It starts off small. So small, in fact, that Kiyoomi convinces himself that he’s imagining things.

The first thing he notices is small. A mute blue hoodie instead of your usual bright yellow one. If he were anyone else, he wouldn’t have even noticed it. He thought it was odd at the moment, but assumed you just hadn’t done laundry.

The next thing he notices is that you’ve been gradually replacing your loud jewelry— different shaped beads of all shapes and colors— with simple, silver jewelry. He wants to comment on it, but he assumes you’re just trying out new things. You’ve always liked to do that, right?

When you start straightening your hair more often and wearing it in slick-backs, he’s confused. You’re basically a shell of your past self by now. Fun, loud colors turned to dark, muted colors. If he was paying closer attention, he would compare it to his own closet and see the similarity. Jewelry that clinks against each other with each step, is now a simple chain with a heart pendant. Your beautiful curly hair— now straight, hanging down your back as you do the dishes.

Kiyoomi sits at the dining room table, eyes narrowed as he pieces all of this change together. His chin is in his hand, his elbow on the table, one finger framing his face. He wants to say something— badly. But if he does? Who knows what will happen. Maybe you’re just growing. That’s a thing people do, right? People change over the years. Kiyoomi knows he sure as hell has.

“You straightened your hair,” he finally says, breaking the silence. He watches as you stop scrubbing the dish you're holding. “And you stopped wearing your jewelry.”

You hesitate to answer, he can see that. Your body twitches as if it’s going to turn around, but you don’t. You continue scrubbing at the dish. “I, um, got overstimulated. Couldn’t deal with the curls and the, uh, loud beads.”

Kiyoomi hums, because he knows you’re lying. There’s a shake to your voice that he can’t quite place.

“Do you not like it?” Your voice is quiet. Tentative. Timid. Something he’s never heard from you before.

He stands from the table and walks over to you, standing directly behind you. “I love you in all shapes and forms,” he says. “But you straightened your hair yesterday. And the day before that. And you put your jewelry in a box in the closet.” You turn to look at him, eyes widened a fraction. “Yeah, I saw it.” He frowns. “What’s going on? Why are you… changing yourself?”

You press your lips together and avoid his eyes. He takes your chin in his hand, making you look at him. His heart skips at the sight of tears on your waterline. “What’s wrong, Y/n?”

“I… I was just…” you can’t even get your sentence out. “You’re so clean. You and your family are… You’re nice and proper and rich and I am not. I am loud and obnoxious and I dress like an elementary school teacher and my hair is loud and big and I do not fit in with you.”

Kiyoomi is stunned. The words tumble out of your mouth, tears fall down your cheeks and Kiyoomi can’t move. His lips part in a desperate attempt to speak, but nothing comes out.

Kiyoomi has never been one for physical affection. Growing up, his parents never hugged him. His sister was much older, so she wasn’t around to fulfill that either. But in this moment, as the tears don’t stop and you’re practically choking on your own breath, Kiyoomi presses your face into his chest and wraps his arms around you.

“You are perfect just the way you are,” Kiyoomi mumbles into your hair. “I love your big, curly hair and I love the way you dress and I love you. You don’t need to change who you are just because you think you don’t fit in. You do fit in with me. And who gives a fuck what my parents think, hm? They don’t even know you, Y/n, but if they did, they would love you too. It’s not how you dress, or how you act, it’s you. I love you.”

Slowly but surely, your breathing steadies. You’re no longer choking on your own breath, no longer shaking. You keep your face pressed into his chest.

You pull away eventually and stare up at him with big, wet eyes. “I love you too.”

He presses another kiss into your hair and smiles down at you. “Good. Now, what do you want for dinner? I’ll make it tonight, okay?”

- the time when his model type was added to Roblox left quite an impact on him. Why were people so mean?

- he forgot to change his scale before time traveling, so now he towers over most people they encounter. Now he's noticed even more and bumps his head on doors... Yay...

