Let's look at our sans timeline, fellas.
'50/60s Greaser
'70s
'80/90s Fresh
AS YOU CAN SEE, THERE IS A GAP.
WELL, NO MORE!! I PRESENT TO YOU: JIVE!!
Tumblr media
Literally the only reason he's a parasite is cause Fresh was big inspo anyway and I'm NOT about to make a whole '70s AU.
Tumblr media
He doesn't tend to stick around long enough for his shortie hosts to dust ☝️
Now you may be thinking, "but Swan, what about Sage? She's clearly based on '70s-" SHH SHH SHH this is UTMV, not Lucidia OK? PLUS! This town is big enough for both of them.
Yall are chill, right you two?
Tumblr media
Glad we had this very credible chat, thank you 😌
Also he may be having a bit of a fling with @imalija 's 1880s Sans who's in works rn 😳

McDonald's Embarcadero Center (1975) - designed by the firm, Environmental Planning & Research
"The recently opened McDonald's in San Francisco's Embarcadero Center is a complete departure from the usual gold-arches-suburban-drive-in image usually associated with one of America's most popular chains of fast-food restaurants.
Although the design solution provides an entirely new look for the restaurant, it still meets McDonald's specified requirements of non-movable furnishings, fast turnover, flexible seating patterns and pre-established seating/circulation/equipment relationships. In addition, it stayed within the given budget and was completed at a cost of $22.00 a square foot, excluding kitchen.
A total environment was created using specially treated elm wood in a single color tone for walls, floor, ceiling and seating benches. Color accents come from green plants and burnt orange table tops.
Seating for 155 is provided by free-standing benches or wall banquettes which run continuously around the dining area forming seating clusters to accommodate from one to ten people. Tables rest on floor-attached pedestals, and the benches have fully tiled bases making floor maintenance easier. The burnt orange table tops are of a resin material which is heat resistant and easy to clean. To conceal McDonald's standard 24-inch square trash receptacles (18 in all), the designers created architectural forms which also serve as planters.
Of special interest is the ceiling and lighting treatment which is an integral part of the overall design and reflects the restaurant's seating patterns. It also provides variations in light levels; helps absorb sound; and houses heavy mechanical equipment."

Seventies Shed
What can be said of the 1970s shed? Sometimes known as cedar contemporary or California contemporary, they are, in my opinion, often underappreciated and misunderstood. I see them as the little evolutionary escape route that midcentury modern took while middle class America barreled forward toward the McMansion.
This shed home has everything I love about the style: cedar shingles, warm wood tones, multiple outdoor zones, plus everyone's favorites, track lighting and hideous bathroom color combos. (Black and brass, baby! No? Just me?) The kitchen has, blessedly, been updated, because I just couldn't bring myself to put the more period-appropriate BlandCo contemporary counters into this house. I mean, I do want people to download it.
This home might be perfect for: native San Sequioans, your sim family's second home upgrade (a little dated and a little too big, but we'll grow into it!), the decades challenge, yuppie sims who host wine and cheese nights
Lot details:

Color and Killer... In kebaya, I guess
Tumblr media
Wow, them in traditional clothing. Who would've thought...
Explanations below
I started out loving this idea but I hated the execution (God forbid me trying to manually draw another Batik pattern)
Fortunately after 8 hours it is finished. Now out of the Chromatic Crew (is that what you guys call them), only Delta hasn't received a pretty kebaya. I have plans.
I think I'll grow fond of this.
The fabric draped over Killer's shoulders is a last minute addition, it's called so many names that I cannot say exactly what it is. In Melayu, it is usually called Songket.
Terribly drawn ref sheets (I sincerely apologise if this is offensive to any culture, really):

(Killer's was done right after I wake up I barely register stuff— so yeah, I'll admit. Kinda ugly. Still pretty in my opinion, though. I really like Color's though...)

Note
Does Jive like/know his other "siblings"
Well, he definitely knows OF them, but despite being quite social, he's pretty hesitant about approaching other parasites, considering how his only frame of reference for how that could go is Fresh. (But if he finds out most of the freshgrease ones didn't have to pull a Houdini level escape within the first few minutes of their lives, he might flip a lid lmao)
Tumblr media
[Though if you happen to have a parasite OC we could definitely acquainte them ;P
Main reason he doesn't know them is that I'm not in contact with other parasite-havers to let that be canon haha]

Some sad news to share, friends - Nobuyo Oyama, the original voice of the iconic anime cat Doraemon, has passed away at the age of 90. She had retired in 2012, due to being diagnosed with dementia. Before that, she had played the role of Japan's favorite robot cat for over 25 years. Other notable roles include Kappei Jin in Zambot 3, Katsuo Isono in Sazae-san til 1970, and was the original voice of Monokuma in the Danganronpa videogames and TV series until her retirement in 2015. Many in the Japanese entertainment industry are sharing their condolences, memories, and tributes online. You can see just a small amount of the outpouring of love here.
