episodes so for their sake I hope they do the smart decision but looking at this dumpsterfire of a season, I'm not really holding my breath.
(Sorry for the lengthy message, I just had to vent a little)
~🧡
Annie Kay, mind your own business.😭
Don't apologize for the lengthy message! Thank you for sharing!
I actually watched a YouTube clip of the scene where Deacon says, "I wanted to be the one to tell you" but I didn't know Annie told Nichelle! One thing I did appreciate about that scene is the Hondo seemed genuinely upset that 20-David was breaking apart and wasn't the squad he had grown to love and trust anymore. That said, thank you for putting it in context and sharing all these great thoughts with me!!
I agree that the writers have put themselves and the characters in a very strange position going into season 8! Part of what makes it so weird to me is that from the very beginning of this season (even the announcement that the cancellation had been revoked), the writers claimed that everything would be tied together and ended nicely. And then with the s8 news, they've now added "but it also sets up another season." Because, like, you can't do both at the same time in my opinion. You can end it, or you can keep opportunities open for the next season. As you said, they've taken away those opportunities by ending story lines and eliminating character roles from the team and the show.
Your opinion on the flat characters and how the original cast was written out doesn't sound biased to me! It really does feel like a new show with every cast replacement they do, and unless they bring back the fan favorites who were there from day 1, I honestly don't see the point in watching or keeping the show on. You're 100% correct in saying it's a new show now, and it's not as good as it was.
"Looking at this dumpsterfire of a season" made me laugh!🤣 I was actually just talking to someone about how it got renewed. CBS claims that it's still one of their most-watched shows and averages 8.8 million or something viewers per episode (plus all the Netflix streams). HOWEVER, a bunch of people watching it doesn't mean it is good or needs to stay on! If they read any of the reviews or feedback, they'd know this! They're looking at numbers and not feedback, I think, which is the only reason they decided to keep it on. Personally, I'll be very surprised if s8 has many viewers as it airs.
Again, I wholly agree that the hole that they dug themselves into is a tricky one. If they continue without Luca, Street, and Deacon, they're going to lose a good number of viewers, but if they bring them back they run a risk of just making s7 pointless. In which case, people may assume s8 will be just as futile and inconsequential as s7. In the end, either way, they kinda screwed themselves. It seems like a lose/lose situation, and after a season of bad reviews and people begging for their favorite characters back, the future of S.W.A.T. seems pretty dismal.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and if there's any other spoilers or anything you want to discuss or share with me, I'd love that! (I've heard that the whole Luca getting shot story line was poorly done, so if you have an opinion on that, I'm all ears👀)

This is the state of play in the US and what the Tawdry Party are working for in the UK. "The American wealth inequality crisis is fundamentally changing the country's political system and American culture. In 2022 there are 735 American billionaires; they constitute over a quarter of the world's billionaires. There are also nearly 22 million millionaires in the U.S. making up 8.8% of the country's adult population. Meanwhile, the median net worth of the American population is $121,700, and 12.5 percent of families have children facing food insecurity, literally whether they will have enough to eat on a given day. This wealth inequality has largely been engineered by the notably corrupt American Congress who, as a result of the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision, were easily bribed to create a tax system in which billionaires can pay less in taxes than a $14-18 an hour janitor." ~ Stephan Schwartz  [h/t Ian Sanders]

Six NHS staff workers are typically reported every week in England for sexually harassing a patient or colleague, the Telegraph can reveal.
Nearly a fifth of English trusts have recorded a rise in reports of sexual harassment within their services since 2017, while millions have been spent by the NHS on legal claims specific to sexual abuse over the same time period, according to newly-obtained data.
Health secretary Steve Barclay described the findings as “worrying” and urged NHS leaders to take “robust action in response to any such incidents in their organisation”.
Patient Safety Learning, a charity dedicated to improving patient experiences, said the Telegraph's “deeply troubling” revelations demonstrated an abuse of the “significant power imbalance” that exists between vulnerable patients and their care providers.
“Healthcare professionals need to recognise the power they hold over patients,” said chief executive Helen Hughes.
As the NHS reckons with its own ‘Me Too’ movement, the Telegraph can reveal that 16,082 reports of sexual harassment have been made against doctors and nurses, patients, and ancillary staff over the past five years – equivalent to 8.8 a day.
The data, acquired via the Freedom of Information law, is specific to 98 out of 184 trusts in England, and is therefore likely to underestimate the scale of sexual harassment reported within the NHS.
Position of trust ‘betrayed’
Further analysis of the data shows that at least 807 staff members have been accused of sexually harassing a colleague or patient across the 98 trusts between 2017 and 2022, while 45 have been found guilty.