- He doesn't know a lot about Roblox before 2016. So the meaning of the swords their collecting is a bit lost on him. He can't help but be a bit fearful of them. The previous holders of the Icedagger and Venomshank seemed to be going insane. And his friends seen awfully attached to the swords they have collected. He hopes everything will end fine.

- FEAR is strong in this one

- Sister of baconboy

- She can't handle being alone well. Being alone for a short time causes great feeling of solitude. She's always with atleast one of her friends.

- She's in charge of snack duty, she got the biggest bag after all. Someone low on HP? A burger is ready. Low on SP? the Bloxycola is already in your hand. Low on Tix? That's something she can't fix.

- She the only one of the group who realised they should be in the R6 model when they time traveled. She thought the rest also knew this, apparently not.

- The Icedagger is her FAVORITE weapon. Just focus a bit and heal EVERYONE? yes please! ####, She'd let this thing freeze her for less.

- She's a bit cold to the touch

- Solitude is strong in this one

- Very chaotic person

- They kill every enemy in their wake, be it bird, Mosquito, or zombie. Getting 0 xp does not bring them joy.

- Always has hard mode enable to get more Xp. This has absolutely backfired multiple times.

- They will come up for their friends, every good friend does that! Including when BaconBoy burgers contain pickles.

- Their a fan of the Venomshank. An AOE attack also afflicting poison is. the. best! The pretty flowers coming out of the enemies is a plus too.

Explanation: On the right, dressed in blue, is the Pleiades. Also known as the Seven Sisters and M45, the Pleiades is one of the brightest and most easily visible open clusters on the sky. The Pleiades contains over 3,000 stars, is about 400 light years away, and only 13 light years across. Surrounding the stars is a spectacular blue reflection nebula made of fine dust. A common legend is that one of the brighter stars faded since the cluster was named. On the left, shining in red, is the California Nebula. Named for its shape, the California Nebula is much dimmer and hence harder to see than the Pleiades. Also known as NGC 1499, this mass of red glowing hydrogen gas is about 1,500 light years away. Although about 25 full moons could fit between them, the featured wide angle, deep field image composite has captured them both. A careful inspection of the deep image will also reveal the star forming region IC 348 and the molecular cloud LBN 777 (the Baby Eagle Nebula).

I wanted to try to request a supernatural Castiel x reader either fic or head cannons or anything really with a reader whose the Winchesters sister? This may be to specific but my favorite trope when I was a kid was the fake dating. So maybe the Winchesters are working with a different hunter who's kind of a creep and keeps flirting with reader and he won't back off despite the brothers warnings. So in the end Dean just calls Cas and is like congratulations you're dating my sister, now get him to back off! And so the two of them just start fake dating but after the hunt and the other hunter leaves Cas doesn't stop treating her all sweet and everything? The Winchesters' figured it would be so simple. The hunt was so simple, so why wouldn't drinks afterwards be? Mason, the hunter that was helping you all out and it went smooth, despite your brother's grudge against working with other hunters. Mason offered to take you all out for drinks. That's now where you were.

The first ick was when Mason sat next to you at the bar. You figured he was just trying to be friendly, you had just hunted together after all! But then he ordered you a drink which made you feel weird, but again, he was probably just trying to be nice. So you put on a smile and thank him.

"You really pulled your weight back there Y/N." He said, taking a drink of a beer.

"Oh- uh- thanks?"

"I like that in a woman."

"Excuse me-"

Dean, who was watching closely, was fuming. You tried to explain that you were not looking for a boyfriend currently, but he just wasn't listening. He wasn't leaving you alone. So, when Sam came back with drinks for both he and Dean, Dean looked at him and pointed this out. Sam seemed a bit uncomfortable with this, but suggested to let you handle yourself. You were more than capable and you all knew that.

When nothing had changed five minutes later and you started to look like you wanted to kill Mason, Dean decided to call out the big guns..

"Hello?" The solemn voice of the angel spoke a bit loudly through the phone.

"Yeah, Cas, listen. It's important, get here. We're at a small bar in Minnesota at exactly 777 boulevard Road."

