day 8 of romanticizing my life until i love myself again

a long, hot, colorful day

maybe they’re right, and one day all of our notes and silly little photos and journal rants and voice memos will be in a museum someday because our art will become bigger than us

they say i need you to do my obituary, they mean i want you to make a museum about me

of course i agree, because i love them, and i would make a thousand museums for them if they died, no matter how famous they became prior to death

this city is so full of art, everywhere

and when there is no sound, i hear music humming in the background. i used to think it was psychosis, after seeing how many times the same melody would repeat in order to tell if it was someone else’s music or just in my head

i think i just hear things differently, there is a melody in every sound, and the sounds here feel in harmony. i don’t know how else to describe it.

praying that i will at least know what is wrong with my ac tomorrow. it’s too hot to do another week without one, but i’m running out of money and need to work and already spent $200 on the ac and just paid rent so… hoping it’s not expensive and hoping it’s not my fault that it’s leaking

reminding myself i can find peace in any storm, and there have been much, much worse storms

Another episode that I thought was like, kind of okay? Decent slice of life stuff, mystery feels like something that they'd actually want to solve, there's something of a narrative throughline to the episode with the imagined sibling dynamics stuff, it's fine.

Unfortunately (and that word doesn’t even encompass the devastation of this event), there is no stopping “all of this.” The July 1, 2024 proclamation by SCOTUS is essentially irreversible. The only glimmer of a o positive future is if the general public votes into the presidency an individual of impeccable moral character. One who would not conceive of, nor act upon, any unlawful wrongdoing for any of his or her time in office, and any of the remaining years of life following their service. This SCOTUS has fundamentally gone against the founding Constitution of the United States of America and declared a return to kingship as its ruling agency. This is true and lasting whether Donald Trump gains office for another term or not. Currently, there is no mechanism in place to reverse a wrongful or biased finding of the SCOTUS.

Update your passports, Folks. Time to leave.