When extrapolated to all 184 trusts, this suggests an estimated 1,607 NHS workers have been accused of sexual misconduct over the past five years – equivalent to six reports every week.
Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust has one of the highest rates for reports of staff-on-patient sexual misconduct, recording 57 incidents since 2017. It said all reports of inappropriate behaviour are taken “extremely seriously, with the Trust having clear systems in place to ensure all reported incidents are recorded and investigated swiftly”.
As part of its investigation into sexual harassment within the NHS, the Telegraph uncovered the case of a mentally incapacitated patient who was raped by her healthcare worker and subsequently fell pregnant. The incident took place within the past five years at a major trust in the centre of England.
The healthcare worker, who is in his 30s, was recently jailed for eight months after pleading guilty to sexual activity with a mentally-disordered female. The patient and case cannot be named for legal reasons.
Joe Matchett, an expert lawyer at Irwin Mitchell who has secured settlements for survivors of abuse, said his firm continues to “represent a number of patients subjected to terrible abuse at the hands of hospital staff who have betrayed their position of trust in the worst imaginable way”.
Amid national efforts to clamp down on sexual misconduct within the health sector, the figures obtained by the Telegraph suggest that a rising number of people who work for or use the NHS are coming forward to report experiences of harassment within its services.
Of the 98 trusts who responded to our FOI requests, 39 provided a year-by-year breakdown for their data. Twenty-nine recorded an increase in reports since 2017, while five reported a decrease. The number of reports made annually at the remaining five trusts remained constant over the past five years.
Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, which has recorded a 65 per cent rise in reports of sexual harassment, increasing from 81 in 2017/18 to 131 in 2021/22, said it had a “high level of reporting”, which “indicates a healthy safety culture”.
A spokesperson added: “The figures reported include patient-on-patient; family-on-patient and patient-on-staff sexual misconduct, and many include repeated incidents involving one or two people.
“These could range in type from inappropriate comments, kissing, touching or indecent exposure.”
Although there is an acknowledgement that progress is being made in encouraging survivors of sexual misconduct and abuse to come forward in reporting their experiences, senior health leaders admit more needs to be done to purge the NHS of such behaviour.
The British Medical Association and Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) have both publicly acknowledged their shortcomings in tackling sexual misconduct and misogyny within their organisations.
In a statement released earlier this year, the president of the RCS said: “We have been aware that there needs to be a cultural change in surgery for some time …”
A senior NHS official meanwhile told the Telegraph “there’s more to do both to help people raise complaints and stop abuse in the first place.”
The source added: “The NHS staff survey suggests that sexual misconduct has persisted at a consistent rate in the last five years. The feedback we are getting, more concerns are being raised in male-dominated working environments.
“There do appear to be some particular problems in parts of the workforce, such as surgery and ambulance services, but in general it is something employers take seriously.”
Questions over misconduct procedures
While the NHS’ national staff survey does not specify sexual misconduct, it does ask whether workers have experienced harassment, bullying or abuse at work from a colleague, patient or manager. In 2021, 17.83 per cent of the workforce answered ‘yes’ – up marginally from 17.73 per cent in 2017.
“Inappropriate behaviours undermine trust in healthcare system and the ability to deliver safe care,” said Ms Hughes.
“Clinicians, managers and healthcare leaders have both a professional and moral responsibility to patients to ensure that there is a safe culture in healthcare settings and that misconduct is not tolerated.”
The data collected by the Telegraph also raises questions about the manner in which trusts handle complaints of sexual misconduct.
Information on investigative and disciplinary action was provided for just 1,973 out of the 16,082 reports of sexual misconduct.
Many trusts did not provide the data requested as they said it would breach General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Others said they couldn’t provide the information as it was not recorded in the trust’s incident reporting system, while some said the data was not easily accessible and that obtaining it would require reviewing each recorded incident.
Figures also show that, since 2017, the NHS has spent £4.47 million on legal costs specific to sexual abuse lawsuits filed by healthcare workers or patients.
Expenditure rose from £806,408 in 2017/18 to £1.1 million in 2019/20, but subsequently dropped to £673,777 in the following financial year.
Em Wilkinson-Brice, national director for people, NHS England, said: “The NHS must be a safe space for all staff and patients – we do not tolerate any form of sexual misconduct, violence, harassment or abuse in any workplace setting and are clear that all NHS Trusts and organisations must have robust measures in place to ensure immediate action is taken in any cases reported to them.
“I would strongly encourage anyone who has experienced any misconduct in the NHS to come forward and report it and seek support.”