With the sound of a flutter, Castiel was standing in front of Dean. "What's wrong?" Dean pointed behind him. Castiel turned around when Dean put his hands on Castiel's shoulders, getting close to his ear.

"Congratulations feathers, you're dating my sister. Now, see that guy right there? He's being a creep to your lady, go and kick his ass." Castiel, confused, nodded. He stood there a minute before walking in your direction. Sam looked at Dean, who had his arms crossed.

"Yeah, sick 'em boy!" Sam teased Dean, Dean looked at him with a pissy expression.

You were deep in your third beer, biting your tongue as you listened to Mason ramble on about his tastes. You were getting close to losing your temper before you heard a monotone voice behind you, you recognized it. It made you cock a brow,

"Y/N, I'm sorry that I'm late...dear." The nickname confused you, but nonetheless, you sat up straight and smiled at him.

"Cas," Once you acknowledged him, he put his hand around your waist. You looked at him with a more confused expression than you had before you seemingly got the hint. "Oh- that's alright honey. Don't worry about it. Cas, this is Mason. He just helped us with the hunt."

Mason looked at his competition with an annoyed expression. "And you are?"

"Castiel," The angel hummed, "her boyfriend." His eyes were stern, it made Mason squirm a bit. Seemingly a bit insecure because he stood up.

"I have to go. Bye Y/n." He mumbled before sulking out of the bar. You looked at Castiel, getting up.

"God- thank you Cas. You're a lifesaver." Cas's smile seemed a bit shy, which was unusual for the stern angel. He nodded. As you went to your brother's, he followed you, staying rather close.

As Dean and Sam talked to you about Mason, asking if you were okay, Castiel seemed more interested in you. Admiring you.

Whenever you guys decided to leave, Castiel actually got into the backseat with you, sitting directly next to you. He put his hand pretty close to yours, grazing against it. Dean noticed this in the rearview mirror, cocking an eyebrow.

Castiel was standing in front of the motel door, looking at you.

"So.. will I see you tomorrow?" A cheesy smile formed on your face, your cheeks a bit pink.

"Yeah Cas, I would love to.. Goodnight."

Dean groaned as he walked past.

"Cas, you know you're not actually dating Y/N, right?" he asked with a scoff.

Lando smiled when he opened the door to his apartment. Taylor Swift was playing through the halls. Lando put his things down quietly and then started tiptoeing towards the living room where he found you dancing and singing along to the music loudly. He leaned against the doorframe and smiled as he watched you, mesmerized by how comfortable you had become in his house. You looked silly as you jumped and kicked and let yourself be totally free. Lando loved it. It had taken a while to convince you to move in with him. His world was so different from yours. You had certainly been nervous about leaving the tiny and somewhat dingy apartments you’d lived in your whole life. Watching you dance to music like no one would see you made Lando feel so happy. This was your home. When he watched you he knew you felt it the same way he did.

“Hey, baby,” Lando called after he’d relished in the sight of you. You spun around to see him. Your cheeks heated but you quickly bounced across the room towards Lando. You threw your arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss. He was grinning when you pulled away. You didn’t go far though, taking his hands and making him dance with you. The high energy song ended and “Lover” came on. Your song. Lando chuckled lightly at the coincidence.

He moved one hand around you, letting it fall on the small of your back and the other cupped yours. He started swaying the two of you back and forth around your living room. You leaned your head against his shoulder as you danced.

“How was your day?” You asked softly. Lando smiled.

“Not bad. Better now,” he told you.

“How’s the car?” You asked.

“A little better. I’m getting hopeful,” he said. You hummed happily.

“Good, baby,” you smiled. “You deserve a good car. You can win.” Lando smiled. He kissed the crown of your head.

“Thanks, kitten.” Lando released your waist and spun you out of his arms, dipping you when he pulled you back in. His arms slid back around you and he kept swaying the two of you back and forth. He bumped his nose against yours. “What did you do today?” He asked.

“I got off work early and went grocery shopping. I’m making your favorite,” you said. Lando smiled. He leaned down to kiss you before you could keep going. His lips were warm against yours. He pulled away after a lingering moment but couldn’t help but lean back in for a few more sweet pecks.

“Go on. Didn’t mean to interrupt you,” Lando said. You were completely flustered and let out a giggle like a schoolgirl. Lando grinned at the sound. When your laugh subsided and you met Lando’s gaze again his eyes were soaked with adoration. You smiled back.

“I picked up dessert at the place down the street and I thought we could watch this new show Lily told me about,” you said. Lando nodded.

“That sounds great, love,” he agreed. He gave you another kiss as the song ended. You let go of him, but Lando pulled you into a hug. He hummed in satisfaction at the feeling of you in his arms. There was nothing that was more satisfying and comforting to him than having you in his arms. His job kept him from you more often than he wanted. When he got moments like this with you he treasured them.

“Can you come to Australia with me?” He asked. “I know it’s a long way, but I need you.” You smiled. He’d had a tougher time in Jeddah without you there. He usually managed to hold it together without you, but Jeddah had been hard. It wasn’t his favorite track and without you there he was on edge the whole week.

“I’ll come,” you promised. “I want to meet Oscar’s family anyway.” Lando smiled.

“You think we can get his sisters to tell us embarrassing stories?” Lando asked.

“That’s what I mean when I say I want to meet his family,” you said. Lando smiled.

“You were quite good at that the first time you met my sisters,” he commented.

“Well, I had to have something to blackmail you with when you’re teasing me,” you said.

“You still don’t know what Max and I did in London when we were 17,” Lando said, reminding you of the story that you knew existed but had never heard. According to Max and Lando you never would. You smirked at Lando.

“I’ll get Max drunk enough to tell me one of these days.”

Walpurgis Night. Hexennacht. April 30.

A Short History of the Night of the Witches The origins of the image of Walpurgis night being a witches’ sabbath are unclear. However, it is striking that it coincides with Beltane and maybe other pagan festivals in earlier time. Goethe presumed in one of his poems such an origin.

St. Walpurga For Christians, Walpurgisnacht is also known as the Feast of Saint Walpurga, that is celebrated from the evening of April 30 to the day of May 1st. Saint Walpurga or Walburga was the daughter of St. Richard the Saxon Pilgrim and sister of St. Willibald and St. Winibald. When her father went on a pilgrimage with her two brothers to the Holy Land, he left Walpurga, who was only 11 years old at the time, with the nuns of Wimborne Abbey, where she was educated and learnt how to write.

She traveled in an attempt to bring German pagans to the Christian faith and she also authored Winibald’s biography, which is why she is considered as one of the first female authors in Germany and England. Walpurga became a nun in Heidenheim am Hahnenkamm, the monastery founded by her brother Willibald, where she became the abbess after his death in 751. Walpurga herself died on February 25 on 777 or 779 and she was canonized by Pope Adrian II on May 1st, around 870, when her relics were transfered to Eichstätt, Germany.

St. Walpurga is prayed to for protection against witchcraft and it is believed that during the night of April 30, she is able to ward off spells, witches, and evil spirits. This belief may stem from the overlapping of her canonization with Hexennacht or the Night of the Witches, the celebration that has its origin in ancient fertility celebrations. Hexennacht is a Germanic tradition more prevalent in the 17th century, when witches and sorcerers gathered together celebrate.

To protect against their magic, the Western Christian Church appointed the night of April 30 to St. Walpurga’s Feast. In the 18th and 19th centuries, Walpurgisnacht was popularized and its witchy connotations were revived through the literature of the time, such as in Jacob Grimm’s work who wrote in 1833: “There is a mountain very high and bare… whereon it is given out that witches hold their dance on Walpurgis night”.

Goethe also dedicated a poem to the celebration called “Die erste Walpurgisnacht” (The First Walpurgis Night), which was set to music by Felix Mendelssohn and published as his Opus 60 in 1843. The poem contrasts sharply with the Walpurgisnacht described in his main work “Faust”. In his ballad, Goethe relates the superstitions around Walpurgis night to the usage of devil’s masks by pagan’s in order to exploit the superstitions of their Christian suppressors and to protect their identities.

While Idris moved to defuse Sebastian and Solomon's budding argument, Percival had tuned the two out completely. His vision tunneled. The only thing he could hear was Anne. There was a roaring in his ears and his very bones wanted to shiver from the cold. The lanterns seemed to dim and the world fell away. There was nothing left. He was back in those woods as the shadows killed his sister and ripped his parents apart.

But there was something else. The hook in his ribs was pulling him, dragging him. He couldn't control his body as he stumbled forward and pulled out his wand. It was a compulsion he couldn't fight. He put his wand to Anne's chest and felt that click as something fell into place. Something was creeping up his wand, leaving behind invisible white hot trails of pain as it latched onto his arm.

He didn't hear the yelling from Solomon or Sebastian demanding to know what he was doing or the concern coming back to Idris now that they were too confused to be mad at him anymore. He didn't see the lights of the house go out, he didn't feel Anne's racing heart or panicked breathing.

All he knew was he had to pull.

He tried but nothing happened. The pain only got worse and worse until Percival cried out. He couldn't even pull away now, it had completely latched onto him. It was crawling towards his chest and the Ancient Magic within him was rising up to meet it. He didn't know why but he knew he couldn't let it happen. This time he grabbed his wand with two hands and pulled. He stumbled back, and with him was a red and black tendril of magic.

It wasn't like the Ancient Magic. This Magic looked like it was smoking, it's movements were erratic as it thrashed to escape the hold Percival had on it. He could feel it, it needed something to latch on to without Anne. It wanted him, it wanted to consume him.

Then a hand touched his shoulder and his senses expanded again. His arm felt like it was on fire. The curse exploded out of Percival's wand, ricocheting off walls and windows and tables. Anne screamed and ducked as cracks appeared in the ceiling. Sebastian covered her with his body to shield her. Solomon kept trying to catch it but was only able to hold it for a moment before it escaped his grasp.

“Percy!” The hand shook him and he blinked, refocusing on his twin. Idris. “You have to get it back!”

Right. Get it back. He had to get it back. Percival held his wand out and pulled his Ancient Magic to the surface again, letting it guide him. He followed its compulsions and thrust his wand out. The curse was pinned but it was still trying to escape. It kept yanking itself back towards Anne. Percival's heart dropped into his stomach.

“What is it doing?!” Sebastian cried.

“It wants to go back into Anne!” Percival shouted. “It needs a host or it's going to destroy Feldcroft!”

“I'll take it!” Sebastian volunteered immediately.

“No!” Anne protested. “It's my curse, I'll take it back!”

“You're finally free of it, I won't let it take you back!”

“It's my choice Sebastian! Percival, please!”

Percival glanced at Anne. The way her eyes were pleading with him made tears gather in his own. She just wanted her family to be safe. She already looked barely alive. This curse would kill her.

Then he looked at Sebastian, who's eyes were filled with determination. who just wanted to protect his sister and would do anything to do so but was doomed to lose her anyway.

Annabelle's body was on the floor, bloody and broken. Her eyes were empty as they stared right at him. He couldn't protect her. Why didn't he protect her? He should've protected her. Now the monster was back. He couldn't let it happen again.

“No.” Percival yanked his wand back, not towards Sebastian or Anne. He yanked it in. The curse flew across the house until it collided with his own chest.

The house was silent. No one moved. Finally the feeling was gone. He could think clearly again. He took a deep breath as he tried to reconcile with what he just did. He couldn't take it back, and he wouldn't even if he could. But the regret was beginning to build. Already he felt weaker than he ever had, like he could collapse right there.

“Percival what did you do?” Idris whispered. Percival met their eyes, an apology on his lips.

Then Percival screamed.
